2A highly selective catalyst of Co/La_(4)Ga_(2)O_(9) for CO_(2) hydrogenation to ethanol显示文摘A new catalyst of Co/La_(4)Ga_(2)O_(9) for CO_(2) hydrogenation to produce ethanol was prepared by reducing LaCo^(0).5 Ga0.5 O3,which showed excellent selectivity to ethanol(%35 C-mol%)at mild reaction conditions(270°C,3.5 MPa,3000 m L g-1 h-1).The catalysts were characterized by N_(2) adsorption/desorption,XRD,XAFS,CO and CO_(2)-TPD,H2 chemisorption,XPS and TEM techniques.The interaction between Co nanoparticles(NPs)and La2+4 Ga_(2)O_(9) oxide resulted in Co^(0)-Coon the surface of Co NPs.It was proposed that La_(4)Ga_(2)O_(9) could catalyze reverse water gas shift reaction(r-WGS),which converted CO_(2) to CO.Then,the CO migrated to Co^(0)-Co^(2+)on Co NPs,where it was hydrogenated to form ethanol like higher alcohols synthesis from syngas.The results suggest that by controlling the oxidation state of cobalt,and combined with a kind of active site for activating CO_(2) to form CO,a catalyst with excellent selectivity to ethanol could be obtained for CO_(2) hydrogenation,which means that the complex reaction may be proceed with high selectivity using only one active metal component.Kang An Siran Zhang Jiaming Wang Qiang Liu Ziyang Zhang Yuan Liu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,5:3
3Highly Dispersed Pt Species with Excellent Stability and Catalytic Performance by Reducing a Perovskite-Type Oxide Precursor for CO Oxidation显示文摘A new scheme for the preparation of highly dispersed precious metal catalysts is proposed in this work. Samples of LaCo_(1-x)Pt_xO_3/SiO_2( x = 0.03, 0.05, 0.07, 0.09, and 0.10) were prepared through a simple method of citrate acid complexation combined with impregnation. In a nanocrystallite of LaCo_(1-x)Pt_xO_3, ions of lanthanum, cobalt, and platinum are evenly mixed at the atomic level and confined within the nanocrystallite. In the reduction process, platinum ions were reduced and migrated onto the surface of the nanocrystallite, and the platinum should be highly dispersed owing to the even mixing of the platinum ions in the precursor. When x = 0.05 or lower, the highest dispersion of Pt could be achieved. The highly dispersed Pt is stable, because of the strong interaction between Pt atoms and the support. The catalysts were characterized by BET surface area, temperature-programmed reduction, X-ray diff raction, transmission electron microscopy, CO temperatureprogrammed desorption, and turnover frequency. 4Cerium-modified Ni-La2O3/ZrO2 for CO2 methanation显示文摘The key point in CO2 methanation is to improve the activity at low temperature and the stability.For this purpose,a new cerium-modified Ni-La2O3/ZrO2 catalyst was prepared using La1-xCexNiO3/ZrO2 with perovskite phase as the precursor,which was obtained by citrate complexation combined with an impregnation method.The resulting catalyst was characterized through Nitrogen adsorption and desorption,X-ray diffraction (XRD),Transmission electron microscopy (TEM),Hydrogen temperature programmed reduction (H2-TPR),Temperature-programmed desorption of CO2 (CO2-TPD) and that of H2 (H2-TPD),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) techniques,and the catalytic performances for CO2 methanation was investigated.Cerium modification could improve the effective activation of CO2,thus enhancing the activity at low temperature for CO2 methanation.The metal Ni nanoparticles prepared using this method were highly dispersed and showed excellent resistance to sintering,leading to very good stability,which could be attributed to the following:Ni nanoparticles could be confined by cerium-modified La2O3;La2O3could be confined by the cerium ions at the La2O3/ZrO2 interface;and the cerium ions were confined by ZrO2.Shuangshuang Li Guilong Liu Siran Zhang Kang An Zhi Ma Luhui Wang Yuan Liu 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,4:2
5N-Doped Carbon Nanofibers Encapsulating CoO@Co_(9)S_(8) Nanoparticles:Preparation from S-Rich Co_(32) Coordination Cluster Precursors by Electrospinning and Application for Superior Li-ion Storage显示文摘Thiacalixarene-supported Co_(32) nanoclusters encapsulated in polyacrylonitrile nanofibers(Co_(32)@PAN-NFs)by electrospinning have been utilized as precursors to fabricate N-doped CoO@Co_(9)S_(8) carbon nanofibers(CoO@Co_(9)S_(8)@CNFs)for superior Li-ion storage.The S-rich Co_(32) clusters capped by organic sheets afforded the well dispersed cobalt oxide/sulfide nanoparticles embedded in carbon nanofiber composites by direct calcination.The N-doped CoO@Co_(9)S_(8)@CNFs nanocomposites have been utilized as anode materials for lithium ion battery with the reversible capabilities being of 1051.8,967.6,894.7,782.7,669.5 and 525.4 mA·h/g at 0.1,0.2,0.5,1,2 and 3 A/g,respectively.The CoO@Co_(9)S_(8)@CNFs also showed a relatively high stable capacity of 551.7 mA·h/g at the current density of 1 A/g after 200 cycles of rate experiments.The as-obtained N-doped CoO@Co_(9)S_(8)@CNFs nanocomposites exhibited superior reversible capacity,rate performance,Coulomb efficiency(74.5%vs.63.9%)and cyclic stability comparing with the CoO@Co_(9)S_(8)@C derived from simple annealing of Co_(32) templates.YANG Siran AI Feixue LI Ziping ZHAO Guiyan BI Yanfeng 2022Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2022,38,2:1

8Complex multimorbidity and health outcomes in older adult cancer survivors显示文摘Objective:To characterize complex multimorbidity among cancer survivors and evaluate the association between cancer survivorship,time since cancer diagnosis,and self-reported fair/poor health,self-rated worse health in 2 years,and 2-year mortality.Methods:We used the 2010-2012 Health and Retirement Study.Cancer survivors were indi-viduals who reported a(nonskin)cancer diagnosis 2 years or more before the interview.We defined complex multimorbidity as the co-occurrence of chronic conditions,functional limitations,and/or geriatric syndromes.In addition to descriptive analyses,we used logistic regression to evaluate the independent association between cancer survivor status and health outcomes.We also examined whether cancer survivorship differed by the number of years since diagnosis.Results:Among 15,808 older adults(age≥50 years),11.8%were cancer survivors.Compared with cancer-free individuals,a greater percentage of cancer survivors had complex multimorbidity:co-occurring chronic conditions,functional limitations,and geriatric syndromes.Cancer survivor-ship was significantly associated with self-reported fair/poor health,self-rated worse health in 2 years,and 2-year mortality.These effects declined with the number of years since diagnosis for fair/poor health and mortality but not for self-rated worse health.Conclusion:Cancer survivor status is independently associated with more complex multi-morbidity,and with worse health outcomes.These effects attenuate with time,except for patient perception of being in worse health.David F.Warner Nicholas K.Schiltz Kurt C.Stange Charles W.Given Cynthia Owusu Nathan A.Berger Siran M.Koroukian 2017Family Medicine and Community Health2017,5,2:1

10Identification of Potential Therapeutic Targets of Alzheimer's Disease By Weighted Gene Co-Expression Network Analysis显示文摘Objective Alzheimer's disease(AD)is the most common cause of dementia.The pathophysiology of the disease mostly remains unearthed,thereby challenging drug development for AD.This study aims to screen high throughput gene expression data using weighted co-expression network analysis(WGCNA)to explore the potential therapeutic targets.Methods The dataset of GSE36980 was obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)database.Normalization,quality control,filtration,and soft-threshold calculation were carried out before clustering the co-expressed genes into different modules.Furthermore,the correlation coefiidents between the modules and clinical traits were computed to identify the key modules.Gene ontology and pathway enrichment analyses were performed on the key module genes.The STRING database was used to construct the protein-protein interaction(PPI)networks,which were further analyzed by Cytoscape app(MCODE).Finally,validation of hub genes was conducted by external GEO datasets of GSE 1297 and GSE 28146.Results Co-expressed genes were clustered into 27 modules,among which 6 modules were identified as the key module relating to AD occurrence.These key modules are primarily involved in chemical synaptic transmission(G0:0007268),the tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle and respiratory electron transport(R-HSA-1428517).WDR47,OXCT1,C3orfl4,ATP6V1A,SLC25A14,NAPB were found as the hub genes and their expression were validated by external datasets.Conclusions Through modules co-expression network analyses and PPI network analyses,we identified the hub genes of AD,including WDR47,0XCT1,C3orfl4i ATP6V1A,SLC25A14 and NAPB.Among them,three hub genes(ATP6V1A,SLC25A14,OXCT1)might contribute to AD pathogenesis through pathway of TCA cycle.Fan Zhang Siran Zhong Siman Yang Yuting Wei Jingjing Wang Jinlan Huang Dengpan Wu Zhenguo Zhong 2020Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2020,35,4:1

14Combinations of chronic conditions,functional limitations and geriatric syndromes associated with periodontal disease显示文摘Objective To identify complex multimorbid conditions,including chronic conditions,functional limitations and geriatric syndromes,associated with the presence and severity of periodontal disease(PD),after accounting for a series of demographic and behavioural characteristics.Design This cross-sectional study used secondary data from a nationally representative sample,classification and regression tree analysis and random forest identified combinations of specific conditions constituting complex multimorbidity associated with the presence and severity of PD.Setting US National Health and Nutritional Examination Survey(2013-2014).Participants Individuals 60 years of age or older who completed a periodontal examination.Results Among 937 participants aged 60 and over,the prevalence of PD was 72.6%.PD was associated with sociodemographic factors and limitations in instrumental activities of daily living.Male sex and non-white race were the two most critical predictors of stage III/IV PD.Other important factors included age,education level and the federal poverty level.Conclusions Rather than chronic conditions or geriatric syndromes,PD was associated with sociodemographic factors and functional limitations.Accounting for the co-occurrence of sociodemographic and functional limitations will help recognise older adults who are at an increased vulnerability to the severity of PD.Hussam M Alqahtani Siran M Koroukian Kurt Stange Nabil F Bissada Nicholas K Schiltz 2022Family Medicine and Community Health2022,10,3:1
