| 1 | Anthropogenic Impact on Surface Water Quality in Taihu Lake Region,China显示文摘Taihu Lake region is one of the most industrialized areas in China, and the surface water is progressively susceptible to anthropogenic pollution. The physicochemical parameters of surface water quality were determined at 20 sampling sites in Taihu Lake region, China in spring, summer, autumn, and winter seasons of 2005-2006 to assess the effect of human activities on the surface water quality. Principal component analysis (PCA) and cluster analysis (CA) were used to identify characteristics of the water quality in the studied water bodies. PCA extracted the first three principal components (PCs), explaining 80.84% of the total variance of the raw data. Especially, PC1 (38.91%) was associated with NH 4 -N, total N, soluble reactive phosphorus, and total P. PC2 (22.70%) was characterized by NO 3 -N and temperature. PC3 (19.23%) was mainly associated with pH and dissolved organic carbon. CA showed that streams were influenced by urban residential subsistence and livestock farming contributed significantly to PC1 throughout the year. The streams influenced by farmland runoff contributed most to PC2 in spring and winter compared with other streams. PC3 was affected mainly by aquiculture in spring, rural residential subsistence in summer, and livestock farming in fall and winter seasons. Further analyses showed that farmlands contributed significantly to nitrogen pollution of Taihu Lake, while urban residential subsistence and livestock farming also polluted water quality of Taihu Lake in rainy season. | 2 | Deep Learning Based Single Image Super-resolution:A Survey显示文摘Single image super-resolution has attracted increasing attention and has a wide range of applications in satellite imaging, medical imaging, computer vision, security surveillance imaging, remote sensing, objection detection, and recognition. Recently, deep learning techniques have emerged and blossomed, producing ' the state-of-the-art” in many domains. Due to their capability in feature extraction and mapping, it is very helpful to predict high-frequency details lost in low-resolution images. In this paper, we give an overview of recent advances in deep learning-based models and methods that have been applied to single image super-resolution tasks. | 3 | Regional eco-efficiency evaluation and spatial pattern analysis of the Yangtze River Economic Zone显示文摘The environmental ecology of the Yangtze River Economic Zone(YREZ)faces ecological function decline,deterioration and degradation under intense human activities,long-term development and utilization and its economy has developed rapidly over recent decades.Eco-efficiency is considered as a measure of coordinated development of economy,resources,environment and ecology,and is currently considered a very important issue.In this paper,based on the slack-based measure and data envelope analysis model,we take 129 prefecture-level cities of the YREZ as the study unit and measure the eco-efficiency of the YREZ in 2000,2005,2010 and 2015,which considers undesired output.The evaluation of the status quo of the regional eco-efficiency development was carried out at provincial,prefectural and city scales.The spatial autocorrelation test model and standard deviation ellipse were used to analyze the spatially distributed characteristics and the evolutionary regularity of eco-efficiency.Our study suggested that the eco-efficiency value varied significantly at different spatiotemporal scales and the overall distribution presented an'N-shaped'pattern,the value is the largest downstream and the smallest upstream.Regional eco-efficiency presented certain volatility in growth and a clear spatial positive agglomeration trend from 2000 to 2015.The spatial distribution of each agglomeration area was also significantly different,forming some high-high agglomeration areas at the center of the shaft with Shanghai and surrounding cities,and some low-low agglomeration areas at the center with middle reaches and upstream cities.The low-high over-aggregation and high-low polarization clusters were fewer.At the same time,with the change of the research period,the degree of positive agglomeration became increasingly pronounced and the eco-efficiency gap of the neighborhoodunit reduced.The regional eco-efficiency value of the YREZ presented a spatial distribution pattern in the northeast-southwest axis and the evolutionary pattern of the regional eco-efficiency similarly showed a northeast-southwest orientation. | HA Lin TU Jianjun YANG Jianping XU Chunhai PANG Jiaxing LU Debin YAO Zuolin ZHAO Wenyu | 2020 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2020,30,7: | 8 |
| 4 | Crosstalk-free achromatic full Stokes imaging polarimetry metasurface enabled by polarization-dependent phase optimization显示文摘Imaging polarimetry is one of the most widely used analytical technologies for object detection and analysis.To date,most metasurface-based polarimetry techniques are severely limited by narrow operating bandwidths and inevitable crosstalk,leading to detrimental effects on imaging quality and measurement accuracy.Here,we propose a crosstalkfree broadband achromatic full Stokes imaging polarimeter consisting of polarization-sensitive dielectric metalenses,implemented by the principle of polarization-dependent phase optimization.Compared with the single-polarization optimization method,the average crosstalk has been reduced over three times under incident light with arbitrary polarization ranging from 9μm to 12μm,which guarantees the measurement of the polarization state more precisely.The experimental results indicate that the designed polarization-sensitive metalenses can effectively eliminate the chromatic aberration with polarization selectivity and negligible crosstalk.The measured average relative errors are 7.08%,8.62%,7.15%,and 7.59%at 9.3,9.6,10.3,and 10.6μm,respectively.Simultaneously,the broadband full polarization imaging capability of the device is also verified.This work is expected to have potential applications in wavefront detection,remote sensing,light-field imaging,and so forth. | Yaxin Zhang Mingbo Pu Jinjin Jin Xinjian Lu Yinghui Guo Jixiang Cai Fei Zhang Yingli Ha Qiong He Mingfeng Xu Xiong Li Xiaoliang Ma Xiangang Luo | 2022 | Opto-Electronic Advances2022,5,11: | 6 |

| 7 | Ecological niches and blood sources of sand fly in an endemic focus of visceral leishmaniasis in Jiuzhaigou,Sichuan,China显示文摘Background:Sand fly Phlebotomus chinensis is a principle vector for the visceral leishmaniasis(VL)in China with a wide geographic distribution.Jiuzhaigou,Sichuan is a mountain type endemic area of VL in China.Long term effective control efforts in the region have successfully reduced VL transmission.To assess the current status of the sand flies and their ecological aspects in the region,a survey was conducted in the summer of 2014 and 2015.Methods:Sand fly specimens were collected by light traps in a village and blood sources were identified by PCR and sequencing of the mitochondrial cytochrome b gene.Results:In a rock cave,65.2%–79.8%of collected sand flies were male.On a rabbit farm,92.9%–98.8%of specimens were female.In pig pens,61.1%of specimens were female.Some females had visible blood residues.The feeding rate was 49.4%from the pig pens,12.3%from the cave,and only 1.7%from the rabbit farm.Pig,rabbit,chicken,dog,and human blood were detected in the fed specimens.Swine blood,present in all tested samples,was a preferred blood source,while chicken and dog blood were present in a third of the samples.Conclusions:In Jiuzhaigou County,Sichuan Province of China,the considerable sandfly density and the peridomestic feeding behavior all increases the risk of VL transmission,and insecticide spraying in animal sheds could be exploited to reduce sand fly populations in human surroundings. | Huiying Chen Kaili Li Hua Shi Yong Zhang Yu Ha Yan Wang Jinjin Jiang Yubin Wang Zhenzhou Yang Jiannong Xu Yajun Ma | 2016 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2016,5,1: | 3 |

| 9 | Spatiotemporal patterns and influencing factors of human migration networks in China during COVID-19显示文摘The social lockdowns and strict control measures initiated to combat the COVID-19 pandemic have had an impact on human migration.In this study,big data was used to analyze spatial patterns of population migration in 369 Chinese cities during the COVID-19 outbreak and to identify determinants of population migration.We found that the overall migration intensity decreased by 39.87%compared to the same period in 2019 prior to the COVID-19 outbreak.COVID-19 severely affected human migration.The public holidays and weekends have impacted human migration from the perspective of time scale.The spatial pattern of China’s population distribution presents a diamond structure that is dense in the east and sparse in the west,which is bounded by the Hu line and the cities such as Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou and Chengdu as nodes to connect.There is a strong consistency between the population distribution center and the level of urban development.The urban human migration network is centered on provincial capitals or municipalities at the regional scale,showing a prominent'center-periphery'structure.COVID-19 dispersed the forces of human migration in time and changed the direction of human migration in space.But it did not change the pattern of national migration.The most critical factors influencing mass migration are income levels and traditional culture.This study reveals the impacts of major public health emergencies on conventional migration patterns and provides a scientific theoretical reference for COVID-19 prevention and control. | Debin Lu Wu Xiao Guoyu Xu Lin Ha Dongyang Yang | 2021 | Geography and Sustainability2021,2,4: | 2 |
