| 1 | Comprehensive lipidomics in apoM^(-/-) mice reveals an overall state of metabolic distress and attenuated hepatic lipid secretion into the circulation显示文摘Apolipoprotein M(apoM) participates in both high-density lipoprotein and cholesterol metabolism. Little is known about how apo M affects lipid composition of the liver and serum. In this study, we systemically investigated the effects of apo M on liver and plasma lipidomes and how apo M participates in lipid cycling, via apo M knockout in mice and the human SMMC-7721 cell line. We used integrated mass spectrometry-based lipidomics approaches to semiquantify more than 600 lipid species from various lipid classes, which include free fatty acids, glycerolipids, phospholipids, sphingolipids, glycosphingolipids, cholesterol, and cholesteryl esters(CEs), in apo M^(-/-)mouse. Hepatic accumulation of neutral lipids, including CEs, triacylglycerols, and diacylglycerols, was observed in apo M^(-/-)mice;while serum lipidomic analyses showed that, in contrast to the liver, the overall levels of CEs and saturated/monounsaturated fatty acids were markedly diminished. Furthermore, the level of Apo B-100 was dramatically increased in the liver, whereas significant reductions in both Apo B-100 and low-density lipoprotein(LDL) cholesterol were observed in the serum of apo M^(-/-)mice, which indicated attenuated hepatic LDL secretion into the circulation. Lipid profiles and proinflammatory cytokine levels indicated that apo M^(-/-)leads to hepatic steatosis and an overall state of metabolic distress. | 5 | Viscosity properties and strong liquid behavior of Pr_(60)Ni_(25)Al_(15) bulk metallic glass-forming liquids显示文摘Pr60Ni25Al15 bulk metallic glass in a cuboid form with dimensions of 2 mm×2 mm×55 mm by copper mold casting method was cast. The dynamic viscosity near the glass transition region for Pr60Ni25Al15 was measured by three-point beam bending methods. The fragility parameter m and activation energy for viscous flow of the liquid sample were calculated to be:m=31.66,E=10689.17 K,respectively. It was shown that the supercooled liquid of Pr60Ni25Al15 alloy behaved much closer to strong glasses. The variation of active energy with temperature in supercooled liquid was analyzed. | 9 | Optical soliton in a one-dimensional array of a metal nanoparticle-microcavity complex显示文摘Quantum coherence can be enhanced by placing metal nanoparticles(MNPs)in optical microcavities.Combining localized-surface plasmon resonances(LSPRs),nonlinear interaction between the LSPR and microcavity arrays of a MNP-microcavity complex offer a unique playground to observe novel optical phenomena and develop novel concepts for quantum manipulation.Here we theoretically demonstrate that optical solitons are achievable with a one-dimensional array which consists of a chain of periodically spaced identical MNP-microcavity complex systems.These differ from the solitons which stem from the MNPs with nonlinear Kerr-like response;the optical soliton here originates from LSPR-microcavity interaction.Using experimentally achievable parameters,we identify the conditions under which the nonlinearity induced by LSPR-microcavity interaction allows us to compensate for the dispersion caused by photon hopping of adjacent microcavities.More interestingly,the dynamics of solitons can be modulated by varying the radius of the MNP.The presented results illustrate the potential to utilize the MNP-microcavity complex for light manipulation,as well as to guide the design of photon switch and on-chip photon architecture. | Ning Ji Tao Shui Yi-Lou Liu Wang-Rui Zhang Xiu-Mei Chen Wen-Xing Yang | 2021 | Communications in Theoretical Physics2021,73,11: | 0 |
