1Analysis of the Fungal Community in Apple Replanted Soil Around Bohai Gulf显示文摘Apple replant disease(ARD) is a frequently occurring plant disease in replanted orchards around Bohai Gulf, which causes growth inhibition and even death of plants. The aim of this study was to investigate the etiology of ARD around Bohai Gulf. In this study, the primary growth inhibition of apple seedlings was evaluated in ten replanted soils, sampled around Bohai Gulf. A fungal clone library was used to identify changes in the structure and composition of the soil fungal community. The results revealed that the Simpson diversity indices of Laizhou and Pulandian orchards were higher than others, presenting severe ARD. Ascomycota dominated around Bohai Gulf at the phyla level. Fusarium and Saccharomyces were abundant in all replanted soils. In addition, correlations between the relative abundance of fungal genera in soils and the severity of ARD were analyzed. The results showed that Fusarium was correlated positively with the severity of ARD, but Mortierella was negatively correlated. Furthermore, the quantitative PCR of Fusarium oxysporum, which was regarded as a factor of ARD, was performed. 2Famitinib in combination with concurrent chemoradiotherapy in patients with locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma: a phase 1, open-label, dose-escalation Study显示文摘Background:Famitinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor against multiple targets,including vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2/3,platelet-derived growth factor receptor,and stem cell factor receptor(c-kit).Previous studies have demonstrated anti-tumour activities of famitinib against a wide variety of advanced-stage solid cancers.We aimed to determine the safety and efficacy of famitinib with concurrent chemoradiotherapy(CCRT)in patients with locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).We also evaluated the feasibility of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(D-CEUS)as a predictor of early tumour response to famitinib and to correlate functional parameters with clinical efficacy.Methods:The trial was conducted in subjects with stage III or IVa-b NPC using a 3+3 design of escalating fami-tinib doses.Briefly,subjects received 2 weeks of famitinib monotherapy followed by 7 weeks of famitinib plus CCRT.D-CEUS of the neck lymph nodes was performed at day 0,8 and 15 after famitinib was administered before starting concurrent chemoradiotherapy.End points included safety,tolerability and anti-tumour activity.Results:Twenty patients were enrolled(six each for 12.5,16.5 and 20 mg and two for 25 mg).Two patients in the 25 mg cohort developed dose-limiting toxicities,including grade 4 thrombocytopenia and grade 3 hypertension.The most common grade 3/4 adverse events were leukopenia,neutropenia and radiation mucositis.D-CEUS tests showed that more than 60%of patients achieved a perfusion parameter response after 2 weeks taking famitinib alone,and the parameter response was associated with disease improvement.In the famitinib monotherapy stage,three patients(15%)showed partial responses.The complete response rate was 65%at the completion of treatment and 95%3 months after the treatment ended.After a median follow-up of 44 months,the 3-year progression-free survival(PFS)and distant metastasis-free survival were 70%and 75%,respectively.Subjects with a decrease of perfusion parameter response,such as peak intensity decreased at least 30%after 1 week of famitinib treatment,had higher 3-year PFS(90.9%vs.44.4%,95%CI 73.7%-100%vs.11.9%-76.9%,P<0.001)than those with an increase or a reduction of less than 30%.Conclusions:The recommended famitinib dose for phase II trial is 20 mg with CCRT for patients with local advanced NPC.D-CEUS is a reliable and early measure of efficacy for famitinib therapies.Further investigation is required to confirm the effects of famitinib plus chemoradiotherapy.Qiuyan Chen Linquan Tang Na Liu Feng Han Ling Guo Shanshan Guo Jianwei Wang Huai Liu Yanfang Ye Lu Zhang Liting Liu Pan Wang Yingqin Li Qingmei He Xiaoqun Yang Qingnan Tang Yang Li YuJing Liang XueSong Sun Chuanmiao Xie Yunxian Mo Ying Guo Rui Sun Haoyuan Mo Kajia Cao Xiang Guo Musheng Zeng Haiqiang Mai Jun Ma 2018Cancer Communications2018,38,1:6
3Substantial transition to clean household energy mix in rural China显示文摘The household energy mix has significant impacts on human health and climate,as it contributes greatly to many health-and climate-relevant air pollutants.Compared to the well-established urban energy statistical system,the rural household energy statistical system is incomplete and is often associated with high biases.Via a nationwide investigation,this study revealed high contributions to energy supply from coal and biomass fuels in the rural household energy sector,while electricity comprised∼20%.Stacking(the use of multiple sources of energy)is significant,and the average number of energy types was 2.8 per household.Compared to 2012,the consumption of biomass and coals in 2017 decreased by 45%and 12%,respectively,while the gas consumption amount increased by 204%.Increased gas and decreased coal consumptions were mainly in cooking,while decreased biomass was in both cooking(41%)and heating(59%).The time-sharing fraction of electricity and gases(E&G)for daily cooking grew,reaching 69%in 2017,but for space heating,traditional solid fuels were still dominant,with the national average shared fraction of E&G being only 20%.The non-uniform spatial distribution and the non-linear increase in the fraction of E&G indicated challenges to achieving universal access to modern cooking energy by 2030,particularly in less-developed rural and mountainous areas.In some non-typical heating zones,the increased share of E&G for heating was significant and largely driven by income growth,but in typical heating zones,the time-sharing fraction was<5%and was not significantly increased,except in areas with policy intervention.The intervention policy not only led to dramatic increases in the clean energy fraction for heating but also accelerated the clean cooking transition.Higher income,higher education,younger age,less energy/stove stacking and smaller family size positively impacted the clean energy transition.Guofeng Shen Rui Xiong Yanlin Tian Zhihan Luo Bahabaike Jiangtulu Wenjun Meng Wei Du Jing Meng Yuanchen Chen Bing Xue Bin Wang Yonghong Duan Jia Duo Fenggui Fan Lei Huang Tianzhen Ju Fenggui Liu Shunxin Li Xianli Liu Yungui Li Mu Wang Ying Nan Bo Pan Yanfang Pan Lizhi Wang Eddy Zeng Chao Zhan Yilin Chen Huizhong Shen Hefa Cheng Shu Tao 2022National Science Review2022,9,7:4

6Deciphering the pharmacological mechanism of Guan-Jie-Kang in treating rat adjuvant-induced arthritis using omics analysis显示文摘Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulas have attracted increasing attention worldwide in the past few years for treating complex disease including rheumatoid arthritis. However, their mechanisms are complex and remain unclear. Guan-Jie-Kang (GJK), a prescription modified from “Wu Tou Decoction,” was found to significantly relieve arthritis symptoms in rats with adjuvant-induced arthritis after 30-day treatment, especially in the 24 g/kg/day group. By analyzing 1749 targets related to 358 compounds in the five herbs of GJK, we identified the possible anti-arthritis pathways of GJK, including the calcium signaling and metabolic pathways. Bone damage levels were assessed by micro-computed tomography, and greater bone protective effect was observed with GJK treatment than with methotrexate. Receptor activator of nuclear factor kB ligand (RANKL)-RANK signaling, which is related to calcium signaling, was significantly regulated by GJK. Moreover, a target metabolomics assay of serum was conducted;17 metabolic biomarkers showed significant correlations with treatment. An integrated pathway analysis revealed that pyruvate metabolism, purine metabolism, and glycolysis metabolism were significantly associated with the effects of GJK in arthritis treatment. 7Rnf20 deficiency in adipocyte impairs adipose tissue development and thermogenesis显示文摘RNF20,an E3 ligase critical for monoubiquitination of histone H2B at lysine 120(H2Bub),has been implicated in the regulation of various cellar processes;however,its physiological roles in adipocytes remain poorly characterized.Here,we report that the adipocyte-specific knockout of Rnf20(ASKO)in mice led to progressive fat toss,organomegaly and hyperinsulinemia.Despite signs of hyperinsulinemia,normal insulin sensitivity and improved glucose tolerance were observed in the young and aged CD-fed ASKO mice.In addition,high-fat diet-fed ASKO mice developed severe liver steatosis.Moreover,we observed that the ASKO mice were extremely sensitive to a cold environment due to decreased expression levels of brown adipose tissue(BAT)selective genes,including uncoupling protein 1(l/cpf),and impaired mitochondrial functions.Significantly decreased levels of peroxisome proliterator-activated receptor gamma(Ppary)were observed in the gonadal white adipose tissues(gWAT)from the ASKO mice,suggesting that Rnf20 regulates adipogenesis,at least in part,through Ppary.Rosiglitazone-treated ASKO mice exhibited increased fat mass compared to that of the non-treated ASKO mice.Collectively,our results illustrate the critical role of RNF20 in control of white and brown adipose tissue development and physiological function.Xiaojuan Liang Cong Tao Jianfei Pan Lilan Zhang Lulu Liu Ying Zhao Yiping Fan Chunwei Cao Jiali Liu Jin Zhang Sin Man Lam Guanghou Shui Wanzhu Jin Wei Li Jianguo Zhao Kui Li Yanfang Wang 2021Protein & Cell2021,12,6:1

11Circulating endothelial microvesicles and their carried miR-125a 5p:potential biomarkers for ischaemic stroke显示文摘Background Endothelial microvesicles(EMVs)are closely associated with the status of endothelial cells(ECs).Our earlier study has shown that EMVs could exert protective roles in ECs by transferring their carried miR-125a 5p.However,whether circulating EMVs and their carried miR-125a 5p can be used as biomarkers in ischaemic stroke(IS)are remain unknown.Methods We recruited 72 subjects with IS,60 subjects with high stroke risk and 56 age-matched controls.The circulating EMVs and their carried miR-125a 5p(EMV-miR 125a 5p)levels were detected.We used microRNA(miR)array to study expression changes of miRs in plasma EMVs samples of three IS patients and three matched healthy controls.Transient middle cerebral artery occlusion(tMCAO)was used to establish IS mouse model.Results EMVs level was obviously elevated in IS patients,with the highest level in acute stage,and was positively related to carotid plaque,carotid intima-media thickness(IMT),National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),infarct volume.On the contrary,we observed that EMV-miR 125a 5p level was obviously reduced in IS,with the lowest level in acute stage,and was negatively correlated with carotid plaque,IMT,NIHSS scores,infarct volume.EMVs and EMV-miR 125a 5p levels were closely related with large artery atherosclerosis subgroup.Importantly,EMVs and EMV-miR 125a 5p levels could serve as independent risk factors,and receiver operating characteristic curve achieved an area under curve(AUC)of 0.720 and 0.832 for IS,respectively,and elevated to 0.881 after their combination.In IS mouse model,control EMVs or n-EMVs administration could decrease the infarct volume and neurological deficit score,while increase the cerebral blood flow of IS mice compared with vehicle group,while IS EMVs or oxygen and glucose deprivation(OGD)-EMVs administration aggravated the tMCAO induced ischaemic injury.In addition,we observed that OGD EMVmiR-125a 5p could partially ameliorate the OGD EMVs induced brain injury after IS.Conclusions These findings demonstrate that circulating EMVs and EMV-miR 125a 5p are closely related with the occurrence,progress,subtypes and severity of IS,and they can serve as innovative biomarkers and therapeutic targets for IS,especially when they are combined.Xiaotang Ma Xiaorong Liao Jiehong Liu Yan Wang Xiang Wang Yanfang Chen Xiaojian Yin Qunwen Pan 2023Stroke & Vascular Neurology2023,8,2:0
12Deployment Strategy for Multiple Controllers Based on the Aviation On-Board Software-Defined Data Link Network显示文摘In light of the escalating demand and intricacy of services in contemporary terrestrial,maritime,and aerial combat operations,there is a compelling need for enhanced service quality and efficiency in airborne cluster communication networks.Software-Defined Networking(SDN)proffers a viable solution for the multifaceted task of cooperative communication transmission and management across different operational domains within complex combat contexts,due to its intrinsic ability to flexibly allocate and centrally administer network resources.This study pivots around the optimization of SDN controller deployment within airborne data link clusters.A collaborative multi-controller architecture predicated on airborne data link clusters is thus proposed.Within this architectural framework,the controller deployment issue is reframed as a two-fold problem:subdomain partition-ing and central interaction node selection.We advocate a subdomain segmentation approach grounded in node value ranking(NDVR)and a central interaction node selection methodology predicated on an enhanced Artificial Fish Swarm Algorithm(AFSA).The advanced NDVR-AFSA(Node value ranking-Improved artificial fish swarm algorithm)algorithm makes use of a chaos algorithm for population initialization,boosting population diversity and circumventing premature algorithm convergence.By the integration of adaptive strategies and incorporation of the genetic algorithm’s crossover and mutation operations,the algorithm’s search range adaptability is enhanced,thereby increasing the possibility of obtaining globally optimal solutions,while concurrently augmenting cluster reliability.The simulation results verify the advantages of the NDVR-IAFSA algorithm,achieve a better load balancing effect,improve the reliability of aviation data link cluster,and significantly reduce the average propagation delay and disconnection rate,respectively,by 12.8%and 11.7%.This shows that the optimization scheme has important significance in practical application,and can meet the high requirements of modern sea,land,and air operations to aviation airborne communication networks.Yuting Zhu Yanfang Fu Yang Ce Pan Deng Jianpeng Zhu Huankun Su 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,77,12:0

14Two New Identification Methods for Encephalitozoon cuniculi on Tissue Section显示文摘[Objective] The paper aimed to search new identification methods of Encephalitozoon cuniculi on tissue sections. [Method] Using improved Gram staining method and methyl green pyronin staining method,the pathological sections of sick rabbits were stained and identified. [Result]The pathological changes in brain tissue could be clearly observed on sections,but parasites were not examined in pathological brain tissues stained by common staining method. When the pathological section was stained by improved Gram staining method,the pathological changes in brain tissue were not only stained very clearly,but blue parasites were also found in brain tissues. The parasites in epithelioid cells were stained into purple ones by methyl green pyronin staining method. 15Robust model for tunnel squeezing using Bayesian optimized classifiers with partially missing database显示文摘Accurately predicting and estimating the squeezing and ground response to tunneling remains challenging.Moreover,tunnel-squeezing hazards are much more likely to occur in deeply buried long tunnels with complex engineering-geological environments.There-fore,a high-performance predictive model for tunnel squeezing is necessary.A superior ensemble classifier is put forward in this study,which is composed of four individual classifiers(gradient boosting classifier,extra-trees classifier,AdaBoost classifier,and Logistic regression classifier)and two optimization algorithms(Bayesian optimization(BO)and sparrow search algorithm(SSA)).The training database covers five parameters:tunnel depth(H),rock tunneling quality index(Q),tunnel diameter(D),support stiffness(K),and strength stress ratio(SSR),about which the basic information is accessible at the early design phases.However,the dataset compiled from the literature is insufficient.Thus,the ten proposed methods are used to replace the missing values.During the model training pro-cess,BO shows its strong ability to optimize seventeen hyperparameters.When applied to tune the classifiers’weights,SSA achieves a fast and efficient performance.The novel Shapley Additive Explanations–LightGBM method indicates that the K is the most important input feature,followed by SSR,Q,H,and D,respectively.The ensemble classifier is then validated using the test set and additional his-torical case projects.The validation shows that the model can achieve an accuracy of 98%(i.e.,the error rate is 2%)on the test set,higher than those achieved by previous prediction models.Moreover,the predicted probability could provide warning information for timely support measures.Finally,the application results are illustrated through tests on the tunnel sections that have not yet been excavated in the line of the Sichuan–Tibet railway project.The applied predictive tendencies and laws are in line with the practical experience.In sum-mary,the proposed model’s prediction results are reasonable,and its prediction will be more accurate as more data is collected and trained for prewarning the tunnel squeezing hazard.Yin Bo Xing Huang Yucong Pan Yanfang Feng Penghai Deng Feng Gao Ping Liu Quansheng Liu 2023Underground Space2023,,3:0
16Unprecedent green macroalgae bloom:mechanism and implication to disaster prediction and prevention显示文摘Green macroalgae bloom(GMB),with the dominant species of Ulva prolifera,has regularly occurred since 2007 along the China coast.Although disaster prevention and control achieved favorable results in 2020,the satellite-observed GMB annual maximum coverage(AMC)rebounded sharply in 2021 to an unprecedented level.The reasons for this rebound and the significant interannual variability over past 15 years are still open questions.Here,by using long-term time-series(2007-2022)optical and Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite observations(1000+scenes),meteorological data and water quality statistics,the mechanism analysis was performed by exploring effects from natural factors and human activities.Two key determinants for AMC are successfully identified from numerous potential factors which are the macroalgae distribution in a key area(the Subei Shoal)during a critical period(from April to May 20)and the nutrient availability.Furthermore,by using these two parameters,a novel model for AMC prediction(R^(2)=0.87,p<0.01)is proposed and independently validated,which can reasonably explain the significant interannual variability(2014-2021)and agree well with the latest observation in 2022(percentage difference 12%).Finally,suggestions are proposed for future disaster prevention and alleviation.This work may aid future bloom prediction and management measure optimization.Mengmeng Cao Xuyan Li Tingwei Cui Xinliang Pan Yan Li Yanlong Chen Ning Wang Yanfang Xiao Xingai Song Yuzhu Xu Runa A Bing Mu Song Qing Rongjie Liu Wenjing Zhao Yuhai Bao Jie Zhang Lan Wei 2023International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1:0
