1Efficacy of Yinzhihuang Granules and Entecavir on Hepatitis B-induced Cirrhosis显示文摘[Objectives]This study aimed to observe the efficacy and safety of Yinzhihuang granules and entecavir in the treatment of hepatitis B-induced cirrhosis.[Methods]Total 80 patients with decompensated hepatitis B-induced cirrhosis were evenly and randomly divided into two groups,treatment group and control group.The patients in the treatment group were given orally with 0.25 mg entecavir and 5000 mg Yinzhihuang granules once a day,and those in the control group were given orally with 0.5 mg entecavir once a day.The levels of aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),hyaluronic acid(HA)and HBV DNA,the Child-Pugh score,and the positive situation of HBeAg in different groups were observed before treatment and 12,24,48 and 96 weeks after the treatment,respectively.[Results]The serum ALT,AST,HA and HBV DNA levels,the HBeAg positive rate,and the Child-Pugh score in the treatment and control groups were significantly improved after the treatment(P<0.05).The improvement of the above indicators in the treatment group at week 96 was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).[Conclusions]The combination of Yinzhihuang granules and entecavir is superior to entecavir in the treatment of decompensated hepatitis B-induced cirrhosis.Fen TANG Guifang TANG Ruiling CHEN Zhenyi LIU Riming WEI 2019Medicinal Plant2019,10,5:2
2Regulation Mechanism of TFP on TGF-β1/STAT3 Signaling Pathway in Immune-mediated Liver Injury in Mice显示文摘[Objectives]To study the effect of total flavonoids extracted from Polygonum perfoliatum L.(TFP)on immune-mediated liver injury induced by bacillus Calmette-Guerin plus lipopolysaccharide(BCG+LPS)in mice,and to explore its action mechanism.[Methods]60 Kunming mice were divided into normal group,model group,control group(bifendate)and TFP low,medium and high dose groups according to random number table method,with 10 mice in each group.On the first day of modeling,mice were injected with 0.2 mL of BCG solution(12.5 mg/mL)through the tail vein,and on the eleventh day,0.2 mL of LPS(37.5μg/mL)were injected into the tail vein to prepare a mouse model of immune-mediated liver injury;from the first day of modeling,the normal group and the model group were administered intragastrically with the corresponding volume of distilled water,and the bifendate group and the TFP high,medium,and low dose groups were administered intragastrically with the corresponding doses once a day for 11 d.After the last time administration,fasting but giving water for 16 h,took blood from eyes,then collected the liver tissue.The levels of alanine transaminase(ALT)and aspartate transaminase(AST)in serum were detected by biochemical method;transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1),interleukin-6(IL-6)and interleukin-1β(IL-1β)expression levels in liver tissue were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA);phosphorylated protein tyrosine kinase JAK-2(p-JAK2),phosphorylated signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(p-STAT3)protein expression levels were detected by Western Blot method;the degree of liver tissue lesions was detected by HE staining.[Results]Compared with the model group,the levels of ALT and AST in the serum of mice in each dose group of TFP(high dose 600 mg/kg,medium dose 400 mg/kg,and low dose 200 mg/kg)were reduced,and the activities of T-SOD and GSH-Px were increased;the content or expression ofβ1,ICAM-1,IL-6,IL-1βdecreased,and the expression of p-JAK2 and p-STAT3 protein decreased;pathological sections showed that the degree of inflammatory necrosis and the degree of lesions in the liver tissues of each dose group of TFP were reduced by varying degrees.[Conclusions]TFP has a protective effect on BCG+LPS-induced immune-mediated liver injury in mice.The mechanism may be related to regulating the phosphorylation level of JAK2 and inhibiting the inflammatory reaction,thereby regulating the TGF-β1/STAT3 signaling pathway and improving the immune-mediated liver injury.Yuanyu LIAN Jie XU Ya GAO Kefeng ZHANG Riming WEI 2020Medicinal Plant2020,11,4:0
3Preparation Process of Liposome of Polysaccharides of Dicliptera chinensis显示文摘[Objectives] The research aimed to study preparation process of liposome of polysaccharides of Dicliptera chinensis( DCP) and investigate its quality.[Methods] Thin film ultrasonic technology and uniform design were used to prepare DCP liposome,and the process was optimized. [Results] DCP liposome obtained by the optimized process had below parameters: entrapment efficiency( 54. 79 ± 1. 30) %,average drug loading rate( 5. 48 ± 0. 12) %,average particle size( 354. 63 ± 7. 04) nm,Zeta potential(-22. 51 ± 1. 13) m V. 4Effects of Mogroside V on Glucose and Lipid Metabolism in High Fat Diet Mice显示文摘[Objectives]To explore the effects and mechanism of mogroside V(MV)on glucose and lipid metabolism in high-fat diet(HFD)mice.[Methods]The experiment fed mice with high-fat diet for 8 weeks,and 40 mice with successful modeling were randomly divided into normal group,model group,and MV dose group(100,200 mg/kg),with 10 mice in each group.From the ninth week,the MV dose group was given intragastric administration,and the normal group and the model group were given an equal volume of distilled water by intragastric administration for 6 weeks,then killed and blood samples and livers were collected.Serum triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),free fatty acids(FFA),Advanced glycation end products(AGE-P)-peptides(AGE-P)and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)content,and TG and hepatic glycogen content in liver were detected by biochemical method.Fasting blood glucose(FBG)was measured by glucose oxidase method.The fasting serum insulin(FINS)content was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and the insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)was calculated.Oil red O staining was used to observe the fat deposition in liver tissue.[Results]MV(100,200 mg/kg)dose groups could significantly down-regulate the contents of TC,TG,LDL-C,FBG,FINS,AGE-P and HbA1c and HOMA-IR,and up-regulate HDL-C and hepatic glycogen content and reduce the fat deposits.[Conclusions]The mechanism of MV regulating glucose and lipid metabolism in mice may be related to the regulation of insulin resistance.Riming WEI Haiping LIU 2022Medicinal Plant2022,13,3:0
5Single-atomic tungsten-doped Co_(3)O_(4) nanosheets for enhanced electrochemical kinetics in lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘The practical application of lithium–sulfur batteries(LSBs)is severely hindered by the undesirable shuttling of lithium polysulfides(LiPSs)and sluggish redox kinetics of sulfur species.Herein,a series of ultrathin singleatomic tungsten-doped Co_(3)O_(4)(Wx-Co_(3)O_(4))nanosheets as catalytic additives in the sulfur cathode for LSBs are rationally designed and synthesized.Benefiting from the enhanced catalytic activity and optimized electronic structure by W doping,the Wx-Co_(3)O_(4) not only reduces the shuttling of LiPSs but also decreases the energy barrier of sulfur redox reactions of sulfur species,leading to accelerated electrode kinetic.As a result,LSB cathodes with the use of 5.0 wt%W0.02-Co_(3)O_(4) as the electrocatalyst show the high reversible capacities of 1217.0 and 558.6 mAh g^(-1) at 0.2 and 5.0 C,respectively,and maintain a high reversible capacity of 644.6 mAh g^(-1) at 1.0 C(1.0 C=1675 mA g^(-1))after 500 cycles.With a high sulfur loading of 5.5 mg cm^(-2) and electrolyte–electrode ratio of 8μL_(electrolyte) mg_(sulfur)^(-1),the 5.0 wt%W_(0.02)-Co_(3)O_(4)-based sulfur cathode also retains a high reversible areal capacity of 3.86 mAh cm^(-2) at 0.1 C after 50 cycles with an initial capacity retention of 84.7%.Sangni Wang Riming Hu Ding Yuan Lei Zhang Chao Wu Tianyi Ma Wei Yan Rui Wang Liang Liu Xuchuan Jiang Hua Kun Liu Shi Xue Dou Yuhai Dou Jiantie Xu 2023Carbon Energy2023,5,8:0
6Protective Effects and Action Mechanism of Total Flavonoids of POLYGONI PERFOLIATI HERBA on Rats with Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis显示文摘[Objectives]To study the protective effects and mechanism of POLYGONI PERFOLIATI HERBA on rats with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis( NASH). [Methods] Sixty rats were randomly divided into normal group,model group,metformin group( 0. 5 mg/kg),and high dose,medium dose,and low dose groups of total flavonoids of POLYGONI PERFOLIATI HERBA( 600,300,150 mg/kg). The standard feed was given to the normal group,and the model group and the total flavonoids groups were fed with high-fat diet for 13 weeks to establish the NASH rat model. At the 8 th week,the metformin group and the POLYGONI PERFOLIATI HERBA total flavonoids groups were given with the corresponding drug treatment for 6 weeks,blood was taken from the eyeball to collect liver tissue. Biochemical method was used to determine ALT,AST,TC,TG,HDL-c,LDL-c,SOD,MDA,GSH-Px activity or content in serum and HOMA-IR,and ELISA was used to measure the TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 content in liver tissue; Western blotting was used to detect the expression levels of AMPK,p-AMPK and ACC in liver tissue. [Results] Total flavonoids of POLYGONI PERFOLIATI HERBA could significantly decrease the activity or content of ALT,AST and MDA in serum of NASH rats( P < 0. 05,P < 0. 01),and enhance the activity of SOD and GSH-Px( P < 0. 05,P < 0. 01),reduce serum TC,TG,LDL-c levels and insulin resistance index,increase HDL-c levels( P < 0. 05,P < 0. 01); down-regulate liver IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α,ACC levels and up-regulate p-AMPK expression( P < 0. 05,P < 0. 01). [Conclusions]The total flavonoids of POLYGONI PERFOLIATI HERBA have a good protective effect on NASH rats,and its mechanism may be related to the functions of regulating the lipid metabolism,alleviating insulin resistance,inhibiting oxidative stress,inhibiting inflammatory reaction and regulating AMPK and ACC protein expression.Ya GAO Kefeng ZHANG Riming WEI 2018Medicinal Plant2018,9,5:0
