1Clinical effect of traditional Chinese spinal orthopedic manipulation in treatment of chondromalacia patellae显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical effect of traditional Chinese spinal orthopedic manipulation(TCSOM) in treating chondromalacia patellae(CP).METHODS: Sixty cases of CP patients were randomly assigned to a TCSOM group and a Celecoxib group according to the random number table method. All patients in the TCSOM group were treated with a maximum of 10 spinal manipulations and rehabilitation training of quadriceps femoris. The symptoms before and after treatment were assessed with visual analog scale(VAS) and Kujala functional knee scoring system(KFKSS). A symptom improvement rate(SIR) was implemented in order to evaluate the effects of the treatments.RESULTS: The symptoms of 16 patients in the TC-SOM group quickly resolved after the first spinal manipulation and 8 cases were significantly improved. The VAS scores in the TCSOM group after 4weeks of treatment were significantly lower than those in the Celecoxib group. The KFKSS scores in the TCSOM group after 4 weeks of treatment were significantly higher than those in the Celecoxib group. Side effects of the treatment were not reported. 2Trends of Overweight and Obesity in Yi People between 1996 and 2007:An Yi Migrant Study显示文摘Objective To evaluate trends of overweight and obesity prevalence between 1996 and 2007 in Yi farmers and Yi migrants.Methods An Yi migrant study was conducted in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture,Sichuan Province,China from 1996 to 2007.Data were collected with identical methods,including standardized questionnaire and body measurements.Results Age‐ and sex‐specific body mass index (BMI) significantly increased from 20.02 in 1996 to 22.36 in 2007,among Yi farmers,which was significantly different from those among Yi migrants (23.67 in 2007 and 20.90 in 1996) (P<0.05).Prevalence of obesity rose from 1.21 % in 1996 to 4.55 % in 2007 (OR=1.15,P<0.001) in Yi migrants,while that in Yi farmers from none in 1996 to 0.12 % in 2007 (P>0.05).Prevalence of overweight rose significantly to 26.24 %in 2007 from 17.24 % in 1996 (OR=1.06,P<0.001) in Yi migrants,while that in Yi farmers from 1.29 % in 1996 to 4.45 % in 2007 (OR=1.14,P<0.001).Yi migrants appeared to have a 5.52‐fold higher risk ondeveloping overweight and obesity than Yi farmers have.Conclusion The Yi migrants had a steeper increase of overweight with year and consequently caused more obesity.Change in lifestyle may contribute most likely to higher prevalence of overweight and obesity in Yi migrants.SHAN GuangLiang WEI DaYing WANG ChunXiu ZHANG JianHua Wang Bin MA MingJu PAN Li YU Tao XUE Fang WU ZhengLai 2011Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,5:9
3Shape-free finite element method:The plane hybrid stress-function (HS-F) element method for anisotropic materials显示文摘The sensitivity problem to mesh distortion and the low accuracy problem of the stress solutions are two inherent difficulties in the finite element method.By applying the fundamental analytical solutions (in global Cartesian coordinates) to the Airy stress function of the anisotropic materials,8-and 12-node plane quadrilateral hybrid stress-function (HS-F) elements are successfully developed based on the principle of the minimum complementary energy.Numerical results show that the present new elements exhibit much better and more robust performance in both displacement and stress solutions than those obtained from other models.They can still perform very well even when the element shapes degenerate into a triangle and a concave quadrangle.It is also demonstrated that the proposed construction procedure is an effective way for developing shape-free finite element models which can completely overcome the sensitivity problem to mesh distortion and can produce highly accurate stress solutions.CEN Song FU XiangRong ZHOU GuoHua ZHOU MingJue LI ChenFeng 2011Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,4:7
4Some Classes of Disconnected Antimagic Graphs and Their Joins显示文摘A labeling of a graph G is a bijection from E(G) to the set {1,2,…,|E (G)| }.A labeling is antimagic if for any distinct vertices x and y,the sum of the labels on edges incident to x is different from the sum of the labels on edges incident to y.We say that a graph is antimagic if it has an antimagic labeling.Hartsfield and Ringel conjectured in 1990 that every graph other than 2 K is antimagic.In this paper,we show that the antimagic conjecture is false for the case of disconnected graphs.Furthermore,we find some classes of disconnected graphs that are antimagic and some classes of graphs whose complement are disconnected are antimagic.WANG Tao LIU Mingju LI Deming 2012Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2012,17,3:3

6Superoxide-like Cu/GO single-atom catalysts nanozyme with high specificity and activity for removing superoxide free radicals显示文摘Although nanozyme has become an emerging area of research attracting extensive attention recently,the activity and specificity of currently reported nanozymes are generally lower than those of natural enzymes.Developing highly active and specific nanozymes is therefore extremely necessary and also remains a great challenge.Superoxide dismutase(SOD)catalyzes the disproportionation of cytotoxic O_(2)·^(−)into hydrogen peroxide and oxygen,and plays an important role in reducing human oxidative stress.In this work,we prepare Cu single-atom catalysts(Cu/GO SACs,GO=graphene oxide)through a simple and low-cost strategy at room temperature using Cu foam and graphene oxide.Cu/GO SACs can maintain excellent catalytic activity under harsh environment.Compared with the natural enzyme,SOD-like Cu/GO SAC nanozyme has higher catalytic activity and meanwhile,it does not possess the common properties of other mimic enzymes often existing in nanomaterials.Based on the excellent SOD-like enzyme activity of Cu/GO SACs,it successfully eliminates the active oxygen in cigarette smoke.This work not only provides a new idea for the design and synthesis of nanozymes with excellent SOD mimetic properties,but also is promising in the treatment of lung injury and inflammatory diseases related to free radical production.Mingju Lu Jialu Wang Guoyuan Ren Fengjuan Qin Zhiqiang Zhao Kai Li Wenxing Chen Yuqing Lin 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:1
7Dynamic Changes in Endogenous Hormones in Rhododen- dron simsii Floral Organs显示文摘This study was conducted to investigate the dynamic changes of several hormones in Rhododendron simsii floral organs to provide theoretical basis for controlling its flowering period.A R.simsii variety ' Purple Crane' was selected as the experimental material,and its flower organs were sampled at nine floral developmental stages to measure the contents of gibberellic acid-3( GA_3),abscisic acid( ABA),indole-3-acetic acid( IAA),and zeatin riboside( ZR) through enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay( ELISA).The results showed that the content of ZR was highest at full flowering stage; IAA and GA_3 contents were higher than other stages in the process of flower bud differentiation and flowering.ABA played an important role in the regulation of flower bud formation.The results will provide theoretical references for exploring the regulation of plant hormones towards Rhododendron flower traits and breeding new varieties.Zhiliang LI Ruixue JIANG Lang JIN Lu XU Mingju ZHANG Shuzhen WANG 2016Agricultural Biotechnology2016,5,5:1
8Three-dimensional theoretical analysis of seepage field in front of shield tunnel face显示文摘To evaluate hydraulic head distribution in front of a shield tunnel in a saturated soil layer,theoretical analysis and numerical simulations are carried out in this study.Based on the partial differential equilibrium equation of seepage flow,a three-dimensional(3D)theoretical analytical model of the shield tunnel face and the seepage field in front of it is established using the eigenfunction and the Fourier series expansion methods,and the hydraulic head calculation formula is derived.Combined with engineering cases,the theoretical analysis results and the 3D numerical simulation results are compared and analyzed.The effect of the water pressure of the tunnel face on the hydraulic head distribution is also analyzed.The results of the proposed analytical solution are in agreement with those of the numerical simulation solutions;moreover,the proposed analytical solution requires less time to calculate the seepage hydraulic head than the numerical simulation.The ratio of the initial water table to the diameter(D)of tunnel face has a more significant impact on the hydraulic head distribution at a position 0.5D above the tunnel vault.When the water pressure on the tunnel face is not considered,the values of the hydraulic head are significantly underestimated.Qiguang Di Pengfei Li Mingju Zhang Caixia Guo Fan Wang Jie Wu 2022Underground Space2022,7,4:1
9Genomic analysis,trajectory tracking,and field surveys reveal sources and long-distance dispersal routes of wheat stripe rust pathogen in China显示文摘Identifying sources of phytopathogen inoculum and determining their contributions to disease outbreaks are essential for predicting disease development and establishing control strategies.Puccinia striiformis f.sp.tritici(Pst),the causal agent of wheat stripe rust,is an airborne fungal pathogen with rapid virulence variation that threatens wheat production through its long-distance migration.Because of wide variation in geographic features,climatic conditions,and wheat production systems,Pst sources and related dispersal routes in China are largely unclear.In the present study,we performed genomic analyses of 154 Pst isolates from all major wheat-growing regions in China to determine Pst population structure and diversity.Through trajectory tracking,historical migration studies,genetic introgression analyses,and field surveys,we investigated Pst sources and their contributions to wheat stripe rust epidemics.We identified Longnan,the Himalayan region,and the Guizhou Plateau,which contain the highest population genetic diversities,as the Pst sources in China.Pst from Longnan disseminates mainly to eastern Liupan Mountain,the Sichuan Basin,and eastern Qinghai;that from the Himalayan region spreads mainly to the Sichuan Basin and eastern Qinghai;and that from the Guizhou Plateau migrates mainly to the Sichuan Basin and the Central Plain.These findings improve our current understanding of wheat stripe rust epidemics in China and emphasize the need for managing stripe rust on a national scale.Yuxiang Li Jichen Dai Taixue Zhang Baotong Wang Siyue Zhang Conghao Wang Jiguang Zhang Qiang Yao Mingju Li Chengyun Li Yuelin Peng Shiqin Cao Gangming Zhan Fei Tao Haifeng Gao Weili Huang Xiaojun Feng Yingwen Bai Zhuoma Qucuo Hongsheng Shang Chong Huang Wancai Liu Jiasui Zhan Xiangming Xu Xianming Chen Zhensheng Kang Xiaoping Hu 2023Plant Communications2023,4,4:1
10The analysis of a drug transmission model with family education and public health education显示文摘In this paper,we formulate a six dimensional drug transmission model to study the effect of family education and public health education.The dynamical behaviors of the model are discussed in terms of the basic reproduction number R0.By constructing Lyapunov functions,we obtain the drug-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable if R0≤1 and the drug addiction equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable if R0>1.Sensitivity analyses are performed to seek for effective control measures for drug spread.The analysis show that both the family and public health education can influence the spread of drug transmission.However,the combination of family and public health education is more effective to reduce the prevalence of drugs.Some numerical simulations are given to confirm the obtained theoretical results.Jun Li Mingju Ma 2018Infectious Disease Modelling2018,3,1:1

12Analytical solutions of ground settlement induced by yaw in a space curved shield tunnel显示文摘This paper aims to provide the analytical solutions of the ground settlement for a space curved shield tunnel in the case of yaw construction.Settlement inducements include ground loss and construction loads,and two corresponding analytical models have been proposed in this study.Three-dimensional image theory has been adopted to calculate the ground settlement due to ground loss.Yawrelated parameters are introduced into the calculation model to deduce the relevant laws of the ground settlement.Based on modified Mindlin solutions,analytical models are established to calculate the ground settlement induced by construction loads,such as the frontal additional thrust,axial friction of shield shell,and the grouting pressure.The method of calculating the position of the shield machine in the ground is refined,and the influence area of construction loads from the shield machine is optimized.Subsequently,the obtained solutions are validated by a numerical model and field data.Besides,a comparison reveals that the proposed model is the composition of three classical analytical models,thus it excels them in solving the problem mentioned.Finally,parametric analyses of yaw are conducted to examine yaw angle and pitch angle on ground settlement.The proposed model can effectively predict ground settlement caused by the spatial linear shield tunneling process.Jiannan Xie Pengfei Li Mingju Zhang Fei Jia Shaohua Li 2023Underground Space2023,,6:0

14Experimental investigation of face instability for tunnels in sandy cobble strata显示文摘In order to investigate the influence of face instability for tunnels with different burial depths in sandy cobble strata on earth pressure and the instability region,geomechanical model tests and numerical simulations were performed.The continuous excavation method was adopted to reduce the pressure of the soil bin and restore the real engineering situation.Earth pressure in three directions of the obser-vation section in front of the tunnel face was monitored during the tunneling of the shield.Evolutions of the lateral stress ratios at dif-ferent stages were also investigated.The instability area of the shield tunnel face in sandy cobble strata with different burial depth ratios during the instability stage was obtained based on the change ratio of earth pressure and compared with existing researches.The earth pressure began to change when the excavation was one shield diameter away from the observation section,and when the excavation reached the observation section,the earth pressure decreased significantly.The burial depth of shield tunnel in the sandy cobble strata has a significant impact on the evolution of soil arch and the size of the failure area.The numerical simulation of the continuum medium cannot reflect the stress redistribution characteristics of the granular body like sandy cobble strata,and the failure area or stress distur-bance area obtained by the model test is larger than the numerical simulation result.Existing methods have deviations in analyzing the failure area of shield tunnel face in sandy cobble strata.It provides not only guidance for shield tunnel excavation engineering in sandy cobble strata,but also a reference for the theoretical research on failure areas.Qiguang Di Pengfei Li Mingju Zhang Xiaopu Cui 2023Underground Space2023,,3:0
15Bearing capacity and failure behavior of disconnectable coupling joint with double row wedges(DCJD)used in the prestressed internal bracing显示文摘A disconnectable coupling joint with double row wedges(DCJD)is a crucial component of the prestressed internal bracing in subway foundation pits.However,only a few studies have been conducted on the bearing capacity of the joints;moreover,the yield load and compression stiffness of DCJDs are typically determined from experience.The aim of this study was to quantitatively determine the bearing capacity and propose accurate formulas for calculating the yield load and compression stiffness of DCJDs.Hence,a DCJD was selected from a foundation pit in Beijing,China,and loading experiments were conducted under axial force.Load–displacement and load–strain curves were obtained,and the failure modes of the joint were analyzed.The experimental results were verified through several finite element models.Subsequently,parametric analyses were performed to investigate the effects of the dimensions of the key position on the DCJD’s bearing capacities.Moreover,regression analysis was used to obtain the formulae for estimating the initial compression stiffness and yield load of the DCJD.Finally,the fitting formulae results were compared with the numerical and experimental results.The comparisons showed that the fitting formulae were highly accurate in estimating the bearing capacity of the DCJD.Mingju Zhang Zhitian Xie Pengfei Li 2022Underground Space2022,7,4:0

17Influence of permeability anisotropy of seepage flow on the tunnel face stability显示文摘This paper focuses on the influence of permeability anisotropy of seepage flow on the face stability for a shied tunnel.An analytical model has been proposed to present the hydraulic head distribution around the tunnel face in the anisotropic ground,considering the difference of permeability coefficient in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction.The rationality of the proposed model is ver-ified by a series of numerical simulations.Then,an analytical model of face stability for a tunnel under the anisotropic seepage has been established based on the limit analysis upper bound method.Comparisons of the analytical solutions and the numerical simulations are conducted,and the limit support pressure of the two methods is consistent.The effect of permeability anisotropy and water pressure on the stability of the tunnel face is analyzed through the three-dimensional analytical solution.Anisotropy of permeability has a significant impact on the stability of the tunnel face,and its impact gradually decreases.It can also be found that the water pressure coefficient of the tunnel face has a significant effect on the limit support pressure and the failure area when the ratio of the horizontal permeability to the vertical permeability is large.Qiguang Di Pengfei Li Mingju Zhang Jie Wu 2023Underground Space2023,,1:0
18Bioinformatics exploration of potential common therapeutic targets for systemic and pulmonary arterial hypertension-induced myocardial hypertrophy显示文摘Systemic and pulmonary arterial hypertension(PAH)can induce left and right ventricular hypertrophy,respectively,but common therapeutic targets for both left and right hypertrophy are limited.In this study,we attempt to explore potential common therapeutic targets and screen out potential target drugs for further study.Cardiac mRNA expression profiles in mice with transverse aortic constriction(TAC)and pulmonary arterial constriction(PAC)are obtained from online databases.After bioinformatics analyses,we generate TAC and PAC mouse models to validate the phenotypes of cardiac remodelling as well as the identified hub genes.Bioinformatics analyses show that there are 214 independent differentially expressed genes(DEGs)in GSE136308(TAC related)and 2607 independent DEGs in GSE30922(PAC related),while 547 shared DEGs are associated with the function of the extracellular matrix(ECM)or involved in the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway,cytokine-cytokine receptor interactions,and ECM-receptor interactions.We identifyd Fn1,Il6,Col1a1,Igf1,Col1a2,Timp1,Col3a1,Cd44,Ctgf and Postn as hub genes of the shared DEGs,and most of them are associated with myocardial fibrosis.Those hub genes and phenotypes of cardiac remodelling are validated in our TAC and PAC mouse models.Furthermore,we identify dehydroisoandrosterone(DHEA),iloprost and 4,5-dianilinophthalimide(DAPH)as potential therapeutic drugs targeting both left and right ventricular hypertrophy and validate the effect of DHEA.These findings suggest that DHEA could be an effective drug for pressure overload-induced left or right ventricular hypertrophy by regulating the shared hub differentially expressed genes associated with fibrosis.Lu Chen Mingjue Li Mengjia Shen Yingqi Zhu Kaitong Chen Xiaoxia Huang Cankun Zheng Qiancheng Wang Hairuo Lin Wangjun Liao Jianping Bin Siyuan Ma Yulin Liao 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,5:0
19Analytical algorithms of compressive bending capacity of bolted circumferential joint in metro shield tunnels显示文摘The integrity and bearing capacity of segment joints in shield tunnels are associated closely with the mechanical properties of the joints.This study focuses on the mechanical characteristics and mechanism of a bolted circumferential joint during the entire bearing process.Simplified analytical algorithms for four stress stages are established to describe the bearing behaviors of the joint under a compressive bending load.A height adjustment coefficient,α,for the outer concrete compression zone is introduced into a simplified analytical model.Factors affectingαare determined,and the degree of influence of these factors is investigated via orthogonal numerical simulations.The numerical results show thatαcan be specified as approximately 0.2 for most metro shield tunnels in China.Subsequently,a case study is performed to verify the rationality of the simplified theoretical analysis for the segment joint via numerical simulations and experiments.Using the proposed simplified analytical algorithms,a parametric investigation is conducted to discuss the factors affecting the ultimate compressive bending capacity of the joint.The method for optimizing the joint flexural stiffness is clarified.The results of this study can provide a theoretical basis for optimizing the design and prediciting the damage of bolted segment joints in shield tunnels.Xiaojing GAO Pengfei LI Mingju ZHANG Haifeng WANG Zenghui LIU Ziqi JIA 2023Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2023,17,6:0
20Bending failure performance of a shield tunnel segment based on full-scale test and numerical analysis显示文摘This study focuses on the bending failure performance of a shield tunnel segment.A full-scale test was conducted to investigate deformation and failure characteristics.During the loading,the bending failure process can be divided into four stages:the elastic stage,working stage with cracks,failure stage,and ultimate stage.The characteristic loads between contiguous stages are the cracking,failure,and ultimate loads.A numerical model corresponding to the test was established using the elastoplastic damage constitutive model of concrete.After a comparative analysis of the simulation and test results,parametric studies were performed to discuss the influence of the reinforcement ratio and proportion of tensile longitudinal reinforcement on the bearing capacity.The results indicated that the change in the reinforcement ratio and the proportion of tensile longitudinal reinforcement had little effect on the cracking load but significantly influenced the failure and ultimate loads of the segment.It is suggested that in the reinforcement design of the subway segment,the reinforcement ratio and the proportion of tensile longitudinal reinforcement can be chosen in the range of 0.7%–1.2%and 49%–55%,respectively,allowing the segment to effectively use the reinforcement and exert the design strength,thereby improving the bearing capacity of the segment.Pengfei LI Ziqi JIA Mingju ZHANG Xiaojing GAO Haifeng WANG Wu FENG 2023Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2023,17,7:0
