| 1 | Terrestrial carbon sinks in China and around the world and their contribution to carbon neutrality显示文摘Enhancing the terrestrial ecosystem carbon sink(referred to as terrestrial C sink) is an important way to slow down the continuous increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide(CO_(2)) concentration and to achieve carbon neutrality target.To better understand the characteristics of terrestrial C sinks and their contribution to carbon neutrality,this review summarizes major progress in terrestrial C budget researches during the past decades,clarifies spatial patterns and drivers of terrestrial C sources and sinks in China and around the world,and examines the role of terrestrial C sinks in achieving carbon neutrality target.According to recent studies,the global terrestrial C sink has been increasing from a source of (-0.2±0.9) Pg C yr^(-1)(1 Pg=1015g)in the 1960s to a sink of (1.9±1.1) Pg C yr^(-1) in the 2010s.By synthesizing the published data,we estimate terrestrial C sink of 0.20–0.25 Pg C yr^(-1) in China during the past decades,and predict it to be 0.15–0.52 Pg C yr^(-1) by 2060.The terrestrial C sinks are mainly located in the mid-and high latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere,while tropical regions act as a weak C sink or source.The C balance differs much among ecosystem types:forest is the major C sink;shrubland,wetland and farmland soil act as C sinks;and whether the grassland functions as C sink or source remains unclear.Desert might be a C sink,but the magnitude and the associated mechanisms are still controversial.Elevated atmospheric CO_(2) concentration,nitrogen deposition,climate change,and land cover change are the main drivers of terrestrial C sinks,while other factors such as fires and aerosols would also affect ecosystem C balance.The driving factors of terrestrial C sink differ among regions.Elevated CO_(2) concentration and climate change are major drivers of the C sinks in North America and Europe,while afforestation and ecological restoration are additionally important forcing factors of terrestrial C sinks in China.For future studies,we recommend the necessity for intensive and long-term ecosystem C monitoring over broad geographic scale to improve terrestrial biosphere models for accurately evaluating terrestrial C budget and its dynamics under various climate change and policy scenarios. | Yuanhe Yang Yue Shi Wenjuan Sun Jinfeng Chang Jianxiao Zhu Leiyi Chen Xin Wang Yanpei Guo Hongtu Zhang Lingfei Yu Shuqing Zhao Kang Xu Jiangling Zhu Haihua Shen Yuanyuan Wang Yunfeng Peng Xia Zhao Xiangping Wang Huifeng Hu Shiping Chen Mei Huang Xuefa Wen Shaopeng Wang Biao Zhu Shuli Niu Zhiyao Tang Lingli Liu Jingyun Fang | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,5: | 32 |
| 2 | Application of Hot Forming High Strength Steel Parts on Car Body in Side Impact显示文摘Lightweight structure is an important method to increase vehicle fuel efficiency.High strength steel is applied for replacing mild steel in automotive structures to decrease thickness of parts for lightweight.However,the lightweight structures must show the improved capability for structural rigidity and crash energy absorption.Advanced high strength steels are attractive materials to achieve higher strength for energy absorption and reduce weight of vehicles.Currently,many research works focus on component level axial crash testing and simulation of high strength steels.However,the effects of high strength steel parts to the impact of auto body are not considered.The goal of this research is to study the application of hot forming high strength steel(HFHSS) in order to evaluate the potential using in vehicle design for lightweight and passive safety.The performance of HFHSS is investigated by using both experimental and analytical techniques.In particular,the focus is on HFHSS which may have potential to enhance the passive safety for lightweight auto body.Automotive components made of HFHSS and general high strength steel(GHSS) are considered in this study.The material characterization of HFHSS is carried out through material experiments.The finite element method,in conjunction with the validated model is used to simulate the side impact of a car with GHSS and HFHSS parts according to China New Car Assessment Programme(C-NCAP) crash test.The deformation and acceleration characteristics of car body are analyzed and the injuries of an occupant are calculated.The results from the simulation analyses of HFHSS are compared with those of GHSS.The comparison indicates that the HFHSS parts on car body enhance the passive safety for the lightweight car body in side impact.Parts of HFHSS reduce weight of vehicle through thinner thickness offering higher strength of parts.Passive safety of lightweight car body is improved through reduction of crash deformation on car body by the application of HFHSS parts.The experiments and simulation are conducted to the HFHSS parts on auto body.The results demonstrate the feasibility of the application of HFHSS materials on automotive components for improved capability of passive safety and lightweight. | SUN Hongtu HU Ping MA Ning SHEN Guozhe LIU Bo ZHOU Dinglu | 2010 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2010,23,2: | 19 |

Methods: By step serial sectioning technique and immunohisto- chemistry, 121 SLNs and 44 tumors of 59 cases were examined. Results: Micrometastases was found in 17 SLNs (14%) of 14 (24%) cases. The more sections or examination methods, the more micrometastases were found. Micrometastases was related with the tumor size and the expression of c-erbB2, MMP-2 and VEGF. Conclusion: The best examination method is making sections at two levels with 100 μm interval and combination of HE staining and muc1 immunohistochemistry. We can get the excellent detection/cost by this method. | 8 | Effects of global change and human disturbance on soil carbon cycling in boreal forest: A review显示文摘Increasing human demands for Earth’s resources are hastening many environmental changes and creating a need to incorporate the routine monitoring of ecosystem functions into forest management.Under global change and anthropogenic disturbances,soil carbon(C)cycling in terrestrial ecosystems is undergoing substantial changes that result in the transformation between soil C sources and sinks.Therefore,the forest C budget requires an understanding of the underlying soil C dynamic under environmental disturbances.The present review focuses on the response and feedback of soil C cycling to global change(climate warming and nitrogen(N)deposition)and human disturbances(fire and logging)and detects the association of soil C cycling with soil C and N efflux and inflow in boreal forests.The effects of climate warming and N deposition on soil C cycling are complex,especially at short-term temporal scales.Climate warming can decay soil organic matter(SOM)to emit substantial amounts of CO2,and differing warming durations result in different effects on soil C loss,ranging from ca.1 to 15 Mg C ha−1.Short-term soil warming mainly reduces the labile soil C pool and increases the decomposition of recalcitrant soil C compounds(e.g.,lignin),whereas longer-term warming may limit soil C loss due to impoverished soil C substrate and microbial communities.Moderate N addition is conducive to enhancing soil C storage(ca.2–22 Mg C ha−1),by increasing plant productivity including above-and belowground biomass;however,chronic N deposition or excess N addition can result in soil acidity,reducing N use efficiency and plant growth and further resulting in no changes or declines in soil C pool.Fire and logging lead to a large quantity of soil C loss via impaired plant productivity and increased organic matter degradation,exacerbating global warming.In particular,severe fire can cause a large amount of soil C loss,ca.16–34 Mg C ha−1 in the data we reviewed.Meanwhile,the black C input induced by fire and the plant residual C input from the roots of logged trees can increase the proportion of recalcitrant soil C and enhance the stability of soil C pool.We also highlight the positive feedback of forest restoration to soil C storage after fire and logging disturbances,indicating that effective forest restoration projects(e.g.,afforestation and natural forest recovery)are necessary to sequester soil C belowground.Additionally,combined with microbial technologies and metagenomics-and metabolomics-based approaches,soil microorganisms are proved crucial for driving soil C cycling via C capture and the N recycling of plants and soil.We,therefore,suggest that clarifying the relationship among plant,SOM,and microorganisms is essential to better evaluate soil C cycling and to predict how boreal forests respond to global change and human disturbances.Further work is needed to assess long-term soil C feedback from high-latitude forests to broader regions. | Pengshuai SHAO Hongyan HAN Jingkuan SUN Hongtu XIE | 2023 | Pedosphere2023,33,1: | 1 |
| 9 | 探讨粒细胞肉瘤的诊断与鉴别诊断(英文)显示文摘Objective:To discuss the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of granulocytic sarcoma(GS).Methods:Six cases were reported in this paper.They were assessed by pathologists.Immunohistochemistry(IHC) stain and routine hematoxylin and eosin(H&E) stain were applied.Results:All patients involved in different anatomic sites respectively including skin,lymph node,soft tissue,breast,cervix and penis.All cases were previously error diagnoses.Three of them were initially diagnosed as non-Hodgkin lymphoma(NHL).One case of cervical lymph node lesion was first considered as metastasized carcinoma by clinician.One biopsied skin sample was initially reported as Karposi's sarcoma.And one breast case was suspicious of the lobular carcinoma with the frozen samples without antecedent clinical history information.GS was accompanied with acute myeloid leukemia(AML) in one case and with acute lymphocytic leukemia(ALL) in one case.Histopathologically,blastic,immature and differentiated variants were found in four,one and one,respectively.Immunohistochemistry(IHC) showed that myeloperoxidase(MPO) and lysozyme were both found to be positive in all cases,CD43 was found in 5 of 6 cases.Three of six cases were CD68,CD15 and LCA positive.CD34 and CD117 were positive in 1/5 and 1/6 cases,respectively.However,CD20 and CD3 were negative in all cases.Conclusion:GS was uncommon and it may be misdiagnosed easily in routine practice.Each area had its own character,but they had the common features too.It can be correctly diagnosed by combination of H&E stain,IHC stain,peripheral blood and bone marrow.MPO and Lysozyme were necessary for the nature of granulocytes.In addition,CD43,CD68 and CD15 were very helpful. | Xiaoli Feng Jianming Ying C. | 10 | Stable all-solid-state Li-Te battery with Li_(3)TbBr_(6) superionic conductor显示文摘Rare-earth(RE)halide solid electrolytes(HSEs)have been an emerging research area due to their good electrochemical and mechanical properties for all-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSBs).However,only very limited types of HSEs have been reported with high performance.In this work,tens of grams of RE-HSE Li_(3)TbBr_(6)(LTbB)was synthesized by a vacuum evaporationassisted method.The as-prepared LTbB displays a high ionic conductivity of 1.7 mS·cm^(-1),a wide electrochemical window,and good formability.Accordingly,the assembled solid lithium-tellurium(Li-Te)battery based on the LTbB HSE exhibits excellent cycling stability up to 600 cycles,which is superior to most previous reports.The processes and the chemicals during the discharge/charge of Li-Te batteries have been studied by various in situ and ex situ characterizations.Theoretical calculations have demonstrated the dominant conductivity contributions of the direct[octahedral]-[octahedral]([Oct]-[Oct])pathway for Li ion migrations in the electrolyte.The Tb sites guarantee efficient electron transfer while the Li 2s orbitals are not affected during migration,leading to a low activation barrier.Therefore,this successful fabrication and application of LTbB have offered a highly competitive solution for solid electrolytes in ASSBs,indicating the great potential of RE-based HSEs in energy devices. | Zhichao Zeng Xiaomeng Shi Mingzi Sun Hongtu Zhang Wei Luo Yunhui Huang Bolong Huang Yaping Du Chun-Hua Yan | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,7: | 0 |
