6Mechanical characterization of rose bengal and green light crosslinked collagen scaffolds for regenerative medicine显示文摘Collagen is one of the most important biomaterials for tissue engineering approaches.Despite its excellent biocompatibility,it shows the non-negligible disadvantage of poor mechanical stability.Photochemical crosslinking with rose bengal and green light(RGX)is an appropriate method to improve this property.The development of collagen laminates is helpful for further adjustment of the mechanical properties as well as the controlled release of incorporated substances.In this study,we investigate the impact of crosslinking and layering of two different collagen scaffolds on the swelling behavior andmechanical behavior inmicro tensile tests to obtain information on its wearing comfort(stiffness,strength and ductility).The mechanical stability of the collagen material after degradation due to cell contact is examined using thickness measurements.There is no linear increase or decrease due to layering homologous laminates.Unexpectedly,a decrease in elongation at break,Young’s modulus and ultimate tensile strength are measured when the untreated monolayer is compared to the crosslinked one.Furthermore,we can detect a connection between stability and cell proliferation.The results show that with variation in number and type of layers,collagen scaffolds with tailored mechanical properties can be produced.Such a multi-layered structure enables the release of biomolecules into inner or outer layers for biomedical applications.Joy Braun Stefanie Eckes Michelle Fiona Kilb Dirk Fischer Claudia Eßbach Pol Maria Rommens Philipp Drees Katja Schmitz Daniela Nickel Ulrike Ritz 2021Regenerative Biomaterials2021,8,6:0
7加利福尼亚州洛杉矶县环境空气污染与自闭症显示文摘[背景]自闭症(AD)是一种严重的发育问题,在过去20年中自闭症的患病率急剧升高。但是,在自闭症发病原因方面以人群为基础的高质量研究却为数不多。[目的]采用来自空气监测站数据,研究孕期交通相关的空气污染暴露对自闭症形成的影响,通过土地利用回归(LUR)模型来估算暴露情况。[方法]通过加州发展服务局和1995—2006年加州出生证明,选择出生于加利福尼亚州洛杉矶并在3-5岁时(1998—2009年期间)诊断为原发性AD的儿童。共7603名自闭症儿童,每1例设10名对照者,以性别、出生年份、最低胎龄相匹配,在地图上标识出生地址,并与最近的空气监测站和LUR模型联系起来。使用条件logistic回归,以孕妇和围产期特点(包括社会经济地位指标)进行调整。[结果]2种污染物相互调整后,臭氧[体积分数每增加11.54×10-9,比值比(OR)=1.12,95%CI:1.06-1.19]和≤2.5μm颗粒物[每增加4.68μg/m3,OR=1.15,95%CI:1.06~1.24]每增加1个四分位数间距(IQR),自闭症患病率相对增加12%-15%。此外,基于LUR的一氧化氮和二氧化氮暴露估计值每增加1个IQR,患病几率相对增加3%-9%。母亲教育程度低于高中的儿童,其基于LUR的关联最强。[结论]从环境污染物监测和LUR模型得出的暴露测量值和估计值提示,自闭症与产前空气污染暴露相关,主要与交通来源的污染相关。Tracy Ann Becerra Michelle Wilhelm J rn Olsen Myles Cockburn Beate Ritz 2013环境与职业医学2013,30,6:0
