1A series of naphthalimide azoles: Design, synthesis and bioactive evaluation as potential antimicrobial agents显示文摘A series of naphthalimide azoles as potential antibacterial and antifungal agents were conveniently and efficiently synthesized starting from commercially available 6-bromobenzo[de]isochromene-1,3-dione. All the new compounds were characterized by NMR, IR, MS and HRMS spectra. Their antimicrobial activities were evaluated against four Gram-positive bacteria, four Gram-negative bacteria and two fungi using two-fold serial dilution technique. The biological assay indicated that most of the prepared compounds exhibited inhibition to the tested strains. In particular, the triazolium derivatives not only gave higher efficacy than their corresponding precursory azoles, but also demonstrated comparable or even better potency than the reference drugs Chloromycin, Orbifloxacin and Fluconazole. Some factors including structural fragments, pH and ClogP values of the target molecules were also preliminarily discussed.DAMU Guri L. V. 2Temporal and spatial variations of stem CO_(2) efflux of three species in subtropical China显示文摘Aims Although stem CO_(2) efflux is critical to ecosystem carbon and energy balance and its feedback to future climate change,little information is available on stem CO_(2) efflux and its responses to temperature,especially in subtropical China.This study aims to(i)evaluate the temporal and spatial variations of stem CO_(2) efflux of three species,including oak(Quercus acutissima Carr.),masson pine(Pinus massoniana Lamb.)and loblolly pine(Pinus taeda Linn.)in subtropical China and(ii)analyze the temperature sensitivity of stem CO_(2) efflux in the three species based on 2-year field measurements.Methods We measured stem CO_(2) efflux and stem temperature(at 3 cm depth)of the three species using the horizontally oriented soil chamber technique from September 2008 to August 2010.We also conducted a 24-h measurement to examine the diurnal variation of stem CO_(2) efflux in three consecutive days in April 2009.Important findings The temporal dynamics of stem CO_(2) efflux followed the change of the stem temperature in a 3-cm depth with a bell-shaped curve in the three species.Stem temperature explained 77–85%of the seasonal variations of stem CO_(2) efflux over the entire study period in the three species.The temperature sensitivity(Q_(10))of stem CO_(2) efflux was obviously different among the three species with higher Q10 value found in oak(2.24)and lower values in the coniferous species(1.76 and 1.63).Our results also showed that the Q10 values of stem CO_(2) efflux in all the three species were lower in the growing season than that in the non-growing season,indicating that the growth and maintenance respiration had different temperature responses.Moreover,we found that the temperature-normalized stem CO_(2) efflux(R_(10))changed greatly between the growing and non-growing seasons in oak and masson pine,but not in loblolly pine.Additionally,we also found that in the non-growing season,the principal factor responsible for the spatial variation of stem CO_(2) efflux among the 15 sampling trees was sapwood volume,whereas in the growing season,stem CO_(2) efflux was closely related to annual dry-matter production in the three subtropical species.Qingpeng Yang Ming Xu Yonggang Chi Yunpu Zheng Ruichang Shen Peixue Li Huitang Dai 2012Journal of Plant Ecology2012,5,2:7
3Synthesis and biological activities of thio-triazole derivatives as novel potential antibacterial and antifungal agents显示文摘A series of novel thio-triazole derivatives including thiols, thioethers and thiones as well as some corresponding triazolium compounds were conveniently and efficiently synthesized from commercially available halobenzyl halides and thiosemicarbazide. All the new compounds were characterized by 1 H NMR, 13 C NMR, FTIR, MS and HRMS spectra. Their antibacterial and antifungal activities in vitro were evaluated against four Gram-positive bacteria, four Gram-negative bacteria and two fungi by two-fold serial dilution technique. The preliminary bioassay indicated that some prepared triazoles exhibited effective antibacterial and antifungal activities. 7Zeolite A synthesized from alkaline assisted pre-activated halloysite for efficient heavy metal removal in polluted river water and industrial wastewater显示文摘High quality zeolite A was synthesized through a hydrothermal process using alkalineassisted pre-activated halloysite mineral as the alumina and silica source. The synthesis conditions employed in this study were finely tuned by varying the activating temperature,sodium hydroxide content, water content and Si/Al ratio. The obtained zeolite A showed excellent adsorption properties for both single metal cation solutions and mixed cation solutions when the concentrations of the mixed cations were comparable with those in polluted natural river water and industrial wastewater. High adsorptive capacities for Ag^+(123.05 mg/g) and Pb^(2+)(227.70 mg/g) were achieved using the synthesized zeolite A. 8Isolated zinc in mordenite stabilizing carbonylation of dimethyl ether to methyl acetate显示文摘Herein, we prepared a series of H-Zn-mordenite (H-Zn-MOR) catalysts by adding zinc source into the initial sols during the synthesis of mordenite (MOR). The results indicated that isolated Zn ions were highly dispersed in the catalysts. The addition of zinc led to the increase of Si/Al in the framework of MOR,the change of the distribution of acid sites and the change of acid strength. We investigated the catalytic performance of the H-Zn-MOR catalysts and the HMOR catalysts for carbonylation of dimethyl ether to methyl acetate. 10Constructing public health evidence knowledge graph for decision-making support from COVID-19 literature of modelling study显示文摘The needs of mitigating COVID-19 epidemic prompt policymakers to make public health-related decision under the guidelines of science.Tremendous unstructured COVID-19 publications make it challenging for policymakers to obtain relevant evidence.Knowledge graphs(KGs)can formalize unstructured knowledge into structured form and have been used in supporting decision-making recently.Here,we introduce a novel framework that can ex-tract the COVID-19 public health evidence knowledge graph(CPHE-KG)from papers relating to a modelling study.We screen out a corpus of 3096 COVID-19 modelling study papers by performing a literature assessment process.We define a novel annotation schema to construct the COVID-19 modelling study-related IE dataset(CPHIE).We also propose a novel multi-tasks document-level information extraction model SS-DYGIE++based on the dataset.Leveraging the model on the new corpus,we construct CPHE-KG containing 60,967 entities and 51,140 rela-tions.Finally,we seek to apply our KG to support evidence querying and evidence mapping visualization.Our SS-DYGIE++(SpanBERT)model has achieved a F1 score of 0.77 and 0.55 respectively in document-level entity recognition and coreference resolution tasks.It has also shown high performance in the relation identification task.With evidence querying,our KG can present the dynamic transmissions of COVID-19 pandemic in different countries and regions.The evidence mapping of our KG can show the impacts of variable non-pharmacological interventions to COVID-19 pandemic.Analysis demonstrates the quality of our KG and shows that it has the potential to support COVID-19 policy making in public health.Yunrong Yang Zhidong Cao Pengfei Zhao Dajun Daniel Zeng Qingpeng Zhang Yin Luo 2021Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2021,2,3:2
