1Paleoproterozoic volcanic rocks in the southern margin of the North China Craton, central China:Implications for the Columbia supercontinent显示文摘The volcanic rocks of the Xiong’er Group are situated in the southern margin of the North China Craton(NCC).Research on the Xiong er Group is important to understand the tectonic evolution of the NCC and the Columbia supercontinent during the Paleoproterozoic.In this study,to constrain the age of the Xiong’er volcanic rocks and identify its tectonic environment,we report zircon LA-ICP-MS data with Hf isotope,whole-rock major and trace element compositions and Sr-Nd-Pb-Hf isotopes of the volcanic rocks of the Xiong’er Group.The Xiong’er volcanic rocks mainly consist of basaltic andesite,andesite.dacite and rhyolite,with minor basalt.Our new sets of data combined with those from previous studies indicate that Xiong’er volcanism should have lasted from 1827 Ma to 1746 Ma as the major phase of the volcanism.These volcanics have extremely low MgO.Cr and Ni contents,are enriched in LREEs and LILEs but depleted in HFSEs(Nb,Ta,and Ti),similar to arc-related volcanic rocks.They are characterized by negative zirconεHft values of-17.4 to 8.8,whole-rock initial 87Sr/86Sr values of 0.7023 to 0.7177 andεNd(t)values of-10.9 to 6.4.and Pb isotopes(206Pb/204Pb=14.366-16.431,207Pb/204Pb=15.106-15.371,208Pb/204Pb=32.455-37.422).The available elemental and Sr-Nd-Pb-Hf isotope data suggest that the Xiong’er volcanic rocks were sourced from a mantle contaminated by continental crust.The volcanic rocks of the Xiong’er Group might have been generated by high-degree partial melting of a lithospheric mantle that was originally modified by oceanic subduction in the Archean.Thus,we suggest that the subduction-modified lithospheric mantle occurred in an extensional setting during the breakup of the Columbia supercontinent in the Late Paleoproterozoic,rather than in an arc setting.Changming Wang Xinyu He Emmanuel John M. 2Impending HRT wave precursors to the Wenchuan M_s8.0 earthquake and methods of earthquake impending prediction by using HRT wave显示文摘We deployed four geo-electric monitoring stations in Sichuan and Yunnan provinces from 2004, using the new generation of equipment (PS-100) and technologies to capture the HRT wave earthquake precursor. Before the Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake, we recorded the HRT wave precursor at the only operating station in Hongge (HG, Δ=465 km) and found that significant impending signal had been recorded at the station in the early morning ( 0―5 am) of 12th of May, 2008. The precursor for this earthquake is consistent with precursors recorded for other strong earthquakes. The measured physical properties (geo-resistivity and telluric-current) show tidal wave period oscillations from several days to several months before the earthquakes and the amplitude of such HT oscillation increases significantly towards the occurrence of an earthquake. These HT and RT waves from the epicenter have a causal relationship with the earthquakes that happened several days later. The arrival time of two RT waves is proportional to the distance from the station to the epicenter. The estimated natural decay of the amplitude is correlated with the natural period (T0) of the earthquake fault, which is proportional to the fault length. From this relationship, we can predict the earthquake magnitude. For magnitude 6―9 earthquakes, the natural period is about 1―6 hours. Such oscillation comes from the epicenter area and they can propagate several thousand kilometers in the Earth's crust. Before a strong earthquake in the shallow crust, the conductive pore fluid will experience major changes before the fault rapture. Such fluid change will emit an oscillation in the pore fluid pressure. This is the mechanism for the HRT wave generation. Since the China Earthquake Administration funded the HRT wave short-term earth-quake prediction project in 2003, the first record of HRT precursor wave has been recorded from the 2004-12-26 Sumatra Mw9.0 earthquake with the largest epicentre distance Δ=2900 km. Thereafter, we have captured HRT waves from more than twenty strong earthquakes, which are well-matched and show repeatability, consistency and regularity. All our observation with the HRT waves demonstrate that HRT wave precursors to earthquakes indeed exist. Strong earthquakes can be predicted and short-term and impending earthquake prediction is achievable in the very near future. 3Resilience enhancement strategy using microgrids in distribution network显示文摘We propose a restoration strategy using microgrids for restoring power supply to critical loads after an extreme event and thereby enhancing the resilience of the distribution power grid. The limited capacities of distributed generators(DGs) within the microgrids and those of intermittent energy sources such as wind and photovoltaic power are considered. An enhanced strategy model of the distribution network is established for maximizing the power supply to critical loads. Firstly, the importance of the load is quantified by using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and the model of the microgrid output is further improved. In the demand response mechanism, an interruptible load is used to suppress the fluctuation in the distributed power output. Secondly, piecewise linearization method is applied to address the power flow constraints. Then, the resilience enhancement model of the distribution network is transformed into a mixed integer quadratic programming problem. The CPLEX solver is adopted to solve the above problem on the MATLAB platform. 4Risk-averse Market Clearing for Coupled Electricity, Natural Gas and District Heating System显示文摘Multiple energy carriers can be coupled as an Integrated Energy System (IES) through interconnection tech- nologies. Unexpected risks will be transferred with the growing coupling of energy systems, mainly stemming from the uncertain- ties in different energy sectors. It is imperative to coordinate the operation of different energy systems to improve energy efficiency and ensure energy security. With the close integration of different energy systems, it is necessary to couple these different energy markets to achieve the holistic energy supply economy. On the other hand, uncertainties in the energy systems will bring the financial risk for the operator of IES. A risk-averse stochastic market clearing model for the IES is proposed to study the operating strategy aiming at minimizing the operation cost. While the financial risk imposed by the wind power uncertainties is restricted to a predefined level. 6Comparing Competition Equilibrium with Nash Equilibrium in Electric Power Market显示文摘The Nash equilibrium and competition equilibrium have been widely studied in the electric power market up to now.In this paper,it is explained that the Nash equilibrium can be achieved by using marginal cost pricing and the com-petition equilibrium can be performed by using accounting cost pricing based on the model of the power market system.The comparison between the Nash equilibrium and competition equilibrium indicates that surplus and unfair allocation of market benefits may be obtained by the Nash equilibrium,and the competition equilibrium realizes the optimization in economics with maximum market efficiency and fairness for market benefit allocations while the optimization in mathematics is achieved by the Nash equilibrium.There is sameness between the Nash equilibrium and competition equilibrium at the point when the power network characteristics are disregarded.The case study is made on a IEEE 30-bus system,and the calculation results indicate that it is the key issue to perform the competition equilibrium by using accounting cost pricing.Haibing Wang Jian Deng Chengmin Wang Weiqing Sun Ning Xie 2018CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,3:4

8Multidrug-resistant Proteus mirabilis isolates carrying blaOXA-1 and blaNDM-1 from wildlife in China:increasing public health risk显示文摘The emergence of multidrug resistance(MDR)in Proteus mirabilis clinical isolates is a growing public health concern and has serious implications for wildlife.What is the role of wildlife has been become one of the hot issues in disseminating antimicrobial resistance.Here,54 P.mirabilis isolates from 12 different species were identified.Among them,25 isolates were determined to be MDR by profile of antimicrobial susceptibility;10 MDR P.mirabilis isolates were subjected to comparative genomic analysis by whole genome sequencing.Comprehensive analysis showed that chromosome of P.mirabilis isolates mainly carries multidrug-resistance complex elements harboring resistance to carbapenem genes blaOXA-1,blaNDM-1,and blaTEM-1.Class I integron is the insertion hotspot of IS26;it can be inserted into type I integron at different sites,thus forming a variety of multiple drug resistance decision sites.At the same time,Tn21,Tn7,and SXT/R391 mobile elements cause widespread spread of these drug resistance genes.In conclusion,P.mirabilis isolates from wildlife showed higher resistance to commonly used clinic drugs comparing to those from human.Therefore,wild animals carrying MDR clinical isolates should be paid attention to by the public health.Qian KANG Xue WANG Jianan ZHAO Zhihui LIU Fang JI Han CHANG Jianchun YANG Shijia HU Ting JIA Xiaojia WANG Jiagui TANG Guoying DONG Guocheng HU Jing WANG Yanyu ZHANG Jianhua QIN Chengmin WANG 2021Integrative Zoology2021,16,6:4
9Analysis of basic conditions of the power grid interconnection among Xinjiang, Pakistan, and five Central Asian countries显示文摘Inter-regional and transnational grid interconnection is necessary for energy development. Xinjiang, which is rich in renewable energy resources, is adjacent to countries in Central Asia and has great potential for interconnection with its neighbors. This paper outlines China's relevant policies for transnational power interconnection, and introduces the energy structure, load demand endowments, and power supply status of Xinjiang, Pakistan, and five Central Asian countries. Further, it analyzes the advantages of the multinational power interconnection from the aspects of power supply and load complementation. Finally, from the perspective of technical support and practical basis, the feasibility of interconnection between Xinjiang, Pakistan, and five Central Asian countries have been analyzed.
