1Interferon-inducible cytoplasmic lncLrrc55-AS promotes antiviral innate responses by strengthening IRF3 phosphorylation显示文摘Type I interferon (IFN-I) production is efficiently induced to ensure a potent innate immune response to viral infection. How this response can be enhanced, however, remains to be explored. Here, we identify a new cytoplasmic long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), lncLrrc55-AS, that drives a positive feedback loop to promote interferon regulatory factor 3 (IRF3) signaling and IFN-I production. We show that lncLrrc55-AS is virus-induced in multiple cell types via the IFN-JAK-STAT pathway. LncLrrc55-AS-deficient mice display a weakened antiviral immune response and are more susceptible to viral challenge. Mechanistically, lncLrrc55-AS binds phosphatase methylesterase 1 (PME-1), and promotes the interaction between PME-1 and the phosphatase PP2A, an inhibitor of IRF3 signaling. LncLrrc55-AS supports PME-1-mediated demethylation and inactivation of PP2A, thereby enhancing IRF3 phosphorylation and signaling. Loss of PME-1 phenocopies lncLrrc55-AS deficiency, leading to diminished IRF3 phosphorylation and IFN-I production. 3Silica nanoparticle is a possible safe carrier for gene therapy显示文摘In order to develop a safe and effective gene therapy carrier, some toxicological and biodynamical ex- periments were carried out on silica nanoparticles (SiNPs). First we prepared SiNPs with appropriate portions of cyclo- hexane, deionized water and ethyl silicate, and then trans- fected the modified SiNPs and GFP plasmid DNA complex into the HT1080 cells to test the effectiveness of transfection for gene therapy. At the same time, we injected the SiNPs into a number of mice through tail vein. Then we made the mice crossed to evaluate the acute, long-term and reproduc- tive toxicity. In vivo distribution analysis and pathological examination were made on both adult mice and their off- spring. SiNPs were uniform and had an average diameter of 40 nm, and the modified SiNPs carried exogenous DNA molecules into target cells and the transferred GFP fusion gene was effectively expressed in the cells. The SiNPs injected via tail vein were widely distributed in almost all of tissues, and the injected mice had the ability to reproduce normally. 4Phase Boundary Mapping in ZrNiSn Half-Heusler for Enhanced Thermoelectric Performance显示文摘The solubility range of interstitial Ni in the ZrNi1+xSn half-Heusler phase is a controversial issue,but it has an impact on the thermoelectric properties.In this study,two isothermal section phase diagrams of the Zr-Ni-Sn ternary system at 973K and 1173 K were experimentally constructed based on the binary phase diagrams of Zr-Ni,Zr-Sn,and Ni-Sn.The thermodynamic equilibrium phases were obtained after a long time of heating treatment on the raw alloys prepared by levitation melting.Solubilities of x<0:07 at 973 K and x<0:13 at 1173 K were clearly indicated.An intermediate-Heusler phase with a partly filled Ni void was observed,which is believed to be beneficial to the lowered lattice thermal conductivity.The highest ZT value~0:71 at 973 K was obtained for ZrNi_(1.11)Sn_(1.04).The phase boundary mapping provides an important instruction for the further optimization of ZrNiSn-based materials and other systems.Xiaofang Li Pengbo Yang Yumei Wang Zongwei Zhang Dandan Qin Wenhua Xue Chen Chen Yifang Huang Xiaodong Xie Xinyu Wang Mujin Yang Cuiping Wang Feng Cao Jiehe Sui Xingjun Liu Qian Zhang 2020Research2020,,1:2

6Antithrombotic Management of Atrial Fibrillation Patients Presenting with Coronary Artery Disease:A Consensus Document of the Chinese Society of Cardiology显示文摘The coexistence of coronary artery disease(CAD)and atrial fibrillation(AF)is common in clinical practice.Patients with CAD require antiplatelet therapy to reduce the occurrence of myocardial ischemic events.However,patients with AF at high risk of thromboembolism require oral anticoagulants to reduce the occurrence of thromboembolic events such as stroke.In cases where CAD coexists with AF,the combined use of antiplatelet and anticoagulation therapy can effectively reduce the risk of ischemic and thromboembolic events but increase the risk of bleeding at the same time.The optimal antithrombotic regimen in patients with both CAD and AF has been controversial in clinical practice.In recent years,the expert consensuses on antithrombotic therapy in patients with AF presenting with acute coronary syndrome and/or undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention have been successively released in Europe and North America,and have been updated in a timely manner.In contrast,the guidelines on antithrombotic therapies in China are lacking.Based on published clinical evidence,this consensus incorporated relevant international and Chinese guidelines,consensuses,and expert recommendations,and addressed the issues encountered in the clinical practice of antithrombotic therapy in patients with AF and different types of CAD.The current guideline is of great significance to guide treatment in patients with both CAD and AF in China.Chinese Society of Cardiology of Chinese Medical Association Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Cardiology Zuyi Yuan Shulin Wu Yaling Han Peng Qu Shaowen Liu Changsheng Ma Yumei Xue Xinjun Lei 2021Cardiology Discovery2021,1,1:1

10Improved stability of superelasticity and elastocaloric effect in Ti-Ni alloys by suppressing Lüders-like deformation under tensile load显示文摘Functional stability of superelasticity is crucial for practical applications of shape memory alloys.It is degraded by a Lüders-like deformation with elevated local stress concentration under tensile load.By increasing the degree of solute supersaturation and applying appropriate thermomechanical treatments,a Ti-Ni alloy with nanocrystallinity and dispersed nanoprecipitates is obtained.In contrast to conventional Ti-Ni alloys,the superelasticity in the target alloy is accompanied by homogeneous deformation due to the sluggish stress-induced martensitic transformation.The alloy thus shows a fully recoverable strain of 6%under tensile stress over 1 GPa and a large adiabatic temperature decrease of 13.1 K under tensile strain of 4.5%at room temperature.Moreover,both superelasticity and elastocaloric effect exhibit negligible degradation in response to applied strain of 4%during cycling.We attribute the improved functional stability to low dislocation activity resulting from the suppression of localized deformation and the combined strengthening effect of nanocrystalline structure and nanoprecipitates.Thus,the design of such a microstructure enabling homogeneous deformation provides a recipe for stable superelasticity and elastocaloric effect.Pengfei Dang Jianbo Pang Yumei Zhou Lei Ding Lei Zhang Xiangdong Ding Turab Lookman Jun Sun Dezhen Xue 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,15:1

14Germplasm of breeding Pseudosciaena crocea as revealed by microsatellite markers显示文摘The germplasm of breeding large yellow croaker(Pseudosciaena crocea Richardson)was revealed using 12 microsatellite markers.The results showed that the genetic diversities were on a mediated level in the bred Daiqu and Min-Yue stocks and two hybrid groups,as represented by 4.83 of the mean number of alleles and 0.561 of the average observed heterozygosity.The value of pairwise differentiation coefficient(FST)was only 13.1% between Daiqu and Min-Yue stocks,demonstrating the low level of differentiation and a close relationship.However,STRUCTURE simulations and phylogenetic tree based on the UPGMA method supported that they are geographically different populations of the same species with distinct genetic structures.Examinations of individual admixture showed that Min-Yue stock had been contaminated by alien individuals.Moreover,the genetic structures of the two hybrid groups resembled those of their parents,especially affected more by their female parents.Finally,the values of average observed heterozygosity between parents and their ascendants were compared and tested,as a result of no detectable differences(P>0.05).CHANG Yumei DING Lei LI Mingyun XUE Liangyi LIANG Liqun HE Jianguo LEI Qingquan 2008Acta Oceanologica Sinica2008,27,4:0
15Cardiovascular toxicity with CTLA-4 inhibitors in cancer patients:A meta-analysis显示文摘Background:With the emergence of cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated protein-4(CTLA-4)inhibitors,the outcomes of patients with malignant tumors have improved significantly.However,the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events has also increased,which can affect tumor treatment.In this study,we evaluated the incidence and severity of adverse cardiovascular events caused by CTLA-4 inhibitors by analyzing reported trials that involved CTLA-4 inhibitor therapy.Methods:Randomized clinical trials published in English from January 1,2013,to November 30,2022,were searched using the Cochrane Library and PubMed databases.All included trials examined all grade and grades 3–5 cardiac and vascular adverse events.These involved comparisons of CTLA-4 inhibitors to placebo,CTLA-4 inhibitors plus chemotherapy to chemotherapy alone,CTLA-4 inhibitors combined with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors to PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors alone,and CTLA-4 inhibitors plus target agent to PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors plus target agent.The odds ratio(OR)and corresponding 95%confidence intervals(CIs)were calculated using the Mantel-Haenszel method.Results:Overall,20 trials were included.CTLA-4 inhibitors significantly increased the incidence of all-grade cardiovascular toxicity(OR=1.33,95%CI:1.00–1.75,p=0.05).The incidence of all-grade cardiovascular toxicity increased in malignant tumor patients who received single-agent CTLA-4 inhibitors(OR=1.73,95%CI:1.13–2.65,p=0.01),as well as the incidence rate of grades 3–5 cardiovascular adverse events(OR=2.00,95%CI:1.08–3.70,p=0.03).Compared with the non-CTLA-4 inhibitor group,CTLA-4 inhibitors plus chemotherapy,PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors,or target agent did not significantly affect the incidence of cardiac and vascular toxicity.The incidence of grades 3–5 cardiac failure,hypertension,pericardial effusion,myocarditis,and atrial fibrillation were much higher among patients exposed to CTLA-4 inhibitor,but the data were not statistically significant.Conclusion:Our findings suggest that the incidence rate of all cardiovascular toxicity and severe cardiovascular toxicity increased in patients who were administered CTLA-4 inhibitors.In addition,the risk of serious cardiovascular toxic events was independent of the type of adverse event.From these results,physicians should assess the benefits and risks of CTLA-4 inhibitors when treating malignancies.Huiyi Liu Lu Fu Shuyu Jin Xingdong Ye Yanlin Chen Sijia Pu Yumei Xue 2024Cancer Innovation2024,3,3:0

17Water lubrication of graphene oxide-based materials显示文摘Water is as an economic,eco-friendly,and efficient lubricant that has gained widespread attention for manufacturing.Using graphene oxide(GO)-based materials can improve the lubricant efficacy of water lubrication due to their outstanding mechanical properties,water dispersibility,and broad application scenarios.In this review,we offer a brief introduction about the background of water lubrication and GO.Subsequently,the synthesis,structure,and lubrication theory of GO are analyzed.Particular attention is focused on the relationship between pH,concentration,and lubrication efficacy when discussing the tribology behaviors of pristine GO.By compounding or reacting GO with various modifiers,amounts of GO-composites are synthesized and applied as lubricant additives or into frictional pairs for different usage scenarios.These various strategies of GO-composite generate interesting effects on the tribology behaviors.Several application cases of GO-based materials are described in water lubrication,including metal processing and bio-lubrication.The advantages and drawbacks of GO-composites are then discussed.The development of GO-based materials for water lubrication is described including some challenges.Shaoqing XUE Hanglin LI Yumei GUO Baohua ZHANG Jiusheng LI Xiangqiong ZENG 2022Friction2022,10,7:0
18Ferroic glasses显示文摘Ferroic glasses(strain glass,relaxor and cluster spin glass)refer to frozen disordered states in ferroic systems;they are conjugate states to the long-range ordered ferroic states—the ferroic crystals.Ferroic glasses exhibit unusual properties that are absent in ferroic crystals,such as slim hysteresis and gradual property changes over a wide temperature range.In addition to ferroic glasses and ferroic crystals,a third ferroic state,a glass-ferroic(i.e.,a composite of ferroic glass and ferroic crystal),can be produced by the crystallization transition of ferroic glasses.It can have a superior property not possessed by its two components.These three classes of ferroic materials(ferroic crystal,ferroic glass and glass-ferroic)correspond to three transitions(ferroic phase transition,ferroic glass transition and crystallization transition of ferroic glass,respectively),as demonstrated in a generic temperature vs.defectconcentration phase diagram.Moreover,through constructing a phase field model,the microstructure evolution of three transitions and the phase diagram can be reproduced,which reveals the important role of point defects in the formation of ferroic glass and glass-ferroic.The phase diagram can be used to design various ferroic glasses and glass-ferroics that may exhibit unusual properties.Yuanchao Ji Dong Wang Yu Wang Yumei Zhou Dezhen Xue Kazuhiro Otsuka Yunzhi Wang Xiaobing Ren 2017npj Computational Materials2017,,1:0

A freestanding Ti3C2 Txmembrane with good uniformity was prepared by HF etching of Ti3AlC2. The effect of etching time on the removal of Al atoms and the functional groups bonded to Ti3C2 was precisely characterized by XRD.
