3Distribution and geological significance of 17α(H)-diahopanes from different hydrocarbon source rocks of Yanchang Formation in Ordos Basin显示文摘Based on GC-MS testing data of many saturated hydrocarbon samples, 17α(H)-C30 diahopanes (C30*) are extensively distributed in the lacustrine hydrocarbon source rocks of the Yanchang Formation in Ordos Basin, but show remarkable differences in relative abundance among various source rocks. Generally, Chang 7 high-quality source rock (oil shale) developed in deep lake anoxic environment shows lower C30* content, whereas Chang 6-9 dark mudstone developed in shallow to semi-deep lake, sub-oxidizing environment shows relatively high to high C30* value. Particularly, Chang 7 and Chang 9 black mudstones in Zhidan region in the northeast of the lake basin show extremely high C30* value. A comparative analysis was made based on lithology, organic types and various geochemical parameters indicative of redox environment, and the results indicate that environmental factors such as redox settings and lithology are key factors that control the C30* relative abundance, while organic types and maturity may be minor factors. High to extremely high C30* values are indicative of sub-oxidizing environment of fresh-brackish water and shallow to semi-deep lake. Therefore, research on C30* relative content and distribution in lacustrine hydrocarbon source rocks in the Yanchang Formation, especially on the difference in C30* between Chang 7 high-quality source rocks (oil shale) and Chang 6-91 source rocks (dark mudstone), will provide an important approach for classification of Mesozoic lacustrine crudes and detailed oil-source correlation in the basin.ZHANG WenZheng YANG Hua HOU LiHui LIU Fei 2009Science China Earth Sciences2009,52,7:16

5Research on failure scenarios of domes based on form vulnerability显示文摘In this paper, form vulnerability theory was applied to the analysis of the failure mechanisms of single-layer latticed spherical shells subjected to seismic excitations. Three 1/10 scale testing models were designed with characteristics as follows: Model 1 possesses overall uniform stiffness and is expected to collapse in the strength failure mode as some members become plastic; Model 2 possesses six man-made weak parts located on six radial main rib zones and is expected to collapse in the dynamic instability mode with all members still in the elastic stage; Model 3 strengthens the six weak zones of Model 2, and therefore, its stiffness is uniform. Model 3 is proposed to collapse in the strength failure mode when the members are still in the elastic stage. By increasing the peak ground accelerations of seismic waves gradually, the shaking table tests were carried out until all three models collapsed (or locally collapsed). On the basis of form vulnerability theory, topological hierarchy models of the test models were established through a clustering process, and various failure scenarios, including overall collapse scenarios and partial collapse scenarios, were identified by unzipping corresponding hierarchical models. By comparison of the failure scenarios based on theoretical analysis and experiments, it was found that vulnerability theory could effectively reflect the weakness zones in topological relations of the structures from the perspective of internal causes. The internal mechanisms of the distinct failure characteristics of reticulated shells subjected to seismic excitations were also revealed in this process. The well-formedness of structural clusters, Q, is closely related to the collapse modes, i.e., uniform changes of Q indicate a uniform distribution of overall structural stiffness, which indicates that strength failure is likely to happen; conversely, non-uniform changes of Q indicate that weak zones exist in the structure, and dynamic instability is likely to occur.YE JiHong LIU WenZheng PAN Rui 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,11:15
6Multi-scale object detection by top-down and bottom-up feature pyramid network显示文摘While moving ahead with the object detection technology, especially deep neural networks, many related tasks, such as medical application and industrial automation, have achieved great success. However, the detection of objects with multiple aspect ratios and scales is still a key problem. This paper proposes a top-down and bottom-up feature pyramid network(TDBU-FPN),which combines multi-scale feature representation and anchor generation at multiple aspect ratios. First, in order to build the multi-scale feature map, this paper puts a number of fully convolutional layers after the backbone. Second, to link neighboring feature maps, top-down and bottom-up flows are adopted to introduce context information via top-down flow and supplement suboriginal information via bottom-up flow. The top-down flow refers to the deconvolution procedure, and the bottom-up flow refers to the pooling procedure. Third, the problem of adapting different object aspect ratios is tackled via many anchor shapes with different aspect ratios on each multi-scale feature map. 9Epigenetics of epithelial Na^+ channel-dependent sodium uptake and blood pressure regulation显示文摘The epithelial Na+ channel(ENa C) consists of α,β,γsubunits.Its expression and function are regulated by aldosterone at multiple levels including transcription.ENa C plays a key role in Na+ homeostasis and blood pressure.Mutations in ENa C subunit genes result in hypertension or hypotension,depending on the nature of the mutations.Transcription of αENa C is considered as the rate-limiting step in the formation of functional ENa C.As an aldosterone target gene,αENa C is activated upon aldosterone-mineralocorticoid receptor binding to the cis-elements in the αENa C promoter,which is packed into chromatin.However,how aldosterone alters chromatin structure to induce changes in transcription is poorly understood.Studies by others and us suggest that Dot1a-Af9 complex represses αENa C by directly binding and regulating targeted histone H3 K79 hypermethylation at the specific subregions of αENa C promoter.Aldosterone decreases Dot1a-Af9 formation by impairing expression of Dot1 a and Af9 and by inducing Sgk1,which,in turn,phosphorylates Af9 at S435 to weaken Dot1a-Af9 interaction.MR attenuates Dot1aAf9 effect by competing with Dot1 a for binding Af9.Af17 relieves repression by interfering with Dot1a-Af9 interaction and promoting Dot1 a nuclear export.Af17-/-mice exhibit defects in ENa C expression,renal Na+ retention,and blood pressure control.This review gives a brief summary of these novel findings.Wenzheng Zhang 2015World Journal of Nephrology2015,4,3:7
10Geochemical characteristics and origin of gases from the Upper,Lower Paleozoic and the Mesozoic reservoirs in the Ordos Basin,China显示文摘The Ordos Basin,the second largest sedimentary basin in China,contains the broad distribution of natural gas types.So far,several giant gas fields have been discovered in the Upper and Lower Paleozoic in this basin,each having over 1000×10 8 m 3 of proven gas reserves,and several gas pools have also been discovered in the Mesozoic.This paper collected the data of natural gases and elucidated the geochemical characteristics of gases from different reservoirs,and then discussed their origin.For hydrocarbons preserved in the Upper Paleozoic,the elevatedδ13C values of methane,ethane and propane indicate that the gases would be mainly coal-formed gases;the singular reversal in the stable carbon isotopes of gaseous alkanes suggests the mixed gases from humic sources with different maturity.In the Lower Paleozoic,theδ13C 1 values are mostly similar with those in the Upper Paleozoic,but theδ13C 2 andδ13C 3 values are slightly lighter,suggesting that the gases would be mixing of coal-type gases as a main member and oil-type gases.There are multiple reversals in carbon isotopes for gaseous alkanes,especially abnormal reversal for methane and ethane(i.e.δ13C 1 >δ13C 2 ),inferring that gases would be mixed between high-mature coal-formed gases and oil-type gases.In the Mesozoic,the δ13Cvalues for gaseous alkanes are enriched in 12C,indicating that the gases are mainly derived from sapropelic sources;the carbon isotopic reversal for propane and butane in the Mesozoic is caused by microbial oxidation and mixing of gases from sapropelic sources with different maturity.In contrast to the Upper Paleozoic gases,the Mesozoic gases are characterized by heavier carbon isotopes of iso-butane than normal butane,which may be caused by gases generated from different kerogen types. 12Three-dimensional conformal intensity-modulated radiation therapy of left femur foci does not damage the sciatic nerve显示文摘During radiotherapy to kill femoral hydatid tapeworms,the sciatic nerve surrounding the focus can be easily damaged by the treatment.Thus,it is very important to evaluate the effects of radiotherapy on the surrounding nervous tissue.In the present study,we used three-dimensional,conformal,intensity-modulated radiation therapy to treat bilateral femoral hydatid disease in Meriones meridiani.The focus of the hydatid disease on the left femur was subjected to radiotherapy(40 Gy) for 14 days,and the right femur received sham irradiation.Hematoxylin-eosin staining,electron microscopy,and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-d UTP nick end labeling assays on the left femurs showed that the left sciatic nerve cell structure was normal,with no obvious apoptosis after radiation.Trypan blue staining demonstrated that the overall protoscolex structure in bone parasitized with Echinococcus granulosus disappeared in the left femur of the animals after treatment.The mortality of the protoscolex was higher in the left side than in the right side.The succinate dehydrogenase activity in the protoscolex in bone parasitized with Echinococcus granulosus was lower in the left femur than in the right femur.These results suggest that three-dimensional conformal intensity-modulated radiation therapy achieves good therapeutic effects on the secondary bone in hydatid disease in Meriones meridiani without damaging the morphology or function of the sciatic nerve.Wanlong Xu Xibin Zhao Qing Wang Jungang Sun Jiangbo Xu Wenzheng Zhou Hao Wang Shigui Yan Hong Yuan 2014Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,20:6
13Soil Heavy Metal Pollution and Health Risk Assessment of Abandoned Land in Coal Mining Areas in Xingren County显示文摘Total contents of heavy metals( Pb,Cr,Cd,Hg,As,Cu,Zn,and Ni) in 68 soil samples were determined to evaluate the contamination level of soil from five coal mine areas in Xingren County,Guizhou province.The pollution levels of heavy metals were characterized by anthropogenic influence multiple,and the pollution of heavy metal in soil was evaluated using geo-accumulation index.Based on the health risk models recommended by the U.S.Environmental Protection Agency( US EPA),the health risks of heavy metals in the soils were assessed.The results showed that the abandoned land in the five coal mining areas were contaminated by heavy metals,and the order of pollution levels of eight heavy metals was As>Pb>Cu>Hg>Ni>Cr>Cd>Zn.The soils suffered moderate-heavy pollution from As and Pb,and the contents of As and Pb in the soils were 13.16 and 4.76 times higher than the background values of Guizhou Province,followed by Cu,Hg and Ni,while soil pollution from Cr,Cd and Zn was mild.The order of non-carcinogenic risks of the heavy metals in the soils was As>Pb>Cr>Ni>Cu>Hg>Cd>Zn,and the non-carcinogenic risk value of As was higher than that its threshold value 1,which indicated that As had a high potential health risk to adults and children.The order of carcinogen risks of the four heavy metals was As>Cd>Cr>Ni,and the carcinogenic risk value of As was higher than its threshold value,indicating that As had a high carcinogenic risk to adults and children.The carcinogenic risk values of other three heavy metals(Cd,Cr and Ni)were lower than the threshold value,so they had no carcinogenic risk to human health.Moreover,children were more sensitively affected by heavy metals from the abandoned land.Therefore,the health of children in such areas should be paid more attention to.The HI value of the eight heavy metals to children was seven times higher than that to adults.The contribution rate of HQ_(Asto) HI was about 88%,and the contribution rate of CR_(As) to TCR was about 98%,so As was the most crucial factor influencing non-carcinogenic and carcinogenic risk in the abandoned soils.Qin Fanxin Pang Wenpin Liu Wenzheng 2015Meteorological and Environmental Research2015,6,11:6
14An ATF24 peptide-functionalized β-elemene-nanostructured lipid carrier combined with cisplatin for bladder cancer treatment显示文摘Objective:In this study,we aimed to develop an amino-terminal fragment(ATF)peptide-targeted liposome carryingβ-elemene(ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E)for targeted delivery into urokinase plasminogen activator receptor-overexpressing bladder cancer cells combined with cisplatin(DDP)for bladder cancer treatment.Methods:The liposomes were prepared by ethanol injection and high-pressure microjet homogenization.The liposomes were characterized,and the drug content,entrapment efficiency,andin vitro release were studied.The targeting efficiency was investigated using confocal microscopy,ultra-fast liquid chromatography,and an orthotopic bladder cancer model.The effects of ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E combined with DDP on cell viability and proliferation were evaluated by a Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8)assay,a colony formation assay,and cell apoptosis and cell cycle analyses.The anticancer effects were evaluated in a KU-19-19 bladder cancer xenograft model.Results:ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E had small and uniform sizes(~79 nm),high drug loading capacity(~5.24 mg/mL),high entrapment efficiency(98.37±0.95%),and exhibited sustained drug release behavior.ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E had better targeting efficiency and higher cytotoxicity than polyethylene glycol(PEG)ylatedβ-elemene liposomes(PEG-Lipo-β-E).DDP,combined with ATF24-PEG-Lipo-β-E,exerted a synergistic effect on cellular apoptosis and cell arrest at the G2/M phase,and these effects were dependent on the caspase-dependent pathway and Cdc25C/Cdc2/cyclin B1 pathways.Furthermore,thein vivo antitumor activity showed that the targeted liposomes effectively inhibited the growth of tumors,using the combined strategy.Conclusions:The present study provided an effective strategy for the targeted delivery ofβ-elemene(β-E)to bladder cancer,and a combined strategy for bladder cancer treatment.Bingtao Zhai Peng Chen Wengang Wang Shuiping Liu Jiao Feng Ting Duan Yu Xiang Ruonan Zhang Mingming Zhang Xuemeng Han Xiaying Chen Qiujie Li Guohua Li Ying Liu Xingxing Huang Wenzheng Zhang Ting Pan Lili Yan Ting Jin Tian Xie Xinbing Sui 2020Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,3:5

16Comparative Proteomic Analysis of Arabidopsis Mature Pollen and Germinated Pollen显示文摘Proteomic analysis was applied to generating the map of Arabidopsis mature pollen proteins and analyzing the differentially expressed proteins that are potentially involved in the regulation of Arabidopsis pollen germination.By applying 2-D electrophoresis and silver staining,we resolved 499 and 494 protein spots from protein samples extracted from pollen grains and pollen tubes,respectively.Using the matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry method,we identified 189 distinct proteins from 213 protein spots expressed in mature pollen or pollen tubes,and 75 new identified proteins that had not been reported before in research into the Arabidopsis pollen proteome.Comparative analysis revealed that 40 protein spots exhibit reproducible significant changes between mature pollen and pollen tubes.And 21 proteins from 17 downregulated and six upregulated protein spots were identified.Functional category analysis indicated that these differentially expressed proteins mainly involved in signaling,cellular structure,transport,defense/stress responses,transcription,metabolism,and energy production.The patterns of changes at protein level suggested the important roles for energy metabolism-related proteins in pollen tube growth,accompanied by the activation of the stress response pathway and modifications to the cell wall.Junjie Zou Lianfen Song Wenzheng Zhang Yi Wang Songlin Ruan Wei-Hua Wu 2009Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2009,51,5:5

19Design and experiment of anti-vibrating and anti-wrapping rotary components for subsoiler cum rotary tiller显示文摘The commonly used subsoiling cum rotary tiller machine(SRT)in Northern China is a combination of subsoiler and horizontal rotary tiller,however backfilling of the subsoiling slot,excessive vibration and plant residue wrapping on rotary components has been rarely considered.Therefore,the rotary components and assembly were redesigned to address these issues and to an SRT fitted with IT225 short curve rotary blades behind the V-shape subsoiling slots and IIT245 long curve rotary blades between the tines.Long and short blades were fitted on a rotor in a double helix,with optimal spiral angles of 65° and 90°,and phase angle of 147°and 180°,respectively.Compared with the commonly used SRT(CSRT),the additional anti-wrapping cutting blades in the circumferential and axial direction of ASRT could remove hanging residue on the blade holders,wrapping on the rotor and formation of an isolation layer.Moreover,the cutting edge curve of anti-wrapping cutting blades was an exponential curve.Field tests demonstrated that the redesigned SRT with anti-vibrating and anti-wrapping rotary components(ASRT)had was a significant advancement over the CSRT.Moreover,the working depth of rotary tillage was more stable,while other observations confirmed that backfilling of the subsoiling slot was also improved.Kan Zheng Allen D.McHugh Hongwen Li Qingjie Wang Caiyun Lu Hongnan Hu Wenzheng Liu Zhiqiang Zhang Peng Liu Jin He 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,4:4
20On the development mechanism of the lacustrine high-grade hydrocarbon source rocks of Chang 91 member in Ordos Basin显示文摘As revealed from recent drilling and organic geochemical testing and research, a series of lacustrine high-grade hydrocarbon source rocks was discovered in the upper section of the Chang 9 oil reservoir member of upper Triassic in Ordos Basin. The hydrocarbon source rocks show average TOC content as high as 5.03%, average bitumen 'A' content as high as 0.8603%, and good quality organic precursors, which are of the sapropelic type mainly derived from lower aquatic plants and have reached the thermal evolution stage featured by oil-producing climax. Generally the lacustrine high-grade hydrocarbon source rocks were developed in local depressions of a lake basin, and the Chang 91 member was particularly formed in a depositional environment characterized by fresh water to weakly saline water, weakly oxidizing to weakly reducing setting and semi-deep lake facies, as was demonstrated by a variety of organic to inorganic geochemical parameters. As a result, high productivity constitutes the principal controlling force for generation of this series of high-grade hydrocarbon source rocks.
