Development of a Chinese land data assimilation system:its progress and prospects显示文摘陆地数据吸收的目的是为改进陆地表面状态的评价把多来源观察合成陆地表面模型的动力学。 Li Xin Huang Chunlin Che Tao Jin Rui Wang Shugong Wang Jiemin Gao Feng Zhang Shuwen Qiu Chongjian Wang Chenghai 2007Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2007,17,8:30
Inventory of mangrove wetlands in the Pearl River Estuary of China using remote sensing显示文摘Mangrove forests have important ecological functions in protecting the environment. However, the mangrove wetlands have been largely lost because of intensified human activities in the study area. Remote sensing can be conveniently used for the inventory of mangrove forests because field investigation is very difficult. In this study, a knowledge-based system is developed to retrieve spatio-temporal dynamics of mangrove wetlands using multi-temporal remote sensing data. Radar remote sensing data are also used to provide complementary information for the quantitative analysis of mangrove wetlands. Radar remote sensing is able to penetrate mangrove forests and obtain the trunk information about mangrove structures. The integration of radar remote sensing with optical remote sensing can significantly improve the accuracies of classifying mangrove wetland types and estimating wetland biomass.LI xia YEH Anthony LIU Kai WANG Shugong 2006Journal of Geographical Sciences2006,16,2:8
The Impact on Environmental Kuznets Curve by Trade and Foreign Direct Investment in China显示文摘Based on data of trade, foreign directinvestment (FDI), economic development andenvironmental conditions in China’s 30 provincesbetween 1990-2002, this paper deals with the impacton Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) of tradeand FDI in China. The results show no direct impacton EKC of trade, on the one hand. However, tradecontributes significantly to economic growth, andhas played a positive role in introducing advancedpollution prevention technology and environmentalmanagement methodology to China. Therefore, aproactive trade policy will help solve the environmentalpollution problem brought by economic growth. Onthe other hand, there is a positive correlation betweenFDI and pollutant emission, which proves that FDIdoes have some negative influence on environmentin China due to hasty introduction of foreign capitaland inadequate environmental management systemin China.Yang Haisheng 1, Jia Jia 2, Zhou Yongzhang 1& Wang Shugong 1,31 Center for Earth Environment & Resources, Zhongshan University, Guangzhou, 5102752 Lingnan College, Zhongshan University, Guangzhou, 5102753 Institute of Environmental Science, Zhongshan University, Guangzhou, 510275 2005Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2005,3,2:4
Linear magnetic anomalies and tectonic development of the middle Okinawa Trough显示文摘By analyzing the magnetic anomalies, the linear magnetic anomalies in the middle Okinawa Trough are identified. It means that the crust along the spreading axis is broken, and new oceanic crust is formed.Geophysical data have revealed that a model of three extensive episodes occurs in the Okinawa Trough, which can be named as“doming episode” from the Middle to Late Miocene(Phase I),the episode from the Pliocence to Early Pleistocene(Phase Ⅱ),and the recent“spreading episode”(Phase Ⅲ).The magnetic anomalies in the middle Okinawa Trough are very similar to those found in the middle Red Sea,indicating that the Okinawa Trough is developing towards the “Red Sea stage”.Similar to the Red Sea,there are a “main trough”and a “axial trough”in the Okinawa Trough.Liang Ruicai 1,Wu Jinlong 1,Liu Baohua 1,Wang Yong 1,Wang Shugong 1FirstInstituteofOceanography,StateOceanicAdministration,Qingdao266061,China 2001Acta Oceanologica Sinica2001,20,1:2

Hydrothermal activities and related antimony mineralization in Shalagang mine of southern Tibet显示文摘1 Introduction Shalagang mine, the largest antimony deposit in southern Tibet,is located in the west of Longma Town,Jiangzi County,to the east is the anticlinorium of Jiangzibasin. The exposed strata in the mine area are the Upper Cretaceous Zongzhuo Formation(a set of sedimentary chaotic melange)and the Lower CretaceousHE Junguo ZHOU Yongzhang WANG Shugong ZHANG Yanlong 2017Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,S1:1
The Effect of Jump on Evaluating Natural Resource Investments显示文摘The evaluation of mining and other natural resource projects is made particularly difficult by the high degree of uncertainty attaching to output prices. It is shown that the techniques of continuous time arbitrage and stochastic control theory may be used not only to value such projects but also to determine the optimal policies for developing managing. This paper describes a model for evaluating natural resource investments under uncertainty from a new perspective. The previous works in this field mostly regard the movements of natural resource prices as a continuous GBM process, which pays few attentions to the shock of unexpected bad news. Our model provides the first theoretical method to analyze the impact of such 'jump' on investment decisions. It concludes that the more frequently bad news happens, the earlier a project will be invested.Yang Haisheng, Zhou Yongzhang, Wang Shugong Center for Earth Environment & Resources, Zhongshan University, Guangzhou 510275, China Institute of Environmental Science, Zhongshan University, Guangzhou 510275, China 2004Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2004,2,4:1
Fringe View: Problems and Construction of Human Settlement Environment for 'Village-in-City'显示文摘The construction of human settlement environment is one of the important contents in the domain of sustainable development. We try to annotate human settlement environment for 'village- in-city' from the angle of fringe view. According to the macro-system thought of human settlement environment science, the evolvement, which can be generalized into four phases, connotation and problems (including social, economic, and environmental problems) of 'village-in-city' are discussed primarily in this paper. Some domestic and international researches and practices are also summarized and assessed in the paper. Based on the analysis, some appropriate clues and suggestions for the construction of 'village-in-city' have been put forward.Mo Chuangrong , Li Xia , Wang Shugong 1 1,2 & Chen Xingeng 1 1.
