2Amino-functionalized Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) with anti-corrosive/wear function for waterborne epoxy coating显示文摘Two-dimensional Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) flakes have great application potential in various areas due to their optical,electronic,electrochemical and mechanical properties,but their anti-corrosion and wear-resistance performance were not well understood.The difficulties in achieving good dispersity and interface interaction of inorganic additives in organic coatings hinder the incorporation of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) into the epoxy coating.Here,few-layered Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) sheets with amino-functionalization were prepared,and as reinforced-additives were added into the waterborne epoxy coating.Anti-corrosion and tribological properties of as-prepared composite coatings were investigated in detail.The results reveal that the composite coating with 0.5 wt.%amino-functionalized Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) sheets shows excellent corrosion protection(the lowest frequency impedance was 3.12×10^(9) cm^(2))and wear resistance(wear rate was reduced by 72.74%).The greatly improving performance of composite coatings mainly depends on:(a)good dispersity and compatibility of amino-functionalized Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) in organic matrix,(b)high adhesion strength between coating and metal substrate and(c)the intrinsic properties of Ti3C2Tx sheets.The work provides a good path for applications of MXene as multifunctional additives.Han Yan Meng Cai Wen Li Xiaoqiang Fan Minhao Zhu 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,54,19:7
3Molecular architecture of the luminal ring of the Xenopus laevis nuclear pore complex显示文摘The nuclear pore complex(NPC)mediates the flow of substances between the nucleus and cytoplasm in eukaryotic cells.Here we report the cryo-electron tomography(cryo-ET)structure of the luminal ring(LR)of the NPC from Xenopus laevis oocyte.The observed key structural features of the LR are independently confirmed by single-particle cryo-electron microscopy(cryo-EM)analysis.The LR comprises eight butterfly-shaped subunits,each containing two symmetric wings.Each wing consists of four elongated,tubular protomers.Within the LR subunit,the eight protomers form a Finger domain,which directly contacts the fusion between the inner and outer nuclear membranes and a Grid domain,which serves as a rigid base for the Finger domain.Two neighboring LR subunits interact with each other through the lateral edges of their wings to constitute a Bumper domain,which displays two major conformations and appears to cushion neighboring NPCs.Our study reveals previously unknown features of the LR and potentially explains the elastic property of the NPC.Yanqing Zhang Sai Li Chao Zeng Gaoxingyu Huang Xuechen Zhu Qifan Wang Kunpeng Wang Qiang Zhou Chuangye Yan Wusheng Zhang Guangwen Yang Minhao Liu Qinghua Tao Jianlin Lei Yigong Shi 2020Cell Research2020,30,6:4
4Heterostructured ZnFe_2O_4/Fe_2TiO_5/TiO_2 Composite Nanotube Arrays with an Improved Photocatalysis Degradation Efficiency Under Simulated Sunlight Irradiation显示文摘To improve the visible light absorption and photocatalytic activity of titanium dioxide nanotube arrays(TONTAs), ZnFe_2O_4(ZFO) nanocrystals were perfused into pristine TONTA pipelines using a novel bias voltageassisted perfusion method. ZFO nanocrystals were well anchored on the inner walls of the pristine TONTAs when the ZFO suspensions(0.025 mg m L^(-1)) were kept under a60 V bias voltage for 1 h. After annealing at 750 °C for2 h, the heterostructured ZFO/Fe_2 TiO_5(FTO)/TiO_2 composite nanotube arrays were successfully obtained. Furthermore, Fe^(3+)was reduced to Fe^(2+)when solid solution reactions occurred at the interface of ZFO and the pristine TONTAs. Introducing ZFO significantly enhanced thevisible light absorption of the ZFO/FTO/TONTAs relative to that of the annealed TONTAs. 5Structure of the cytoplasmic ring of the Xenopus laevis nuclear pore complex by cryo-electron microscopy single particle analysis显示文摘The nuclear pore complex(NPC)exhibits structural plasticity and has only been characterized at local resolutions of up to 15 A for the cytoplasmic ring(CR).Here we present a single-particle cryo-electron microscopy(cryo-EM)structure of the CR from Xenopus laevis NPC at average resolutions of 5.5-7.9A,with local resolutions reaching 4.5 A.Improved resolutions allow identification and placement of secondary structural elements in the majority of the CR components.The two Y complexes in each CR subunit interact with each other and associate with those from flanking subunits,forming a circular scaffold.Within each CR subunit,the Nup358-containing region wraps around the stems of both Y complexes,likely stabilizing the scaffold.Nup205 connects the short arms of the two Y complexes and associates with the stem of a neighboring Y complex.The Nup214-containing region uses an extended coiled-coil to link Nup85 of the two Y complexes and protrudes into the axial pore of the NPC.These previously uncharacterized structural features reveal insights into NPC assembly.Gaoxingyu Huang Yanqing Zhang Xuechen Zhu Chao Zeng Qifan Wang Qiang Zhou Qinghua Tao Minhao Liu Jianlin Lei Chuangye Yan Yigong Shi 2020Cell Research2020,30,6:2
6Cryo-EM structure of the inner ring from the Xenopus laevis nuclear pore complex显示文摘Nuclear pore complex(NPC)mediates nucleocytoplasmic shuttling.Here we present single-particle cryo-electron microscopy structure of the inner ring(IR)subunit from the Xenopus laevis NPC at an average resolution of 4.2Å.A homo-dimer of Nup205 resides at the center of the IR subunit,flanked by two molecules of Nup188.Four molecules of Nup93 each places an extended helix into the axial groove of Nup205 or Nup188,together constituting the central scaffold.The channel nucleoporin hetero-trimer of Nup62/58/54 is anchored on the central scaffold.Six Nup155 molecules interact with the central scaffold and together with the NDC1–ALADIN hetero-dimers anchor the IR subunit to the nuclear envelope and to outer rings.The scarce inter-subunit contacts may allow sufficient latitude in conformation and diameter of the IR.Our structure reveals the molecular basis for the IR subunit assembly of a vertebrate NPC.Gaoxingyu Huang Xiechao Zhan Chao Zeng Ke Liang Xuechen Zhu Yanyu Zhao Pan Wang Qifan Wang Qiang Zhou Qinghua Tao Minhao Liu Jianlin Lei Chuangye Yan Yigong Shi 2022Cell Research2022,32,5:1
7Hierarchical Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2) heterostructures:A first principles calculation and application in corrosion/wear protection显示文摘Surface and interface engineering plays a crucial role in modulating the properties of materials,especially two-dimensional(2D)materials.Hence,a strategy,forming heterostructures with MoS_(2),is proposed to overcome the natural agglomeration of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene nanosheets.Most importantly,the interactions between Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx and MoS_(2) were elaborately investigated by first-principles calculations based on density functional theory(DFT)for the first time.The calculations demonstrate that van der Waals forces dominate the interface interactions of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and MoS_(2),rendering Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2) heterostructures favorable stability.The Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2) heterostructure composites were synthesized through a facile one-step hydrothermal method and exhibit a 2D hierarchical structure.Furthermore,the corrosion and tribological properties of epoxy composite coatings with varying proportions of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2) composites were studied in detail.As a result,the epoxy composite coating with 0.1 wt.%Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2) composites(Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2)-0.1)exhibits excellent corrosion protection and antiwear performances.The Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@MoS_(2)-0.1 keeps the largest low-frequency impedance modulus(|Z|_(0.)01 Hz)and coating resistance(R_(c))during the whole immersion period.Its wear rate is 0.09μm^(3)/(Nμm)under the load of 10 N,one half of that of pure epoxy coating(EP).This work further broadens the application of MXene-based heterostructure composites.Meng Cai Peng Feng Han Yan Yuting Li Shijie Song Wen Li Hao Li Xiaoqiang Fan Minhao Zhu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,21:1
8Insights into the tribological behavior of choline chloride-urea and choline chloride-thiourea deep eutectic solvents显示文摘Deep eutectic solvents(DESs)have been considered as novel and economic alternatives to traditional lubricants because of their similar physicochemical performance.In this study,choline chloride(ChCl)DESs were successfully synthesized via hydrogen-bonding networks of urea and thiourea as the hydrogen bond donors(HBDs).The as-synthesized ChCl-urea and ChCl-thiourea DESs had excellent thermal stability and displayed good lubrication between steel/steel tribo-pairs.The friction coefficient and wear rate of ChCl-thiourea DES were 50.1%and 80.6%,respectively,lower than those of ChCl-urea DES for GCr15/45 steel tribo-pairs.However,for GCr15/Q45 steel,ChCl-urea DES decreased the wear rate by 85.0%in comparison to ChCl-thiourea DES.Under ChCl-thiourea DES lubrication,the tribo-chemical reaction film composed of FeS formed at the interfaces and contributed to low friction and wear.However,under high von Mises stress,the film could not be stably retained and serious wear was obtained through direct contact of friction pairs.This illustrated that the evolution of the tribo-chemical reaction film was responsible for the anti-friction and anti-wearproperties of the DESs.Yuting LI Yuan LI Hao LI Xiaoqiang FAN Han YAN Meng CAI Xiaojun XU Minhao ZHU 2023Friction2023,11,1:0
9Development of a radiolabeled site-specific single-domain antibody positron emission tomography probe for monitoring PD-L1 expression in cancer显示文摘Despite advances in immunotherapy for the treatment of cancers,not all patients can benefit from programmed cell death ligand 1(PD-L1)immune checkpoint blockade therapy.Anti-PD-L1 therapeutic effects reportedly correlate with the PD-L1 expression level;hence,accurate detection of PD-L1 expression can guide immunotherapy to achieve better therapeutic effects.Therefore,based on the high affinity antibody Nb109,a new site-specifically radiolabeled tracer,^(68)Ga-NODA-cysteine,aspartic acid,and valine(CDV)-Nb109,was designed and synthesized to accurately monitor PD-L1 expression.The tracer ^(68)Ga-NODA-CDV-Nb109 was obtained using a site-specific conjugation strategy with a radiochemical yield of about 95%and radiochemical purity of 97%.It showed high affinity for PD-L1 with a dissociation constant of 12.34±1.65 nM.Both the cell uptake assay and positron emission tomography(PET)imaging revealed higher tracer uptake in PD-L1-positive A375-hPD-L1 and U87 tumor cells than in PD-L1-negative A375 tumor cells.Meanwhile,dynamic PET imaging of a NCI-H1299 xenograft indicated that doxorubicin could upregulate PD-L1 expression,allowing timely interventional immunotherapy.In conclusion,this tracer could sensitively and dynamically monitor changes in PD-L1 expression levels in different cancers and help screen patients who can benefit from anti-PD-L1 immunotherapy.Yinfei Chen Shiyu Zhu Jiayu Fu Jianguo Lin Yan Sun Gaochao Lv Minhao Xie Tao Xu Ling Qiu 2022Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2022,12,6:0
10Magnetic field-induced non-linear transport in HfTe5显示文摘The interplay of electron correlations and topological phases gives rise to various exotic phenomena including fractionalization,excitonic instability and axionic excitation.Recently discovered transition-metal pentatellurides can reach the ultra-quantum limit in low magnetic fields and serve as good candidates for achieving such a combination.Here,we report evidence of density wave and metal-insulator transition in HfTe5 induced by intense magnetic fields.Using the non-linear transport technique,we detect a distinct non-linear conduction behavior in the longitudinal resistivity within the a–c plane,corresponding to the formation of a density wave induced by magnetic fields.In high fields,the onset of non-linear conduction in the Hall resistivity indicates an impurity-pinned magnetic freeze-out as the possible origin of the insulating behavior.These frozen electrons can be gradually reactivated into mobile states above a threshold of electric field.This experimental evidence calls for further investigation into the underlying mechanism of the bulk quantum Hall effect and field-induced phase transitions in pentatellurides.Cheng Zhang Jinshan Yang Zhongbo Yan Xiang Yuan Yanwen Liu Minhao Zhao Alexey Suslov Jinglei Zhang Li Pi Zhong Wang Faxian Xiu 2022National Science Review2022,9,10:0
