1A preventive control strategy for static voltage stability based on an efficient power plant model of electric vehicles显示文摘With the increasing integration of wind farms and electric vehicles(EVs)in power systems,voltage stability is becoming more and more serious.Based on vehicle-to-grid(V2G),an efficient power plant model of EVs(E-EPP)was developed to estimate EV charging load with available corresponding response capacity under different charging strategies.A preventive control strategy based on E-EPP was proposed to maintain the static voltage stability margin(VSM)of power system above a predefined security level.Two control modes were used including the disconnection of EV charging load(‘V1G’mode)and the discharge of stored battery energy back to power grid(‘V2G’mode).A modified IEEE 14-bus system with high penetration of wind power and EVs was used to verify the effectiveness of preventive control strategy.Simulation results showed that the proposed strategy can not only improve the static voltage stability of power system with considerable wind generation,but also guarantee the travelling comfort for EV owners.Mingshen WANG Yunfei MU Hongjie JIA Jianzhong WU Xiuping YAO Xiaodan YU Janaka EKANAYAKE 2015Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2015,3,1:25
2Study of a Horizontal Shear Line over the Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau and the Impact of Diabatic Heating on Its Evolution显示文摘Based on the 4 times daily 0.75°× 0.75° ERA-Interim data, the structural evolution of a Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau horizontal(east–west-oriented) shear line(TSL) during 15–19 August 2015 and the effect of diabatic heating on its evolution were analyzed. The results show that the TSL possessed a vertical thickness of up to 1.5 km(approximately 600–450 h Pa), and was baroclinic in nature. Weak ascending motions occurred near the TSL, accompanied with more significant gradients in dew point temperature than in temperature. The TSL was characterized by diurnal variations in its appearance and structure. It was relatively full in shape(broken) and was the lowest(highest) in vertical extent at 0000(1800) UTC, and veered clockwise(anticlockwise) during 0000–0600(1200–1800) UTC. When the north–south span of the TSL increased, it was prone to fracturing; and it disappeared when the dew point temperature gradients to its either side decreased. When the TSL moved northward(southward), its western(eastern) section broke up, while the eastern(western) section inclined to regenerate or merge. The TSL tended to move towards the positive vorticity areas with significant increases in vorticity. When the positive vorticity center moved down, the height of TSL decreased. 3CitGVD:a comprehensive database of citrus genomic variations显示文摘Citrus is one of the most important commercial fruit crops worldwide.With the vast genomic data currently available for citrus fruit,genetic relationships,and molecular markers can be assessed for the development of molecular breeding and genomic selection strategies.In this study,to permit the ease of access to these data,a web-based database,the citrus genomic variation database(CitGVD,http://gffzz1758061741e3440chcqoncb5oquku6fuo.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/home)was developed as the first citrusspecific comprehensive database dedicated to genome-wide variations including single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)and insertions/deletions(INDELs).The current version(V1.0.0)of CitGVD is an open-access resource centered on 1,493,258,964 high-quality genomic variations and 84 phenotypes of 346 organisms curated from in-house projects and public resources.CitGVD integrates closely related information on genomic variation annotations,related gene annotations,and details regarding the organisms,incorporating a variety of built-in tools for data accession and analysis.As an example,CitGWAS can be used for genome-wide association studies(GWASs)with SNPs and phenotypic data,while CitEVOL can be used for genetic structure analysis.These features make CitGVD a comprehensive web portal and bioinformatics platform for citrus-related studies.It also provides a model for analyzing genome-wide variations for a wide range of crop varieties.Qiang Li Jingjing Qi Xiujuan Qin Wanfu Dou Tiangang Lei Anhua Hu Ruirui Jia Guojin Jiang Xiuping Zou Qin Long Lanzhen Xu Aihong Peng Lixiao Yao Shanchun Chen Yongrui He 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:4
4Cloning and Expression Analysis of Citrus Genes Cs GH3.1 and Cs GH3.6Responding to Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri Infection显示文摘To study the functions of the early auxin-responsive genes Cs GH3.1 and Cs GH3.6 in citrus resistance against canker disease, we cloned Cs GH3.1and Cs GH3.6 in ‘Newhall' Navel Orange(Citrus sinensis Osbeck). They are 1 797 bp and 1 887 bp and encode 598 and 629 amino acids, respectively. In vitro mature leaves from susceptible ‘Newhall' and resistant Calamondin(C. madurensis) were inoculated by a Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri(Xac) bacterial suspension, and expression of Cs GH3.1 and Cs GH3.6 in the two varieties were analyzed using quantitative real-time PCR(q RT-PCR). ‘Newhall' leaves were treated with different hormones for 3 days, inoculated by Xac bacterial suspension, and then the symptoms in these leaves were investigated. We used q RT-PCR to analyze the effect of different hormones on Cs GH3.1 and Cs GH3.6 expression in ‘Newhall'leaves. The expression levels of both Cs GH3.1 and Cs GH3.6 were significantly induced by Xac in ‘Newhall' leaves, compared with levels in Calamondin leaves. 1-naphthy acetic acid(NAA) increased the hypertrophy of infection sites in ‘Newhall' leaves, while naphthyl-phthalamic acid(NPA)had no visible effect on lesion development. NAA hormone greatly improved expression of Cs GH3.1 in ‘Newhall', but not Cs GH3.6. 5Potential mechanism of Huatan Qushi decoction on improving phlegm-dampness constitution using microRNA array and RT-qPCR targeting on hsa-miR-1237e3p显示文摘Background:Metabolic diseases pose considerable burden on the healthcare system worldwide,indicating the significance of prevention and treatment.In constitution theory of traditional Chinese medicine,phlegm-dampness constitution(PDC)is the common basis of metabolic diseases.In clinical practice,Huatan Qushi(HTQS)decoction targeting on PDC can effectively improve metabolic indicators.However,its underlying biochemical mechanism still remains unclear.Methods:Eight PDC participants received HTQS decoction for three months.Their blood was collected at baseline and 1 and 3 months after intervention started.Related biomedical indicators were detected.High-throughput sequencing and RT-qPCR were used for validation.Due to the missing data,repeated measures with missing values in mixed models were used.Results:After 3-month treatment,HDL-C level increased(P<.001)and FBG,FINS,and HbA1c all showed decreasing trend at different time points(all P<.05).After miRNA high-throughput sequencing,compared with the baseline,differential miRNAs at 1 and 3 months were screened,and target gene prediction and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis were performed.The results displayed that metabolic disease-related pathways mainly included pathways in cancer,PI3K-Akt signaling pathway,etc.Further,RT-qPCR showed that hsa-miR-1237e3p differed statistically(P=.008).Then we validated the target genes of hsa-miR-1237e3p in the“Pathways in Cancer”pathway including SDF1,AC,CRK,and HGF,also known as upstream target genes of PI3K/AKT pathway.The results showed that two indicators of CRK and HGF were in statistical significance(P=.045 and P=.036,respectively).Conclusion:PDC serves as a common basis for various metabolic diseases.Through adjusting PDC,HTQS decoction can improve biomedical indicators including blood glucose,HbA1c,insulin,and HDL-C.The target pathway is“Pathways in cancer”.Specifically,HTQS decoction acts on targets of CRK and HGF by regulating hsa-miR-1237e3p,and probably exerts effects on their downstream PI3K/AKT pathway.Xiuping Zhang Ji Wang Baoxing Liu Haiqiang Yao Yu Chen Yuqing Yin Xuejing Yang Lingru Li 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2021,8,1:3
6Intensity Evolution of Zonal Shear Line over the Tibetan Plateau in Summer:A Perspective of Divergent and Rotational Kinetic Energies显示文摘Based on the ERA5 reanalysis datasets during 1980-2019,a total of eleven zonal shear lines(ZSLs)that caused heavy precipitation and lasted more than 60 hours over the Tibetan Plateau in summer are selected for composite analysis.By decomposing the kinetic energy(K)near the ZSL into divergent and rotational kinetic energies(K_(D)and K_(R))and the kinetic energy of interaction between the divergent wind and the rotational wind(K_(R)D),the influence of the rotational and divergent winds on the evolution of the ZSL intensity is investigated from the perspective of K_(D)and K_(R).The main results are as follows.The ZSL is a comprehensive reflection of rotation and convergence.The intensity evolution of ZSL is essentially synchronized with those of K,K_(R),and K_(RD)but lags behind K_(D)by about three hours.The enhancement of K is mainly contributed by K_(R),which is governed by the conversion from K_(D)to K_(R).Furthermore,the increase in the conversion from K_(D)to K_(R)is controlled by the geostrophic effect term Af,which is determined by the joint enhancement of the zonal rotational and meridional divergent wind components(u_(R)and v_(D)).Therefore,the joint enhancement of u_(R)and v_(D)controls the increase of the ZSL intensity,leading to increased precipitation.Xiaohong BAO Xiuping YAO 2022Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,7:1
7Summer Extreme Precipitation in the Key Region of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway显示文摘The Sichuan-Tibet Railway,mainly located in the southeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,is affected by summertime extreme precipitation(SEP).Using daily rain-gauge observations and ERA5 reanalysis data for the summers of 1979-2020,the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of SEP in the key region of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway(28°-33°N,90°-105°E,hereafter KR)are revealed,and the mechanism for SEP amount(SEPA)variation in the KR is investigated.The results show that SEPA in the KR contributes nearly 30%to the total summer precipitation.Regional differences are evident in SEP,justifying thresholds higher in the plateau-dominated central-western KR(CWKR)and lower in the basindominated eastern KR(EKR).In addition,SEP in the CWKR is less intense but more frequent than SEP in the EKR.During 1979-2020,the SEPA in the KR increased slightly while the SEPA in the CWKR increased significantly and peaked in the last decade.When anticyclonic circulation(AC)anomalies dominate the 500 hPa pattern over the Bay of Bengal and Mongolia,the southerly flow and cyclonic shear over the southeastern plateau will be strengthened,favoring more SEPA in the CWKR.When an AC anomaly dominates the 500 hPa pattern over the Bohai Sea,the low-level easterly wind over the basin will be strengthened,favoring more SEPA in the EKR.The strengthening of the ascent,water vapor convergence,and convective instability is conducive to more SEPA in the KR.Our results deepen the understanding of the characteristics and the physical mechanisms responsible for extreme precipitation in the KR.Jiali MA Xiuping YAO 2023Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2023,40,5:1

10Refined Evaluation of Satellite Precipitation Products against Rain Gauge Observations along the Sichuan–Tibet Railway显示文摘Being constructed in southwestern China, the Sichuan–Tibet Railway(STR) travels across the eastern Tibetan Plateau where there is the most complex terrain and changeable weather in the world. Due to sparse ground-based observations over the Tibetan Plateau, precipitation products retrieved by remote sensing are more widely used;however,satellite-based precipitation products(SPPs) have not yet been strictly and systematically evaluated along the STR.This study aims to evaluate the performance of six SPPs by a series of metrics with available ground observations along the STR during 1998–2020. The six SPPs include the datasets derived from the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission(TRMM), Climate Prediction Center morphing technique(CMORPH), Global Precipitation Measurement(GPM), Global Satellite Mapping of Precipitation(GSMaP), Precipitation Estimation from Remotely Sensed Information Using Artificial Neural Networks(PERSIANN), and Fengyun-2 satellites precipitation estimate(FY2PRE). The results indicate that most of the SPPs can capture the precipitation characteristics on multiple timescales(monthly,daily, hourly, and diurnal cycle) as shown by the evaluated metrics. The probability density functions of the daily and hourly precipitation are also well represented by the SPPs, and 30 mm day^(-1) and 16 mm h^(-1) are identified as the daily and hourly thresholds of extreme precipitation events along the STR. The best SPP varies at different timescales:GPM and GSMaP are suitable for the monthly and daily scale, and FY2PRE and GPM are suited to the hourly scale.In general, GPM is relatively optimum on multiple timescales, and PERSIANN gives the worst performance. In addition, the SPPs perform worse at higher altitudes and for more intense precipitation. 11Fast and extensive intercalation chemistry in Wadsley-Roth phase based high-capacity electrodes显示文摘Wadsley-Roth (W-R) structured oxides featured with wide channels represent one of the most promising material families showing compelling rate performance for lithium-ion batteries.Herein,we report an indepth study on the fast and extensive intercalation chemistry of phosphorus stabilized W-R phase PNb_(9)O_(25) and its application in high energy and fast-charging devices.We explore the intercalation geometry of PNb_(9)O_(25) and identify two geometrical types of stable insertion sites with the total amount much higher than conventional intercalation-type electrodes.We reveal the ion transportation kinetics that the Li ions initially diffuse along the open type Ⅲ channels and then penetrate to edge sites with low kinetic barriers.During the lithiation,no remarkable phase transition is detected with nearly intact host phosphorous niobium oxide backbone.Therefore,the oxide framework of PNb_(9)O_(25) keeps almost unchanged with all the fast diffusion channels and insertion cavities well-maintained upon cycling,which accomplishes the unconventional electrochemical performance of W-R structured electrodes.Miao Wang Zhenpeng Yao Qianqian Li Yongfeng Hu Xiuping Yin Aibing Chen Xionggang Lu Jiujun Zhang Yufeng Zhao 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,6:0
12Diagnosis of the Kinetic Energy of the“21·7”Extreme Torrential Rainfall Event in Henan Province,China显示文摘An extreme torrential rain(ETR)event occurred in Henan Province,China,during 18-21 July 2021.Based on hourly rain-gauge observations and ERA5 reanalysis data,the ETR was studied from the perspective of kinetic energy(K),which can be divided into rotational wind(V_(R))kinetic energy(K_(R)),divergent wind kinetic energy(K_(D)),and the kinetic energy of the interaction between the divergent and rotational winds(K_(RD)).According to the hourly precipitation intensity variability,the ETR process was divided into an initial stage,a rapid increase stage,and maintenance stage.Results showed that the intensification and maintenance of ETR were closely related to the upper-level K,and most closely related to the upperlevel K_(R),with a correlation coefficient of up to 0.9.In particular,the peak value of hourly rainfall intensity lagged behind the K_(R) by 8 h.Furthermore,diagnosis showed that K transformation from unresolvable to resolvable scales made the ETR increase slowly.The meridional rotational wind(u_(R))and meridional gradient of the geopotential(φ)jointly determined the conversion of available potential energy(APE)to K_(R) through the barotropic process,which dominated the rapid enhancement of K_(R) and then caused the rapid increase in ETR.The transportation of K by rotational wind consumed K_(R),and basically offset the K_(R) produced by the barotropic process,which basically kept K_(R) stable at a high value,thus maintaining the ETR.Xiuping YAO Ruoying LI Xiaohong BAO Qiaohua LIU 2024Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2024,41,1:0
13Production of marker-free transgenic plants from mature tissues of navel orange using a Cre/loxP site-recombination system显示文摘Genetic transformation with mature material as the explants could shorten the transgenic period and avoid seed dependence compared with genetic transformation using the epicotyl seedling stem segments as the receptor. Here, we constructed an Agrobacterium tumefaciensmediated transformation for generation of marker-free transgenic plants from navel orange(Citrus sinensis Osbeck) mature stems using a CreloxP recombination system. To efficiently recover the regenerated buds from mature tissues, five recovery methods were compared: in vitro micrografting of 0.1-0.5(1-2 weeks), > 0.5 cm(3-4 weeks) and > 1 cm long lignified bud and in vitro micrografting of explants with a bud and rooting regenerated bud. The data showed that in vitro micrografting of > 1 cm long regenerated bud with expanded leaves after one month of continuous culture for lignification was the optimal solution for plant recovery from mature tissues. Transgenic plants without selectable marker genes were created from navel orange(Citrus sinensis Osbeck) tissue using a transformation vector PLI-35SPR1aCB containing a Cre/loxP system recombination together with genes encoding the selectable marker isopentenyl transferase(IPT) and an anti-bacterial peptide(PR1aCB).Using IPT positive selection, the transformation efficiency determined by PCR was 0.9%, and in total, 20 transgenic plants were obtained.Southern blotting confirmed further their transgenicity. PCR and sequencing analysis demonstrated that both the Cre and IPT genes had been successfully removed from the transgenic plants(deletion efficiency 100%). 14Potential Vorticity Diagnostic Analysis on the Impact of the Easterlies Vortex on the Short-term Movement of the Subtropical Anticyclone over the Western Pacific in the Mei-yu Period显示文摘By employing NCEP−NCAR 1°×1°reanalysis datasets,the mechanism of the easterlies vortex(EV)affecting the short-term movement of the subtropical anticyclone over the western Pacific(WPSA)in the mei-yu period is examined using potential vorticity(PV)theory.The results show that when the EV and the westerlies vortex(WV)travel west/east to the same longitude of 120°E,the WPSA suddenly retreats.The EV and WV manifest as the downward transport of PV in the upper troposphere,and the variation of the corresponding high-value regions of PV significantly reflects the intensity changes of the EV and WV.The meridional propagation of PV causes the intensity change of the EV.The vertical movement on both sides of the EV is related to the position of the EV relative to the WPSA and the South Asian high(SAH).When the high PV in the easterlies and westerlies arrive at the same longitude in the meridional direction,the special circulation pattern will lower the position of PV isolines at the ridge line of the WPSA.Thus,the cyclonic circulation at the lower level will be strengthened,causing the abnormally eastward retreat of the WPSA.Analysis of the PV equation at the isentropic surface indicates that when the positive PV variation west of the EV intensifies,it connects with the positive PV variation east of the WV,forming a positive PV band and making the WPSA retreat abnormally.The horizontal advection of the PV has the greatest effect.The contribution of the vertical advection of PV and the vertical differential of heating is also positive,but the values are relatively small.The contribution of the residual was negative and it becomes smaller before and after the WPSA retreats.Xiuping YAO Qin ZHANG Xiao ZHANG 2020Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2020,37,9:0
15Study of the Relationship between Precipitation and a Transverse Shear Line over the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in Summer显示文摘Based on the 4 times daily 0.75°×0.75°ERA-Interim data,the relationship between precipitation and a transverse shear line(TSL)over Qinghai-Tibet Plateau during August 15-19,2015 is analyzed.The results show that precipitation and TSL had obvious diurnal variation.That is,the intensity of the TSL and the precipitation tended to increase from afternoon to night and reduce from 00:00 to 06:00 UTC(the same below).The shape of the rain area was basically consistent with the direction of the TSL,and when the zonal characteristics of the rain area were obvious,the precipitation distribution was relatively uniform,otherwise the local short-term heavy precipitation was easy to occur.The precipitation center was basically consistent with the positive vorticity center near the TSL,and precipitation was directly proportional to the value of positive vorticity.The equation for the budget of vorticity shows that the horizontal advection term determined the moving direction of the TSL.The vertical transportation term determined the structural characteristics of the TSL on the vertical section,and positive vertical transport item of lower level was conducive to the formation of the plateau vortex.The horizontal convergence or divergence term determined the position of the TSL,and was conducive to the maintenance of the TSL.The evolution of apparent heat source and apparent water vapor sink near the TSL had a distinct diurnal feature.Meanwhile,atmospheric heating in the precipitation process was closely related to atmospheric upward movement,and the latent heat of condensation release caused by precipitation was beneficial to the maintenance of the plateau shear line and the formation and strengthening of plateau vortex.The precipitation of the TSL was mainly dominated by weak convective precipitation.Qin GUAN Qingping LI Xiuping YAO Liang XU Yuanchang MA Delan QI 2020Meteorological and Environmental Research2020,11,2:0
