Heterostructured Electrocatalysts for Hydrogen Evolution Reaction Under Alkaline Conditions显示文摘The hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) is a half-cell reaction in water electrolysis for producing hydrogen gas. In industrial water electrolysis, the HER is often conducted in alkaline media to achieve higher stability of the electrode materials. However, the kinetics of the HER in alkaline medium is slow relative to that in acid because of the low concentration of protons in the former.Under the latter conditions, the entire HER process will require additional effort to obtain protons by water dissociation near or on the catalyst surface. Heterostructured catalysts, with fascinating synergistic effects derived from their heterogeneous interfaces, can provide multiple functional sites for the overall reaction process. At present, the activity of the most active known heterostructured catalysts surpasses(platinum-based heterostructures) or approaches (noble-metal-free heterostructures) that of the commercial Pt/C catalyst under alkaline conditions, demonstrating an infusive potential to break through the bottlenecks. This review summarizes the most representative and recent heterostructured HER catalysts for alkaline medium. The basics and principles of the HER under alkaline conditions are first introduced, followed by a discussion of the latest advances in heterostructured catalysts with/without noblemetal-based heterostructures. Special focus is placed on approaches for enhancing the reaction rate by accelerating the Volmer step. This review aims to provide an overview of the current developments in alkaline HER catalysts, as well as the design principles for the future development of heterostructured nano-or micro-sized electrocatalysts.Jumeng Wei Min Zhou Anchun Long Yanming Xue Hanbin Liao Chao Wei Zhichuan J.Xu 2018Nano-Micro Letters2018,10,4:11
Effect of naringenin in Qianggu capsule on population pharmacokinetics in Chinese women with primary osteoporosis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To characterize naringenin(NAR) population pharmacokinetics(PPK) in Chinese women with primary osteoporosis.METHODS:Ninety-eight female patients with primary osteoporosis from the Jingshan,Beixinqiao,Jiaodaokou,Chaoyangmen, and Donghuamen communities in Beijing,China, aged 40 to 80 years, received oral Qianggu capsules(250 mg).Blood samples were collected before and at 0.5,1,2,3,4,6,8,10,12,and 24 h after administration. The concentration of NAR in the blood samples was measured using high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.PPK analyses were performed with nonlinear mixed-effect modeling software(version 7.1.2,PsN3.2.12).The clearance(C1),central distribution volume(V),absorption rate constant(Ka1),peripheral distribution volume(VII),and inter-compartmental clearance(CLII) were set as parameters and estimated by the base model, covariate model, and final model.Kidney-Yang deficiency[Shenyangxu(SYAX)]and liver-kidney-Yin deficiency(Ganshenyinxu) are patterns of symptoms in Traditional Chinese Medicine that were set as covariates, along with age, height, blood urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, alanine transaminase, aspartate transaminase, and hyperlipidemia. Both stepwise forward and backward procedures were accomplished to build models. The final model was evaluated by internal and external validation, visual predictive check, bootstrap, and leverage analysis.RESULTS:A one compartment open model with first order degradation was the best fitted to the concentration-time profiles following oral administration of NAR.The mean of population parameters of the final model,C1,SYAX on C1,V,Ka1,CLII,and VII,were measured to be 37.6 L/h,0.427 L,123 L/h,0.12/h,0.3056,and 1.446,respectively.Inter-individual variability was estimated and SYAX was identified as a significant covariate.CONCLUSION:The population pharmacokinetic model described in this study could effectively characterize the pharmacokinetic profile of NAR following administration of a single dose of oral Qianggu capsules in Chinese women with primary osteoporosis.Among the tested covariates, only SYAX was a significant factor.Wang Jiannong Jiang Junjie Xie Yanming Wei Xu Li Jianpeng Duan Jingli Xiong Xin 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,2:9
Promoted effect of zinc–nickel bimetallic oxides supported on HZSM-5 catalysts in aromatization of methanol显示文摘Zn/ZSM-5(NZ2) and Zn/Ni/ZSM-5(NZ3) as the catalysts for methanol to aromatics(MTA) were synthesized by a simple ultrasonic impregnation. The textural and acid properties of all catalysts were characterized using XRD, HRTEM, NH_3-TPD, Py-IR, XPS, XRF and TG techniques. The XRD and HRTEM results showed that the basic zeolite structures were not affected much with the incorporation of Zn and Ni species. However, great changes have taken place in acid properties. The Py-IR and XPS results indicated that the Zn-Lewis acid sites(ZnOH^+ species), which have stronger interaction with the zeolite framework compared with ZnO species, were generated at the expense of B acid sites with the incorporation of zinc species. Moreover, the product analysis results showed that the incorporation of zinc species promoted the primary aromatization by enhancing the dehydroaromatization and suppressing the cracking and subsequent H-transfer reaction. Furthermore, the addition of Ni species well inhibited the loss of zinc species by converting partial ZnO species to ZnOH^+ species, and thus improved the aromatization activity and catalyst stability. The catalytic performance results showed that the NZ3 possess higher conversion of methanol in a longer time and lower average rate of coke formation compared with NZ2. In addition, the NZ3 also exhibited the highest yield of BTX as the reaction proceeds.Yanming Jia Junwen Wang Kan Zhang Wei Feng Shibin Liu Chuanmin Ding Ping Liu 2017Journal of Energy Chemistry2017,26,3:7
Multi-objective clustering analysis via combinatorial pigeon inspired optimization显示文摘Multi-objective data clustering is an important issue in data mining, and the realization of data clustering using the multiobjective optimization technique is a significant topic. A combinatorial multi-objective pigeon inspired optimization(CMOPIO)with ring topology is proposed to solve the clustering problem in this paper. In the CMOPIO, a delta-locus based coding approach is employed to encode the pigeons. Thus, the length of pigeon representation and the dimension of the search space are significantly reduced. Thereby, the computational load can be effectively depressed. In this way, the pigeon inspired optimization(PIO) algorithm can be discretized with an auxiliary vector to address data clustering. Moreover, an index-based ring topology with the ability of contributing to maintain flock diversity is adopted to improve the CMOPIO performance. Comparative simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of our proposed CMOPIO for solving data clustering problems.CHEN Lin DUAN HaiBin FAN YanMing WEI Chen 2020Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,7:4
Lock threshold deterioration induced by antenna vibration and signal coupling effects in hypersonic vehicle carrier tracking system of Ka band显示文摘The envelope of a hypersonic vehicle is affected by severe fluctuating pressure, which causes the airborne antenna to vibrate slightly. This vibration mixes with the transmitted signals and thus introduces additional multiplicative phase noise. Antenna vibration and signal coupling effects as well as their influence on the lock threshold of the hypersonic vehicle carrier tracking system of the Ka band are investigated in this study. A vibration model is initially established to obtain phase noise in consideration of the inherent relationship between vibration displacement and electromagnetic wavelength. An analytical model of the Phase-Locked Loop(PLL), which is widely used in carrier tracking systems, is established. The coupling effects on carrier tracking performance are investigated and quantitatively analyzed by imposing the multiplicative phase noise on the PLL model. Simulation results show that the phase noise presents a Gaussian distribution and is similar to vibration displacement variation. A large standard deviation in vibration displacement exerts a significant effect on the lock threshold. A critical standard deviation is observed in the PLL of Binary Phase Shift Keying(BPSK) and Quadrature Phase Shift Keying(QPSK) signals. The effect on QPSK signals is more severe than that on BPSK signals. The maximum tolerable standard deviations normalized by the wavelength of the carrier are 0.04 and 0.02 for BPSK and QPSK signals, respectively. With these critical standard deviations, lock thresholds are increased from à12 andà4 d B to 3 and à2 d B, respectively.Congying ZHU Lei SHI Xiaoping LI Yanming LIU Wei AI 2018Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2018,31,4:4
Deposition of sandstorms in a vegetation-covered sand dune in Ejin Oasis and its characteristics显示文摘“Ejin Section” found in a typical vegetation-covered sand dune in Ejin Oasis was investigated. In this study, 263 samples were taken from the section for grain-size analysis, 25 for chemical analysis, 11 for 14C dating and 6 for scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results of the study indicate that 3 types of the sediments in the section can be identified, YS, LS and ST. YS, homogeneous yellow-brown dune sands, is equal to those of inland deserts, LS, loess-like sandy soils, is the same as the sandy loess in the middle Yellow River and modern falling dusts, and ST, sandy sediments interbeded with the deadwood and defoliation of Tamarix spp, represents the depositional process of the section interrupted by abrupt changes in climate. The Ejin Section has recorded the repeated dust-storms or sandstorms since 2500 yr BP and the peak periods of the dust-storms or sandstorms revealed by the section are consistent with the records of “dust rains” in historical literatures, indicating that the change of climate is a key factor to increase sandstorms or dust-storms, whereas, “artificial” factor may only be an accelerating one for desertification.WENXiaohao LI Baosheng WANG Wei LI Sen OU Xianjiao ZHENG Yanming 2006Journal of Geographical Sciences2006,16,4:3
Establishment of safety evidence for Xingxue~ Shuxuening injection显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To systematically investigate the safety of Xingxue~ Shuxuening injection(SXN) in preand post-marketing, and to ensure clinical drug safety.METHODS: Strict quality control in raw herb selection and production processes was adopted and pharmacology research on SXN was performed by the drug manufacturing company, Heilongjiang ZBD Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. We systematically reviewed the safety literature of Xingxue~ SXN. Adverse drug reaction(ADR) data of the drug, extracted from Spontaneous Reporting System(SRS), and clinical characters based on 20 hospital information systems(HIS) in China, were analyzed. Large-scale prospective safety monitoring and Risk Minimization Action Plans(Risk MAPs) of Xingxue~SXN were carried out.RESULTS: The quality of SXN was stable and controllable when it was produced. Drug toxicology studies found no effect on rabbits with hemolytic or condensed, local stimulation and muscle stimulation, and no allergic reactions in guinea pigs. The ADRs of Xingxue~ SXN were dizziness, phlebitis, and vomiting based on SRS data. The injection did not conform to instructions in clinical practice when we analyzed HIS database, and patient’s abnormal blood urea nitrogen levels may be related to the drug, when analyzed using the propensity score method. A nested case-control study was designed and performed to analyze the influencing factors of suspected allergic reactions to SXN. The study showed that patients with an allergy history were more prone to allergic reactions(P<0.001),and some medicine combinations could cause allergic reactions.CONCLUSION: These studies have established a body of evidence on Xingxue~ SXN safety, and provide a good model for Chinese medicine injection for clinical safety. The Xingxue~ SXN production process and toxicology research indicate the safety of the injection. However, the use of the injection is not consistent with instructed clinical practice.Xingxue~ SXN causes ADRs perhaps from inappropriate usage or its pharmacological action. This injection needs better Risk MAPs to ensure its clinical safety.Wei Yang Wen Zhang Yanming Xie Bing Han 2014Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2014,34,5:3
Raman spectroscopy regulation in van der Waals crystals显示文摘Raman spectroscopy is a versatile tool widely used for comprehensive probing of crystal information. However, generally when applied in narrow-band-gap van der Waals crystals, it is liable to form a 'bug,' especially in transition-metal-dichalcogenides(TMDs). That is, several resonant Raman-scattering(RS) modes will inevitably appear in the Raman spectra with strong intensity, interfering with the desired signal of optical-phonon modes. Here, we propose cross-sectional polarized Raman scattering capable of regulating the intensity of RS modes in accordance with quasi-sinusoidal rules. Typically, for MoS_2 and WS_2, when the polarization vector of excited light is along the c axis of the crystal, all RS modes are nearly completely 'expunged' from the Raman spectra. The mechanism is that the absorption of most TMDs with a space group of R_(3m)for the light polarized along the c axis is infinitesimal, thus forming a small coupling intensity of electronic states excited optically and acoustic-phonon modes at point M, which in turn restrain the appearance of RS modes. The regulating strategy proposed can be applied to other van der Waals crystals so as to obtain a high signal-to-noise ratio Raman spectrum.WEI ZHENG YANMING ZHU FADI LI FENG HUANG 2018Photonics Research2018,,11:3
Plant diversity-productivity patterns in the alpine steppe environment of the Central Tianshan Mountains显示文摘The biodiversity-productivity relationship is an important topic in the research of bio- diversity and ecosystem function. The plant diversity-productivity pattern is commonly unimodal and positively correlated. This paper researches the characteristics of plant diversity-productivity patterns in the Bayanbuluk alpine steppe in the central Tianshan Mountains, Xinjiang, China, and analyzes the effects of environmental factors on the distribution of plant communities, species composition, plant diversity and productivity in the steppe. The results show a positive correlation between plant diversity and productivity. DCCA (detrended canonical correspondence analysis) ordination reveals a significant relationship between the effects of air temperature, soil moisture content, available soil nitrogen, relative humidity and pH value on the distribution and composition of plant communities. There are significant correlations between the soil moisture content, relative humidity, pH value, air temperature and species richness and the aboveground biomass of Gramineae and Cyperaceae, and also significant correlations between the relative humidity, pH values and the total aboveground biomass of plant communities.Hu, YuKun Li, KaiHui Gong, YanMing Yin, Wei 2009Journal of Arid Land2009,1,1:3
Mapping Human Pluripotent Stem Cell-derived Erythroid Differentiation by Single-cell Transcriptome Analysis显示文摘There is an imbalance between the supply and demand of functional red blood cells(RBCs)in clinical applications. This imbalance can be addressed by regenerating RBCs using several in vitro methods.Induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSCs)can handle the low supply of cord blood and the ethical issues in embryonic stem cell research, and provide a promising strategy to eliminate immune rejection. However,no complete single-cell level differentiation pathway exists for the iPSC-derived erythroid differentiation system. In this study,we used iPSC line BC1 to establish a RBC regeneration system. The 10X Genomics single-cell transcriptome platform was used to map the cell lineage and differentiation trajectory on day 14 of the regeneration system. We observed that iPSC differentiation was not synchronized during embryoid body(EB)culture. The cells(on day 14)mainly consisted of mesodermal and various blood cells, similar to the yolk sac hematopoiesis. We identified six cell classifications and characterized the regulatory transcription factor(TF)networks and cell-cell contacts underlying the system.iPSCs undergo two transformations during the differentiation trajectory, accompanied by the dynamic expression of cell adhesion molecules and estrogen-responsive genes. We identified erythroid cells at different stages, such as burst-forming unit erythroid(BFU-E)and orthochromatic erythroblast(ortho-E)cells,and found that the regulation of TFs(e.g.,TFDP1 and FOXO3)is erythroid-stage specific.Immune erythroid cells were identified in our system. This study provides systematic theoretical guidance for optimizing the iPSC-derived erythroid differentiation system, and this system is a useful model for simulating in vivo hematopoietic development and differentiation.Zijuan Xin Wei Zhang Shangjin Gong Junwei Zhu Yanming Li Zhaojun Zhang Xiangdong Fang 2021Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,3:2
Bacteroides ovatus-mediated CD27^(−)MAIT cell activation is associated with obesity-related T2D progression显示文摘Type 2 diabetes(T2D)is highly associated with obesity. However, the factors that drive the transition from excessive weight gain to glucose metabolism disruption are still uncertain and seem to revolve around systemic immune disorder.Mucosal-associated invariant T(MAIT)cells, which are innate-like T cells that recognize bacterial metabolites, have been reported to be altered in obese people and to lead to metabolic dysfunction during obesity.By studying the immunophenotypes of blood MAIT cells from a cross-sectional cohort of obese participants with/without T2D,we found an elevation in CD27^(-)negative(CD27−)MAIT cells producing a high level of IL-17 under T2D obese conditions, which could be positively correlated with impaired glucose metabolism in obese people. We further explored microbial translocation caused by gut barrier dysfunction in obese people as a triggering factor of MAIT cell abnormalities.Specifically, accumulation of the bacterial strain Bacteroides ovatus in the peripheral blood drove IL-17^(-)producing CD27−MAIT cell expansion and could be associated with T2D risk in obese individuals.Overall, these results suggest that an aberrant gut microbiota–immune axis in obese people may drive or exacerbate T2D.Importantly,CD27−MAIT cell subsets and Bacteroides ovatus could represent targets for novel interventional strategies. Our findings extend current knowledge regarding the clinical relevance of body mass index(BMI)-associated variation in circulating MAIT cells to reveal the role of these cells in obesity-related T2D progression and the underlying cellular mechanisms.Yue Li Yi Yang Jin Wang Peihong Cai Mei Li Xixiang Tang Ying Tan Yuchan Wang Fan Zhang Xiaofeng Wen Qiaoxing Liang Yuanpeng Nie Tufeng Chen Xiang Peng Xuemin He Yanhua Zhu Guojun Shi Wai WCheung Lai Wei Yanming Chen Yan Lu 2022Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,7:2
A New High-resolution Late Glacial-Holocene Climatic Record from Eastern Nanling Mountains in South China显示文摘A 350-cm-long sediment core sequence from Dahu Swamp situated in the eastern Nanling Mountains was selected for high-resolution paleoclimatic reconstruction since the Late Glacial period. The multi-proxy records of this paper reveal several evidently dry and cold events that may coincide with the Oldest Dryas, the Older Dryas, the Younger Dryas in the late deglacial period. Two relatively wetter and warmer phases occurred in ca. 15,000-14,400 cal yr B.P. and 13,500-12,800 cal yr B.P. respectively may correspond to the Blling and Allerd warming events. The Younger Dryas event (ca. 12,800-11,500 cal yr B.P.) revealed by multi-proxies was characterized by relatively colder and drier climate. A warmer and wetter climate, occurred in ca. 10,000-6000 cal yr B.P., was consistent with the Holocene Optimum, which coincided with the maximum Northern Hemisphere insolation. The '8.2kyr cool event' and even the '8.8kyr cool event' were indicated as well from our sediment core. A dry mid-Holocene period (ca. 6000- 3000 cal yr B.P.) indicated by multi-proxies does not follow the traditional concept of the wet mid-Holocene conditions observed in other regions in China.XUE Jibin ZHONG Wei ZHENG Yanming MA Qiaohong CAI Ying OUYANG Jun 2009Chinese Geographical Science2009,19,3:2

Subdivision Surface-Based Isogeometric Boundary Element Method for Steady Heat Conduction Problems with Variable Coefficient显示文摘The present work couples isogeometric analysis(IGA)and boundary element methods(BEM)for three dimensional steady heat conduction problems with variable coefficients. The Computer-Aided Design(CAD)geometries are built by subdivision surfaces, and meantime the basis functions of subdivision surfaces are employed to discretize the boundary integral equations for heat conduction analysis. Moreover, the radial integration method is adopted to transform the additional domain integrals caused by variable coefficients to the boundary integrals.Several numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the correctness and advantages of the proposed algorithm in the integration of CAD and numerical analysis.Xiuyun Chen Xiaomeng Yin Kunpeng Li Ruhui Cheng Yanming Xu Wei Zhang 2021Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,10:1
