13Optimum Transmitter Power Control in WCDMA Cellular Systems显示文摘Power control is an important technique in WCDMA mobile systems for both increasing system capacity and guaranteeing the required QoS (time delay and wireless link transmission quality) of multimedia services. The optimum power control for narrow band CDMA cellular systems is a problem of single threshold optimization. Because these systems have only one type of traffic and have the same QoS requirement. However, WCDMA mobile systems should provide multimedia services and different types of traffic have different QoS requirements. Thus, the power control in WCDMA mobile systems doesn’t be a problem of single threshold optimizing, but turns into the optimizing problem of multi-thresholds. In this paper, we analyze the power control problem in WCDMA cellular mobile systems and propose the optimum transmitter power control algorithm. Three criteria to optimize transmitter power levels of multi-thresholds based on grading the priority orders of multimedia services are proposed. 14ITERATIVE 'ONE-SHOT' DECORRELATION IN DS-CDMA SYSTEMS显示文摘In this paper, an iterative 'one-shot' decorrelator for asynchronous code Division Multiple Access(CDMA) systems is proposed. This decorrelator feedbacks the decorrelated syrnbols of interfering users before decision to mitigate their interferences. As a result, this decorrelator is a linear detector and does not need any amplitude information of users as in decisionfeedback detectors. Compared with existing 'one-shot' decorrelator, it has reduced complexity and provided better performance while eliminating all Multiple Access Interference(MAI). The performance of this decorrelator is analyzed thoeritically, and analytical result is given. 16A MULTIPLE-RECEPTION ACCESS PROTOCOL WITH INTERRUPTIONS WITH MIXED PRIORITIES IN CDMA NETWORKS显示文摘A novel access protocol called Multiple-Reception Access Protocol (MRAP) and its modification MRAP/WI are proposed. In this protocol, all colliding users with a common code can be identified by the base station due to the offset of arrival time Thus they can retransmit access requests under the base station's control. Furthermore new arrivals with higher priority level can interrupt the lower retransmission in order to reduce its access delay although it increases the lower priority's delay. 17FORWARD LINK PARTIAL-BALANCE POWER CONTROL ALGORITHM FOR W-CDMA COMMUNICATION显示文摘Balance power control is based on the idea of balancing Carrier to Interference Ratio (CIR) of all wireless links. Unbalance power control means that different traffics can achieve different CIR at receivers. This paper proposes a forward link partial-balance power control algorithm, which can provide necessary Quality of Service (QoS) for multimedia traffics in Wideband CDMA(W-CDMA) systems. The proposed algorithm is the integration of grading traffics priority and allocating and adjusting forward link power levels. For higher priority traffics, the unbalance power control is used. Whereas for lower priority traffics, balance power control is adopted. Computer simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can guarantee the special QoS requirements of the traffics with higher priority orders and maximize the CIR of the traffics with lower priority orders.Qiu Ling Zhang Lei Zhu Jinkang (PCN&SS Lab.
