| 1 | Computer Aided Simulation on Precision Cold Forging of Universal Joint Cross显示文摘The 3D FEM numerical simulation on multi-action precision cold forging technology of universal joint cross and differential spider is done in this article using DEFORM Software, a commercial computer aided engineering software specializing in forming and heat treatment simulation technology, and suitable for cold, warm and hot forging process. The material flow properties, the dynamic variation of stress and strain in the process of deformation and the load-stroke curve have also been achieved. A good consistency is exhibited between simulation results and practical data. Based on the DEFORM simulation results, the optimized procedure has been found for forging a universal joint cross. What should be emphasized here is that a better understanding of practical forging characters and the environmental factors can greatly improve the simulation accuracy thus make the simulation results more reliable. | H. | 2 | An analytical solution for the elastic fields near spheroidal nano-inclusions显示文摘When the size of an inclusion shrinks to nanometers,interface energy plays an important role in the deformationaround it. In the present paper, we consider the effect ofinterface energy on the elastic fields near a spheroidal nano-inclusionembedded in an elastic medium on the basis of surfaceelasticity theory. Using Boussinesq-Sadowsky potentialfunction method, we obtain the deformation field near theinclusion subjected to a uniformly uniaxial loading at infinity.The results show that the elastic fields near the nano-inclu-siondepend strongly on the interface properties, the size andshape of inclusion. | 5 | Investigation of the crack problem in non-local piezoelectric materials under combined electromechanical loadings显示文摘The present investigation of the crack problem inpiezoelectric materials is performed based on the non-localtheory.After some manipulations,the impermeable crack,the permeable crack(the crack gap is full of NaCI solution),and the semi-permeable crack(the crack gap is full of air orsilicon oil)are reduced to a uniform formulation by assum-ing the normal electric displacement on the crack surfaces tobe an unknown variable.Thus,a triple integral equation withthe unknown normal electric displacement is established.Byusing the Newton iterative method and solving the triple inte-gral equation,it is found that the normal electric displacementon the crack surfaces is no longer a constant as determinedby previous studies,rather,it depends upon the remote com-bined electromechanical loadings.Numerical results of thestresses and electric displacement fields show that there areno singularities at the crack tips so that the stresses remainfinite.It is of great significance that the concrete electricboundary condition on the crack surfaces exerts significantinfluence on the near-tip fields and in this way plays an impor-tant role in evaluating the crack stability in the non-localpiezoelectric materials.More specifically,the impermeablecrack model always overestimates the finite stresses at thecrack tips,whereas the permeable crack model always under-estimates them. | Q. | 6 | STUDY ON GREY FORECASTING MODEL OF COPPER EXTRACTION RATE WITH BIOLEACHING OF PRIMARY SULFIDE ORE显示文摘A model GM(grey model)(1,1) for forecasting the rate of copper extraction during the bioleaching of primary sulphide ore was established on the basis of the mathematical theory and the modeling process of grey system theory. It was used for forecasting the rate of copper extraction from the primary sulfide ore during a laboratory microbial column leaching experiment. The precision of the forecasted results were examined and modified via 'posterior variance examination'. The results show that the forecasted values coincide with the experimental values. GM(1,1) model has high forecast accuracy;and it is suitable for simulation control and prediction analysis of the original data series of the processes that have grey characteristics,such as mining,metallurgical and mineral processing,etc. The leaching rate of such copper sulphide ore is low. In the first stage of the re- search, an isothermal compressive experiment using Thermecmastor - Z hot simulator is studied to ac- quire the flow stress at different deformation temperature,equivalent strain and equivalent strain rate. Then,a feed - forward neural network is trained by using the experimental data.After the training process is finished, the neural networks become a knowledge-based constitutive relationship system. Comparison of the predicted and experimental results results shows that the neural network model has good le- arning precision and good generalization.The neural neural network methods are found to show much better agreement than existing methods with the experiment data, and have the advantage of being able to deal with noisy for or data with strong non - linear reationships.
