2Precise nanomedicine for intelligent therapy of cancer显示文摘Precise nanomedicine has been extensively explored for efficient cancer imaging and targeted cancer therapy, as evidenced by a few breakthroughs in their preclinical and clinical explorations. Here, we demonstrate the recent advances of intelligent cancer nanomedicine, and discuss the comprehensive understanding of their structure-function relationship for smart and efficient cancer nanomedicine including various imaging and therapeutic applications, as well as nanotoxicity. In particular, a few emerging strategies that have advanced cancer nanomedicine are also highlighted as the emerging focus such as tumor imprisonment, supramolecular chemotherapy, and DNA nanorobot. The challenge and outlook of some scientific and engineering issues are also discussed in future development. 3A DC Grid Benchmark Model for Studies of Interconnection of Power Systems显示文摘Reducing carbon emissions in the power sector is critical for transitioning to a sustainable and low-carbon future.Estimating carbon efficiency of demand side response(DSR)in the power system is an important step towards realizing potential environmental benefits.Marginal emission factor(MEF)is an effective tool for estimating incremental changes in carbon emissions as a result of a change in demand.However,estimation methods currently used for evaluating MEF can be improved upon,specifically,by factoring in the ramp-rate constraint of generators in the fuel cost based merit order dispatch.In this paper is described a new method for MEF assessment under ramp-rate constraints;the method is then compared with two conventional estimations in a British power system.Three fuel price scenarios are used to conduct a sensitivity analysis of MEFs to fuel prices.Conclusions are drawn that can pave the way for future improvements in estimating MEF in power systems.Ting An Xiaoxin Zhou Congda Han Yanan Wu Zhiyuan He Hui Pang Guangfu Tang 2015CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2015,1,4:17
4Effects of maize-soybean relay intercropping on crop nutrient uptake and soil bacterial community显示文摘Maize-soybean relay intercropping is an effective approach to improve the crop yield and nutrient use efficiency,which is widely practiced by farmers in southwest of China.To elucidate the characteristics of different planting patterns on crop nutrient uptake,soil chemical properties,and soil bacteria community in maize-soybean relay intercropping systems,we conducted a field experiment in 2015–2016 with single factor treatments,including monoculture maize(MM),monoculture soybean(MS),maize-soybean relay intercropping(IMS),and fallow(CK).The results showed that the N uptake of maize grain increased in IMS compared with MM.Compared with MS,the yield and uptake of N,P,and K of soybean grain were increased by 25.5,24.4,9.6,and 22.4%in IMS,respectively,while the N and K uptakes in soybean straw were decreased in IMS.The soil total nitrogen,available phosphorus,and soil organic matter contents were significantly higher in IMS than those of the corresponding monocultures and CK.Moreover,the soil protease,soil urease,and soil nitrate reductase activities in IMS were higher than those of the corresponding monocultures and CK.The phyla Proteobacteria,Acidobacteria,Chloroflexi,and Actinobacteria dominated in all treatments.Shannon’s index in IMS was higher than that of the corresponding monocultures and CK.The phylum Proteobacteria proportion was positively correlated with maize soil organic matter and soybean soil total nitrogen content,respectively.These results indicated that the belowground interactions increased the crop nutrient(N and P)uptake and soil bacterial community diversity,both of which contributed to improved soil nutrient management for legume-cereal relay intercropping systems.FU Zhi-dan ZHOU Li CHEN Ping DU Qing PANG Ting SONG Chun WANG Xiao-chun LIU Wei-guo YANG Wen-yu YONG Tai-wen 2019Journal of Integrative Agriculture2019,18,9:17

6Comparison of different methods of intestinal obstruction in a rat model显示文摘AIM:To investigate different methods of creating incomplete intestinal obstruction in a rat model and to compare their electrophysiologic,morphologic and histologic characteristics. METHODS:Rat ileum was partially obstructed by the respective application of:braided silk(penetrated the mesentery and surrounded intestine);half ligation (penetrated directly and ligated 1/2 cross-section of the intestine);wide pipe(6 mm in width,surrounded the intestine);narrow pipe(2 mm in width,surrounded the intestine).A control was also included(no obstruction). Various behavioral and electrophysiologic variables, as well as morphologic and immunohistochemical observations were recorded by blinded investigators at different time points(12,24,48,72 h),including daily general condition,ileal wet weight and circumference, macromorphous and micromorphous intestine,bowel movement capability in vivo and in vitro,slow wave and neural electrical activity,and the number of c-Kit positive interstitial cells of Cajal(ICC). RESULTS:Despite being of a similar general condition, these methods resulted in different levels of obstruction in each group compared with the control at different time points(12,24,48,72 h).However,these fields of the wide pipe rat showed significantly differences when compared with the other three obstructed groups at 12 to 72 h,including macroscopic and histological presentation,intestinal transit ratio and contractility,circumference and wet weight,amplitude and frequency of nerve electrical discharge and slow wave,and ICC numbers(all P<0.01). 9Superior intestinal integrity and limited microbial translocation are associated with lower immune activation in SIVmac239-infected northern pig-tailed macaques(Macaca leonina)显示文摘Microbial translocation is a cause of systemic immune activation in HIV/SIV infection. In the present study, we found a lower CD8+ T cell activation level in Macaca leonina (northern pig-tailed macaques, NPMs) than in Macaca mulatta (Chinese rhesus macaques, ChRMs) during SIVmac239 infection. Furthermore, the levels of plasma LPS-binding protein and soluble CD14 in NPMs were lower than those in ChRMs. Compared with ChRMs, SIV-infected NPMs had lower Chiu scores, representing relatively normal intestinal mucosa. 10A New Arthropod,Guangweicaris Luo,Fu et Hu gen. nov. from the Early Cambrian Guanshan Fauna,Kunming,China显示文摘The Guanshan Fauna is a soft-bodied fauna dominated by arthropods (including trilobites, trilobitoides, Tuzoia, Isoxys, and bradorids) in association with priapulids, brachiopods, anomalocaridids, vetulicoliids, sponges, chancellorids, and echinoderms. This paper reports and describes a new arthropod from the yellowish green mudstone at the lower part of the Wulongqing Formation, Canglangpuan Stage, Lower Cambrian in Kunming, Yunnan, China. The stratigraphic and geographic distribution, classification, fossil preservation, life style of this new arthropod and comparisons with other fossil arthropods are also discussed in details. The discovery and research of the non-mineralized arthropod, Guangweicaris Luo, Fu et Hu gen. nov. from the Guanshan Fauna adds new members to the taxonomic list and provides new information to the evolution of early arthropods. 11Childhood BMI and Adult Obesity in a Chinese Sample:A 13-Year Follow-up Study显示文摘Objective Obesity is recognized as a significant risk factor for diabetes and hypertension. The present study aimed to examine the associations between adults' obesity risk and childhood and parental obesity. Methods A total of 204 children aged 6-17 years were recruited in 2002 with an average follow-up period of 13.2 years. Height and body weight were measured by trained staffs. Overweight and obesity were defined based on the Chinese standard for children and adults. T-test, analysis of variance, and Chi-square analysis were used for single factor analysis. Multiple linear and logistic regression analyses were used to perform multifactor analysis. Results The percentage of non-obese children who grew up to be non-obese adults was 62.6%, and that of obese children who grew up to be obese adults was 80.0%. There was a significant association between childhood body mass index(BMI) and adulthood BMI with a β regression coefficient of 3.76 [95% confidence interval(CI): 1.36-6.16], and between childhood obesity and adulthood obesity with an odds ratio of 5.76(95% CI: 1.37-24.34). There was no statistical difference between parental obesity at baseline and children's adulthood obesity, after adjustment of confounders. Male participants and those aged 10.0-13.0 years had a higher risk of adulthood obesity with odds ratios of 2.50(95% CI: 1.12-5.26) and 3.62(95% CI: 1.17-11.24), respectively. 12CDER167,a dual inhibitor of URAT1 and GLUT9,is a novel and potent uricosuric candidate for the treatment of hyperuricemia显示文摘Urate transporter 1(URAT1)and glucose transporter 9(GLUT9)are important targets for the development of uric acid-lowering drugs.We previously showed that the flexible linkers of URAT1 inhibitors could enhance their potency.In this study we designed and synthesized CDER167,a novel RDEA3710 analogue,by introducing a linker(methylene)between the naphthalene and pyridine rings to increase flexibility,and characterized its pharmacological and pharmacokinetics properties in vitro and in vivo.We showed that CDER167 exerted dual-target inhibitory effects on both URAT1 and GLUT9:CDER167 concentration-dependently inhibited the uptake of[^(14)C]-uric acid in URAT1-expressing HEK293 cells with an IC_(50) value of 2.08±0.31μM,which was similar to that of RDEA3170(its IC_(50) value was 1.47±0.23μM).Using site-directed mutagenesis,we demonstrated that CDER167 might interact with URAT1 at S35 and F365.In GLUT9-expressing HEK293T cells,CDER167 concentration-dependently inhibited GLUT9 with an IC_(50) value of 91.55±15.28μM,whereas RDEA3170 at 100μM had no effect on GLUT9.In potassium oxonate-induced hyperuricemic mice,oral administration of CDER167(10 mg·kg^(−1)·d^(−1))for 7 days was more effective in lowering uric acid in blood and significantly promoted uric acid excretion in urine as compared with RDEA3170(20 mg·kg^(−1)·d^(−1))administered.The animal experiment proved the safety of CDER167.In addition,CDER167 displayed better bioavailability than RDEA3170,better metabolic stability and no hERG toxicity at 100μM.These results suggest that CDER167 deserves further investigation as a candidate antihyperuricemic drug targeting URAT1 and GLUT9.Ze-an Zhao Yu Jiang Yan-yu Chen Ting Wu Qun-sheng Lan Yong-mei Li Lu Li Yang Yang Cui-ting Lin Ying Cao Ping-zheng Zhou Jia-yin Guo Yuan-xin Tian Jian-xin Pang 2022Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2022,43,1:4
13Subculturing cells have no effect on CRISPR/Cas9-mediated cleavage of UL30 gene in pseudorabies virus显示文摘CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing can inhibit virus infection by targeting the conserved regions of the viral genomic DNA. Unexpectedly, we found previously that pseudorabies virus(PRV) could escape from CRISPR/Cas9-mediated inhibition.In order to elucidate whether the escape of PRV from Cas9-mediated inhibition was due to cell deficiencies, such as genetic instability of sgRNA or Cas9 protein, the positive cells were passaged ten times, and PRV infection in the sgRNA-expressing cells was evaluated in the present study. The results showed that subculturing cells has no effect on Cas9-mediated cleavage of PRV. Different passages of PX459-PRV cells can stably express sgRNA to facilitate Cas9/sgRNA cleavage on the UL30 gene of PRV, resulting in a pronounced inhibition of PRV infection. 14A Text Similarity Measurement Based on Semantic Fingerprint of Characteristic Phrases显示文摘Text similarity measurements are the basis for measuring the degree of matching between two or more texts. Traditional large-scale similarity detection methods based on a digital fingerprint have the advantage of high detection speed, which are only suitable for accurate detection. We propose a method of Chinese text similarity measurement based on feature phrase semantics.Natural language processing(NLP) technology is used to pre-process text and extract the keywords by the Term frequency-Inverse document frequency(TF-IDF) model and further screen out the feature words. We get the exact meaning of a word and semantic similarities between words and a How Net semantic dictionary. We substitute concepts to get the feature phrases and generate a semantic fingerprint and calculate similarity. 16An investigation on a novel PDLC film's fabrication and its electro-optical properties显示文摘A polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) film that has good electro-optical properties is produced by the method of polymerized-induced phase separation. Based on the application foreground, its capability parameters, such as contrast ratio, work voltage, and visual angle, are characterized for the first time by a white light but not a fixed wavelength light. The results show the PDLC film has a low work-voltage of 20 V, more than 150° visual angle, high stability, and long lifetime. The differences between plastic and glass ITO-coated substrates of PDLC films are also studied in this paper. The plastic substrate has better property and will have a wider perspective especially in the portable, tender and folded display devices. 20Constructing an Educational Knowledge Graph with Concepts Linked to Wikipedia显示文摘To use educational resources efficiently and dig out the nature of relations among MOOCs(massive open online courses),a knowledge graph was built for MOOCs on four major platforms:Coursera,EDX,XuetangX,and ICourse.This paper demonstrates the whole process of educational knowledge graph construction for reference.And this knowledge graph,the largest knowledge graph of MOOC resources at present,stores and represents five classes,11 kinds of relations and 52779 entities with their corresponding properties,amounting to more than 300000 triples.Notably,24188 concepts are extracted from text attributes of MOOCs and linked them directly with corresponding Wikipedia entries or the closest entries calculated semantically,which provides the normalized representation of knowledge and a more precise description for MOOCs far more than enriching words with explanatory links.Besides,prerequisites discovered by direct extractions are viewed as an essential supplement to augment the connectivity in the knowledge graph.This knowledge graph could be considered as a collection of unified MOOC resources for learners and the abundant data for researchers on MOOC-related applications,such as prerequisites mining.Fu-Rong Dang Jin-Tao Tang Kun-Yuan Pang Ting Wang Sha-Sha Li Xiao Li 2021Journal of Computer Science & Technology2021,36,5:2
