1Microsurgical resection of craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle via an improved transventricular approach显示文摘Background Craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle is difficult to treat and its therapeutic regimens and operative approaches have been controversial. This study was undertaken to probe indications for microsurgical resection of craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle via an improved transventricular approach, its surgical procedures and therapeutic effects, and prevention of postoperative complications.Methods Fifty-one patients with craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle were treated from January 2000 to October 2004 by an improved transventricular approach for removing the tumor via the interventricular foramen,the intermedius of the septum pellucidum or choroid fissure. Symptoms and signs of the patients, and results of imaging, operation, and follow-up were analyzed. Results Of the 51 patients who had received the improved transventricular resection, 4 underwent a combined approach with an entrance of the pterion. Forty patients (78.43%) underwent total resection and others subtotal resection, without an operative death. Epileptic seizures were found in 3 patients (5.88%) and subdural effusion in the operative field in 4 (7.84%). All patients showed good general conditions after operation, and follow-up for an average of 27.52 months showed relapse of the tumour in 8 patients (15.69%).Conclusions Microsurgical resection of craniopharyngioma of the third ventricle by an improved transventricular approach has advantages of operative safety and efficacy, lower mortality and disability, and less complications.XUJian-guo YOUChao CAIBo-wen JIANGShu SUNHong GUOFu-you YANGYong-bo WUBo 2005Chinese Medical Journal2005,,10:6
2Spectroscopic study of conformation changes of bovine serum albumin in aqueous environment显示文摘The secondary structural changes of bovine serum albumin (BSA) aqueous solutions with and without calcium cations were investigated by attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) technology. The spectra of BSA solution and BSA dry powder were mainly reflected the formation of hydrogen bonds between water and BSA. Further investigation indicated that the concentrations of calcium cations in BSA aqueous solution also affected the secondary structural change of the protein. Amide I band was red shifted and amide II band was blue shifted in aqueous environment compared with the dry BSA powder, and the addition of calcium cations further changed the amide bands position, which led to the change of the secondary structure. 3FTIR-ATR study for adsorption of trypsin in aqueous environment on bare and TiO2 coated ZnSe surfaces显示文摘Undesired adsorption of proteins brings big troubles to marine structures.The settled proteins change the physical and chemical properties of the surfaces,which allow marine fouling organisms to settle down on the structures.Therefore,to understand the adsorption mechanism of proteins is very helpful to find an environment-friendly solution against biofouling.Many approaches have been developed to study protein adsorption,but most of them are insufficient to give the chemical interaction information between proteins and surfaces.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy with attenuated total reflection(FTIR-ATR)is an efficient,fast and non-destructive method for in situ surface measurement,which greatly minimizes the interference of water to infra red spectra,because of the very small depth of penetration of the evanescent wave.In this paper,an in situ FTIR-ATR technology was used to investigate the adsorption process of trypsin on a bare ZnSe surface and on a TiO2 coated ZnSe surface,and the effect of calcium cation strength and ultraviolet light irradiation on the secondary structure of trypsin were also evaluated.FTIR spectra of trypsin showed that Amide I band red shift and AmideⅡband blue shift in aqueous environment on both surfaces compared with the dry trypsin powder,and the addition of calcium cations further changed the Amide bands position,which indicated that the change of the secondary structure could be interfered by the environment.The hydrogen bond formation between water and trypsin,the interaction between surface and trypsin,the interaction between hydrated calcium cations and trypsin,are major facto rs to change the secondary structure of trypsin,and UV light irradiation also showed its influence for the secondary structure.Chune Guo Xiaomi Guo Wubo Chu Nan Jiang He Li 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,1:1

9Exhaust emission inventory of typical construction machinery and its contribution to atmospheric pollutants in Chengdu, China显示文摘To study the emission characteristics of typical construction machinery in Chengdu,12 construction machinery (excavators,bulldozers,loaders,and forklifts) under idling mode,moving mode,and working mode,were tested using a portable emission measurement system(PEMS).Under three operating modes,the typical construction machinery in the working mode was higher in the fuel-based average emission factors of PM_(2.5)and NOx,while the fuel-based average emission factors of HC and CO were higher in idling mode.Integrated the results of investigation on ownership and activity levels of construction machinery,an exhaust emission inventory of typical construction machinery of Chengdu in 2018 was established according to the recommendation method.The annual emission of PM_(2.5),NOx,HC,and CO were 1.67×106,1.61×108,3.83×106,and 1.26×107kg,respectively,and the excavator contributed the maximum emissions,accounting for an average proportion of 43.95%.The emission of construction machinery in Chengdu exhibited a clear monthly trend,with the highest from April to October and the lowest from November to March.In addition,the exhaust emissions presented an obvious spot-like characteristics,and the high-value areas were mainly concentrated in the surrounding suburban counties such as Shuangliu Wenjiang etc.To reduce pollution from construction machinery and improve the quality of the atmospheric environment,more effective measures on housing construction and municipal construction should be taken in those districts in Chengdu.Wubo Fan Wenju Jiang Junhui Chen Fumo Yang Jun Qian Hong Ye 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,3:1

12Microgrid Relay Protection Scheme Based on Harmonic Footprint of Short-Circuit Fault显示文摘Due to the low overcurrent capacity of the inverter-based microgrid,traditional overcurrent protect is not suitable for the entire power system including microgrid.A fast detecting method and a whole protection scheme is needed to identify the fault and keep the system stable.This paper proposes a microgrid relay protection scheme combining a fast fault detection algorithm and low voltage ride through(LVRT)strategy.The detection algorithm combines a new harmonic analysis method and impedance delay which can complete fault detection within several milliseconds.Under a fault condition,the LVRT strategy utilizes an enhanced phase-locked loop(EPLL)to allow the microgrid to operate under unbalanced conditions for a period of time.In addition,for the dispatch requirements of power system,it also has communication based power compensation functionality.The scheme given in this paper is verified by simulation,verifying feasibility of its application in practice.Wei Zhao Xiaoxi Bi Wubo Wang Xiaofeng Sun 2018Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2018,4,4:1

15Adaptive stabilization for cascade nonlinear systems显示文摘An adaptive controller of full state feedback for certain cascade nonlinear systems achieving input-to-state stability with respect to unknown bounded disturbance is designed using backstepping and control Lyapunov function (CLF) techniques. We show that unknown bounded disturbance can be estimated by update laws, which requires less information on unknown disturbance, as a part of stabilizing control. The design method achieves the desired property: global robust stability. 16A Spiral Graphene Framework Containing Highly Ordered Graphene Microtubes for Polymer Composites with Superior Through-Plane Thermal Conductivity显示文摘As the power density of electronic devices increases,there has been an urgent demand to develop highly conductive polymer composites to address the accompanying thermal management issues.Due to the ultra-high intrinsic thermal conductivity,graphene is considered a very promising filler to improve the thermal conductivity of polymers.However,graphene-based polymer composites prepared by the conventional mixing method generally have limited thermal conductivity,even under high graphene loading,due to the failure to construct efficient heat transfer pathways in the polymer matrix.Here,a spiral graphene framework(SGF)containing continuous and highly ordered graphene microtubes was developed based on a modified CVD method.After embedding into the epoxy(EP)matrix,the graphene microtubes can act as efficient heat pathways,endowing the SGF/EP composites with a high through-plane thermal conductivity of 1.35 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1) at an ultralow graphene loading of 0.86 wt%.This result gives a thermal conductivity enhancement per 1 wt%filler loading of 710%,significantly outperforming various graphene structures as fillers.In addition,we demonstrated the practical application of the SGF/EP composite as a thermal interface material for efficient thermal man-agement of the light-emitting diode(LED).Jinrui Gong Xue Tan Qilong Yuan Zhiduo Liu Junfeng Ying Le Lv Qingwei Yan Wubo Chu Chen Xue Jinhong Yu Kazuhito Nishimura Nan Jiang Cheng-Te Lin Wen Dai 2022Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,3:0
17ATR-FTIR study of Bacillus sp. and Escherichia coli settlements on the bare and Al_2O_3 coated ZnSe internal reflection element显示文摘Marine microorganism accumulated on the surface of ships or pipelines would accelerate fouling organisms, such as mussels and barnacles, adhered on the surface. It was significant to understand the bio-interaction between the microorganisms and the surface. Attenuated total reflection(ATR) Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy was used to study the initial stages of marine microorganism adhering to surfaces, because it could probe the microorganism interaction to the surface regardless of the water interference. Bacillus sp. and Escherichia coli were selected to study the initial attachment on different surfaces, because they were typical fouling microorganisms and showed opposite Gram stain results. The assays were conducted respectively in dried and settled bacteria on two different surfaces(ZnSe, Al2 O3 coated on ZnSe). IR spectra of settled bacteria showed amide I band red shift and amide II band blue shift in aqueous environment on both surfaces compared with the dry bacteria. The reasons of amide bands shift were investigated and it was discovered that the hydrogen bond between the water and the protein of the bacteria led to the protein secondary structure change. 18Isolation and characterization of a Sinorhizobium fredii mutant that cannot utilize proline as the sole carbon and nitrogen source显示文摘Sinorhizobium fredii strain HN01 can use proline as the sole carbon and nitrogen source. A mutant strain GXHN100 unable to catabolize proline was screened from 6000 Tn5gusA5 random insertional mutants of S.fredii strain HN01. Sequencing analysis showed that an open read- ing frame, named pmrA (proline metabolic relative), was inserted by the Tn5gusA5. A positive clone, named pGXHN100 which containing 3.3kb foreign DNA fragment of S.fredii strain HN01, was isolated from a partial gene library of S.fredii HN01 by colony in situ hybridization. Sequence analysis showed that pGXHN100 contained the entire pmrA gene. The 3.3kb DNA fragment of pGXHN100 was cloned into a broad-host-range cosmid vector pLAFR3 to form plasmid pGXHN200 which was subsequently introduced into GXHN100 to form a complemented strain GXHN200. Plant test showed that GXHN100 was effective and no obvious changes in nitrogenase activity comparing with parental strain. But GXHN100 nodulated 2 days later on soybean and its nodulation efficiency and competitiveness were decreased.
