| 1 | Synthesis, properties, and applications of graphene oxide/reduced graphene oxide and their nanocomposites显示文摘Thanks to their remarkable mechanical, electrical, thermal, and barrier properties, graphene-based nanocomposites have been a hot area of research in the past decade. Because of their simple top-down synthesis, graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) have opened new possibilities for gas barrier, membrane separation, and stimuli-response characteristics in nanocomposites. Herein, we review the synthesis techniques most commonly used to produce these graphene derivatives, discuss how synthesis affects their key material properties, and highlight some examples of nanocomposites with unique and impressive properties. We specifically highlight their performances in separation applications, stimuli-responsive materials, anti-corrosion coatings, and energy storage. Finally, we discuss the outlook and remaining challenges in the field of practical industrial-scale production and use of graphene-derivative-based polymer nanocomposites. | Andrew T. | 2 | The existing time of Sihetun vertebrate in western Liao-ning,China——Evidence from U-Pb dating of zircon显示文摘In different opinions, the stratigraphic time of the feathered dinosaurs and early birds in Sihetun and its neighboring areas in Beipiao, western Liaoning is appointed to different epoches of eras, such as Late Jurassic, Early Cretaceous and Late Jurassic-Early Cretaceous. Even the recently dating data are still very different. This note first reported the U-Pb age of (125.2±0.9) Ma of zircon separated from tuff of Sihetun vertebrates horizon. The age reveals that Sihetun vertebrate belongs to Early Cretaceous. | 3 | Friction compensation for low velocity control of hydraulic flight motion simulator: A simple adaptive robust approach显示文摘Low-velocity tracking capability is a key performance of flight motion simulator (FMS), which is mainly affected by the nonlinear friction force. Though many compensation schemes with ad hoc friction models have been proposed, this paper deals with low-velocity control without friction model, since it is easy to be implemented in practice. Firstly, a nonlinear model of the FMS middle frame, which is driven by a hydraulic rotary actuator, is built. Noting that in the low velocity region, the unmodeled friction force is mainly characterized by a changing-slowly part, thus a simple adaptive law can be employed to learn this changing-slowly part and compensate it. To guarantee the boundedness of adaptation process, a discontinuous projection is utilized and then a robust scheme is proposed. The controller achieves a prescribed output tracking transient performance and final tracking accuracy in general while obtaining asymptotic output tracking in the absence of modeling errors. In addition, a saturated projection adaptive scheme is proposed to improve the globally learning capability when the velocity becomes large, which might make the previous proposed projection-based adaptive law be unstable. | 4 | Fabrication of asymmetric poly(m-phenylene isophthalamide)nanofiltration membrane for chromium(VI) removal显示文摘The feasibility of employing nanofiltration for the removal of chromium(VI) from wastewater was investigated. Poly (m-phenylene isophthalamide) (PMIA) was used to fabricate asymmetric nanofiltration membrane through the phase-inversion technique. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) were used to characterize the obtained membrane, and the both confirmed a much smoother surface which could reduce membrane fouling. The PMIA membrane showed different rejections to electrolytes in a sequence of Na2SO4 > MgSO4 > NaCl > MgCl2, which was similar to the sequence of the negatively charged nanofiltration membranes. Separation experiments on chromium(VI) solution were conducted at various operating conditions, such as feed concentration, applied pressure and pH. | 5 | Fuzzy robust nonlinear control approach for electro-hydraulic flight motion simulator显示文摘A fuzzy robust nonlinear controller for hydraulic rotary actuators in flight motion simulators is proposed. Compared with other three-order models of hydraulic rotary actuators, the proposed controller based on first-order nonlinear model is more easily applied in practice, whose control law is relatively simple. It not only does not need high-order derivative of desired command,but also does not require the feedback signals of velocity, acceleration and jerk of hydraulic rotary actuators. Another advantage is that it does not rely on any information of friction, inertia force and external disturbing force/torque, which are always difficult to resolve in flight motion simulators. Due to the special composite vane seals of rectangular cross-section and goalpost shape used in hydraulic rotary actuators, the leakage model is more complicated than that of traditional linear hydraulic cylinders. Adaptive multi-input single-output(MISO) fuzzy compensators are introduced to estimate nonlinear uncertain functions about leakage and bulk modulus. Meanwhile, the decomposition of the uncertainties is used to reduce the total number of fuzzy rules. Different from other adaptive fuzzy compensators, a discontinuous projection mapping is employed to guarantee the estimation process to be bounded. | 7 | Freestanding reduced graphene oxide/sodium vanadate composite films for flexible aqueous zinc-ion batteries显示文摘With the booming development of portable and wearable electronic devices, flexible energy storage devices have attracted great attention. Among various energy storage devices, aqueous zinc ion batteries(ZIBs) are one of the promising candidates due to their low cost, good safety, high energy and power densities. However, the conventional cathodes of aqueous ZIBs were often prepared by mixing active materials with binders and conductive additives and then coating them onto current collectors. The resultant cathodes often suffer from unsatisfied flexibility. Herein, we fabricated freestanding reduced graphene oxide/NaV_3O_8·1.5H_2O(RGO/NVO) composite films with interlinked multilayered architecture by a vacuum filtrating process. Such composite films exhibit excellent mechanical property and high electronic conductivity. Owing to unique architecture, they display a high capacity of 410 mA h g^(-1) and excellent cycling performance up to 2000 cycles with a high capacity retention of 94%. Moreover, RGO/NVO composite films can directly serve as the cathodes of flexible aqueous ZIBs. As a proof of concept,flexible ZIBs were assembled based on the composite films. | 8 | Weak signal detection method based on Duffing oscillator with adjustable frequency显示文摘In this paper, we present a new system of weak signal detection based on Duffing oscillator with adjustable frequency, in which the frequency of periodic driving force signal can be fixed at a certain value and make the system to be in a same critical chaotic state. Therefore, by adjusting an adjustable signal frequency,the detection system we propose can detect signals of different frequencies in the same critical chaotic state, and overcome the limitation of the previous system which can only detect a signal of a specific frequency in a critical chaotic state. Meanwhile, we analyzed its system performance according to simulation and designed the circuit of the system. Based on the results of simulation and actual condition, we find the system is effective for weak signal detection. | 9 | mTOR pathway regulates the differentiation of peripheral blood Th2/Treg cell subsets in patients with pemphigus vulgaris显示文摘Pemphigus vulgaris(PV)is a chronic and potentially life-threatening autoimmune blistering disease.Aberrant mTOR pathway activity is involved in many autoimmune diseases.This study investigated the correlation of mTOR pathway(PI3K/AKT/mTOR/p70S6K)activity with the loss of balance in T helper 2/regulatory T(Th2/Treg)cells in the peripheral blood of PV patients.CD4^(+)T cells were isolated from 15 PV patients and 15 healthy controls(HCs),the ratios of Th2/CD4^(+)T cells and Treg/CD4^(+)T cells,the activity of the mTOR pathway(PI3K/AKT/mTOR/p70S6K),the transcription factors and cytokines of Th2 and Treg cells were detected.Primary CD4^(+)T cells from PV patients were cultured under Th2-or Treg-polarizing conditions with or without rapamycin in vitro.We found that PV patients showed significantly elevated serum IL-4 when compared with HCs,and serum IL-4 level was positively correlated with the titer of anti-Dsg1/3 antibody and disease severity,while the serum TGF-βlevel was negatively correlated with the titer of anti-Dsg3 antibody and disease severity.Meanwhile,PV patients showed increased Th2/CD4^(+)T cell ratio;decreased Treg/CD4^(+)T cell ratio;elevated mRNA of PI3K,AKT,mTOR and protein of PI3K(P85),AKT,p-AKT(Ser473),mTOR,p-mTOR(Ser2448),p-p70S6K(Thr389),GATA3;reduced protein of forkhead box protein 3.Rapamycin inhibited Th2 cell differentiation and promoted Treg cell differentiation in vitro.These data suggest a close association between mTOR pathway activation and the loss of balance in Th2/Treg cells in peripheral blood of PV patients.Inhibiting mTORC1 can help restore the Th2/Treg balance. | Kuan Lai Wenjing Zhang Songshan Li Zhiwen Zhang Shuangde Xie Meinian Xu Changxing Li Kang Zeng | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,4: | 4 |
