1Growth ages of ferromanganese crusts from the western and central Pacific:Comparison between nannofossil analysis and ^(10)Be dating显示文摘Based on results of nannofossil analysis and 10Be dating in ferromanganese crusts M1-1 and A1-1 (no nannofossils were found in it),from the western and central Pacific respectively,it is found that the crust growth ages from nannofossil biostrati-graphy agree well with those based on 10Be isotope analysis. Both crusts have three growth layers,and the oldest layer was deposited in Miocene at about 12.80 Ma. 2Soil erosion affects variations of soil organic carbon and soil respiration along a slope in Northeast China显示文摘Background:Although soil erosion plays a key role in the carbon cycle,a holistic and mechanistic understanding of the soil erosion process within the cycle is still lacking.The aim of this study was therefore to improve our mechanistic understanding of soil organic carbon(SOC)and soil respiration dynamics through an experiment conducted in an eroding black soil farmland landscape in Northeast China.Results:The depositional profiles store 5.9 times more SOC than the eroding profiles and 3.3 times more SOC than the non-eroding profiles.A linear correlation between the SOC and 137Cs(Caesium-137)was observed in our study,suggesting that the SOC decreased with increased soil erosion.Furthermore,the fractions of intermediate C and the microaggregate C were lowest at the eroding position and highest at the depositional position.In the depositional topsoil,the input of labile materials plays a promotional role in soil respiration.Conversely,in the subsoil(i.e.,below 10 cm),the potential mineralization rates were lowest at the depositional position—due to effective stabilization by physical protection within soil microaggregates.The field results of soil surface respiration also suggest that the depositional topsoil SOC is prone to be mineralized and that SOC at this depositional context is stabilized at subsoil depth.In addition,the high water contents at the depositional position can limit the decomposition rates and stabilize the SOC at the same time.Conclusions:The findings from this study support that a majority of the SOC at footslope is stored within most of the soil profile(i.e.,below 10 cm)and submitted to long-term stabilization,and meanwhile support that the depositional profile emits more CO2 than the summit due to its high amount and quality of SOC.Tong Li Haicheng Zhang Xiaoyuan Wang Shulan Cheng Huajun Fang Gang Liu Wenping Yuan 2019Ecological Processes2019,8,1:4

5Effects of Res on proliferation and apoptosis of human cervical carcinoma cell lines C33A,SiHa and HeLa显示文摘Objective:To explore the effects of Res on the proliferation and apoptosis of human cervical cancer cell lines C33A,SiHa and HeLa.Methods:Inhibition rates by different concentrations of Res were calculated using MTT method.Apoptosis rates and cell cycles were measured and examined by flow cytometry(FCM).Morphological configuration of apoptotic cells were observed under the fluorescence microscope.Results:The growth of cancer cells was inhibited by Res of varied concentrations in a time-and dose-dependent manner(P<0.01).The cells showed characteristic apoptosis morphologic changes under fluorescence microscope.Res exerted no effects on cell cycles.Conclusion:Res inhibits the growth of cervical cell lines C33A,SiHa and HeLa by inducing cell apoptosis in a time-and dose-dependent manner.Shen Xin Lv Shulan Zhang Jing Li Shengnan Gao Jiyong Pan Cheng'en 2009Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2009,24,3:1
6异质光照条件下克隆整合对入侵植物南美蟛蜞菊化感作用的影响显示文摘植物入侵已成为全球生态系统最严重的威胁之一。当具有克隆生长能力的入侵植物入侵或定殖到新的生境时,它们相互连接的分株可能受到异质光照的影响。在异质光照条件下,克隆整合对入侵植物化感作用的影响尚不清楚。为研究异质光照条件下克隆整合对入侵植物南美蟛蜞菊(Wedelia trilobata)化感作用的影响,采用两个连续分株的克隆片段进行了盆栽试验。较老的分株暴露在全光下,而年轻的分株则受到20%的全光照。同时,每个克隆片段的年轻分株与目标植株(一个番茄苗)在盆栽中相邻生长。南美蟛蜞菊的两个连续分株之间的匍匐茎设置切断和不切断两种处理。另外,两株番茄幼苗(一株作为目标植株)在盆栽中相邻生长作为对照。研究结果表明,当与目标植物相邻生长的南美蟛蜞菊分株之间的匍匐茎保持完整时,目标植株的生物量积累、叶片叶绿素和氮含量、叶绿素荧光参数和净光合速率及其根长和活性相较于匍匐茎切断处理显著降低。异质光照条件下连续两个分株之间碳水化合物的运输或共享可以增强20%全光处理下年轻分株的化感作用。克隆整合在异质光照条件下对具有克隆生长能力的入侵植物的入侵或定殖具有重要意义。Lei Pu Lang Cheng Ai Li Sha Liang Qing Wei Shulan Wu Linxuan He Xiangning Xu Ningfei Lei Jinsong Chen 2022Journal of Plant Ecology2022,15,3:1
7Benthic foraminiferal δ^(13)C minimum events in the southeastern Okhotsk Sea over the last 180 ka显示文摘A total of six d13C minimum events,i.e.,VI,V,IV,III,II,and I,were observed via a stable carbon and oxygen isotope analysis of infaunal benthic foraminifera Uvigerina spp.in gravity core OS03-1 in the southeastern Okhotsk Sea over the last 180 ka.These events occurred at112–109,102–90,85–76,57–54,44–40,and 17–10 ka BP.The largest negative excursions reached 2.5%in event V and were greater than 1%in the other events.We proposed that all d13C minimum events were caused by the increase in sea surface water productivity,the weakened formation of Okhotsk Sea intermediate water,and the enhancement of the oxygen minimum zone.The negative excursions were unaffected by methane hydrate destabilization and subsequent methane release based on the results obtained by using archaeal lipid markers.Yonghua Wu Xuefa Shi Jianjun Zou Zhenbo Cheng Kunshan Wang Shulan Ge Fengdeng Shi 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,24:0
8Effects of the structure of the branches on the two-photon absorption properties for the multi-branched molecules with nitrogen (N) as coupling center显示文摘In order to investigate the effects of the structure of branches on the TPA properties for multi-branched molecules, the TPA cross section is calculated by using ZINDO/SOS method. The investigated mole- cules have different branches (chomorfores based on stilbene, dithienothiophene and flourene) with nitrogen(N) as coupling center. The results show that the cooperative enhancement in multi-branched molecules depends on the structures of the branches and the structures of branches play an important role in the enhancement of the TPA cross section. 9Oxygen-deficient MoO_(x)/Ni_(3)S_(2) heterostructure grown on nickel foam as efficient and durable self-supported electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘High-performance and ultra-durable electrocatalysts are vital for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)during water splitting.Herein,by one-pot solvothermal method,MoO_(x)/Ni_(3)S_(2) spheres comprising Ni_(3)S_(2) nanoparticles inside and oxygen-deficient amorphous MoO_(x) outside in situ grow on Ni foam(NF),to assembly the heterostructure composites of MoO_(x)/Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF.By adjusting volume ratio of the solvents of ethanol to water,the optimized MoO_(x)/Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF-11 exhibits the best HER performance,requiring an extremely low overpotential of 76 mV to achieve the current density of 10 mA∙cm‒2(η_(10)=76 mV)and an ultra-small Tafel slope of 46 mV∙dec^(-1) in 0.5 mol∙L^(-1) H_(2)SO_(4).More importantly,the catalyst shows prominent high catalytic stability for HER(>100 h).The acid-resistant MoO_(x) wraps the inside Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF to ensure the high stability of the catalyst under acidic conditions.Density functional theory calculations confirm that the existing oxygen vacancy and MoO_(x)/Ni_(3)S_(2) heterostructure are both beneficial to the reduced Gibbs free energy of hydrogen adsorption(|∆G_(H*)|)over Mo sites,which act as main active sites.The heterostructure effectively decreases the formation energy of O vacancy,leading to surface reconstruction of the catalyst,further improving HER performance.The MoO_(x)/Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF is promising to serve as a highly effective and durable electrocatalyst toward HER.Zihuan Yu Haiqing Yan Chaonan Wang Zheng Wang Huiqin Yao Rong Liu Cheng Li Shulan Ma 2023Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2023,17,4:0
