| 2 | LC and LC–MS/MS studies for the identification and characterization of degradation products of acebutolol显示文摘The aim of the present investigation was to demonstrate an approach involving use of liquid chromatography(LC) and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC–MS) to separate, identify and characterize very small quantities of degradation products(DPs) of acebutolol without their isolation from the reaction mixtures. The drug was subjected to oxidative, hydrolytic, thermal and photolytic stress conditions as per International Conference on Harmonization(ICH) guideline Q1 A(R2). Among all the stress conditions the drug was found to be labile in hydrolytic(acidic & basic) and photolytic stress conditions, while it was stable in water-induced hydrolysis, oxidative and thermal stress conditions. A total of four degradation products were formed. A C18 column was employed for the separation of all the DPs on a gradient mode by using high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC). All the DPs were characterized with the help of their fragmentation pattern and the masses obtained upon LC–MS/MS and MSnanalysis. All the hitherto unknown degradation products were identified as 1-(2-(2-hydroxy-3-(isopropylamino)propoxy)-5-(amino)phenyl)ethanone(DP-I), N-(4-(2-hydroxy-3-(isopropylamino)propoxy)-3-acetylphenyl)acrylamide(DP-II), 1-(2-(2-hydroxy-3-(isopropylamino)propoxy)-5-(hydroxymethylamino)phenyl)ethanone(DP-III) and 1-(6-(2-hydroxy-3-(isopropylamino)propoxy)-2,3-dihydro-2-propylbenzo[d]oxazol-5-yl)ethanone(DP-IV). Finally the in-silico carcinogenicity and hepatotoxicity predictions of the drug and all the DPs were performed by using toxicity prediction softwares viz., TOPKAT, LAZAR and Discovery Studio ADMET. | 3 | LC,MS^n and LC-MS/MS studies for the characterization of degradation products of amlodipine显示文摘In the present study,comprehensive stress testing of amlodipine(AM) was carried out according to International Conference on Harmonization(ICH) Q1A(R2) guideline.AM was subjected to acidic,neutral and alkaline hydrolysis,oxidation,photolysis and thermal stress conditions.The drug showed instability in acidic and alkaline conditions,while it remained stable to neutral,oxidative,light and thermal stress.A total of nine degradation products(DPs) were formed from AM.which could be separated by the developed gradient LC method on a C_(18) column.The products formed under various stress conditions were investigated by LC-MS/MS analysis.The previously developed LC method was suitably modified for LC-MS/MS studies by replacing phosphate buffer with ammonium acetate buffer of the same concentration(pH 5.0).A complete fragmentation pathway of the drug was first established to characterize all the degradation products using LC-MS/MS and multi-stage mass(MS^n) fragmentation studies.The obtained mass values were used to study elemental compositions,and the total information helped with the identification of DPs.along with its degradation pathway. | Ravi N.Tiwari Nishit Shah Vikas Bhalani Anand Mahajan | 2015 | Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2015,5,1: | 2 |

| 9 | Molybdenum disulfide-graphene van der Waals heterostructures as stable and sensitive electrochemical sensing platforms显示文摘Atomic layers are sought after for molecular sensing due to their available high surface interaction area,and different types of monolayers are attempted for sensing in the recent past.However,their chemical stability towards these molecules is questioned in recent times and alternate methods need to be developed to circumvent such issues,while maintaining high sensitivity.Here,the van der Waals(vdWs)stacks of molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))and graphene are shown for their stable electrochemical sensing towards ascorbic acid(AA)and dopamine(DA)-two important biomolecules.AA is known to chemically react with MoS_(2) leading to unstable sensing platform,while here the graphene coverage is shown to protect the MoS_(2) even from low-energy plasma exposure while keeping the same high sensitivity.Upon proving the graphene-based protection of the sensor,such a sensing platform is shown for its applicability in DA sensing,where it is found to give a linear response in a wide range of concentrations(2.5 to 600μmol·L^(−1))and even selective sensing in the presence of AA.Such a stack is found to be not merely giving protection to the beneath MoS_(2) layer but also the inter-layer charge transfer due to work function differences being beneficial in bringing fast and high sensitivity to the next-generation sensors and point-of-care devices. | Stelbin Peter Figerez Kiran Kumar Tadi Krishna Rani Sahoo Rahul Sharma Ravi K.Biroju Aleena Gigi KAiswarya Anand Golap Kalita Tharangattu N.Narayanan | 2020 | Tungsten2020,2,4: | 1 |

| 13 | Differential fault location identification by machine learning显示文摘As the fault‐based attacks are becoming a more pertinent threat in today's era of edge computing/internet‐of‐things,there is a need to streamline the existing tools for better accuracy and ease of use,so that we can gauge the attacker's power and a proper countermeasure can be devised in the long run.In this regard,we propose a machine learning(ML)assisted tool that can be used in the context of a differential fault attack.In particular,finding the exact fault location by analysing the output difference(typically the XOR of the nonfaulty and the faulty ciphertexts)is somewhat nontrivial.During the literature survey,we notice that the Pearson's correlation coefficient dominantly is used for this purpose,and has almost become the defacto standard.While this method can yield good accuracy for certain cases,we argue that an MLbased method is more powerful in all the situations we experiment with.We sub-stantiate our claim by showing the relative performances(we choose the commonly used multilayer perceptron as our ML tool)with two variants of Grain‐128a(a stream cipher,and a stream cipher with authentication),the lightweight stream cipher LIZARD and the lightweight block cipher SIMON‐32(where the faults are injected at the fifth last rounds).Our results demonstrate that a common ML tool can outperform the correlation with the same training/testing data.We believe that our work extends the state‐of‐the‐art by showing how traditional cryptographic methods can be replaced by a more powerful ML tool. | Anubhab Baksi Santanu Sarkar Akhilesh Siddhanti Ravi Anand Anupam Chattopadhyay | 2021 | CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2021,6,1: | 0 |
