1Etiology and therapeutic management of neonatal jaundice in Iran:a systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Background Jaundice is a life-threatening disorder in the neonates.In the present study,we aimed to assess systematically available evidence on causes and management of jaundice in Iranian newborn patients.Methods We searched the databases of PubMed,Web of Sciences,Scopus and Google Scholar for English articles published since inception until May 2019.A search was also done for Persian articles in Magiran and Scientific Information Database.Studies were evaluated based on predefined criteria by two reviewers.Data analysis was performed by STATA software.Results A total of 33 articles were finally included.The overall pooled prevalence of causes of jaundice among Iranian neonates was as follows:ABO blood groups incompatibility,16.9%[95%confidence interval(CI)10.9-22.8];Rh blood group incompatibility,4%(95%CI 2.5-5.5);ABO and Rh blood groups incompatibility,3.6%(95%CI 0-7.7);glucose6-phosphate dehydrogenase(G6PD)deficiency,6.3%(95%CI 5.1-7.5);infection,6.6%(95%CI 5.2-8.1);hypothyroidism,4.2%(95%CI 0.1-8.3);infant of diabetic mother:2.3%(95%CI 0.1-4.5);unknown,50.7%(95%CI 33.4-68);cephalohematoma,0.6%(95%CI 0.3-0.9).Regarding treatment of icterus,seven and eight articles were found on phototherapy and exchange transfusion,respectively.In five studies,all patients underwent phototherapy,but rate of exchange transfusion use was between 6.6%and 50.9%.Conclusions According to the results,unknown factors were the most common causes of icterus in Iranian neonates,followed by ABO blood groups incompatibility,infections and G6PD deficiency.By the way,phototherapy and exchange transfusion were found as therapeutic choices of neonatal jaundice.Yadollah Zahed Pasha Shaghayegh Alizadeh-Tabari Ermia Zahed Pasha Mohammad Zamani 2020World Journal of Pediatrics2020,16,5:23
2Catalytic evaluation of promoted CeO_2-ZrO_2 by transition, alkali, and alkaline-earth metal oxides for diesel soot oxidation显示文摘Series of mixed metal oxides were synthesized by gel-combustion method and their catalytic activities for soot oxidation were investigated. The catalysts were M-Ce-Zr(M = Mn, Cu, Fe, K, Ba, Sr), and xK-20Mn-Ce-Zr(x = 0, 5, 10, 20), they were characterized by XRD, SEM, TPR and BET surface area techniques. The results of soot temperature programmed oxidation(TPO) in an O2 oxidizing atmosphere indicate that K-Ce-Zr has the highest catalytic activity for soot oxidation under loose contact condition, due to enhancement of the soot and catalyst contacts. On the other hand, under a tight contact condition, Mn-Ce-Zr and Cu-Ce-Zr nano-composites have high activities for soot oxidation and lower the soot TPO peak temperatures by about 280 and 270℃, respectively, as compared to non-catalytic soot oxidation. 3Extraction and determination of trace amounts of chlorpromazine in biological fluids using magnetic solid phase extraction followed by HPLC显示文摘A simple,rapid and sensitive method termed as magnetic solid phase extraction(MSPE)combined with high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detector(HPLC-UV) has been proposed for the delcmiination of trace amounts of chlorproma/ine(CPZ) in water,urine and plasma samples.The separation and determination was performed on a CI8 column under the optimal chromatographic conditions.Several factors influencing the extraction efficiency of CPZ.such as pH.surfactant and adsorbent amounts,ionic strength,extraction time,sample volume and desorption conditions,were studied and optimized.Under the optimal MSPE conditions,the extraction percentage of CPZ was 74%.27%and 16%in water,urine and plasma samples,respectively.The limits of detection(LODs) of the proposed approach were 0.1.5.0 and 10ng/mL in water,urine and plasma samples,respectively.The relative standard deviations(RSDs) based on five replicate determinations at K)ng/mL level of CPZ was 1.2%.Good linear behaviors over the investigated concentration ranges(0.25-300ng/mL) with good coefficient of determination,R^2>0.9998.were obtained.Good spike recoveries with relative errors less than 9.0%were obtained when applying the proposed method to water,urine and plasma samples.Yadollah Yamini Mohammad Faraji 2014Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2014,4,4:9
4SMFs-supported Pd nanocatalysts in selective acetylene hydrogenation:Pore structure-dependent deactivation mechanism显示文摘In the present study,CNFs,ZnO and Al2O3 were deposited on the SMFs panels to investigate the deactivation mechanism of Pd-based catalysts in selective acetylene hydrogenation reaction.The examined supports were characterized by SEM,NH3-TPD and N2adsorption-desorption isotherms to indicate their intrinsic characteristics.Furthermore,in order to understand the mechanism of deactivation,the resulted green oil was characterized using FTIR and SIM DIS.FTIR results confirmed the presence of more unsaturated constituents and then,more branched hydrocarbons formed upon the reaction over alumina-supported catalyst in comparison with the ones supported on CNFs and ZnO,which in turn,could block the pores mouths.Besides the limited hydrogen transfer,N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms results supported that the lowest pore diameters of Al2O3/SMFs close to the surface led to fast deactivation,compared with the other catalysts,especially at higher temperatures.Elaheh Esmaeili Ali Morad Rashidi Yadollah Mortazavi Abbas Ali Khodadadi Mehdi Rashidzadeh 2013Journal of Energy Chemistry2013,22,5:5
5Oxidative coupling of methane over (Na_2WO_4+Mn or Ce)/SiO_2 catalysts:In situ measurement of electrical conductivity显示文摘The effects of manganese oxide or ceria promoters on the performance of Na2WO4/SiO2 catalysts for oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) are reported. The OCM reaction was performed in a continuous-flow microreactor at 800 ℃, atmospheric pressure and under GHSV = 13200 ml gC-1at h-1. Catalysts were characterized by in situ conductivity measurement, FT-IR spectroscopy, XRD, SEM and temperature programmed reduction analysis. Manganese oxide promoted Na2WO4/SiO2 is considered as one of the active and selective catalysts for OCM reaction. Ceria with high oxygen storage capacity is selected as a proper oxygen activator, providing a higher concentration of the oxy-anion species which is suitable for OCM reaction and compared with manganese oxide. Electrical conductivity of the catalysts was measured in OCM reaction under oxidizing atmosphere, i.e. in the absence of methane. It was found that the trimetallic catalysts, i.e. the catalysts having sodium, tungsten and Mn or Ce species, exhibited similar crystalline structures and morphologies, which lead to suitable bulk properties for the formation of an active and selective catalyst. However, tungsten had significant effect on the texture and redox properties of the catalysts. It was also shown that the crystalline structure of the bimetallic (Na+Mn or Ce)/SiO2 samples was quite different. This reveals that the metal oxides have significant effect on the extent of crystallization, taking place in the course of interaction of sodium with silica support. 6DYNAMICS OF KNOWLEDGE ACCUMULATION IN TECHNOLOGY FOLLOWER COUNTRIES: A SYSTEM DYNAMICS APPROACH显示文摘In this paper the process of knowledge accumulation for a particular technology is studied. Two countries, say the technology follower and the technology frontier, are considered. The frontier’s knowledge growth is determined by its R&D efforts on the technology. The level of knowledge stock for the follower country is augmented by its R&D activities for the technology and absorbing some of the external knowledge through spillover from the frontier. The extent to which the follower is able to exploit the external knowledge depends on technological gap, absorptive capacity, absorption time and degree of spillover. New concepts such as natural and enhanced degree of spillover, background and innovative knowledge and absorption speed are introduced in the present work to deeply explore the process of knowledge spillover. The factors influencing the knowledge development in the long term are simultaneously studied in an integrated structure provided by the System Dynamics approach.
