1Structural architecture of Neoproterozoic rifting depression groups in the Tarim Basin and their formation dynamics显示文摘The Tarim Basin is the largest, oil-bearing, superimposed basin in the northwest of China. The evolution and tectonic properties of the initial Tarim Basin have been hotly disputed and remain enigmatic. The Neoproterozoic basin is covered by a vast desert and a huge-thickness of sedimentary strata, has experienced multiple tectonic movements, had a low signal to noise ratios(SNRs) of deep seismic reflection data, all of which have posed critical obstacles to research. We analysed four field outcrops, 18 wells distributed throughout the basin, 27 reprocessed seismic reflection profiles with higher SNRs across the basin and many ancillary local 2D and 3D profiles and aeromagnetic data. We found about 20 normal fault-controlled rifting depressions of the Cryogenian and Ediacaran scattered throughout the basin, which developed on the Precambrian metamorphic and crystalline basement. The structural framework is clearly different from that of the overlying Phanerozoic. The rifting depressions consist of mainly half grabens, symmetrical troughs and horst-grabens. From the northeast to southwest of the basin,they are divided into three rifting depression groups with the WNW, ENE, and NW-trends that are mainly controlled by normal faults. The maximum thicknesses of the strata are up to 4100 m. From the Cryogenian to Ediacaran, most of the main inherited faults to active and eventually ceased at the end of the Ediacaran or Early Cambrian, while subsidence centres appeared and migrated eastward along the faults. They revealed that the different parts of the Tarim continental block were in NNE-SSWoriented and NNW-SSE-oriented extensional paleo-stress fields(relative to the present) during the Neoproterozoic, and were accompanied by clockwise shearing. According to the analysis of the activities of syn-sedimentary faults, filling sediments,magmatic events, and coordination with aeromagnetic anomalies, the tectonic properties of the fault depressions are different and are primarily continental rifts or intra-continental fault-controlled basins. 2Research on neck dissection for oral squamous-cell carcinoma:a bibliometric analysis显示文摘Neck dissection for oral squamous-cell carcinoma(OSCC)is a clinically controversial issue and has therefore been the subject of abundant research.However,no one has performed a bibliometric study on this topic to date.The aim of this study was to assess the development of research on neck dissection for OSCC in terms of the historical evolution,current hotspots and future directions,particularly including research trends and frontiers from 2010 to 2019.Literature records related to research on neck dissection for OSCC were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection(WoSCC).CiteSpace was used as a tool to perform a bibliometric analysis of this topic.The survey included 2096 papers.“Otorhinolaryngology”was the most popular research area.The most active institutions and countries were Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the USA,respectively.Shah J.P.was the most cited author.Among the six identified“core journals”,Head&Neck ranked first.The top three trending keywords were‘invasion’,‘upper aerodigestive’and‘negative neck’.‘D’Cruz AK(2015)’was the most cited and the strongest burst reference in the last decade.The study evaluated the effect on survival of elective versus therapeutic neck dissection in patients with lateralized early-stage OSCC.The depth of invasion and the management of N0 OSCC were research frontiers in this field.The present study provides a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of research on neck dissection for OSCC,which will assist investigators in exploring potential research directions.Zhou Jiang Chenzhou Wu Shoushan Hu Nailin Liao Yingzhao Huang Haoran Ding Ruohan Li Yi Li 2021International Journal of Oral Science2021,13,2:1
3Health benefits from the rapid reduction in ambient exposure to air pollutants after China’s clean air actions:progress in efficacy and geographic equality显示文摘Clean air actions(CAAs)in China have been linked to considerable benefits in public health.However,whether the beneficial effects of CAAs are equally distributed geographically is unknown.Using high-resolution maps of the distributions of major air pollutants(fine particulate matter[PM_(2.5)]and ozone[O_(3)])and population,we aimed to track spatiotemporal changes in health impacts from,and geographic inequality embedded in,the reduced exposures to PM_(2.5)and O_(3)from 2013 to 2020.We used a method established by the Global Burden of Diseases Study.By analyzing the changes in loss of life expectancy(LLE)attributable to PM_(2.5)and O_(3),we calculated the gain of life expectancy(GLE)to quantify the health benefits of the air-quality improvement.Finally,we assessed the geographic inequality embedded in the GLE using the Gini index(GI).Based on risk assessments of PM_(2.5)and O_(3),during the first stage of CAAs(2013 to 2017),the mean GLE was 1.87 months.Half of the sum of the GLE was disproportionally distributed in about one quarter of the population exposed(GI 0.44).During the second stage of CAAs(2017 to 2020),the mean GLE increased to 3.94 months and geographic inequality decreased(GI 0.18).According to our assessments,CAAs were enhanced,from the first to second stages,in terms of not only preventing premature mortality but also ameliorating health inequalities.The enhancements were related to increased sensitivity to the health effects of air pollution and synergic control of PM_(2.5)and O_(3)levels.Our findings will contribute to optimizing future CAAs.Tao Xue Ruohan Wang Meng Wang Yanying Wang Dan Tong Xia Meng Conghong Huang Siqi Ai Fangzhou Li Jingyuan Cao Mingkun Tong Xueqiu Ni Hengyi Liu Jianyu Deng Hong Lu Wei Wan Jicheng Gong Shiqiu Zhang Tong Zhu 2024National Science Review2024,11,2:0
4Single-Atom Lithiophilic Sites Confined within Ordered Porous Carbon for Ultrastable Lithium Metal Anodes显示文摘Attributing to the high specific capacity and low electrochemical reduction potential,lithium(Li)metal is regarded as the most promising anode for high-energy Li batteries.However,the growth of lithium dendrites and huge volume change seriously limit the development of lithium metal batteries.To overcome these challenges,an ordered mesoporous N-doped carbon with lithiophilic single atoms is proposed to induce uniform nucleation and deposition of Li metal.Benefiting from the synergistic effects of interconnected three-dimensional ordered mesoporous structures and abundant lithiophilic single-atom sites,regulated local current density and rapid mass transfer can be achieved,leading to the uniform Li deposition with inhibition of dendrites and buffered volume expansion.As a result,the as-fabricated anode exhibits a high CE of 99.8%for 200 cycles.A stable voltage hysteresis of 14 mV at 5 mA cm^(−2)could be maintained for more than 1330 h in the symmetric cell.Furthermore,the full cell coupled with commercial LiFePO_(4)exhibits high reversible capacity of 108 mAh g^(−1)and average Coulombic efficiency of 99.8%from 5th to 350th cycles at 1 C.The ordered mesoporous carbon host with abundant lithiophilic single-atom sites delivers new inspirations into rational design of high-performance Li metal anodes.Wenzhong Huang Shanlin Liu Ruohan Yu Liang Zhou Zhenhui Liu Liqiang Mai 2023Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,3:0
5The effect of cylindrospermopsin on the bacterioplankton community:a microcosm experiment on water from Dishui Lake,Shanghai,China显示文摘Eutrophication and climate warming have intensified the global expansion of invasive cyanobacteria such as Cylindrospermopsis spp.and Chrysosporum spp.Cylindrospermopsin(CYN)produced by species of the latter two genera may harm phytoplankton,zooplankton,and fishes.However,effects of CYN on the bacterioplankton community have not been studied.Based on high-throughput sequencing,we explored the effect of CYN on the structure and function of the bacterioplankton community by adding pure CYN to in-situ water collected from a brackish coastal shallow lake:Dishui Lake,China.We found that most bacterioplankton taxa had a certain tolerance potential to CYN,but that high concentrations of CYN(40μg/L)caused a significant decrease in microbial abundance and functional groups.Of the dominant phyla,Actinobacteria had the strongest tolerance to CYN.Network analysis indicated that CYN caused shifts in the community structure of the bacterioplankton,reducing community stability and structural complexity.High CYN concentrations also reduced the correlation between the different bacterioplankton groups,and the abundances of some bacterial taxa associated with the denitrification function and the process of carbon transfer in the microbial food web were inhibited.Our study provide s new insight into the response of the bacterioplankton communities to harmful algal toxins produced by cyanobacteria.Sicheng YIN Ruohan HUANG Erik JEPPESEN Lijing CHEN Liqing WANG Xin FANG Wei ZHANG 2022Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2022,40,5:0
6Metabolic signatures and potential biomarkers for the diagnosis and treaeatment of colon cancer cachexia显示文摘Cancer cachexia(CAC)is a debilitating condition that often arises from noncachexia cancer(NCAC),with distinct metabolic characteristics and medical treatments.However,the metabolic changes and underlying molecular mechanisms during cachexia progression remain poorly understood.Understanding the progression of CAC is crucial for developing diagnostic approaches to distinguish between CAC and NCAC stages,facilitating appropriate treatment for cancer patients.In this study,we establish a mouse model of colon CAC and categorize the mice into three groups:CAC,NCAC and normal control(NOR).By performing nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)-based metabolomic profiling on mouse sera,we elucidate the metabolic properties of these groups.Our findings unveil significant differences in the metabolic profiles among the CAC,NCAC and NOR groups,highlighting significant impairments in energy metabolism and amino acid metabolism during cachexia progression.Additionally,we observe the elevated serum levels of lysine and acetate during the transition from the NCAC to CAC stages.Using multivariate ROC analysis,we identify lysine and acetate as potential biomarkers for distinguishing between CAC and NCAC stages.These biomarkers hold promise for the diagnosis of CAC from noncachexia cancer.Our study provides novel insights into the metabolic mechanisms underlying cachexia progression and offers valuable avenues for the diagnosis and treatment of CAC in clinical settings.Xu Qiu Ruohan Lu Qiqing He Shu Chen Caihua Huang Donghai Lin 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,12:0
