| 3 | Development of new Ti_(50)Zr_(25)Nb_(20)Cu_(5-x)Ag_(x)high-entropy alloys with excellent antibacterial property,osteo-conductivity and biocompatibility in vitro and in vivo显示文摘A new series of medical antibacterial high-entropy alloys(HEAs)with composition Ti 50 Zr 25 Nb 20 Cu 5-x Ag x(x=0 at.%,1 at.%,and 2.5 at.%)were developed by arc-melting the mixture of pure elements under a high-purity argon atmosphere.The cytotoxicity,osteo-conductivity,and antibacterial properties of these HEAs were systematically investigated in vitro,along with their in vivo biocompatibility and antibacte-rial properties.These HEAs,especially Ti_(50)Zr_(25)Nb_(20)Cu_(2.5)Ag_(2.5),showed better antibacterial ability against Staphylococcus aureus than Ti-6Al-4V,which has a nearly 99%antibacterial rate in vitro.Moreover,ion release and cytotoxicity tests showed that these HEAs had excellent biosafety,similar to or better than that of Ti-6Al-4V.Osteoblasts were used to evaluate the osteogenic activity of these HEAs,and good osteo-conductivity was observed in vitro.In a Sprague-Dawley rat infection model,Ti_(50)Zr_(25)Nb_(20)Cu_(2.5)Ag_(2.5)showed remarkable antibacterial properties compared to Ti-6Al-4V.The in vivo biocompatibility results showed that Ti_(50)Zr_(25)Nb_(20)Cu_(2.5)Ag_(2.5)did not increase biotoxicity compared to Ti-6Al-4V.The excellent bio-compatibility and antibacterial properties of the Ti-Zr-Nb-Cu-Ag HEAs are expected to enable the pre-vention of periprosthetic/peri-implant infections in the future. | Bingxiao Yu Talante Juma Hao Wang Xiaotong Bao Xiangyu Cao Zhiwen Wang Rui Wang Xin Yang Taiguo Ning Guanghua Liang Yongping Cao Tao Zhang Zhenpeng Guan | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,10: | 0 |

| 5 | An improved Isomap method for manifold learning显示文摘Purpose-Isometric feature mapping(Isomap)is a very popular manifold learning method and is widely used in dimensionality reduction and data visualization.The most time-consuming step in Isomap is to compute the shortest paths between all pairs of data points based on a neighbourhood graph.The classical Isomap(C-Isomap)is very slow,due to the use of Floyd’s algorithm to compute the shortest paths.The purpose of this paper is to speed up Isomap.Design/methodology/approach-Through theoretical analysis,it is found that the neighbourhood graph in Isomap is sparse.In this case,the Dijkstra’s algorithm with Fibonacci heap(Fib-Dij)is faster than Floyd’s algorithm.In this paper,an improved Isomap method based on Fib-Dij is proposed.By using Fib-Dij to replace Floyd’s algorithm,an improved Isomap method is presented in this paper.Findings-Using the S-curve,the Swiss-roll,the Frey face database,the mixed national institute of standards and technology database of handwritten digits and a face image database,the performance of the proposed method is compared with C-Isomap,showing the consistency with C-Isomap and marked improvements in terms of the high speed.Simulations also demonstrate that Fib-Dij reduces the computation time of the shortest paths from O(N3)to O(N2lgN).Research limitations/implications-Due to the limitations of the computer,the sizes of the data sets in this paper are all smaller than 3,000.Therefore,researchers are encouraged to test the proposed algorithm on larger data sets.Originality/value-The new method based on Fib-Dij can greatly improve the speed of Isomap. | Taiguo Qu Zixing Cai | 2017 | International Journal of Intelligent Computing and Cybernetics2017,10,1: | 0 |

| 8 | Application of DSAPSO Algorithm in Distribution Network Reconfiguration with Distributed Generation显示文摘With the current integration of distributed energy resources into the grid,the structure of distribution networks is becoming more complex.This complexity significantly expands the solution space in the optimization process for network reconstruction using intelligent algorithms.Consequently,traditional intelligent algorithms frequently encounter insufficient search accuracy and become trapped in local optima.To tackle this issue,a more advanced particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed.To address the varying emphases at different stages of the optimization process,a dynamic strategy is implemented to regulate the social and self-learning factors.The Metropolis criterion is introduced into the simulated annealing algorithm to occasionally accept suboptimal solutions,thereby mitigating premature convergence in the population optimization process.The inertia weight is adjusted using the logistic mapping technique to maintain a balance between the algorithm’s global and local search abilities.The incorporation of the Pareto principle involves the consideration of network losses and voltage deviations as objective functions.A fuzzy membership function is employed for selecting the results.Simulation analysis is carried out on the restructuring of the distribution network,using the IEEE-33 node system and the IEEE-69 node system as examples,in conjunction with the integration of distributed energy resources.The findings demonstrate that,in comparison to other intelligent optimization algorithms,the proposed enhanced algorithm demonstrates a shorter convergence time and effectively reduces active power losses within the network.Furthermore,it enhances the amplitude of node voltages,thereby improving the stability of distribution network operations and power supply quality.Additionally,the algorithm exhibits a high level of generality and applicability. | Caixia Tao Shize Yang Taiguo Li | 2024 | Energy Engineering2024,121,1: | 0 |
