| 1 | Greenness identification based on HSV decision tree显示文摘Greenness identification from crop images captured outdoors is the important step for crop growth monitoring.The commonly used methods for greenness identification are based on visible spectral-index,such as the excess green index,the excess green minus excess red index,the vegetative index,the color index of vegetation extraction,the combined index.All these visible spectral-index based methods are working on the assumption that plants display a clear high degree of greenness,and soil is the only background element.In fact,the brightness and contrast of an image coming from outdoor environments are seriously affected by the weather conditions and the capture time.The color of the plant varies from dark green to bright green.The back ground elements may contain crop straw,straw ash besides soil.These environmental factors always make the visible spectral-index based methods unable to work correctly.In this paper,an HSV decision tree based method for greenness identification from maize seedling images captured outdoors is proposed.Firstly,the image was converted from RGB color space to HSV color space to avoid influence of illumination.Secondly,most of the background pixels were removed according to their hue values compared with the ones of green plants.Thirdly,the pixels of wheat straws whose hue values were intersected with tender green leaves were eliminated subject to their hues,saturations and values.At last,thresholding was employed to get the green plants.The results indicate that the proposed method can recognize greenness pixels correctly from the crop images captured outdoors. | Wenzhu Yang Sile Wang Xiaolan Zhao Jingsi Zhang Jiaqi Feng | 2015 | Information Processing in Agriculture2015,2,3: | 1 |
| 2 | MSNCs and MgO-MSNCs as drug delivery systems to control the adsorption kinetics and release rate of indometacin显示文摘Mesoporous silica cocoon materials(MSNCs) and MgO doped mesoporous silica cocoons(MgO-MSNCs) with the cocoon-like hierarchical morphology and different alkalinities were synthesized as carriers for acidic drugs. Indomethacin(IMC) was selected as a model drug and loaded into carriers. All materials and the drug-loaded samples were characterized by nitrogen adsorption, FTIR spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy(TEM), powder X-Ray diffraction(XRD) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). The effect of the Mg/Si molar ratio on the kinetics and equilibrium of IMC adsorption on MgO-MSNCs was thoroughly examined, and it was found that the increase in the Mg/Si molar ratio resulted in an increasing IMC adsorption rate due to the increased affinity between alkaline MgO-MSNCs and weak acid IMC. The adsorption kinetics fitted a pseudo second-order model well. The Freundlich isotherm showed a better fit, indicating that the coverage of IMC on the surface of MgO-MSNCs was heterogeneous. The maximum adsorption capacity of adsorbent was calculated by the Langmuir isotherm equation. The Temkin equation provided further support that the IMC adsorption on MgO-MSNCs was dominated by a chemisorption process. MgO-MSNCs also have the advantage of allowing an adjustment of the drug release rate of weak acid drug. The cytotoxicity assay indicated good biocompatibility of MgO-MSNCs. | 4 | Multiresolution generative adversarial networks with bidirectional adaptive-stage progressive guided fusion for remote sensing image显示文摘Remote sensing image(RSI)with concurrently high spatial,temporal,and spectral resolutions cannot be produced by a single sensor.Multisource RSI fusion is a convenient technique to realize high spatial resolution multispectral(MS)images(spatial spectral fusion,i.e.SSF)and high temporal and spatial resolution MS images(spatiotemporal fusion,i.e.STF).Currently,deep learning-based fusion models can only implement SSF or STF,lacking models that perform both SSF and STF.Multiresolution generative adversarial networks with bidirectional adaptive-stage progressive guided fusion(BAPGF)for RSI are proposed to implement both SSF and STF,namely BPF-MGAN.A bidirectional adaptive-stage feature extraction architecture infine-scale-to-coarse-scale and coarse-scale-to-fine-scale modes is introduced.The designed BAPGF introduces a previous fusion result-oriented cross-stage-level dual-residual attention fusion strategy to enhance critical information and suppress superfluous information.Adaptive resolution U-shaped discriminators are implemented to feed multiresolution context into the generator.A generalized multitask loss function unlimited by no-reference images is developed to strengthen the model via constraints on the multiscale feature,structural,and content similarities.The BPF-MGAN model is validated on SSF datasets and STF datasets.Compared with the state-of-the-art SSF and STF models,results demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed BPF-MGAN model in both subjective and objective evaluations. | Yuanyuan Wu Yuchun Li Mengxing Huang Siling Feng | 2023 | International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1: | 0 |

| 6 | Adaptive Noise Detector and Partition Filter for Image Restoration显示文摘The random-value impulse noise(RVIN)detection approach in image denoising,which is dependent on manually defined detection thresholds or local window information,does not have strong generalization performance and cannot successfully cope with damaged pictures with high noise levels.The fusion of the K-means clustering approach in the noise detection stage is reviewed in this research,and the internal relationship between the flat region and the detail area of the damaged picture is thoroughly explored to suggest an unique two-stage method for gray image denoising.Based on the concept of pixel clustering and grouping,all pixels in the damaged picture are separated into various groups based on gray distance similarity features,and the best detection threshold of each group is solved to identify the noise.In the noise reduction step,a partition decision filter based on the gray value characteristics of pixels in the flat and detail areas is given.For the noise pixels in flat and detail areas,local consensus index(LCI)weighted filter and edge direction filter are designed respectively to recover the pixels damaged by the RVIN.The experimental results show that the accuracy of the proposed noise detection method is more than 90%,and is superior to most mainstream methods.At the same time,the proposed filtering method not only has good noise reduction and generalization performance for natural images and medical images with medium and high noise but also is superior to other advanced filtering technologies in visual effect and objective quality evaluation. | Cong Lin Chenghao Qiu CanWu Siling Feng Mengxing Huang | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,5: | 0 |
| 7 | Optimization of Resource Allocation in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Based on Swarm Intelligence Algorithms显示文摘Due to their adaptability,Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)play an essential role in the Internet of Things(IoT).Using wireless power transfer(WPT)techniques,an UAV can be supplied with energy while in flight,thereby extending the lifetime of this energy-constrained device.This paper investigates the optimization of resource allocation in light of the fact that power transfer and data transmission cannot be performed simultaneously.In this paper,we propose an optimization strategy for the resource allocation of UAVs in sensor communication networks.It is a practical solution to the problem of marine sensor networks that are located far from shore and have limited power.A corresponding system model is summarized based on the scenario and existing theoretical works.The minimum throughputmaximizing object is then formulated as an optimization problem.As swarm intelligence algorithms are utilized effectively in numerous fields,this paper chose to solve the formed optimization problem using the Harris Hawks Optimization and Whale Optimization Algorithms.This paper introduces a method for translating multi-decisions into a row vector in order to adapt swarm intelligence algorithms to the problem,as joint time and energy optimization have two sets of variables.The proposed method performs well in terms of stability and duration.Finally,performance is evaluated through numerical experiments.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method performs admirably in the given scenario. | Siling Feng Yinjie Chen Mengxing Huang Feng Shu | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,5: | 0 |
