| 1 | Efficient degradation of drug ibuprofen through catalytic activation of peroxymonosulfate by Fe_3C embedded on carbon显示文摘Ibuprofen(IBU),a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug,is becoming an important member of pharmaceuticals and personal care products(PPCPs)as emerging pollutants.To degrade IBU,magnetic Fe_3C nanoparticles embedded on N-doped carbon(Fe_3C/NC)were prepared as a catalyst by a sol–gel combustion method.As characterized,the Fe_3C/NC nanoparticles were composed of a NC nano-sheet and capsulated Fe_3C particles on the sheet.The Fe_3C/NC nanoparticles were confirmed an efficient catalyst for peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation to generate sulfate radicals(SO_4^(·-)),single oxygen(~1O_2)and hydroxyl radicals(·OH)toward the degradation of IBU.The added IBU(10 mg/L)was almost completely removed in 30 min by using 0.1 g/L Fe_3C/NC and 2 g/L PMS.The catalyst was confirmed to have good ability and excellent reusability through leaching measurements and cycle experiments.A catalytic mechanism was proposed for the catalytic activation of PMS on Fe_3C/NC,which involves both Fe_3C reactive sites and N-doped carbon matrix as reactive sites in Fe_3C/NC.Moreover,the degradation pathway of IBU in the Fe_3C/NC-PMS system was proposed according to the detections of degradation intermediates. | Guangli Zhang Yaobin Ding Wenshan Nie Heqing Tang | 2019 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,4: | 2 |

| 6 | Bionic Design and Analysis of a Novel Quadruped Robot with a Multistage Buffer System显示文摘Large quadruped mammals,such as ruminants,have outstanding motion ability,including running and bounding.These advanced motion abilities are related to the buffer effect of their complicated musculoskeletal systems.However,the buffer effect of most bio-robots is not satisfactory owing to the simple design of their buffer systems.In this paper,a physiological analysis of the ruminant musculoskeletal system is presented to explain the intrinsic buffer mechanism of motion.Based on the physical buffer parts of the ruminant limbs,the corresponding bionic mappings were determined.These mappings were used to guide the mechanism design of the robot multistage buffer system.The multistage buffer system includes two main buffer mechanisms:the first stage and the second stage.The buffer mechanism analysis of the first stage and multiple stages is discussed in theory to compare the effects between the normal single buffer system and the novel multistage buffer system.Then,the detailed mechanical structure of the limbs was designed based on the limb mechanism design.To further verify the superior efficacy of the multistage buffer system,the corresponding walking simulation experiments were conducted after the virtual prototype of a quadruped robot with a novel limb was built completely.Both theoretical analysis and simulation experiments prove that the bionic robot design with the novel multistage buffer system achieves better motion performance than the traditional robot buffer design and can be regarded as the design template of the robot limb. | Yi Zheng Kun Xu Yaobin Tian Huichao Deng Xilun Ding | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2022,35,2: | 1 |
| 7 | Different manipulation mode analysis of a radial symmetrical hexapod robot with leg-arm integration显示文摘With the widespread application of legged robot in various fields,the demand for a robot with high locomotion and manipulation ability is increasing.Adding an extra arm is a useful but general method for a legged robot to obtain manipulation ability.Hence,this paper proposes a novel hexapod robot with two integrated leg–arm limbs that obtain dexterous manipulation functions besides locomotion ability without adding an extra arm.The manipulation modes can be divided into coordinated manipulation condition and single-limb manipulation condition.The former condition mainly includes fixed coordinated clamping case and fixed coordinated shearing case.For the fixed coordinated clamping case,the degrees of freedom(DOFs)analysis of equivalent parallel mechanism by using screw theory and the constraint equation of two integrated limbs are established.For the fixed coordinated shearing case,the coordinated working space is determined,and an ideal coordinated manipulation ball is presented to guide the coordinated shearing task.In addition,the constraint analysis of two adjacent integrated limbs is performed.Then,mobile manipulation with one integrated leg–arm limb while using pentapod gait is discussed as the single-limb manipulation condition,including gait switching analysis between hexapod gait and pentapod gait,different pentapod gaits analysis,and a complex six-DOF manipulation while walking.Corresponding experiments are implemented,including clamping tasks with two integrated limbs,coordinated shearing task by using two integrated limbs,and mobile manipulation with pentapod gait.This robot provides a new approach to building a multifunctional locomotion platform. | Yi ZHENG Kun XU Yaobin TIAN Xilun DING | 2022 | Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2022,17,1: | 0 |
| 8 | Surgical correction for scimitar syndrome by right thoracotomy and direct anastomosis in chUdren显示文摘Importance:Scimitar syndrome(SS)is a rare type of congenital heart disease characterized by total or partial anomalous venous drainage of the right lung to the inferior vena cava.However,the surgical repair techniques for SS vary according to patients'anatomical and pathological features.Objective:This study was performed to analyze the mid-term results of a less invasive surgical correction technique for SS in children.Methods:Eleven patients with SS who underwent surgical repair from January 2012 to March 2020 were retrospectively analyzed.The anomalous scimitar vein(SV)was directly reimplanted to the left atrium,and the concomitant atrial septal defect was simultaneously repaired with cardiopulmonary bypass.Results:Three male and eight female patients were included in the study.Their mean age was 3.1±1.3 years,and their mean body weight was 12.8±3.0 kg.Most patients had symptoms,such as upper respiratory tract infection,dyspnea,and recurrent pneumonia,and two patients had pulmonary hypertension.None of the 11 patients who underwent direct SV reimplantation by right thoracotomy developed bleeding,arrhythmia,heart failure,or perioperative death,and no patients required reoperation during a mean follow-up period of 36.6±15.2 months.Postoperative echocardiography revealed no restenosis or obstruction of the anastomosis in any patients.Interpretation:Surgical repair for SS by right thoracotomy and direct anastomosis of the SV to the posterior wall of the left atrium is safe and effective,with good long-term patency of the reimplanted SV and a low mortality rate. | Wei Cheng Zhiqiang Li Yaobin Zhu Nan Ding Daole Yan Hanlu Yi | 2021 | Pediatric Investigation2021,5,1: | 0 |
