1A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. 2Spatial distribution patterns of Symplocos congeners in a subtropical evergreen broad-leaf forest of southern China显示文摘Studies on spatial distribution of congeneric species can supplement our understanding of species ecological processes. We analyzed population structure, spatial distribution, intra-and interspecific associations among six Symplocos tree species on a large(50 ha) plot in a subtropical, evergreen broad-leaf forest in southern China using spatial point pattern analysis methods. Our results suggested that the six Symplocos tree species were all clustered at small scales. The aggregation intensity of S. wikstroemiifolia with low abundance but relatively numerous large-diameter trees was much higher than that of the other five Symplocos species that occurred at high abundance but included few large-diameter trees. Spatial associations among the six congeners showed that 12 of 30 pairs were associated positively at small scales, and 13 of 30 pairs were unrelated. For species among different size classes, 79 of 120 pairs were not correlated, and 17 of 120 pairs were associated positively. These results showed insufficient evidence for interspecific competition and congeneric Symplocos species commonly coexist within subtropical plant communities. 3FY-3A/MERSI, ocean color algorithm, products and demonstrative applications显示文摘A medium resolution spectral imager (MERSI) on-board the first spacecraft of the second generation of China's polar-orbit meteorological satellites FY-3A, is a MODIS-like sensor with 20 bands covering visible to thermal infrared spectral region. FY-3A/MERSI is capable of making continuous global observations, and ocean color application is one of its main targets. The objective is to provide information about the ocean color products of FY-3A/MERSI, including sensor calibration, ocean color algorithms, ocean color products validation and applications. Although there is a visible on-board calibration device, it cannot realize the on-board absolute radiometric calibration in the reflective solar bands. A multisite vicarious calibration method is developed, and used for monitoring the in-flight response change and providing post-launch calibration coefficients updating. FY-3A/MERSI ocean color products consist of the water-leaving reflectance retrieved from an atmospheric correction algorithm, a chlorophyll a concentration (CHL1) and a pigment concentration (PIG1) from global empirical models, the chlorophyll a concentration (CHL2), a total suspended mater concentration (TSM) and the absorption coefficient of CDOM and NAP (YS443) from China's regional empirical models. The atmospheric correction algorithm based on lookup tables and ocean color components concentration estimation models are described. By comparison with in situ data, the FY-3A/MERSI ocean color products have been validated and preliminary results are presented. 5Petrological and Geochemical Constraints on the Protoliths of Serpentine-Magnetite Ores in the Zhaoanzhuang Iron Deposit,Southern North China Craton显示文摘The uncommon Mg-rich and Ti-poor Zhaoanzhuang serpentine-magnetite ores within Taihua Group of the North China Craton(NCC) remain unclear whether the protolith was sourced from ultramafic rocks or chemical sedimentary sequences. Here we present integrated petrographic and geochemical studies to characterize the protoliths and to gain insights on the ore-forming processes. Iron ores mainly contain low-Ti magnetite(TiO_2 ~0.1 wt%) and serpentine(Mg#=92.42–96.55), as well as residual olivine(Fo=89–90), orthopyroxene(En=89–90) and hornblende. Magnetite in the iron ores shows lower Al, Sc, Ti, Cr, Zn relative to that from ultramafic Fe-Ti-V iron ores, but similar to that from metamorphic chemical sedimentary iron deposit. In addition, interstitial minerals of dolomite, calcite, apatite and anhydrite are intergrown with magnetite and serpentine, revealing they were metamorphic, but not magmatic or late hydrothermal minerals. Wall rocks principally contain magnesian silicates of olivine(Fo=83–87), orthopyroxene(En=82–86), humite(Mg#=82–84) and hornblende [XMg=0.87–0.96]. Dolomite, apatite and anhydrite together with minor magnetite, thorianite(Th-rich oxide) and monazite(LREE-rich phosphate) are often seen as relicts or inclusions within magnesian silicates in the wall rocks, revealing that they were primary or earlier metamorphic minerals than magnesian silicates. And olivine exists as subhedral interstitial texture between hornblende, which shows later formation of olivine than hornblende and does not conform with sequence of magmatic crystallization. All these mineralogical features thus bias towards their metamorphic, rather than magmatic origin. The dominant chemical components of the iron ores are SiO_2(4.77–25.23 wt%), Fe_2O_3 T(32.9–80.39 wt%) and MgO(5.72–27.17 wt%) and uniformly, those of the wall rocks are also SiO_2(16.34–48.72 wt%), Mg O(16.71–33.97 wt%) and Fe_2O_3 T(6.98–30.92 wt%). The striking high Fe-Mg-Si contents reveal that protolith of the Zhaoanzhuang iron deposit was more likely to be chemical sedimentary rocks. The distinct high-Mg feature and presence of abundant anhydrite possibly indicate it primarily precipitated in a confined seawater basin under an evaporitic environment. Besides, higher contents of Al, Ti, P, Th, U, Pb, REE relative to other Precambrian iron-rich chemical precipitates(BIF) suggest some clastic terrestrial materials were probably input. 7Mechanical Properties of Laser Welded Joints of High Volume Fraction SiCp/Al Aluminum Matrix Composite显示文摘High volume fraction SiCp/Al aluminum matrix composite possesses a variety of outstanding properties,such as high thermal conductivity and low coefficient of thermal expansion.It is widely applied in many fields,especially in automotive and aerospace.An orthogonal experiment is conducted to study the effects of relevant parameters on the mechanical properties by CO2 laser.Then the micro-hardness in different regions is measured.The effects of such parameters as laser power,middle layer thickness and welding speed on the tensile strength of the welded joints are discussed.The experimental results indicate that the maximum of the tensile strength of the welded joints is attained at the laser power of 1 200 W,the welding speed of 1.5 m/min and the middle layer thickness of 0.3 mm.In addition,the mechanism of the improvement of micro-hardness on the weld bead is also analyzed.Hao Xiuqing Li Liang Song Xiaolu Wu Qiao 2018Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2018,35,3:1
8Wide-field aurora imager onboard Fengyun satellite:Data products and validation显示文摘New observations of auroras based on the wide-field aurora imager(WAI)onboard Fengyun-3D(FY-3D)satellite are exhibited in this paper.Validity of the WAI data is analyzed by comparing auroral boundaries derived from WAI observations with results obtained from data collected by the Special Sensor Ultraviolet Spectrographic Imager(SSUSI)aboard the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program(DMSP F18).Dynamic variations of the aurora with the solar wind,interplanetary magnetic field(IMF)parameters,and the SYM-H index are also investigated.The comparison of auroral boundaries indicates that the WAI data are morphologically valid and suitable to the study of auroral dynamics.Effective responses to solar wind parameters indicate that the WAI data can be useful to monitor and predict the Earth’s space weather.Since the configuration of aurora is a good indicator of the solar wind–magnetosphere–ionosphere(SW-M-I)coupling system,and can reflect the disturbance of the space environment,the WAI will provide important data to help us to study the physical processes in space.GuangXing Ding JiaWei Li XiaoXin Zhang Fei He LingPing He KeFei Song Liang Sun Shuang Dai ShiJie Liu Bo Chen Chao Yu XiuQing Hu SongYan Gu ZhongDong Yang Peng Zhang 2021Earth and Planetary Physics2021,5,1:1
9Experimental Study of Aqueous Humor Flow in a Transparent Anterior Segment Phantom by Using PIV Technique显示文摘Pupillary block is considered as an important cause of primary angle-closure glaucoma(PACG).In order to investigate the effect of pupillary block on the hydrodynamics of aqueous humor(AH)in anterior chamber(AC)and potential risks,a 3D printed eye model was developed to mimic the AH flow driven by fluid generation,the differential pressure between AC and posterior chambers(PC)and pupillary block.Particle image velocimetry technology was applied to visualize flow distribution.The results demonstrated obvious differences in AH flow with and without pupillary block.Under the normal condition(without pupillary block),the flow filed of AH was nearly symmetric in the AC.The highest flow velocity located at the central of AC when the differential pressure between AC and PC was under 5.83 Pa,while it appeared near the cornea and iris surface when the differential pressure was greater than 33.6 Pa.Once pupillary block occurred,two asymmetric vortices with different sizes were observed and the shear stress in the paracentral cornea and iris epithelium increased greatly.It can be concluded that the pupillary block and the elevated differential pressure between AC and PC could change the flow distribution and thus increase the risk of corneal endothelial cells detachment.This study could make a further understanding of the pathogenesis of PACG.Wenjia Wang Xiuqing Qian Qi Li Gong Zhang Huangxuan Zhao Tan Li Yang Yu Hongfang Song Zhicheng Liu 2019Molecular & Cellular Biomechanics2019,16,1:1

12Study on the Crustal Velocity Model of Xinjiang and Its Subareas显示文摘In this paper,we firstly analyze the '3,400 travel time table 'used for a long time in Xinjiang Seismological Network to obtain the velocity structure models in accord with the table by fitting. Then we fit the velocity of all seismic phases recorded in Xinjiang region in January 2009 ~ December 2013. Simulation analysis is done on the reliability and stability of the velocities,and a concept is proposed for building subarea crustal velocity models according to partitioning of seismic cluster regions. 13Study on the Precise Location of the Xinjiang Yutian M_S7.3 Earthquake显示文摘The seismic waveform of the Yutian MS7.3 earthquake,Xinjiang on February 12,2014 was recorded clearly and completely by the Digital Seismic Networks of Xinjiang,Qinghai,Tibet,and Xinjiang Hotan array,so the method of joint location by regional seismic network and seismic array can be used to accurately determine the earthquake source location.The following technologies were used in the process of location:(1) We selected seismic stations equally located around the epicenter of the MS7.3 earthquake with an average interval of about 15 degrees in the initial location.(2) The recording waveforms of Yutian seismic station were rotated to the radial and tangential directions to precisely obtain the arrival time of S-waves to determine the epicentral distance.(3) The velocity model was used in the determination of location of the epicenter,based on the historical records of earthquakes in the area within a radius of 1.0° from the source as the center,and the velocity model is obtained after re-fitting and calibration.(4) Based on the waveform records of the Hotan seismic array,the method of waveform beaming was used to determine the azimuths and perform the correction of the epicenter location with these azimuths.(5) The deterministic method was used to measure the source depth.Finally,it is concluded that the Yutian MS7.3 main shock hypocenter location is 36.197°N,82.467°E,focal depth 12 km and original time 17:19:48.2 p.m.February 12,2014.Zhan Xiaoyan Song Xiuqing Chen Xiangjun Wang Jun Miao Fajun Liu Shuangqing Zhu Yuanqing 2015Earthquake Research in China2015,29,1:0

15In situ synthesized homochiral dysprosium-oxo clusters with threonine Schiff bases显示文摘Chiral high-nuclearity lanthanide(4f)clusters have shown fantastic properties in various fields.However,their synthesis is still of great challenge.Herein,we report two pairs of enantiomers of highnuclearity Dy-oxo clusters synthesized through in situ strategy.They are[Dy18(^(R/S)Hftp)4(^(R/S)H_(2)btp)4(μ2-OH)_(8)(μ3-OH)20(μ6-O)(NO_(3))_(4)(μ-H_(2)O)_(8)]·[solvents](1R and 1S)and[Dy9(^(R/S)Hftp)2(^(R/S)H_(2)btp)_(2)(OAc)_(6)(μ3-OH)_(10)(H_(2)O)_(6)](OAc)·[solvents](2R and 2S),where^(R/S)Hftp2−and^(R/S)H_(2)btp^(3−)represent in situ formed 2-formyl-6-[N-(threonine)iminomethyl]-4-methylphenol and 2,6-bis[N-(threonine)iminomethyl]-4-methylphenol anions,respectively.These in situ formed clusters were endowed with not only homochirality via introducing^(R/S)Hftp2−and^(R/S)H_(2)btp^(3−)ligands,but also rich oxo-bridges by controlling the hydrolysis of Dy^(III)ions.Different anions from DyIII salts further induced structural variation between two sets of clusters.1R and 1S feature an unprecedent four-blade propeller shaped{Dy18}core,whose centered octahedral{Dy6}unit are surrounded by four triangular{Dy3}units.Strikingly,they represent the second largest chiral 4f cluster species so far.2R and 2S display a sandglass-like{Dy9}skeleton that consist of two square pyramid{Dy5}units sharing a Dy^(III)vertex.Magnetic investigation revealed possible antiferromagnetic interactions between the Dy^(III)centers in these clusters.Song Peng Xiaoming Ouyang Yihan Wang Qinghu Teng Yan Li Xiuqing Zhang Zhaobo Hu Kai Wang Fupei Liang 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,8:0

17Study on the Recurrence Probability of Strong Earthquakes of Faults显示文摘Based on the physical model of Brownian passage time,the probabilities of recurrence of strong earthquakes on the major active faults in China are calculated in different predictive time spans,based mainly on the analysis of the earthquake preparation process before a strong earthquake occurs. Furthermore,the seismic risks on active faults are studied. The results show that the earthquake probabilities on the Xianshuihe fault,the Altyn Tagh fault,the east Kunlun fault and Xiaojiang fault are significantly greater than other faults in the Chinese mainland,which indicates that the level of stress accumulation on these faults are higher than on other faults. 18A New Post-hoc Flat Field Measurement Method for the Solar X-Ray and Extreme Ultraviolet Imager Onboard the FengYun-3E Satellite显示文摘Extreme ultraviolet(EUV)observations are widely used in solar activity research and space weather forecasting since they can observe both the solar eruptions and the source regions of the solar wind.Flat field processing is indispensable to remove the instrumental non-uniformity of a solar EUV imager in producing high-quality scientific data from original observed data.FengYun-3E(FY-3E)is a meteorological satellite operated in a Sunsynchronous orbit,and the routine EUV imaging data from the Solar X-ray and Extreme Ultraviolet Imager(X-EUVI)onboard FY-3E has the characteristic of concentric rotation.Taking advantage of the concentric rotation,we propose a post-hoc flat field measurement method for its EUV 195A channel in this paper.This method removes the small-scale and time-varying component of coronal activities by taking the median value for each pixel along the time axis of a concentric rotation data cube,and then derives the large-scale and invariable component of the quiet coronal radiation,and finally generates a flat field image.The flat field can be generated with cadences from hundreds of minutes(one orbit)to several days.Higher flat field accuracy can be achieved by employing more data.Further analysis shows that our method is able to measure the instrumental spot-like nonuniformity possibly caused by contamination on the detector,which mostly disappears after the in-orbit selfcleaning process.It can also measure the quasi-periodic grid-like non-uniformity,possibly from the obscuration of the support mesh on the rear filter.After flat field correction,these instrumental non-uniformities from the original data are effectively removed.Moreover,the X-EUVI 195A data after dark and flat field corrections are consistent with the 193A imaging data from the Atmospheric Imaging Assembly onboard the Solar Dynamics Observatory,verifying the suitability of the method.The post-hoc method does not occupy observation time,which is advantageous for space weather operations.Our method is not only suitable for FY-3E/X-EUVI but also a candidate method for the flat field measurement of future solar EUV telescopes.Qiao Song Xianyong Bai Bo Chen Xiuqing Hu Yajie Chen Zhenyong Hou Xiaofan Zhang Lingping He Kefei Song Peng Zhang Jing-Song Wang Xiaoxin Zhang Weiguo Zong Jinping Dun Hui Tian Yuanyong Deng 2022Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2022,22,10:0
