| 10 | Influence of Additive Silica on the Laser Melting of the Ceramic Coatings显示文摘The influence of additive silica on the microstructure of plasma sprayed Al2O3 and Al2O3+13 wt pct TiO2 ceramiccoatings at laser melting has been investigated in this study. At the laser melting, additive silica in Al2O3 ceramiccoating can reduce the stress of cooling shrinkage generated during solidification. Moreover, silica can render finersize of grains of the melting layer and form continuous glassy matter around the grain boundaries so as to reducefurther the cooling stresses and to suppress the formation and spreading of cracks. On the other hand, at the lasermelting, TiO2 reacts with Al2O3 and transforms into TiAl2Os. The latter new phase has great and anisotropiccoefficients of thermal expansion leading to big and asymmetrical stresses and thus to form cracks in the meltinglayer of Al2O3+13 wt pct TiO2 coating. Due to the fact that the influence of additive silica on the suppression of theformation of cracks is rather limited and cannot counterbalance the negative effect of TiAl2O5, thus the melting layerof Al2O3+13 wt pct TiO2 coating doped with 3 wt pct SiO2 cracks also. | 14 | Preparation and characterization of TiO_2 photoelectrode codoped with aluminum and boron and its application in dye-sensitized solar cell显示文摘Nanocrystalline titania films codoped with aluminum and boron were prepared by cathodic vacuum arc deposition. In the process, titanium alloy target was used under an O2/Ar atmosphere, and sensitization of films were carried out by natural dye-sensitized complex in anhydrous ethanol. The structure, surface morphology and UV-vis spectra of titania films codoped were measured by X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy and ultraviolet-visible spectrometer. The as-deposited films are found to be amorphous. The films annealed were examined to be of anatase structure with orientation along the (101) planes, the average crystal size is in the range between 41 and 45 nm. SEM results show that there are some pores in the codoped titania films, the optical properties of the dye-sensitized films were also measured which reveals that the spectral responses of films shift to the visible region. | 15 | Nonlinear simulation of arch dam cracking with mixed finite element method显示文摘This paper proposes a new, simple and efficient method for nonlinear simulation of arch dam cracking from the construction period to the operation period, which takes into account the arch dam construction process and temperature loads. In the calculation mesh, the contact surface of pair nodes is located at places on the arch dam where cracking is possible. A new effective iterative method, the mixed finite element method for friction-contact problems, is improved and used for nonlinear simulation of the cracking process. The forces acting on the structure are divided into two parts: external forces and contact forces. The displacement of the structure is chosen as the basic variable and the nodal contact force in the possible contact region of the local coordinate system is chosen as the iterative variable, so that the nonlinear iterative process is only limited within the possible contact surface and is much more economical. This method was used to simulate the cracking process of the Shuanghe Arch Dam in Southwest China. In order to prove the validity and accuracy of this method and to study the effect of thermal stress on arch dam cracking, three schemes were designed for calculation.
