| 1 | Stability control of surrounding rocks for a coal roadway in a deep tectonic region显示文摘In order to effectively control the deformation and failure of surrounding rocks in a coal roadway in a deep tectonic region, the deformation and failure mechanism and stability control mechanism were studied. With such methods as numerical simulation and field testing, the distribution law of the displacement, stress and plastic zone in the surrounding rocks was analyzed. The deformation and failure mechanisms of coal roadways in deep tectonic areas were revealed: under high tectonic stress, two sides will slide along the roof or floor; while the plastic zone of the two sides will extend along the roof or floor,leading to more serious deformation and failure in the corner of two sides and the bolt supporting the corners is readily cut off by the shear force or tension force. Aimed at controlling the large slippage deformation of the two sides, serious deformation and failure in the corners of the two sides and massive bolt breakage, a ‘‘controlling and yielding coupling support'' control technology is proposed. Firstly, bolts which do not pass through the bedding plane should be used in the corners of the roadway, allowing the two sides to have some degree of sliding to achieve the purpose of ‘‘yielding'' support, and which avoid breakage of the bolts in the corner. After yielding support, bolts in the corner of the roadway and which pass through the bedding plane should be used to control the deformation and failure of the coal in the corner. ‘‘Controlling and yielding coupling support'' technology has been successfully applied in engineering practice, and the stability of deep coal roadway has been greatly improved. | Xiao Tongqiang Wang Xiangyu Zhang Zhigao | 2014 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2014,24,2: | 16 |
| 2 | CFD-DEM simulation of the pneumatic conveying of fine particles through a horizontal slit显示文摘Fine particles play a significant role in many industrial processes.To study the dynamic behavior of fine particle and their deposition in rock fractures,the pneumatic conveying of fine particles(approximately100 μm in diameter) through a small-scale horizontal slit(0.41 m × 0.025 m) was studied,which is useful for the sealing technology of underground gas drainage in coal mining production.The CFD-DEM method was adopted to model the gas-particle two-phase flow;the gas phase was treated as a continuum and modeled using computational fluid dynamics(CFD),particle motion and collisions were simulated using the DEM code.Then,the bulk movement of fine particles through a small-scale horizontal slit was explored numerically,and the flow patterns were further investigated by visual inspection.The simulation results indicated that stratified flow or dune flow can be observed at low gas velocities.For intermediate gas velocities,the flow patterns showed pulsation phenomena,and dune flow reappeared in the tail section.Moreover,periodic flow regimes with alternating thick and sparse stream structures were observed at a high gas velocity.The simulation results of the bulk movement of fine particles were in good agreement with the experimental findings,which were obtained by video-imaging experiments.Furthermore,the calculated pressure drop versus gas velocity profile was investigated and compared with relative experimental findings,and the results showed good agreement.Furthermore,the particle velocity vectors and voidage distribution were numerically simulated.Selected stimulation results are presented and provide a reference for the further study of fine particles. | Fubao Zhou Shengyong Hu Yingke Liu Chun Liu Tongqiang Xia | 2014 | Particuology2014,12,5: | 10 |

| 4 | Failure mechanism and stability control technology of rock surrounding a roadway in complex stress conditions显示文摘To solve the problem of supporting three downhill coal structures in the Yongan Coal Mine of Shanxi Jincheng, we studied the regular development of stress and plastic zones and characteristics of deformation of rock surrounding roadway groups after a period of roadway driving, mining one side as well as mining both sides, we used FLAC 3D for our numerical and theoretical analyses. Field test were carried out, where we revealed the deformation mechanism of roadways and its coal pillars in complex stress conditions. We proposed a roadway stability control technology using backwall grouting with high-water rapid hardening material and combined support with bolt and cable anchoring after mining both sides. | 5 | Seasonal variation in particle contribution and aerosol types in Shanghai based on satellite data from MODIS and CALIOP显示文摘Although the concentration of atmospheric particulate matter in Shanghai has declined in recent years,aerosols remain one of the major pollutants affecting air quality.Herein,spatio-seasonal variation in aerosol optical properties and aerosol types were studied overa 10-year period(2006-2015)in Shanghai,China,using satellite data from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)and CloudAerosol Lidar with Orthogonal Polarization(CALIOP).The average aerosol optical depth values for central urban and suburban areas of Shanghai were between 0.9 and 1.0.Clear seasonal variation in aerosol concentrations occurred,causing strongest attenuation in summer and weakest attenuation in autumn.Polluted dust,polluted continental(urban/industrial)and smoke aerosols were the main aerosol types.Desert dust aerosols occurred in the Shanghai area at higher altitudes(greater than 3 km)in spring,related to dusty weather in the north;while in winter,smoke aerosols occurred at high altitudes,related to haze pollution in the north.The aerosols detected in autumn were mainly from local sources,comprising polluted dust,polluted continental,and smoke aerosols.Aerosols in Shanghai clearly reflect both local and regional sources at different times. | Qiong Liu Xin Liu Tongqiang Liu Yanming Kang Yonghang Chen Jiming Li Hua Zhang | 2020 | Particuology2020,18,4: | 2 |

| 10 | A BFSK and OOK IF demodulation circuit with 2.8 μs settling time and re-configurable image rejection functions for MICS/BCC applications显示文摘A BFSK and OOK IF base-band circuit is provided to implement the low-IF RF receivers for a dualband MICS/BCC network controller. In order to transfer the massive vital data immediately, the IF circuit is comprised of the fast-settling feed-forward programmable gain amplifier(PGA), a G_m-C complex filter, the fixed gain amplifier(FGA) and a 4-input 'quadratic sum' demodulator. A novel auto-switched coarse gain-setting method is adopted in the PGA to enhance the reaction speed and narrow the output signal range. Also the PGA does not suffer the same stability constraint as open-loop topologies. The complex filter fulfills the function of image rejection,in which the center frequency and bandwidth can be adjusted individually. The FGA is used to ameliorate the linearity and the 'quadratic sum' demodulator can reduce the overall power consumption. The designed IF circuit is fabricated with SMIC 0.18 μm CMOS process. The chip area is about 5.36 mm^2.
