| 2 | Metasurface-based multi-harmonic freeelectron light source显示文摘Metasurfaces are subwavelength spatial variations in geometry and material where the structures are of negligible thickness compared to the wavelength of light and are optimized for far-field applications,such as controlling the wavefronts of electromagnetic waves.Here,we investigate the potential of the metasurface near-field profile,generated by an incident few-cycle pulse laser,to facilitate the generation of high-frequency light from free electrons.In particular,the metasurface near-field contains higher-order spatial harmonics that can be leveraged to generate multiple higher-harmonic X-ray frequency peaks.We show that the X-ray spectral profile can be arbitrarily shaped by controlling the metasurface geometry,the electron energy,and the incidence angle of the laser input.Using ab initio simulations,we predict bright and monoenergetic X-rays,achieving energies of 30 keV(with harmonics spaced by 3 keV)from 5-MeV electrons using 3.4-eV plasmon polaritons on a metasurface with a period of 85 nm.As an example,we present the design of a four-color X-ray source,a potential candidate for tabletop multicolor hard X-ray spectroscopy.Our developments could help pave the way for compact multi-harmonic sources of high-energy photons,which have potential applications in industry,medicine,and the fundamental sciences. | Gilles Rosolen Liang Jie Wong Nicholas Rivera Bjorn Maes Marin Soljačić Ido Kaminer | 2018 | Light(Science & Applications)2018，7，1： | 2 |

| 5 | The effectiveness of a 17-week lifestyle intervention on health behaviors among airline pilots during COVID-19显示文摘Purpose:The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of a 17-week,3-component lifestyle intervention for enhancing health behaviors during the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic.Methods:A parallel-group(intervention and control)study was conducted amongst 79 airline pilots over a 17-week period during the COVID-19 pandemic.The intervention group(n=38)received a personalized sleep,dietary,and physical activity(PA)program.The control group(n=41)received no intervention.Outcome measures for sleep,fruit and vegetable intake,PA,and subjective health were measured though an online survey before and after the 17-week period.The changes in outcome measures were used to determine the efficacy of the intervention.Results:Significant main effects for time￡group were found for International Physical Activity Questionnaire-walk(p=0.02)and for all other outcome measures(p<0.01).The intervention group significantly improved in sleep duration(p<0.01;d=1.35),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index score(p<0.01;d=1.14),moderate-to-vigorous PA(p<0.01;d=1.44),fruit and vegetable intake(p<0.01;d=2.09),Short Form 12v2 physical score(p<0.01;d=1.52),and Short Form 12v2 mental score(p<0.01;d=2.09).The control group showed significant negative change for sleep duration,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index score,and Short Form 12v2 mental score(p<0.01).Conclusion:Results provide preliminary evidence that a 3-component healthy sleep,eating,and PA intervention elicit improvements in health behaviors and perceived subjective health in pilots and may improve quality of life during an unprecedented global pandemic. | Daniel Wilson Matthew Driller Ben Johnston Nicholas Gill | 2021 | Journal of Sport and Health Science2021，10，3： | 1 |

| 16 | Helicobacter pylori serology in a birth cohort of New Zealanders from age 11 to 26显示文摘AIM: To determine seroprevalence of Helicobacter pylori (Hpylori) in the Dunedin Multidisciplinary Health and Development Study (DMHDS) at age 26 in order to investigate seroconversion and seroreversion from age 11 to 26 and the association of seropositivity with risk factors for Hpylori infection.METHODS: Participants in the DMHDS at age 26 and retrospectively at age 21 were tested for H pylori antibodies using two commercially available ELISA kits. Gender, socioeconomic status (SES), smoking, educational attainment and employment at age 26 were tested for association with H pylori seropositivity.RESULTS: At ages 21 and 26, seroprevalence of Hpylori using one or other kit was 4.2% (n = 795) and 6.3% (n = 871) respectively. Seroreversion rate was lower than seroconversion rate (0.11% vs0.53% per person-year) in contrast to the period from age 11 to 21 when seroreversion rate exceeded seroconversion rate (0.35% vs 0.11% perperson-year). Serology in those tested at ages 11, 21,and 26 remained unchanged in 93.6% of the sample.Seroprevalence at age 26 was lower among those with a secondary school qualification (P = 0.042) but was not associated with gender, SES, smoking or employment status.CONCLUSION: Hpylodseroprevalence in a New Zealand birth cohort remains low between ages 11 and 26.
