| 1 | Pathology of atherosclerotic coronary artery disease in the young Indian population显示文摘Atherosclerotic coronary artery disease (CAD) is of great concern in young adults because of its potential to cause great incapacitation.This arena of cardiology has gained importance in South Asian countries,particularly India due to increased prevalence that is related to traditional risk factors,altered life styles and inherent risk factors.In this study,we sought to evaluate,at autopsy,the pathology of atherosclerotic CAD in young patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD).A 10-year retrospective autopsy-based study was carried out in a large tertiary-care centre and patients aged ≤45 years with IHD were selected.Out of 545 autopsied cases of IHD,95 patients (17.4%) were young.Among these 95 patients,84 (88.4%) had IHD related to atherosclerotic CAD;the youngest patient was 18years old.Predictably there was sole involvement of left anterior descending artery and the presence of fibrous plaques.Irrespective of the plaque morphology,the commonest complication was thrombosis produced by plaque erosion seen in 36.9% of patients.Acute coronary insufficiency was noted in 52 patients (61.9%),while healed infarctions were surprisingly noted in 28 patients (33.3%).Screening for IHD in the young population may help to improve prognosis by detecting subclinical disease,although more studies are necessary to establish reference limits for this young population.Additional research must also focus on treatment concerns that are specific to young patients. | Pradeep Vaideeswar Shashank Tyagi Saranya Singaravel | 2019 | Forensic Sciences Research2019，4，3： | 4 |
| 2 | Lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma of the breast presenting as breast abscess显示文摘Lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma(LELC) is a rare type of neoplasm in which only twenty cases have been reported in the breast. This type of tumor can be difficult to distinguish from other breast tumors particularly medullary carcinoma and lymphoma in the breast. We present a case of LELC of the breast presenting as an abscess along with a review of the literature. This is the 21 st reported case of LELC of the breast and the first case to present as an abscess. Her clinical picture could have been mistaken for other infectious or inflammatory diseases. | 3 | Selectivity switch in transformation of CO2 from ethanol to methanol on Cu embedded in the defect carbon显示文摘The copper-based catalysts have been generally regarded as high-performance catalysts for CO_2 hydrogenation toward methanol,while the production of ethanol via C–C coupling on the copper-based catalysts is still challenging.Herein,we report a new catalyst where Cu nanoparticles are embedded in the carbon support with abundant defect sites,achieving a high selectivity for ethanol in the CO_2 hydrogenation.The experiments coupled with the theoretical studies show a clear map where carbon defects serve as anchor sites that can stabilize interfacial copper species,and interfacial Cu sites with low coordination numbers can adsorb two C_1 species and later convert them to a C_2 species via a hydrogenation-induced coupling reaction.Further adjacent Cu atoms of interfacial Cu sites can facilitate OH reduction reactions via the Cu–Cu bridge adsorption to assist the formation of ethanol.Especially,those specific active sites easily disappear in the reducing conditions and during the reaction,the major product can transform from ethanol to methanol. | Shuohao Li Govindarajan Saranya Mingyang Chen Yan Zhu | 2020 | Science China Chemistry2020，63，5： | 2 |

| 5 | Incidental non-benign gallbladder histopathology after cholecystectomy in an United Kingdom population: Need for routine histological analysis?显示文摘AIM To analyse the range of histopathology detected in the largest published United Kingdom series of cholecystectomy specimens and to evaluate the rational for selective histopathological analysis.METHODS Incidental gallbladder malignancy is rare in the United Kingdom with recent literature supporting selective histological assessment of gallbladders after routine cholecystectomy.All cholecystectomy gallbladder specimens examined by the histopathology department at our hospital during a five year period between March 2008 and March 2013 were retrospectively analysed.Further data was collected on all specimens demonstrating carcinoma,dysplasia and polypoid growths.RESULTS The study included 4027 patients.The majority(97%) of specimens exhibited gallstone or cholecystitis related disease.Polyps were demonstrated in 44(1.09%),the majority of which were cholesterol based(41/44).Dysplasia,ranging from low to multifocal high-grade was demonstrated in 55(1.37%).Incidental primary gallbladder adenocarcinoma was detected in 6 specimens(0.15%,5 female and 1 male),and a single gallbladder revealed carcinoma in situ(0.02%).This large single centre study demonstrated a full range of gallbladder disease from cholecystectomy specimens,including more than 1% neoplastic histology and two cases of macroscopically occult gallbladder malignancies.CONCLUSION Routine histological evaluation of all elective and emergency cholecystectomies is justified in a United Kingdom population as selective analysis has potential to miss potentially curable life threatening pathology. | Krashna Patel Khaled Dajani Satheesh Iype Nikolaos A Chatzizacharias Saranya Vickramarajah Susan Davies Rebecca Brais Siong S Liau Simon Harper Asif Jah Raaj K Praseedom Emmanuel L Huguet | 2016 | World Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery2016，8，10： | 2 |

| 14 | Effects of space and temperature dependent internal heat generation/absorption on MHD flow of a nanofluid over a stretching sheet显示文摘In this paper we analyzed the effects of space and temperature dependent internal heat generation/absorption(non-uniform heat source/sink) on magnetohydrodynamic boundary layer flow of water based nanofluid over a stretching sheet with different nanoparticles. The flow is generated due to linear stretching of the sheet and influenced by uniform magnetic field, which is applied normally to the stretching sheet. A scaling group of transformation is used to reduce the governing momentum and energy equations into non-linear ordinary differential equations. The resulting differential equations are solved analytically using hypergeometric functions and numerically by the fourth order Runge-Kutta method with shooting technique. The influence of nanoparticle volume fraction, magnetic field, Prandtl number, non uniform heat source/sink, local skin friction coefficient and reduced Nusselt number are investigated for different nanoparticles. | GANGA B.
