1Evaluation of the SMOS and SMAP soil moisture products under different vegetation types against two sparse in situ networks over arid mountainous watersheds, Northwest China显示文摘Assessment of the suitability of satellite soil moisture products at large scales is urgently needed for numerous climatic and hydrological researches, particularly in arid mountainous watersheds where soil moisture plays a key role in landatmosphere exchanges. This study presents evaluation of the SMOS(L2) and SMAP(L2_P_E and L2_P) products against ground-based observations from the Upstream of the Heihe River Watershed in situ Soil Moisture Network(UHRWSMN) and the Ecological and Hydrological Wireless Sensor Network(EHWSN) over arid high mountainous watersheds, Northwest China.Results show that all the three products are reliable in catching the temporal trend of the in situ observations at both point and watershed scales in the study area. Due to the uncertainty in brightness temperature and the underestimation of effective temperature, the SMOS L2 product and both the SMAP L2 products show 'dry bias' in the high, cold mountainous area. Because of the more accurate brightness temperature observations viewing at a constant angle and more suitable estimations of single scattering albedo and optical depth, both the SMAP L2 products performed significantly better than the SMOS product.Moreover, comparing with station density of in situ network, station representation is much more important in the evaluation of the satellite soil moisture products. Based on our analysis, we propose the following suggestions for improvement of the SMOS and SMAP product suitability in the mountainous areas: further optimization of effective temperature; revision of the retrieval algorithm of the SMOS mission to reduce the topographic impacts; and, careful selection of in situ observation stations for better representation of in situ network in future evaluations. 2A MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR RESERVOIR SEDIMENTATION AND FLUVIAL PROCESSES显示文摘This paper consists of two parts: mechanism of non-equilibrium transport of non-uniform sediment and its application in the mathematical model. Based on a statistic approach of sediment transport proposed by the authors, a 1 - D equation of non-e- quilibrium transport for various size group of sediment particles is developed. Then equations to predict change of sediment concentration and the corresponding changes in size distribution of suspended load and bed material are also derived. The conception that changes in size distribution are interrelated to sediment-carrying capacity is expounded. These results reveal the essence of sediment transport of non-uniform sediment particles. In the second part a mathematical model incorporating the mentioned equations to compute deposition and scouring in reservoirs as well as the fluvial processes of river channels has been developed. 3Preparation and application of iron oxide/persimmon tannin/graphene oxide nanocomposites for efficient adsorption of erbium from aqueous solution显示文摘Rare earth elements(REEs)are used for the developme nt of new energy materials owing to their intrinsic physicochemical property.However,excess REEs in water threaten the safety of animals,plants and humans.An efficient way to separate REEs from the water is therefore needed.In this study,a biosorbent consisting of iron oxide(Fe3 O4),persimmon tannin(PT),and graphene oxide(GO)as Fe3 O4/PT/GO was prepared,and the adsorption of trivalent erbium(Er3+)ions from aqueous solution was investigated.The adsorption process for Er3+ions conforms to pseudo-second order kinetic and the Langmuir isotherm model behavior.Thermodynamic studies indicate that the adsorption process is spontaneous and endothermic.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),X-ray diffraction(XRD),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).Fourier-transform infrared(FT-IR)spectroscopy;Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)analysis,and vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM)were used to assess the adsorption mechanism of Er3+ions onto the Fe3 O4/PT/GO biosorbent.A combination of electrostatic interactions,redox reactivity and chelation are responsible for adsorption of Er3+ions on the Fe3 O4/PT/GO biosorbent,The magnetic Fe3 O4/PT/GO biosorbent can be easily separated under the magnetic field for effective recycle of Er3+ions from aqueous solution.Therefore,this new biomass composite holds great promise for wastewater treatment.Lin Gao Zhongmin Wang Chaoke Qin Zhenming Chen Mingmin Gao Na He Xi Qian Zhide Zhou Guiyin Li 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,12:3
4The influence of Laval nozzle throat size on supersonic molecular beam injection显示文摘In this study, finite element analysis(FEA) has been used to investigate the effects of different Laval nozzle throat sizes on supersonic molecular beam. The simulations indicate the Mach numbers of the molecular stream peak at different positions along the center axis of the beam, which correspond to local minimums of the molecular densities. With the increase of the throat diameter, the first peak of the Mach number increases first and then decreases, while that of the molecular number density increases gradually. Moreover, both first peaks shift progressively away from the throat. 5Inhibition Effect and Synergistic Effect of Prochloraz and Tebuconazole and Their Mixture on Fusarium graminearum显示文摘Wheat scab caused by Fusarium graminearum is increasingly severe in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River region. With long-term use of single chemical pesticide,the drug resistance of F. graminearum is growing day by day. In order to reveal the inhibition effect and synergistic effect of prochloraz and tebuconazole and their mixture on F. graminearum,new compound agents for controlling wheat scab were developed. The inhibition effect and synergistic effect of prochloraz and tebuconazole mixed at seven different ratios on F. graminearum were studied. The results showed that the efficiency of the mixture was the best when the proportion of prochloraz and tebuconazole was 1:7; the EC50 was 0.145 36 and the synergistic coefficient was 1.853 9.
