1Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome elements of male infertility revealed by latent tree model analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To explore the features of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) syndromes in male infertility using computer-based analyses.METHODS: Latent class analysis was used to analyze the TCM syndrome data from 813 patients with male infertility and establish a latent tree model.RESULTS: A latent tree model with a Bayesian information criterion score of-11 263 was created.This model revealed that the characteristics of basic TCM syndromes in patients with male infertility were kidney Yang deficiency, kidney Qi deficiency,spleen Yang deficiency, liver Qi stagnation, Qi stagnation and blood stasis, and dump-heat; moreover,most patients with male infertility had complex syndromes(spleen-kidney Yang deficiency and liver Qi stagnation) rather than simple single syndromes.CONCLUSION: The hidden tree model analysis revealed the objective and quantitative complex relationships between the TCM symptoms of male infertility, and obtained the quantification and objective evidence of TCM syndromes in male infertility.Zhang Zhijie Liu Shaoming Zhang Yueyang Yang Jingzhe Kong Tao Wang Chengli Ning Peng Chen Xiaochao Li Xuesong Jia Yusen Chen Xiaojun 2018Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2018,38,6:5
2Trends in Incidence Rates,Mortality Rates,and Age-Period-Cohort Effects of Cervical Cancer—China,2003–2017显示文摘Introduction:This study reported the trends and analyzed the age-period-cohort effects on the incidence and mortality rates of cervical cancer in China.Methods:The age-standardized incidence rate(ASIR)and mortality rate(ASMR)by Segi’s world standard population were calculated using qualified consecutive data from 22 cancer registries from 2003 to 2017 in China.We performed joinpoint analysis to describe the trends and age-period-cohort analysis to estimate the independent effects of age,period and cohort on trends in incidence and mortality rates of cervical cancer.Results:The ASIR and ASMR for cervical cancer in females over 20 years old increased during 2003−2017.For females<50 years,a decreasing trend in ASIR and a stable trend in ASMR were observed in urban areas after 2009.But the ASIR and ASMR kept increasing in rural areas during the whole period.For females>50 years,the ASIR and ASMR increased both in urban and rural areas.Age-period-cohort analysis showed increasing period effects on cervical cancer incidence and mortality during the whole period.The cohort effects exhibited a downward-upwarddownward pattern for the incidence(1918–1938,1938–1963,1963–1993)and mortality rates(1918–1943,1943–1963,1963–1993)in urban areas,a fluctuating pattern for incidence rate and a continuing downward pattern for mortality rate(1918–1993)in rural areas.Conclusions:The increases in cervical cancer incidence and mortality rates can be mostly explained by period effects.We observed decreases in risk for cervical cancer incidence and mortality in young female generations,which were more obvious in urban areas.Kexin Sun Rongshou Zheng Lin Lei Siwei Zhang Hongmei Zeng Shaoming Wang Li Li Ru Chen Bingfeng Han Ji Peng Wenqiang Wei Jie He 2022China CDC weekly2022,4,48:4
3Synergy methodology for multi-objective operational control of reservoirs in Yellow River basin显示文摘This paper presents an application of synergy methodology to a multi- objective operational control of reservoirs. This methodology enables a comprehensive consideration of multi-objectives which may be conflicting and non commensurate such as municipal and industrial water supply, flood protection, and hydroelectric power generation etc. On the basis of the synergy theory, a harmony degree model of sub- system was established to describe the coordination magnitude. Combined with information entropy, a harmony degree entropy was proposed to determine the water resources evolvement direction. While implementing the control, an initial scheme for reservoir operation was obtained from simulation first, then control was carried out according to the harmony degree and harmony degree entropy by applying synergy theory. 4陆地水循环要素对黄河流域及周边退耕还林的响应(英文)显示文摘退耕还林对水资源的影响复杂且尚存在争议,鉴于此本文基于WRF模式对黄河流域及周边的退耕还林进行了模拟研究,结果表明研究区域的陆地水循环要素对土地利用/覆盖变化较为敏感。在耕地转变为混交林的情况下,黄河流域面平均降水量在2006–2010年间增多223.17 mm,蒸发增加223.88 mm,而产流减少2.22 mm。随着时间增长,植被变化对水资源的影响逐渐增强。对于降水明显偏多和偏少的年份,同一植被变化对水循环要素影响的空间分布不同。LV Meixia MA Zhuguo PENG Shaoming 2019Atmospheric and Oceanic Science Letters2019,12,2:3
5National Cancer Data Linkage Platform of China:Design,Methods,and Application显示文摘Background:The National Cancer Center(NCC)and China CDC cooperatively designed a National Cancer Data Linkage(NCDL)Platform to fulfill the task of sharing cancer outcome data through an automatic web-based system.Methods:NCC and China CDC established a web-based NCDL Platform to link death information from China CDC with the cancer database from NCC.Overall,76,708 cancer patients’data were analyzed to assess the feasibility and match rate of the NCDL Platform for 7 major cancers.Results:The function of the platform includes a data application and approval system,data linkage module,and results visualization system.Through the platform,38.9%cases were identified as deaths cases from the NCDL Platform in the first 3 years after cancer diagnosis.The linkage rate was highest in liver cancer and lowest in breast cancer.Conclusions:The NCDL Platform provides a powerful and efficient way to link national vital statistics with national cancer programs’data.Expanding cancer outcome data linkage may not only improve data collection efficiency,but also improve data use.Hongmei Zeng Yunning Liu Lijun Wang Peng Yin Baohua Wang Ruiying Fu Xianhui Ran Rongshou Zheng Siwei Zhang Jiangmei Liu Jinling You Kexin Sun Shaoming Wang Li Li Ru Chen Wenqiang Wei Maigeng Zhou Jing Wu Jie He 2022China CDC weekly2022,4,13:1

8Trends in Incidence Rates,Mortality Rates,and Age-Period-Cohort Effects of Female Breast Cancer—China,2003-2017显示文摘Introduction:This study reported the trends in female breast cancer incidence and mortality rates in China,and analyzed the corresponding age-periodcohort effects.Methods:Data from 22 population-based cancer registries in China between 2003 and 2017 were analyzed.Age-standardized incidence rates(ASIR)and mortality rates(ASMR)were calculated using Segi’s world standard population.Joinpoint regression was employed to evaluate trends,and age-period-cohort effects were examined using the intrinsic estimator method.Results:The ASIR for female breast cancer exhibited a more rapid increase in rural areas compared to urban areas across all age groups.The most substantial increase was observed in the 20-34 age group in rural areas[annual percent change(APC)=9.0%,95%confidence interval(CI):7.0%-11.0%,P<0.001].The ASMR for females under 50 years old remained stable from 2003 to 2017 in both urban and rural areas.However,the ASMR for females over 50 in rural areas and those over 65 in urban areas demonstrated a significant increase,with the most pronounced increase observed among females over 65 in rural areas(APC=4.9%,95%CI:2.8%-7.0%,P<0.001).Age-period-cohort analysis revealed increasing period effects and decreasing cohort effects for female breast cancer incidence and mortality rates in both urban and rural settings.Notably,the cohort effect for incidence displayed a slight upward trend for females born between 1983 and 1992 in rural areas.Conclusions:Our study revealed a rapid increase in breast cancer incidence among younger generations and an accelerated mortality rate in older populations residing in rural areas.To effectively address the growing burden of female breast cancer in China,it is essential to develop and implement targeted intervention strategies.Kexin Sun Lin Lei Rongshou Zheng Siwei Zhang Hongmei Zeng Shaoming Wang Li Li Ru Chen Bingfeng Han Ji Peng Wenqiang Wei Jie He 2023China CDC weekly2023,5,15:1
