1Experimental and Numerical Investigation on Impact Performance of Carbon Reinforced Aluminum Laminates显示文摘It is known that fiber metal laminates (FML) as one of hybrid materials with thin metal sheets and fiber/epoxy layers have the characteristics of the excellent damage tolerance, fatigue and impact properties with a relatively low density. Therefore, the mechanical components using FML can contribute the enhanced safety level of the sound construction toward the whole body. In this study, the impact performance of carbon reinforced aluminum laminates (CARAL) is investigated by experiments and numerical simulations. Drop weight tests are carried out with the weight of 4.7 kg at the speed of 1 and 2 m/s, respectively. Dynamic non-linear transient analyses are also accomplished using a finite element analysis software, ABAQUS. The experiment results and numerical results are compared with impact load-time histories. Also, energy-time histories are applied to investigate the impact performance of CARAL.S.H. Song Y.S. 12CERIUM-INDUCED GRAIN BOUNDARY STRENGTHENINGOF Ni_3Al ALLOYS显示文摘The infiuence of cerium on grnin boundaries of polycrpstalline N3Al alloys has beenstudied. The ja6mcability of a Ce-doped N3Al alloy strongly depends on the certumcontent. The alloy exhibits very poor fabrica6ility and cannot be fabrtcated into goodsheet8 by cold rolling when the concentmtion of cerium is <0. 0088wt% or>0.044wt%.A 0.011wt%Ce-doped N3Al alloy exhibits relatively good fabricability and may be fab-ricated into useful sheets by repeated cold rolling with 1OOa C annealing. The ductilityof the alloy strongly depends on the cerium distribution.
