| 1 | A Passive Anti-icing Strategy Based on a Superhydrophobic Mesh with Extremely Low Ice Adhesion Strength显示文摘Although superhydrophobic materials have attracted much research interest in anti-icing,some controversy still exists.In this research,we report a cost-effective method used to verify the contribution of area fraction to ice adhesion strength.We tried to partially-embed siliea nanopnarticles into microscale fabrics of a commercial polyamide mesh.Then,the area fraction could be determined by altering the mesh size.Generally,the ice adhesion strength decreases as the area fraction decreases.An ice adhesion strength of~1.9 kPa and a delayed freezing time of~1048 s can be obtained.We attribute the low ice adhesion strength to the combination of superhydro-phobicity and stress concentration.The superhydrophobicity prohibits the water from penetrating into the voids of the meshes,and the small actual contact area leads to stress concentration which promotes interfacial crack propagation.Moreover,our superhydrophobic mesh simultaneously exhibis a micro-nano hierarchical structure and a partally-cmbedded structure.Therefore,the as-prepared superhydrophobic mesh retained the ieephobicity after 20 icingldeicing cycles,and maintained its superhydrophobicity even afier 60 sandpaper-abrasion cycles and a 220'C thermal treatment. | Peng Wang Ziqiang Li Qing Xie wei Duan Xinchun Zhang Huilong Han | 2021 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2021,18,1: | 9 |
| 2 | Effect of La_2O_3 on microstructure,mechanical and tribological properties of Ni-W coatings显示文摘In this paper, a Ni-W-La2O3 composite coating was prepared by the electrodeposition method. Microhardness tester and environmental scanning electron microscope equipped energy dispersive spectroscopy were employed to investigate the microhardness and the surface morphology of the composite coatings respectively, and the high temperature friction behavior and corrosion resistance of the coatings against molten glass were investigated by using a high temperature tribometer. The results show that La2O3 can refine the microstructure effectively, and make the element distribution uniform, which leads to the increase of average microhardness. La2O3 particulates can reduce the friction coefficient between the composite coating and glass during the sliding process at about 973 K largely, and the corrosion resistance of the La2O3 added Ni-W coatings is effectively improved compared with that of the non-added one, furthermore the mechanism of friction-reducing and anti-corrosion is also discussed. | HAN BaoLei LU XinChun | 2009 | Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,24: | 5 |

| 4 | Effects of Long-Term Fertilization Strategies on Soil Productivity and Soybean Rhizobial Diversity in a Chinese Mollisol显示文摘Rhizobial diversity is affected by interactions between soil features, fertilization strategy, and cropping system. However, interactions among the rhizobial community, chemical-organic manure fertilization, and plant production have not been well documented in Mollisols from long-term experiments. Aimed at maintaining and recovering the productivity of Chinese Mollisols, a long-term fertilization experiment had been carried out for 29 years under a wheat-maize-soybean rotation system, involving the application of recycled organic manure (ROM), chemical fertilizers (N, P, and/or K), or ROM plus N, P, and/or K. In the present study, the effects of different treatments were evaluated by determining soil physicochemical features, soybean production, and soybean rhizobial diversity. The results showed that application of ROM plus NPK maintained or increased soil fertility, which was accompanied by higher production and higher diversity of rhizobia, as compared with the other treatments. The negative association of Bradyrhizobium japonicum with N fertilizer, positive association of B. diazoefficiens with soil pH, and alleviation of N-inhibition on the diversity of Bradyrhizobium by the addition of ROM were recorded as new findings. | 5 | Mobile node aware opportunistic routing in dynamic wireless sensor network显示文摘Opportunistic routing(OR) could adapt to dynamic wireless sensor networks(WSNs) because of its inherent broadcast nature.Most of the existing OR protocols focus on the variations of propagation environment which are caused by channel fading.However, a few works deal with the dynamic scenario with mobile nodes.In this paper, a mobile node(MN) aware OR(MN-OR) is proposed and applied to a WSN in the high-speed railway scenario where the destination node is deployed inside a high speed moving train, and the MN-OR not only considers the mobility of node but also utilizes the candidate waiting time induced by the timer-based coordination scheme.Specifically, to reduce the number of duplicate transmissions and mitigate the delay of information transmission, a new selection strategy of the candidate forwarders is presented.In addition, two priority assignment methods of the candidate forwarders are proposed for the general relay nodes(GRNs) and the rail-side nodes(RSNs) according to their different routing requirements.Extensive simulation results demonstrate that the proposed MN-OR protocol can achieve better network performances compared with some existing routing schemes such as the well-known Ad-hoc on-demand distance vector routing(AODV) and the extremely opportunistic routing(ExOR) protocols. | Lü Xiaojun Jia Xinchun Han Zongyuan Yang Bo Hao Jun | 2016 | The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications2016,23,5: | 1 |

| 10 | Microbial Responses of Soil Fertility to Depth of Tillage and Incorporation of Straw in a Haplic Chernozem in Northeast China显示文摘Straw is widely incorporated into soil worldwide,but most studies have concentrated on the effects of straw mulching or incorporation with topsoil.To determine the effect of depth of straw incorporation on bacterial and fungal communities,we established a field experiment in a region in Northeast China with Haplic Chernozems using four treatments:conventional tillage(CT,tillage to a depth of 15 cm with no straw incorporation),straw incorporation with conventional tillage(SCT,tillage to a depth of 15 cm),inversion tillage(IT,tillage to a depth of 35 cm)and straw incorporation with inversion tillage(SIT,tillage to a depth of 35 cm).The soils were managed by inversion to a depth of 15 or 35 cm after harvest.The results show that soil organic carbon content was significantly higher and pH and bulk density were significantly lower in the 15–35 cm layer in IT and SIT than CT and SCT.Fungal abundance was higher with straw incorporation,but fungal diversity was lower in the 0–15 cm layer in SCT and SIT than in CT and IT.Path length in the bacterial network was shorter and connectivity was higher in CT+SCT than in IT+SIT,leading to a more complex ecosystem,and the fungal network had opposite patterns.The key taxa in the phylum Actinobacteriota and Ascomycota in the microbial networks changed dramatically at the genus level following inversion tillage with straw amendment,which may increase bacterial network resistance to environmental disturbances and unstable fungal networks,resulting in large changes in the fungal community involved in the decomposition of recalcitrant straw-derived C and the more efficient acquisition of limiting resources. | CHEN Xu SHI Chao HAN Xiaozeng WANG Xiaohui GUO Zhenxi LU Xinchun ZOU Wenxiu YAN Jun | 2023 | Chinese Geographical Science2023,33,4: | 0 |
| 11 | Combining Transcriptomics and Metabolomics to Uncover the Effects of High-Energy Lithium-Ion Beam Irradiation on Capsicum annuum L.显示文摘Hot pepper(Capsicum annuum L.)is consumed as one of the oldest domesticated crops all over the world.Although mutation breeding using radiation has been performed in hot peppers,little is known about the comparative analysis of mutagenic effects at the molecular level by ion beam irradiation.To comprehend the response mechanism of hot pepper to the ion beam,we used a mutant with favorable economic characteristics induced by lithium-ion beam irradiation to investigate the biological effects.The results indicated that the lithium-ion beam had a positive effect on important agronomic traits,particularly yield unit,but had a negligible effect on the photosynthetic rate of hot pepper,with a specific influence on chlorophyll b rather than chlorophyll a.By RNA-Seq analysis,671 up-regulated and 376 down-regulated genes were identified as differentially expressed genes(DEGs)between irradiated and unirradiated hot pepper.Based on GO and KEGG network analysis,the auxin metabolic process was the common pathway in these two networks.A total of 118 potential reactive oxygen species(ROS)scavenging genes and 262 signal transduction genes were identified,suggesting a balance between antioxidant enzymes and enhanced ROS transduction.The amounts of 15 metabolite,involved in GABA pathways,secondary metabolism,carbohydrate metabolism,shikimate pathways,TCA cycles,nitrogen metabolism,glycerol metabolism and acetate pathways,were significantly changed in the ion beam irradiated sample.These results highlighted that the enriched pathways could play important roles in response to ion beam irradiation in hot pepper plants.In summary,these data provide valuable information for future research on ion beam irradiation and genomic studies in hot pepper. | Libo Xie Xue Wang Luxiang Liu Chunmei Xu Yongdun Xie Hongchun Xiong Xinchun Han Mu Guo | 2023 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,11: | 0 |
