1Big earth data analytics on Sentinel-1 and Landsat imagery in support to global human settlements mapping显示文摘Continuous global-scale mapping of human settlements in the service of international agreements calls for massive volume of multi-source,multi-temporal,and multi-scale earth observation data.In this paper,the latest developments in terms of processing big earth observation data for the purpose of improving the Global Human Settlement Layer(GHSL)data are presented.Two experiments with Sentinel-1 and Landsat data collections were run leveraging on the Joint Research Centre Earth Observation Data and Processing Platform.A comparative analysis of the results of built-up areas extraction from different remote sensing data and processing workflows shows how the information production supported by data-intensive computing infrastructure for optimization and multiple testing can improve the output information reliability and consistency within the GHSL scope.The paper presents the processing workflows and the results of the two main experiments,giving insights into the enhanced mapping capabilities gained by analyzing Sentinel-1 and Landsat data-sets,and the lessons learnt in terms of handling and processing big earth observation data.Christina Corbane Martino Pesaresi Panagiotis Politis Vasileios Syrris Aneta JFlorczyk Pierre Soille Luca Maffenini Armin Burger Veselin Vasilev Dario Rodriguez Filip Sabo Lewis Dijkstra Thomas Kemper 2017Big Earth Data2017,1,1:3
2浮冰碰撞下船舶舱室瞬态噪声分析及控制显示文摘论文针对在冰区航行船舶受到浮冰碰撞时产生的舱室瞬态噪声问题,结合虚拟模态法和统计能量法,将浮冰碰撞载荷作用形式简化成三角波时域曲线,计算浮冰碰撞作用下船体结构的冲击响应。对比在开阔水域和浮冰水域航行时的船舶舱室噪声特性,浮冰冲击导致船首附近舱室噪声声压级显著增加,船员舱室噪声增加了12.7 dB(A)。通过在船首敷设阻尼、布置加强筋等措施抑制受浮冰碰撞区域的冲击响应及其能量传递。结果显示在船首敷设阻尼后,生活工作舱室瞬态噪声平均降低3~5 dB(A),在船首布置横向加强筋比较纵向加强筋更有利于降低舱室瞬态噪声,布置正交加强筋使生活工作舱室瞬态噪声平均降低5.69 dB(A)。研究方法对极地航行船舶舱室的瞬态噪声预报及舒适性评估具有借鉴意义。温华兵 吴俊杰 马正刚 Vasilev Evgeni 2020中国造船2020,61,3:2

5Origins of high ductility exhibited by an extruded magnesium alloy Mg-1.8Zn-0.2Ca:Experiments and crystal plasticity modeling显示文摘Low ductility and strength are major bottlenecks against Mg alloys’wide applications.In this work,we systematically design the composition and fabrication process for a low-alloyed Mg-Zn-Ca alloy,showing that it can be extruded at low temperatures(~250℃)and high speeds(~2 mm/s).After the extrusion,this alloy exhibits a substantially weakened basal texture,relatively small grain size,very high tensile elongation(~30%),and good strength.The origin of the considerably improved ductility was studied using a combination of three-dimensional atom probe tomography(3D-APT),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD)in conjunction with surface slip trace analysis,in-situ synchrotron X-ray diffraction,and elasto-plastic self-consistent(EPSC)modeling.Co-segregation of Zn and Ca atoms at a grain boundary is observed and associated with texture weakening and grain boundary mediated plasticity,both improving the ductility.While basal slip and prismatic slip are identified as the dominant deformation systems in the alloy,the ratio between their slip resistances is substantially reduced relative to pure Mg and most other Mg alloys,significantly contributing to the improved ductility of the alloy.This Mg-Zn-Ca alloy exhibiting excellent mechanical properties and low fabrication cost is a promising candidate for industrial productions.Jie Wang Gaoming Zhu Leyun Wang Evgenii Vasilev Jun-Sang Park Gang Sha Xiaoqin Zeng Marko Knezevic 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,25:2
