2Stipa steppes in scantily explored regions of the tibetan Plateau:classification,community characteristics and climatic distribution patterns显示文摘Aims As a unique geographical unit of the earth,the tibetan Plateau is extensively covered by various Stipa communities.However,their vegetation features have not been reported systematically till now,especially in some scantily explored regions.In this study,we endeavor to reveal the community types,quantitative charac-teristics and climatic distribution patterns of Stipa steppes in these areas based on primary relevés obtained from fieldwork.Methods We collected a total of 223 plots in 79 study sites in the Changthang Plateau and the Yarlung Zangbo Valley,ranging from 79°E to 91°E.the categories of Stipa formations were identified according to the classification scheme in Vegetation of China and then verified by Nonmetric Multidimensional Scaling.We performed detrended correspondence analysis and detrended canonical correspondence analysis to hunt for the alteration of Stipa communities along the precipitation gradient.Quantitative characteristics including species richness,coverage,biomass as well as importance values(IV)of dominant species were calcu-lated and visualized,respectively.Important Findings Stipa steppes in scantily explored regions of the tibetan Plateau are classified into 11 formations but major formations are rather limited in number.Formation(form.)Stipa purpurea is the most widespread Stipa assemblages not only in scantily explored regions but also across the whole tibetan Plateau.the characteristics of Stipa com-munities,including coverage,species richness,productivity and IV of dominant species,demonstrate the features of typical alpine steppes on the tibetan Plateau.Precipitation proves to be the prime climatic factor controlling the distribution patterns of Stipa assemblages.Form.Stipa subsessiliflora var.basiplumosa and form.Stipa glareosa normally distribute in arid habitats,but rainfall for the former is of greater variance.Form.Stipa roborowskyi and form.Stipa capillacea favor moderately moist environment.Form.Stipa purpurea and form.Stipa roborowskyi can tolerate a fairly broad range of precipitation.Haiwei Zhao Ke Guo Yao Yang Changcheng Liu Liqing Zhao Xianguo Qiao Dongjie Hou Chenguang Gao 2018Journal of Plant Ecology2018,11,4:4
3Distribution characteristics and indicator significance of Dechloranes in multi-matrices at Ny-lesund in the Arctic显示文摘In recent years, Dechloranes have been widely detected in the environment around the world.However, understanding and knowledge of Dechloranes in remote regions, such as the Arctic,remain lacking. Therefore, the concentrations of 5 Dechloranes in surface seawater, sediment,soil, moss, and dung collected from Ny-lesund in the Arctic were measured with the concentrations 93 pg/L, 342, 325, 1.4, and 258 pg/g, respectively, which were much lower than those in Asian and European regions. The mean ratios of anti-Dechlorane Plus(DP) to total DP(fanti) in seawater, sediment, soil, moss, dung, and atmospheric samples were 0.36, 0.21, 0.18,0.27, 0.66, and 0.43, respectively. Results suggested that the main source of DP in seawater,sediment, soil, and moss was long-range atmospheric transport. 4Multi‑omics reveals that the host‑microbiome metabolism crosstalk of differential rumen bacterial enterotypes can regulate the milk protein synthesis of dairy cows显示文摘Background Dairy cows’lactation performance is the outcome of the crosstalk between ruminal microbial metabo-lism and host metabolism.However,it is still unclear to what extent the rumen microbiome and its metabolites,as well as the host metabolism,contribute to regulating the milk protein yield(MPY).Methods The rumen fluid,serum and milk of 12 Holstein cows with the same diet(45%coarseness ratio),parity(2–3 fetuses)and lactation days(120–150 d)were used for the microbiome and metabolome analysis.Rumen metabolism(rumen metabolome)and host metabolism(blood and milk metabolome)were connected using a weighted gene co-expression network(WGCNA)and the structural equation model(SEM)analyses.Results Two different ruminal enterotypes,with abundant Prevotella and Ruminococcus,were identified as type1 and type2.Of these,a higher MPY was found in cows with ruminal type2.Interestingly,[Ruminococcus]gauvreauii group and norank_f_Ruminococcaceae(the differential bacteria)were the hub genera of the network.In addition,differential ruminal,serum and milk metabolome between enterotypes were identified,where the cows with type2 had higher L-tyrosine of rumen,ornithine and L-tryptophan of serum,and tetrahydroneopterin,palmitoyl-L-carnitine,S-lactoylglutathione of milk,which could provide more energy and substrate for MPY.Further,based on the identi-fied modules of ruminal microbiome,as well as ruminal serum and milk metabolome using WGCNA,the SEM analysis indicated that the key ruminal microbial module1,which contains the hub genera of the network([Ruminococcus]gauvreauii group and norank_f_Ruminococcaceae)and high abundance of bacteria(Prevotella and Ruminococcus),could regulate the MPY by module7 of rumen,module2 of blood,and module7 of milk,which contained L-tyrosine and L-tryptophan.Therefore,in order to more clearly reveal the process of rumen bacterial regulation of MPY,we established the path of SEM based on the L-tyrosine,L-tryptophan and related components.The SEM based on the metabolites suggested that[Ruminococcus]gauvreauii group could inhibit the energy supply of serum tryptophan to MPY by milk S-lactoylglutathione,which could enhance pyruvate metabolism.Norank_f_Ruminococcaceae could increase the ruminal L-tyrosine,which could provide the substrate for MPY.Conclusion Our results indicated that the represented enterotype genera of Prevotella and Ruminococcus,and the hub genera of[Ruminococcus]gauvreauii group and norank_f_Ruminococcaceae could regulate milk protein synthesis by affecting the ruminal L-tyrosine and L-tryptophan.Moreover,the combined analysis of enterotype,WGCNA and SEM could be used to connect rumen microbial metabolism with host metabolism,which provides a fundamental understanding of the crosstalk between host and microorganisms in regulating the synthesis of milk composition.Chenguang Zhang Mengya Wang Huifeng Liu Xingwei Jiang Xiaodong Chen Tao Liu Qingyan Yin Yue Wang Lu Deng Junhu Yao Shengru Wu 2023Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,6:1

8Field-effect at electrical contacts to two-dimensional materials显示文摘The inferior electrical contact to two-dimensional(2D)materials is a critical challenge for their application in post-silicon very large-scale integrated circuits.Electrical contacts were generally related to their resistive effect,quantified as contact resistance.With a systematic investigation,this work demonstrates a capacitive metal-insulator-semiconductor(MIS)field-effect at the electrical contacts to 2D materials:The field-effect depletes or accumulates charge carriers,redistributes the voltage potential,and gives rise to abnormal current saturation and nonlinearity.On one hand,the current saturation hinders the devices’driving ability,which can be eliminated with carefully engineered contact configurations.On the other hand,by introducing the nonlinearity to monolithic analog artificial neural network circuits,the circuits’perception ability can be significantly enhanced,as evidenced using a coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)critical illness prediction model.This work provides a comprehension of the field-effect at the electrical contacts to 2D materials,which is fundamental to the design,simulation,and fabrication of electronics based on 2D materials.Yao Guo Yan Sun Alvin Tang Ching-Hua Wang Yanqing Zhao Mengmeng Bai Shuting Xu Zheqi Xu Tao Tang Sheng Wang Chenguang Qiu Kang Xu Xubiao Peng Junfeng Han Eric Pop Yang Chai 2021Nano Research2021,14,12:0
9A New Criterion for Defining Inhomogeneous Slope Failure Using the Strength Reduction Method显示文摘A new variational method treating the system as a whole with rigorous mathematical and physical derivation was presented in this paper.Combined with classical and engineering examples,variational energy expressions of slopes were derived.In addition,the calculation programs were written in the FISH language set in FLAC3D(fast Lagrangian analysis of continua in three dimensions)software.Factors of safety(FOSs)of the models were determined by the variational method based on the strength reduction method(SRM)and then compared with other criteria or methods.The result showed that the variational method reflected the process of slope plasticity and failure uniformly and was feasible to analyze the stability of inhomogeneous slopes.The method was applicable to both two-dimensional and three-dimensional heterogeneous slopes.The small error with other criteria or methods also showed the accuracy of this method.This method unified other criteria,avoided the artificial error of other criteria,and provided a logical derivation for the instability of heterogeneous slope.This method considered the system as a whole and avoided the shortcomings of the general method of one-sided instability analysis.The proposed method is of great significance as it considers the coupling effect of stress and strain of materials and gives the mechanical basis for the instability of complex slopes.Chengya Hua Leihua Yao Chenguang Song Qihang Ni Dongfang Chen 2022Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,8:0
10Epitaxial van der Waals contacts for low schottky barrier MoS_(2) field effect transistors显示文摘Small contact resistance and low Schottky barrier height(SBH)are the keys to energy-efficient electronics and optoelectronics.Two-dimensional(2D)semiconductors-based field effect transistors(FETs),holding great promise for next-generation information circuits,still suffer from poor contact quality at the metal–semiconductor junction interface,which severely hinders their further applications.Here,a novel contact strategy is proposed,where Bi_(2)Te_(3)nanosheets with high conductivity were in-situ epitaxially grown on MoS_(2)as van der Waals contacts,which can effectively avoid the damage to MoS_(2)caused during the device manufacturing process,leading to a high-performance MoS_(2)FET.Moreover,the small work function difference between Bi_(2)Te_(3)and MoS_(2)(Bi_(2)Te_(3):4.31 eV,MoS_(2):4.37 eV,measured by Kelvin probe force microscopy(KPFM)),enables small band bending and Ohmic contact at the junction interface.Electrical characterizations indicate that the MoS_(2)FET device with Bi_(2)Te_(3)contacts possesses a high current on/off ratio(5×107),large effective carrier mobility(90 cm^(2)/(V·s)),and low flat-band SBH(60 meV),which is favorable as compared with MoS_(2)FET with traditional Cr/Au electrodes contacts,and superior to the vast majority of the reported chemical vapor deposition(CVD)MoS_(2)-based FET device.The demonstration of epitaxial van der Waals Bi_(2)Te_(3)contacts will facilitate the application of 2D MoS_(2)nanosheet in next-generation low-power consumption electronics and optoelectronics.Huawei Liu Lizhen Fang Xiaoli Zhu Chenguang Zhu Xingxia Sun Gengzhao Xu Biyuan Zheng Ying Liu Ziyu Luo Hui Wang Chengdong Yao Dong Li Anlian Pan 2023Nano Research2023,16,9:0
11Novel phthalimides regulating PD-1/PD-L1 interaction as potential immunotherapy agents显示文摘Programmed cell death 1(PD-1)/programmed cell death ligand 1(PD-L1)have emerged as one of the most promising immune checkpoint targets for cancer immunotherapy.Despite the inherent advantages of small-molecule inhibitors over antibodies,the discovery of small-molecule inhibitors has fallen behind that of antibody drugs.Based on docking studies between small molecule inhibitor and PD-L1 protein,changing the chemical linker of inhibitor from a flexible chain to an aromatic ring may improve its binding capacity to PD-L1 protein,which was not reported before.A series of novel phthalimide derivatives from structure-based rational design was synthesized.P39 was identified as the best inhibitor with promising activity,which not only inhibited PD-1/PD-L1 interaction(IC_(50)=8.9 nmol/L),but also enhanced killing efficacy of immune cells on cancer cells.Co-crystal data demonstrated that P39 induced the dimerization of PD-L1 proteins,thereby blocking the binding of PD-1/PD-L1.Moreover,P39 exhibited a favorable safety profile with a LD_(50)>5000 mg/kg and showed significant in vivo antitumor activity through promoting CD8^(+)T cell activation.All these data suggest that P39 acts as a promising small chemical inhibitor against the PD-1/PD-L1 axis and has the potential to improve the immunotherapy efficacy of T-cells.Chengliang Sun Yao Cheng Xiaojia Liu Gefei Wang Wenjian Min Xiao Wang Kai Yuan Yi Hou Jiaxing Li Haolin Zhang Haojie Dong Liping Wang Chenguang Lou Yanze Sun Xinmiao Yu Hongbin Deng Yibei Xiao Peng Yang 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,12:0
12Studies on the rheological, phase morphologic, thermal and mechanical properties of poly(trimethylene terephthalate)/ ethylene propylene diene monomer copolymer grafted with maleic anhydride/metallocene polyethylene blends显示文摘The rheological,phase morphologic,thermal andmechanicalpropertiesofpoly(trimethyleneterephthalate)/metallocene polyethylene(PTT/mPE)blends in the presence of ethylene propylene diene monomer copolymer grafted with maleic anhydride(EPDM-g-MAH)as compatibilizer are studied by means of a capillary rheometer,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)and thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA).Results suggest that the compatibility of PTT/mPE blends is improved greatly after the addition of a compatibilizer.The radius of the dispersed phase in the system decreases greatly when the compatibilizer is added into the blend.When the amount of compatibilizer exceeds 8 wt-%,the size of dispersed phase becomes larger again.This phenomena could be attributed to the higher viscosity of the EPDM-g-MAH phase,which is dispersed more difficulty in the PTT phase of lower viscosity,thus the mixing efficiency is apparently decreased during the melt blending process.Moreover,the melt viscosity of the blend reaches the maximal value in case of 4 wt-%compati-bilizer content,above which it would decrease again.This result is associated with the generation of more and bigger dispersed phase inside the bulk phase,thus the grafting efficiency at the interface is decreased,which could result in lower viscosity.The DSC results suggest that the mPE component shows a nucleating effect,and could increase the overall degree and rate of PTT crystallization,while the addition of a compatibilizer might slightly diminish these effects.In addition,the blend with 4 wt-%compatibilizer shows the best thermal stability.Furthermore,the Izod impact strength and the tensile strength at room temperature of the blend are also markedly improved by the addition of a 4–8 wt-%compatibilizer.RUN Mingtao SONG Hongzan WANG Yingjin YAO Chenguang GAO Jungang 2007Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2007,1,3:0
