| 1 | Discovery and preliminary study of the high tungsten and lithium contents in the Dazhuyuan bauxite deposit, Guizhou, China显示文摘Bauxite in China remains an urgently needed resource largely dependent on imports. Based on the study of the newly-discovered Dazhuyuan bauxite deposit in northeastern Guizhou, we have found new enrichment of tungsten and lithium in bauxite, with the highest WO 3 content up to 0.33% and the highest Li 2 O content up to 0.58%. The present paper reports the initial result, and the spatial distribution feature of W and Li in the ore body (with Li enriched mostly in the north part of the west limb of the Liyuan syncline, whereas W enriched mostly in the central part of the east limb). | 2 | Provenance of Lower Carboniferous Bauxite Deposits in Northern Guizhou,China:Constraints from Geochemistry and Detrital Zircon U-Pb Ages显示文摘The Lower Carboniferous Jiujialu Formation bauxite deposits of northern Guizhou Province,China,are a Kazakhstan subtype of karst bauxite deposits.The provenance of the Jiujialu Formation has long been debated,with uncertainty about the formation of the bauxite deposits.Here we report new geochemical data that indicate the affinity between the Lower-Middle Ordovician clastic rocks and argillaceous dolostones and the overlying Carboniferous bauxite deposits,all of which are characterized by high Al_(2)0_(3),K2_(O),and∑REE contents,flat post-Archean Australian shale(PAAS)-normalized REE patterns,and uniform immobile element ratios(TiO2/Al_(2)0_(3),Nb/TiO2,and Zr/TiO2).Their similar detrital zircon age distributions further indicate the link between the bauxite deposits and the clastic rocks and argillaceous dolostones.Zircon age spectra of clastic rocks of the Lower Silurian Hanchiatien Formation in northern Guizhou match those of the bauxite deposits,with a maximum age peak at-980 Ma and other secondary age peaks,suggesting these clastic rocks may represent the provenance of the bauxite deposits.The youngest detrital zircons(-445 Ma)occur only in the bauxite deposits and are probably sourced from K-bentonite beds of the Ordovician-Silurian tran-sition.Our analyses indicate that the source materials of the bauxite deposits in the Jiujialu Formation are of mixed provenance:Lower-Middle Ordovician aluminosilicate rocks and argillaceous dolostones of the underlying strata,and Lower Silurian clastic rocks and K-bentonite from adjacent areas.A comparison of Early Carboniferous bauxitic provenances in northern and central Guizhou indicates that paleotopography was the major factor controlling the provenance of these bauxite deposits. | Guolin Xiong Wenchao Yu Yuansheng Du Shenfu Weng Dawei Pang Xusheng Deng Jintao Zhou | 2021 | Journal of Earth Science2021，32，1： | 3 |
| 3 | High H_(2) selective performance of Ni-Fe-Ca/H-Al catalysts for steam reforming of biomass and plastic显示文摘The development of a selective catalyst for the conversion of biomass and plastics into H2by steam reforming can combat the energy crisis and global warming.In this work,support Ni-Fe-Ca/H-Al bifunctional catalysts were prepared by loading Ni and Fe into pretreatment CaO/Al_(2)O_(3)(Ca/H-Al)carriers and showed high catalytic activity for the steam reforming of biomass and plastic.Moreover,the idea of bidirectional degradation was exploited to strengthen the pyrolysis of plastic with a high H/C and biomass with a high O/C.Interestingly,the products presented high H2selective(1302.10 m L/g)and low CO_(2)yield(120.23 m L/g)in 7Ni-5Fe-Ca/H-Al(2:4)catalyst compared with current reports.Here,the abundant oxygen vacancies(Ov)in the H-Al carrier exhibited an electron-deficient nature,providing active sites for anchoring Ni O.Meanwhile,Ni O interacted with Ca_(2)Fe_(2)O_(5)to produce more defective Ovsites,which stabilized the NiO particles in the 7Ni-5Fe-Ca/H-Al(2:4)catalyst,and the interaction between the catalyst and the carrier was enhanced,leading to the reduction of weakly basic sites,this property promoted the strong adsorption of CO_(2)and H2O by the catalyst,contributing to the enhancement of efficient steam conversion and the promotion of conversion of by-products to H2.Notably,7Ni-5Fe-Ca/H-Al(2:4)catalysts maintained structural integrity after regeneration and exhibited excellent regenerability in H2selection and CO_(2)adsorption.The work provides a new idea for the study of efficient H2production from steam reforming of biomass and plastics. | Jin Deng Lingshuai Meng Duo Ma Yujie Zhou Xianyang Wang Xiaodong Luo Shenfu Yuan | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023，，5： | 2 |
