| 3 | Evaluation of water resources conserved by forests in the Hani rice terraces system of Honghe County,Yunnan,China:an application of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model显示文摘The Hani Rice Terraces System, based on gravity-flow irrigation, is one of the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems(GIAHS) pilot sites selected by FAO in 2010. The water resource plays an important role in the sustainable development of this system. The value of water conserved by the forest is influenced by natural, economic and social factors. In this paper, the water quality, per capita water resources, per capita GDP and population density are chosen as indices to construct an index system for a comprehensive evaluation of water resources value. The weights of these indices are 0.443, 0.31, 0.141 and 0.106 respectively, which are determined by the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) method. The water resources value has been assessed by the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model. The results show that the water resources value in the Hani Rice Terraces System is 4.25 RMB/m^3. | 4 | Geographical genetic diversity and divergence of common wild rice (O. rufipogon Griff.) in China显示文摘Using 36 SSR markers and 889 accessions of common wild rice in China, the genetic diversity and the divergence among different geographical populations are investigated. Guangdong Province has the largest number of alleles, which account for 84% of the total alleles detected in the study, followed by Guangxi Province. The Nei's gene diversity indices, from high to low, are in the sequence of Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangxi, and Yunnan provinces. Two genetic diversity centers of Chinese common wild rice are detected on the basis of geographic analysis, i.e., the region covering Boluo, Zijin, Lufeng, Haifeng, Huidong and Huiyang counties of Guangdong Province and the region covering Yongning, Longan, Laibin and Guigang counties of Guangxi Province. The common wild rice in Yunnan, Hunan, Jiangxi, and Fujian provinces are diverged into respectively independent populations with relatively large genetic distances, whereas, those in Hainan, Guangdong and Guangxi provinces have relatively low genetic divergence. | 5 | A highly porous animal bone-derived char with a superiority of promoting nZVI for Cr(Ⅵ)sequestration in agricultural soils显示文摘Paddy soil and irrigation water are commonly contaminated with hexavalent chromium[Cr(Ⅵ)]near urban industrial areas,thereby threatening the safety of agricultural products and human health.In this study,we develop a porous and high specific area bone char(BC)to support nanoscale zero-valent iron(n ZVI)and apply it to remediate Cr(Ⅵ)pollution in water and paddy soil under anaerobic conditions.The batch experiments reveal that BC/n ZVI exhibits a higher removal capacity of 516.7 mg/(g·n ZVI)for Cr(Ⅵ)than n ZVI when normalized to the actual n ZVI content,which is 2.8 times that of n ZVI;moreover,the highest n ZVI utilization is the n ZVI loading of 15%(BC/n ZVI15).The Cr(Ⅵ)removal efficiency of BC/n ZVI15 decreases with increasing p H(4–10).Coexisting ions(phosphate and carbonate)and humic acid can inhibit the removal of Cr(Ⅵ)with BC/n ZVI15.Additionally,BC exhibits a strong advantage in promoting Cr(Ⅵ)removal by n ZVI compared to the widely used biochar and activated carbon.Our results demonstrate that reduction and coprecipitation are the dominant Cr(Ⅵ)removal mechanisms.Furthermore,BC/n ZVI15 shows a significantly higher reduction and removal efficiency as well as a strong anti-interference ability for Cr(Ⅵ)in paddy soil,as compared to n ZVI.These findings provide a new effective material for remediating Cr(Ⅵ)pollution from water and soil. | Kai Liu Fangbai Li Qingwen Tian Chengrong Nie Yibing Ma Zhenlong Zhu Liping Fang Yuanying Huang Siwen Liu | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,6: | 7 |

| 8 | Study on the performance of arch dam influenced by relaxation of the foundations following excavation显示文摘This paper studies the influence of a stress relaxation zone caused by foundation excavation on the performance of Jinping-I arch dam, using the orthogonal experiment method. Firstly, by adopting the characteristic stress of the dam as an index and coupling it with range analysis, the most significant factors and the degree of relaxation influence on the arch dam performance are found. This is then combined with monitoring data from the dam, and the extent of influence on the arch dam performance caused by the relaxation is evaluated through numerical analysis. The results show that the relaxation of foundation excavation has a negative impact on the performance of the arch dam in general, the extent of elastic modulus degradation in the relaxation zone being the main factor affecting stresses in the dam. | 9 | Research advance in failure risk and local strength failure for high arch dams显示文摘To develop national economy and use the water resources and hydropower resources sufficiently,a lot of high arch dams,with the height of more than 200 m,have been and will be built in China.Although arch dams have good mechanical behavior,there is still failure possibility due to the huge water pressure and high stress level in dam,complex topographic and geologic conditions,formidable environment and high intensity earthquake.As one of the three main aspects concerning the safety of high arch dam,the study on global destruction,has been elaborated in the literatures,and research advance in the other two aspects,namely the failure risk and local damage of high arch dams,will be reviewed in this paper.In recent years,the failure risk of high arch dams has been investigated,and the model for identifying dam failure risk factors has been established.It is shown that the foundation deterioration and strong earthquake are the major risk sources for high dam failure.With the fault tree method,the failure mode and failure probability of high arch dams are studied,and the principle for determining failure mode and the method of calculating failure probability are proposed.Meanwhile,the determination principle of acceptable risk standard for high arch dam was proposed,and the acceptable risk rate and the acceptable standard value of various risk losses were given.For the local damage of arch dam,it is pointed out that the local damage belongs to the strength failure at material level.The study on local failure mechanism of arch dam is reviewed,based on the theories that from traditional strength theory to damage mechanics and meso-mechanics theory.Aiming at the cracking,the main pattern of local failure of high concrete dam,the research advances in the analysis methods and cracking criteria for smeared crack model and discrete crack model are summarized,and the research findings of preventive measures for local failure are shown. | REN QingWen LI Qiang LIU Shuang | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,36: | 5 |
| 10 | One-step wet-spinning assembly of twisting-structured graphene/carbon nanotube fiber supercapacitor显示文摘Graphene fiber-based supercapacitors hold great promise as flexible energy-storage devices. However, simultaneously achieving high ion-transport ability in electrode and electrolyte layer, which is crucial for realizing the high electrochemical performance, still remains challenging. Here, a facile and effective strategy to solve the problem was proposed by developing a twisting-structured graphene/carbon nanotube(CNT) fiber supercapacitor via one-step wet-spinning process with customized multi-channel spinneret.The remarkable structure features of the resulting fiber supercapacitor with wrinkled and thin electrolyte layer, and well-developed porosity of fiber electrode favored the rapid infiltration and transport of electrolyte ions inside the electrode, as well as between electrode and electrolyte, thus boosting high specific capacitance of 187.6 mF cm^(-2) and energy density of 30.2 μWh cm^(-2), and featuring long cycling life(93%capacitance retention after 10,000 cycles) and excellent flexibility. | 11 | Simulated NH_4^+-N Deposition Inhibits CH_4 Uptake and Promotes N_2O Emission in the Meadow Steppe of Inner Mongolia, China显示文摘Few studies are conducted to quantify the effects of enhanced N deposition on soil nitrous oxide(N_2O) emission and methane(CH_4) uptake in the meadow steppe of Inner Mongolia, China. A two-year field experiment was conducted to assess the effects of nitrogen(N) deposition rates(0, 10, and 20 kg N ha^(-1)year^(-1) as(NH_4)2SO_4) on soil N_2O and CH_4 fluxes. The seasonal and diurnal variations of soil N_2O and CH_4 fluxes were determined using the static chamber-gas chromatography method during the two growing seasons of 2008 and 2009. Soil temperature, moisture and mineral N(NH_4^+-N and NO-3-N) concentration were simultaneously measured. Results showed that low level of(NH_4)2SO_4(10 kg N ha-1year-1) did not significantly affect soil CH_4 and N_2O fluxes and other variables. High level of(NH_4)_2SO_4(20 kg N ha^(-1)year) significantly increased soil NO-3-N concentration by 24.1% to35.6%, decreased soil CH_4 uptake by an average of 20.1%, and significantly promoted soil N_2O emission by an average of 98.2%.Soil N_2O emission responded more strongly to the added N compared to CH_4 uptake. However, soil CH_4 fluxes were mainly driven by soil moisture, followed by soil NO-3-N concentration. Soil N_2O fluxes were mainly driven by soil temperature, followed by soil moisture. Soil inorganic N availability was a key integrator of soil CH_4 uptake and N_2O emission. | 12 | Evolution of drainage systems and its developing trend in connection with tectonic uplift of Eastern Kunlun Mt.显示文摘The Eastern Kunlun Mt. had been subjected to uplift together with the Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) Plateau before the Early Pleistocene, and yet the Mt. did not protrude out of the Plateau surface. During that period lakes spread all over the studied region, with the drainage systems being all short rivers flowing into the lakes. At the end of the Early Pleistocene, intensive tectonic uplift led to the rising of the Eastern Kunlun Mt. and made the Mt. protrude onto the Plateau surface. | 13 | Influence of temperature on the transformation and self-control of energy during sandstone damage:Experimental and theoretical research显示文摘The surrounding rock in tunnelling engineering and coal mining will sometimes be exposed to high temperature. Rock failure is the result of energy dissipation, and the study of the evolution and transformation behavior of energy is of great significance for the in-depth understanding of the deformation and failure of rock after high temperature. This study analyzed the intrinsic connection between mechanical properties and acoustic emission(AE) energy under temperature effect. Based on the energy dissipation and release theory, the distribution and transformation of energy was analyzed, and the energy selfincentive and self-inhibition(EII) model was further established. The main findings are that temperature effect affects the confidence interval trend and the value of AE energy rate, which is related to the change in mechanical properties. The ability of sandstone to store elastic strain energy after exposure to high temperature is independent of the mechanical properties. In this study, the ratio of dissipated energy to elastic energy is used to characterize the stable state of the sandstone system, which can be used as the energy indicator of rock failure precursor. | 14 | Theory and methods of global stability analysis for high arch dam显示文摘The global stability of high arch dam is one of the key problems in the safety study of arch dams,but no feasible method with theoretical basis is available.In this paper,based on the stability theory of mechanical system,it is demonstrated that the global failure of high arch dams belongs to a physical instability starting from local strength failure,which is the extreme point instability according to the characteristics of load-displacement curve obtained from the failure process of dam-foundation system. | 16 | Growth of magnetic metals on carbon microspheres with synergetic dissipation abilities to broaden microwave absorption显示文摘Microwave absorption(MA) materials have been captured extensive attentions due to the serious electromagnetic(EM) pollution. Numerous interests focus on the MA performances of core-shell structural composites with magnetic constituents as cores and dielectric constituents as shells, which inevitably suppressed the magnetic coupling causing the decrease of magnetic loss to some extent. Herein, the coreshell structural carbon(C) microsphere/magnetic metal composites were fabricated through the combination of an electrostatic assembly approach and subsequent in-situ reduction reaction. The complex permittivity and permeability of core-shell C@magnetic metal composite system can be effective adjusted by the constituent and microstructure of shells. Thanks to the distinct magnetic coupling from the subtle designed structures and the promotion of the magnetic-dielectric synergy, the C@magnetic metal composite exhibited enhanced MA properties. The optimal reflection loss(RL) of C@Ni composite was-54.1 dB with a thickness of 3.4 mm, meanwhile the effective absorbing band could reach over 5.5 GHz at only a1.8 mm thickness. Broad absorption bandwidth with RL below-10 d B could achieve 6.0 GHz and 6.7 GHz for C@Co and C@Ni Co composites with a thin 2.1 mm thickness, respectively. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, BET, NH_3-TPD and Py-IR to reveal the microstructure and acid property. The catalysis performances of methanol aromatization of catalysts were investigated in a fixed-bed reactor. The results show that the strength and distribution of acid center of these catalysts are significantly influenced by the species of transition metal. | 20 | Nonfunctional alleles of long-day suppressor genes independently regulate flowering time显示文摘Due to the remarkable adaptability to various environments, rice varieties with diverse flowering times have abeen domesticated or improved from Oryza rufipogon.Detailed knowledge of the genetic factors controlling flowering time will facilitate understanding the adaptation mechanism in cultivated rice and enable breeders to design appropriate genotypes for distinct preferences. In this study,four genes(Hd1, DTH8, Ghd7 and OsPRR37) in a rice long-day suppression pathway were collected and sequenced in 154, 74,69 and 62 varieties of cultivated rice(Oryza sativa)respectively. Under long-day conditions, varieties with nonfunctional alleles flowered significantly earlier than those with functional alleles. However, the four genes have different genetic effects in the regulation of flowering time: Hd1 and Os PRR37 are major genes that generally regulate rice flowering time for all varieties, while DTH8 and Ghd7 only regulate regional rice varieties. Geographic analysis and network studies suggested that the nonfunctional alleles of these suppression loci with regional adaptability were derived recently and independently. Alleles with regional adaptability should be taken into consideration for genetic improvement.
