| 1 | Association of p53/p21 expression with cigarette smoking and prognosis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma patients显示文摘factors,such as cigarette smoking,in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)in northeastern Iran,a region with a high incidence of ESCC.METHODS:The expression of p53 and p21 proteins was investigated immunohistochemically in tumor tissue from 80 ESCC patients and in 60 available paraffinembedded blocks of adjacent normal specimens from the cases,along with normal esophageal tissue from 80 healthy subjects.RESULTS:Positive expression of p53 protein was detected in 56.2%(45/80)of ESCC cases,and in none of the normal esophageal tissue of the control group(P<0.001).Furthermore,73.8%(59/80)of ESCC cases and 43.8%(35/80)of controls had positive expression of p21 protein(P<0.001).Cigarette smoking was significantly associated with p53 over-expression in ESCC cases(P=0.010,OR=3.64;95%CI:1.32-10.02).p21 over-expression was associated with poorer clinical outcome among the ESCC patients(P=0.009).CONCLUSION:Over-expression of p53 in association with cigarette smoking may play a critical role in ESCC carcinogenesis among this high-risk population of northeastern Iran.Furthermore,p21 over-expression was found to be associated with poor prognosis,specifically in the operable ESCC patients. | Noushin Taghavi Firouzeh Biramijamal Masoud Sotoudeh Omeed Moaven Hooman Khademi Mohammad Reza Abbaszadegan Reza Malekzadeh | 2010 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2010，16，39： | 10 |
| 2 | Service-Oriented Wireless Multimedia Multicasting with Partial Frequency Reuse显示文摘Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA) is employed in a wide range of applications because it promises to expose computation-intensive tasks as services and combine them with new applications to accelerate their applications development process. For service-oriented multimedia applications, the performance of multicasting transmission services under multimedia traffic must be evaluated. Multiview Video(MVV) is a promising and emerging type of multimedia traffic that consists of multiple video streams, allows stream switching, and requires strict Quality-of-Service(Qo S). In this study, we investigated multicast transmission of MVV in wireless cellular networks with Partial Frequency Reuse(PFR) and focused on two challenging problems:(1) multicast group formation and(2) subchannel and power allocation. Initially, we propose a novel Content-based Partial frequency reuse Diversity Grouping(CPDG) scheme to allocate users to multicast groups on the basis of Partial frequency reuse Diversity(PD) in wireless networks with PFR. After group formation, an optimization problem for subchannel and power allocation is formulated to minimize network power consumption under Qo S constraint. Thereafter,the optimization problem is divided into two subproblems and solved using simplex method and Karush-KuhnTucker(KKT) condition. Finally, to solve the optimization problem, a suboptimal scheme referred to as Partial frequency reuse Diversity Based Energy-efficient Multicasting(PDEM) is proposed by dynamically allocating wireless resources under Qo S constraint. The simulation results show that the proposed PDEM scheme can achieve close-to-optimal performance. | 14 | Development and validation of a sensitive HPLC method for the determination of lisinopril in human plasma after derivatization with 4-fluoro-7-nitro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole显示文摘In this study, we developed a simple and sensitive HPLC method for the determination of lisinopril in human plasma. The sample clean-up was carried out by solid-phase extraction(SPE) using a cation-exchange(Strata-SCX~?) extraction cartridge. After a pre-column derivatization with 4-fluoro-7-nitro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole, the reaction mixture was analyzed on an Agilent Zorbax SB~?-C_(18)(150 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm). The flow rate was set at 1.0 mL/min. Fluorescence detection was performed at an excitation wavelength of 470 nm and an emission wavelength of 530 nm. The mobile phase consisted of a mixture of methanol and 0.02 M sodium dihydrogen phosphate(pH = 3.0, 60:40, v/v). The average extraction recovery of lisinopril and fluvoxamine(internal standard) was >85%. The method exhibited a linear calibration curve over the concentration range of 1–1000 ng/mL with a correlation coefficient(r^2) of ≥0.98 and a limit of quantification(LOQ) equal to 2 ng/mL.
