4Optimal allocation of multi-sensor passive localization显示文摘To improve multi-sensor passive localization precision,the optimal allocation form of multi-sensor bearing-only localization is analyzed from the perspective of the geometric dilution of precision(GDOP) of the least squares(LS) algorithm.This paper indicates that whether the target lies inside the closed region formed by the sensors or not,the optimal allocation is when each adjacent cut angle between a sensor pair is identical,and all sensors are located on the border of the circle that has the target(which is also the origin of the coordinate system) as its center.When there is no restriction on the adjacent cut angle in the above allocation,the optimal estimate of the LS algorithm in the sense of minimum variance can be acquired.When the LS algorithm achieves the optimal estimate and the sensors present the optimal allocation,the respective consistencies are analyzed.Simulation results verify the analysis of the optimal allocation form above,which can be used in multi-sensor passive localization algorithms based on sensor management.WANG BenCai HE You WANG GuoHong XIU JianJuan 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,12:11
5Study on Wireless Power Transmission for Gastrointestinal Microsystems Based on Inductive Coupling显示文摘Wireless power transmission based on inductive coupling for remotely implanted micro devices has been considered in this paper. The receiving coil, integrated in microsystems and the external transmitting coil compose a loosely coupled transformer. The coupling coefficient was calculated and measured on spacing misalignments. The geometric size of transmitting coil was analyzed for the target of remotely delivering power. The received power was maximized by choosing appropriate value of frequency, tuning capacitance and the load resistance. A conventional full bridge rectifier circuit was employed to convert ac to dc voltage. The received dc power was up to 160 mW with a transmitting voltage of 5 Vrms when the receiving coil was placed at the center of the transmitting coil. 7Regional Characteristics and Causes of Haze Events in Northeast China显示文摘Northeast China experiences severe atmospheric pollution, with an increasing occurrence of heavy haze episodes. However, the underlying forces driving haze formation during different seasons are poorly understood. In this study, we explored the spatio-temporal characteristics and causes of haze events in Northeast China by combining a range of data sources(i.e., ground monitoring, satellite-based products, and meteorological products). It was found that the ‘Shenyang-Changchun-Harbin(SCH)'city belt was the most polluted area in the region on an annual scale. The spatial distribution of air quality index(AQI) values had a clear seasonality, with the worst pollution occurring in winter, an approximately oval-shaped polluted area around western Jilin Province in spring, and the best air quality occurring in summer and most of the autumn. The three periods that typically experienced intense haze events were Period I from mid-October to mid-November(i.e., late autumn and early winter), Period II from late-December to February(i.e., the coldest time in winter), and Period III from April to mid-May(i.e., spring). During Period I, strong PM_(2.5) emissions from seasonal crop residue burning and coal burning for winter heating were the dominant reasons for the occurrence of extreme haze events(AQI > 300). Period II had frequent heavy haze events(200 < AQI < 300) in the coldest months of January and February, which were due to high PM_(2.5) emissions from coal burning and vehicle fuel consumption, a lower atmospheric boundary layer, and stagnant atmospheric conditions. Haze events in Period III, with high PM_(10) concentrations, were primarily caused by the regional transportation of windblown dust from degraded grassland in central Inner Mongolia and bare soil in western Jilin Province. Local agricultural tilling could also release PM_(10) and enhance the levels of windblown dust from tilled soil. 8Connective tissue growth factor is overexpressed in human hepatocellular carcinoma and promotes cell invasion and growth显示文摘AIM:To determine the expression characteristics of connective tissue growth factor(CTGF/CCN2) in human hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) in histology and to elucidate the roles of CCN2 on hepatoma cell cycle progression and metastasis in vitro.METHODS:Liver samples from 36 patients(who underwent hepatic resection for the first HCC between 2006 and 2011) and 6 normal individuals were examined for transforming growth factor β1(TGF-β1) or CCN2 mRNA by in situ hybridization.Computer image analysis was performed to measure integrated optimal density of CCN2 mRNA-positive cells in carcinoma foci and the surrounding stroma.Fibroblast-specific protein-1(FSP-1) and E-cadherin were examined to evaluate the process of epithelial to mesenchymal transition,α-smooth muscle actin and FSP-1 were detected to identify hepatic stellate cells,and CD34 was measured to evaluate the extent of vascularization in liver tissues by immunohistochemical staining.CCN2 was assessed for its stimulation of HepG2 cell migration and invasion using commercial kits while flow cytometry was used to determine CCN2 effects on HepG2 cell-cycle.RESULTS:In situ hybridization analysis showed that TGF-β1 mRNA was mainly detected in connective tissues and vasculature around carcinoma foci.In comparison to normal controls,CCN2 mRNA was enhanced 1.9-fold in carcinoma foci(12.36 ± 6.08 vs 6.42 ± 2.35) or 9.4-fold in the surrounding stroma(60.27 ± 28.71 vs 6.42 ± 2.35),with concomitant expression of CCN2 and TGF-β1 mRNA in those areas.Epithelial-mesenchymal transition phenotype related with CCN2 was detected in 12/36(33.3%) of HCC liver samples at the edges between carcinoma foci and vasculature.Incubation of HepG2 cells with CCN2(100 ng/mL) resulted in more of the cells transitioning into S phase(23.85 ± 2.35 vs 10.94 ± 0.23),and induced a significant migratory(4.0-fold) and invasive(5.7-fold) effect.TGF-β1-induced cell invasion was abrogated by a neutralizing CCN2 antibody showing that CCN2 is a downstream mediator of TGF-β1-induced hepatoma cell invasion.CONCLUSION:These data support a role for CCN2 in the growth and metastasis of HCC and highlight CCN2 as a potential novel therapeutic target.Ming Xiu Ya-Hui Liu David R Brigstock Fang-Hui He Rui-Juan Zhang Run-Ping Gao 2012World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,47:7

14Effect of Electric Potentials on Microstructure, Corrosion and Wear Characteristic of the Nitrided Layer Prepared on 2Cr13 Stainless Steel by Plasma Nitriding显示文摘Plasma nitriding is a widely used technology to enhance the surface performance and extend the service life of alloy parts.The current research mainly focuses on the influences of time,temperature,gas type and pressure parameters on nitriding behavior,while fewer studies have been conducted on the electric potential.This paper mainly reports the effect of the electric potential on nitriding behavior.Test conditions were set using cathodic,anodic and floating potentials in a plasma nitriding furnace.2Cr13 stainless steel was nitrided at 450°C for 5h in an NH3 atmosphere.The experimental results show that the nitriding treatment can be well performed under the different electric potentials,but differences exist in microstructures,morphologies and performance results of the modified layers.The thickness and hardness values of the nitrided layer are ranked as follows:cathodic[anodic[floating potential.The anodic nitrided surface has an obvious particle deposition layer composed of nitrides and oxides.Electrochemical and tribological experiments show that the corrosion resistance and wear resistance were significantly improved after a nitriding treatment using the three electric potentials.Moreover,the floating nitriding treatment resulted in the best tribological performance and corrosion resistance.Yang Li Shang-Zhou Zhang Jian-Xun Qiu Yong-Yong He Jun-Jie Xiu Qian-Wen Ye Zhong-Li Liu 2019Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2019,32,6:5
15Bone Loss Induced by Simulated Microgravity,Ionizing Radiation and/or Ultradian Rhythms in the Hindlimbs of Rats显示文摘Objective To better understand the pathological causes of bone loss in a space environment, including microgravity, ionizing radiation, and ultradian rhythms. Methods Sprague Dawley(SD) rats were randomly divided into a baseline group, a control group, a hindlimb suspension group, a radiation group, a ultradian rhythms group and a combined-three-factor group. After four weeks of hindlimb suspension followed by X-ray exposure and/or ultradian rhythms, biomechanical properties, bone mineral density, histological analysis, microstructure parameters, and bone turnover markers were detected to evaluate bone loss in hindlimbs of rats. Results Simulated microgravity or combined-three factors treatment led to a significant decrease in the biomechanical properties of bones, reduction in bone mineral density, and deterioration of trabecular parameters. Ionizing radiation exposure also showed adverse impact while ultradian rhythms had no significant effect on these outcomes. Decrease in the concentration of the turnover markers bone alkaline phosphatase(b ALP), osteocalcin(OCN), and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase-5 b(TRAP-5 b) in serum was in line with the changes in trabecular parameters. Conclusion Simulated microgravity is the main contributor of bone loss. Radiation also results in deleterious effects but ultradian rhythms has no significant effect. 16Dependence of Mixed Aerosol Light Scattering Extinction on Relative Humidity in Beijing and Hong Kong显示文摘The hygroscopic properties of mixed aerosol particles are crucial for the application of remote sensing products of aerosol optical parameters in the study of air quality and climate at multiple scales. In this study, the authors investigated aerosol optical properties as a function of relative humidity (RH) for two representative metropolises: Beijing and Hong Kong. In addition to the RH data, mass concentrations of PM 10 (particulate matter up to 10 μm in diameter) and aerosol scattering extinction coefficient (σ ext ) data were used. The relationship between the mass scattering extinction efficiency (MEE, defined as σ ext /PM 10 ) and RH can be expressed by regression functions as f = 1.52x + 0.29 (r2 = 0.77), f = 1.42x + 1.53 (r2 = 0.58), f = 1.19x + 0.65 (r2 = 0.59), and f = 1.58x + 1.30 (r2 = 0.61) for spring, summer, autumn, and winter, respectively, in Beijing. Here, f represents MEE, x represents 1/(1 RH), and the coefficients of determination are pre- sented in parentheses. Conversely, in Hong Kong, the corresponding functions are f = 1.98x 1.40 (r2 = 0.55), f = 1.32x 0.36 (r2 = 0.26), f = 1.87x 0.65 (r2 = 0.64), and f = 2.39x 1.47 (r2 = 0.72), respectively. The MEE values for Hong Kong at high RHs (RH > 70%) are higher than those for Beijing, except in summer; this suggests that aerosols in Hong Kong are more hygroscopic than those in Beijing for the other three seasons, but the aerosol hygroscopicity is similarly high in summer over both cities. 18Malnutrition Increases the Risk of Mortality in Hospitalized Lung Cancer Patients显示文摘Background The Global Leadership Initiative on Malnutrition(GLIM)recently developed a new set of diagnostic criteria for identifying patients with malnutrition.Because the GLIM criteria were only introduced a little over 3 years ago,additional validation and reliability testing are needed in a variety of populations.Methods We performed an observational,multicenter cohort study.From July 2013 to October 2018,lung cancer patients were recruited from the Daping Hospital of Army Medical University and the First Hospital of Jilin University as part of the INSCOC project.Previously-established cut-off values for the calf circumference(CC,male<30 cm,female<29.5 cm)were applied as the reduced muscal mass of phenotypic criteria to establish the GLIM diagnosis.Multivariate Cox regression analyses were performed to analyze the association between the GLIM criteria and survival.Results A total of 1219 patients with lung cancer were studied as subjects.Their age was 58.81±9.92 years old,and 820 were male and 399 were female.According to the GLIM diagnostic criteria using the CC as a muscle mass measurement,303 patients(24.9%)were categorized as malnourished,142 patients(23.1%)in the adult group(18≤age<60)and 161 patients(26.7%)in the older group(age≥60 years).The patients with malnutrition had a higher incidence of anemia than the nourished patients(P=0.012).The QLQ-C30 score and KPS score indicating that the malnourished patients had a consistently worse quality of life compared to the nourished group(all P<0.001).The median survival of the malnutrition group was 42(95%CI:34-50)months,which was much shorter than the 62(95%CI:57-66)months in the nourished group(P<0.001).In the adult group,the median survival decreased from 65(95%CI:55-72)months in nourished group to 34(95%CI:25-48)months in the patients with malnutrition(P<0.001).In the older group,it decreased from 61(95%CI:55-67)months to 48(95%CI:39-59)months(P=0.001).A Cox regression analysis showed that GLIM-diagnosed malnutrition was associated with an increased risk of death among adult group(HR=1.670,95%CI:1.29-2.16),older group(HR=1.332,95%CI:1.05-1.69)and overall(HR=1.453,95%CI:1.22-1.72).Conclusion All of these results demonstrate that GLIM-diagnosed malnutrition is associated with a poorer survival for all lung cancer patients,independent of age.Fei Fei Chong Liang Yu Yin Jie Liu Na Li Jing Guo Yang Fan Meng Yuan Zhang Ling Zhang Xiu Mei He Hong Mei Zhang Mu Li Shi Wei Li Hong Xia Xu 2022Journal of Nutritional Oncology2022,7,1:4
19The potential value of microRNA-4463 in the prognosis evaluation in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘The purpose of this study is to measure the expression of microRNA-4463 and microRNA-6087 between normal persons and patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and to clarify the meaning of them in the prognosis evaluation in HCC.Forty-five samples from healthy people and patients,who had been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma before any treatment,were collected to study respectively.Real-time PCR was used to detect the expression of miRNA-4463 and miRNA-6087 in the serum of control group and hepatocellular carcinoma patients.The expression of miR-4463 in the serum of HCC patients was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05),and the expression level was independent of gender,tumor size,cell types,stages,alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),total bilirubin(TBIL)and HBsAg status(P>0.05).But there was a significant difference of different level of AFP in HCC(P<0.05),and the difference between the group of AFP lower than 400 ug/l and the control group is statistically significant(P<0.05).Besides,the survival time had showed a significant difference at the high and low expression levels(P<0.05).But the expression level of miRNA-6087 was no difference in HCC and control group.The disorder of miRNA-4463 occurred in HCC,even the AFP level doesn’t rises.What’s more,patients who get the high level of miRNA-4463 seem to have a shorter survival time.And it contributes great to the prognostic evaluation.This is the first study to illustrate the potential significance of miRNA-4463 in the prognosis in HCC.Tian Hu Jincheng Li Chuhong Zhang Xiu lv Sai Li Sha He Hanxing Yan Yixi Tan Mingsheng Lei Meiling Wen Jianhong Zuo 2017Genes & Diseases2017,4,2:3
