| 1 | Hierarchical Content Caching in Fog Radio Access Networks:Ergodic Rate and Transmit Latency显示文摘In order to alleviate capacity constraints on the fronthaul and decrease the transmit latency, a hierarchical content caching paradigm is applied in the fog radio access networks(F-RANs). In particular, a specific cluster of remote radio heads is formed through a common centralized cloud at the baseband unit pool, while the local content is directly delivered at fog access points with edge cache and distributed radio signal processing capability. Focusing on a downlink F-RAN, the explicit expressions of ergodic rate for the hierarchical paradigm is derived. Meanwhile, both the waiting delay and latency ratio for users requiring a single content are exploited. According to the evaluation results of ergodic rate on waiting delay, the transmit latency can be effectively reduced through improving the capacity of both fronthaul and radio access links. Moreover, to fully explore the potential of hierarchical content caching, the transmit latency for users requiring multiple content objects is optimized as well in three content transmission cases with different radio access links. The simulation results verify the accuracy of the analysis, further show the latency decreases significantly due to the hierarchical paradigm. | Shiwei Jia Yuan Ai Zhongyuan Zhao Mugen Peng Chunjing Hu | 2016 | China Communications2016,13,12: | 6 |
| 2 | Optimal analysis conditions for sperm motility parameters with a CASA system in a passerine bird, Passer montanus显示文摘Background:Sperm motility parameters, which can be measured objectively and repeatedly by a computer-assisted sperm analysis(CASA)system, are important indicators of sperm quality. However, the sperm motility parameters assessed by a CASA system can be affected by various factors, including instrument components and settings, sperm preparation or analysis procedures. To date,no standardized protocol is available that would permit to assess sperm kinetic characteristics in passerine birds and this lack precludes any comparison of sperm swimming ability and sperm quality across species. Methods:In this study,we chose the Tree Sparrow(Passer montanus)as the object to evaluate sperm motility parameters, including sperm motility, sperm velocity and sperm movement trajectory,at different analysis time, temperatures and pH using the WLJY-9000 CASA system. Results:Sperm motility parameters remained statistically unchanged at 1‒9 min.Progressive motility was similar at 38℃ and 40℃,but a greater percentage of slow progressive sperm was detected at 38℃ compared to 40℃ and 42℃.Additionally,progressive motility was lower and immotility was higher at 42℃than 38℃and/or 40℃(close to the body temperature of the Tree Sparrow). The percentages of rapid progressive sperm, progressive sperm and immotile sperm were statistically similar at pH 7.0,7.5 and 8.0 with the exception of lower percentage of progressive sperm at pH 7.0 compared to pH 7.5.In addition, slower sperm velocity and worse sperm movement trajectory were found at pH 6.0 and 9.0 than those at pH 8.0,7.5 or 7.0.Conclusions:Our study indicates that the ideal conditions for sperm motility parameters assessment in Tree Sparrow are obtained between 1 and 9 min after dilution,an environment at body temperature(40℃)and a pH around 7.5-8.0.The results of this study provide a reference for the evaluation of sperm characteristics and sperm quality using a CASA system in passerine birds. | Ying Yang Yingmei Zhang Jian Ding Shiwei Ai Rui Guo Xiaojuan Bai Wenzhi Yang | 2019 | Avian Research2019,10,4: | 1 |
| 3 | HPMA modified aluminium nitride powder for aqueous tape casting of AlN ceramic substrates显示文摘Aluminum nitride(AlN)is considered one of the most desirable materials for integrated circuits and electronic packaging substrates. However, raw AlN powder reacts easily with water, forming Al(OH)3 or AlOOH on the surface and hindering the development of an aqueous tape-casting process for preparing AlN ceramic substrates. In this study, hydrolyzed polymaleic anhydride(HPMA)was used to modify AlN powder, which has good water solubility and dispersibility. The AlN powder was modified with 5 wt%HPMA remained stable in water for at least 90 h under magnetic stirring condition and 24 h under ball milling condition, indicating that HPMA-modified AlN powder has good resistance to hydrolysis. The action mechanism of HPMA is revealed.Firstly,–COOH of the HPMA polymer and the oxide layer on the surface of the AlN powder underwent a dehydration condensation reaction to form a compound.Secondly, long chains of the polymer further coated the surface of the AlN powder, forming an anti-hydration layer with a thickness of about 7.0 nm on the surface of the AlN particles. In addition,AlN green sheets were successfully prepared by aqueous tape casting using the HPMA-modified AlN powder without additional dispersants.Subsequently,AlN ceramic substrates were obtained by sintering at 1750℃for 4 h under an N2 atmosphere with a pressure of 0.2 MPa.The relative density and thermal conductivity were tested to be 97.3%and 122 W/(m·K),respectively. | Meng Li Jianping Ai Zhengjuan Wang Zhenhai Xue Lihong Cheng Guohong Zhou Shiwei Wang | 2023 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,9: | 0 |
