| 1 | Design and experiment of a six-row air-blowing centralized precision seed-metering device for Panax notoginseng显示文摘Panax notoginseng is grown mainly in Yunnan Province.Under the present high-density planting patterns for the plant,to solve the problems of a high rate of seed damage and the inability to use a traditional single air-blowing metering device,this paper designs a six-row air-blowing centralized precision seed-metering device for P.notoginseng to realize mechanized precision seeding of this species.This paper describes the working principle of the seed-metering device,and the main structural parameters are determined by combining theoretical calculations with simulation analysis.A mechanics model of the seed filling,cleaning and pressing processes of the seed-metering device was constructed.The seeds of P.notoginseng in Yunnan Province were selected as experimental subjects.An experimental study on the seed-metering performance of the seed-metering device was carried out using the quadratic rotation orthogonal combination test method.The outlet pressure of the air nozzle,forward velocity and cone angle of the hole were selected as test factors.Mathematical models of the grain spacing qualified index,miss index,multiple index and the coefficient of variation of the row displacement consistency were established to analyze the order of factors affecting indicators.Through parameter optimization,the optimum combination of parameters was determined as follows:the cone angle of the hole is 50°,the forward velocity is less than 0.73 m/s,and the outlet pressure of the air nozzle is 0.32-0.52 kPa.The qualified index of grain spacing is higher than 94%,the miss index is less than 3%,the multiple index is less than 5%,and the coefficient of variation of the row displacement consistency is less than 5%.The test results are essentially consistent with the optimization results.The metering device meets the requirements of precision seeding of P.notoginseng.This study provides a basis for the design of a six-row air-blowing centralized precision seed-metering device for P.notoginseng. | Qinghui Lai Kai Sun Qingxu Yu Wei Qin | 2020 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,2: | 2 |
| 2 | Research progress on distribution,sources,identification,toxicity,and biodegradation of microplastics in the ocean,freshwater,and soil environment显示文摘Microplastics(MPs)are distributed in the oceans,freshwater,and soil environment and have become major pollutants.MPs are generally referred to as plastic particles less than 5 mm in diameter.They consist of primary microplastics synthesized in microscopic size manufactured production and secondary microplastics generated by physical and environmental degradation.Plastic particles are long-lived pollutants that are highly resistant to environmental degradation.In this review,the distribution and possible sources of MPs in aquatic and terrestrial environments are described.Moreover,the adverse effects of MPs on natural creatures due to ingestion have been discussed.We also have summarized identification methods based on MPs particle size and chemical bond.To control the pollution of MPs,the biodegradation of MPs under the action of different microbes has also been reviewed in this work.This review will contribute to a better understanding of MPs pollution in the environment,as well as their identification,toxicity,and biodegradation in the ocean,freshwater,and soil,and the assessment and control of microplastics exposure. | Qinghui Sun Juan Li Chen Wang Anqi Chen Yanli You Shupeng Yang Huihui Liu Guibin Jiang Yongning Wu Yanshen Li | 2022 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,1: | 2 |

| 6 | Complete mitogenome of the Painted Jezebel,Delias hyparete Linnaeus(Lepidoptera:Pieridae)and its comparison with other butterfly species显示文摘In the present study,we report the first complete mitochondrial genome(mitogenome)of the Painted Jezebel,Delias hyparete.The mitogenome of Delias hyparete is 15186 bp in length,and has typical sets of 37 genes:13 protein-coding genes(PCGs),2 ribosomal RNAs,22 transfer RNAs and a non-coding A+T-rich region.All protein-coding genes are initiated by ATN codons,except for COI,which is tentatively designated by the CGA codon,as observed in other butterfly species.A total of 10 PCGs harbored the complete termination codon TAA or TAG,while the COI,COII and ND5 genes ended at a single T residue.All 22 tRNA genes show typical clover structures,with the exception of the tRNASer(AGN)which lacks the dihydrouridine(DHU)stem and is instead replaced by a simple loop.Thirteen intergenic spacers totaling 153 bp,and 13 overlapping regions totaling 46 bp are scattered throughout the whole genome.The 377 bp long of D.hyparete A+T-rich region is not comprised of large repetitive sequences,but harbors several features characteristic of the lepidopteran insects,including the motif ATAGA followed by an 18 bp poly-T stretch,a microsatellite-like(AT)5 element preceded by the ATTTA motif,an 10 bp polyA-like stretch(AAAAATAAAA)present immediately upstream tRNAMet. | Qinghui SHI Jing XIA Xiaoyan SUN Jiasheng HAO Qun YANG | 2012 | Zoological Research2012,33,S03: | 1 |

| 9 | Towards understanding twinning behavior near fracture surface in magnesium显示文摘Deformation twin is one of the most important strain accommodation mechanisms and ultimately influences the mechanical properties for magnesium and its alloys.Especially,{1011}twin is usually thought to be closely related to the fracture or fatigue process of magnesium alloys.In the present work,the characteristics of microstructure near fracture region of deformed magnesium alloy have been investigated by a combination of electron back-scatter diffraction(EBSD)and transmission electron microscope(TEM).It has found that a large of deformation twins occur near fraction region,including{1012}and{1011}primary twins,{1011}-{1012}double twin and{1011}-{1012}-{1011}-{1012}quadruple twin.The actual boundaries of{1011}twins at atomic scale consist of{1011}coherent twinning boundaries(TBs)and parallel basal-pyramidal(BPy/Py B)planes.The tip of{1011}twin can even end up with BPy/Py B interfaces only.The experimental observations also reveal that when two{1011}twin variants sharing a common[1120]zone axis approach each other,the growth of one twin is usually hindered by the boundaries of the other twin.In addition,an apparent'crossing'phenomenon is also discovered when interaction of two{1011}twins takes place.According to these experimental observations,the possible underlying mechanisms behind such phenomena are proposed and discussed.These finding are expected to provide an insight into understanding the twinning behavior and the relationship between twin and fracture in magnesium and other materials with hexagonal structure. | Hao Li Qinghui Zeng Pengfei Yang Qi Sun Jianmin Wang Jian Tu Minhao Zhu | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,36,8: | 0 |
| 10 | A novel lytic phage potentially effective for phage therapy against Burkholderia pseudomallei in the tropics显示文摘Background:Burkholderia pseudomallei is a tropical pathogen that causes melioidosis.Its intrinsic drug-resistance is a leading cause of treatment failure,and the few available antibiotics require prolonged use to be effective.This study aimed to assess the clinical potential of B.pseudomallei phages isolated from Hainan,China.Methods:Burkholderia pseudomallei strain(HNBPoo1)was used as the isolation host,and phages were recovered from domestic environmental sources,which were submitted to the host range determination,lytic property assays,and stability tests.The best candidate was examined via the transmission electron microscope for classification.With its genome sequenced and analyzed,its protective efficacy against B.pseudomallei infection in A549 cells and Caenorhabditis elegans was evaluated,in which cell viability and survival rates were compared using the one-way ANOVA method and the log-rank test.Results:A phage able to lyse 24/25 clinical isolates was recovered.It was classified in the Podoviridae family and was found to be amenable to propagation.Under the optimal multiplicity of infection(MOl)of o.1,an eclipse period of around 20 min and a high titer(io12 PFU/ml)produced within 1 h were demonstrated.This phage was found stabile at a wide range of temperatures(24,37,40,50,and 60 C)and pH values(3-12).After being designated as vB_BpP_HN01,it was fully sequenced,and the 71,398 bp linear genome,containing 93 open reading frames and a tRNA-Asn,displayed a low sequence similarity with known viruses.Additionally,protective effects of applications of vB_BpP_HNo1(MOl=0.1 and MOl=1)alone or in combination with antibiotics were found to improve viability of infected cells(70.6±6.8%,85.8±5.7%,91.9±1.8%,and 96.8±1.8%,respectively).A significantly reduced mortality(10%)and a decreased pathogen load were demonstrated in infected C.elegans following the addition of this phage.Conclusions:As the frst B.pseudomallei phage was isolated in Hainan,China,phage vB_BpP_HNO1 was characterized by promising lytic property,stability,and effciency of bacterial elimination during the in vitro/vivo experiments.Therefore,we can conclude that it is a potential alternative agent for combating melioidosis. | Yanshuang Wang Xuemiao Li David A.B.Dance Han Xia Chen Chen Nini Luo Anyang Li Yanmei Li Qiao Zhu Qinghui Sun Xingyong Wu Yingfei Zeng Lin Chen Shen Tian Qianfeng Xia | 2022 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2022,11,4: | 0 |
| 11 | A Search for Exoplanets in Open Clusters and Young Associations based on TESS Objects of Interest显示文摘We report the results of our search for planet candidates in open clusters and young stellar associations based on the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite(TESS) Objects of Interest Catalog.We find one confirmed planet,one promising candidate,one brown dwarf and three unverified planet candidates in a sample of 1229 open clusters from the second Gaia data release.We discuss individual planet-star systems based on their basic parameters,membership probability and the observation notes from the ExoFOP-TESS website.We also find ten planet candidates(P> 95%) in young stellar associations by using the BANYAN ∑ Multivariate Bayesian Algorithm.Among the ten candidates,five are known planetary systems.We estimate the rotation periods of the host stars using the TESS light curves and estimate their ages based on gyrochronology.Two candidates with periodic variations are likely to be young planets,but their exact memberships to young stellar associations remain unknown. | Qinghui Sun Sharon Xuesong Wang Tianjun Gan Andrew W.Mann | 2022 | Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2022,22,7: | 0 |
