| 1 | Improving the mechanical property of dissimilar Al/Mg hybrid friction stir welding joint by PIO-ANN显示文摘Ultrasonic-stationary shoulder assisted friction stir welding(U-SSFSW)is a novel hybrid welding technique,which reveals promising prospect in joining Al/Mg dissimilar alloys.A thorough understanding of U-SSFSW process is imperative for the further application of this technique.Pigeon-inspired optimization(PIO)is a swarm intelligent optimization algorithm and is proposed in mathematical modeling and process optimization by artificial intelligence.In this study,PIO optimized artificial neural network(PIOANN)was firstly established to acquire the relationships between the inputs and output of the Al/Mg welding process by U-SSFSW technique.A reliable PIO-ANN was achieved and the joint with a tensile strength of 161 MPa was acquired under the PIO optimized parameters.This tensile strength is higher than any ever-reported results with the similar welding condition.The joint formation,microstructure,microhardness and fracture behaviors were systemically investigated based on the reported studies and the confirmation experiment of this study to explore the enhancing mechanism of U-SSFSW Al/Mg joint. | Wei Hu Zhongwei Ma Shude Ji Qi Song Mingfei Chen Wenhui Jiang | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,52,18: | 3 |
| 2 | I-V and C-V properties of TiO_2 thin film by pulsed-laser reactive deposition显示文摘TiO-2 thin films have bee deposited on p-Si(111) substrates by pulsed-laser ablation of metallic Ti target in the O-3 ambient. The current-voltage and capacitance-voltage of the Al/TiO-2/Si capacitors are measured. The results show that the dielectric constant of thin film after being annealed at 700℃ is found to be 46, and the border trap density and the interface state density at the TiO-2/p-Si interface are 1.8×10 12 cm -2 and 2×10 12 eV -1·cm -2, respectively. | 4 | Active facet determination of layered double hydroxide for oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Oxygen evolution reaction(OER) plays an indispensable role in developing renewable clean energy resources. One of the critical bottlenecks for the reaction is the development of highly efficient electrocatalyst to decrease the high overpotentials of four-electron transfer process of OER. Recently, layered double hydroxides(LDHs) have been widely investigated among the most promising electrocatalysts for OER due to their high intrinsic activity, excellent stability as well as low-cost. However, it remains unclear how the exposed facet of the LDHs affects their electrocatalytic activity. Here we elucidate the active edge facet of LDHs towards OER by combining the finely control of edge facet ratio coupled with molecular probe method and computational calculation. The LDHs with higher edge facet area ratio show superior activity with low onset potential as well as decreased Tafel slope. The active edge site is further proved by blocking the unsaturated edge sites with cyanate probe anion, of which the adsorption largely inhibits OER activity. | 8 | The Role of Dihydroresveratrol in Enhancing the Synergistic Effect of Ligilactobacillus salivarius Liol and Resveratrol in Ameliorating Colitis in Mice显示文摘Currently approved therapeutical strategies for inflammatory bowel diseases(IBD)suffer from variable efficacy and association with risk of serious side effects.Therefore,efforts have been made in searching for alternative therapeutics strategies utilizing gut microbiota manipulation.In this study,we show that the probiotic strain Ligilactobacillus salivarius Li01(Li01)and the phytochemical prebiotic resveratrol(RSV)have synergistic effect in ameliorating colitis in mice.Oral coadministration of Li01(109 CFU/d)and RSV(1.5 g/kg/d)promoted restoration of various inflammatory injuries and gut microbiota composition,exhibiting a favorable anti-inflammatory effect in DSS-induced colitis mice.The combination treatment was associated with reductions in the levels of proinflammatory cytokines IL-1βand IL-6 and increases in the levels of the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-17A in mouse serum.Moreover,the combination treatment was found to alter the composition and metabolism of the gut microbiota,especially influencing the production of short chain fatty acids and anti-inflammatory related molecules.The mechanism underlying the improved anti-inflammatory effect from the RSV and Li01 combination treatment was found to be associated with the environmental sensor mammalian aryl hydrocarbon receptor(AHR)and tryptophan metabolism pathway.Administration of RSV in combination with Li01 in different mouse model led to enhanced conversion of RSV into metabolites,including dihydroresveratrol(DHR),resveratrol-sulfate,and resveratrol-glucuronide.DHR was found to be the dominant metabolite of RSV in conventional and colitis mice.An increased DHR/RSV ratio was confirmed to activate AHR and contribute to an enhanced anti-inflammatory effect.DHR is considered as a potential AHR ligand.The DHR/RSV ratio also affected the serotonin pathway by controlling the expression of Tph1,SERT,and 5-HT7R leading to amelioration of colitis in mice.Our data suggest that treatment with a combination of Li01 and RSV has potential as a therapeutic strategy for IBD;further investigation of this combination in clinical settings is warranted. | Yiqiu Fei Shuobo Zhang Shengyi Han Bo Qiu Yanmeng Lu Weixing Huang Fang Li Deying Chen Bjorn Berglund Hang Xiao Lanjuan Li Mingfei Yao | 2022 | Research2022,,4: | 1 |

| 17 | Refining acceptor aggregation in nonfullerene organic solar cells to achieve high efficiency and superior thermal stability显示文摘With the rapid increase in photoelectric conversion efficiency of organic photovoltaics(OPVs),prolonging the operational lifetime of devices becomes one of the critical prerequisites for commercial applications.Guided by the theoretical calculations of molecular stacking and miscibility,we proposed an effective approach to simultaneously improve device performance and thermal stability of high-efficiency OPVs by refining the aggregation of Y-series acceptors.The key to this approach is deliberately designing an asymmetric Y-series acceptor,named Y6-CNO,which acts as a third component regulator to finely tune the degree of acceptor aggregation and crystallization in the benchmark PM6:Y6-BO system.Strikingly,a champion photovoltaic efficiency of 18.0%was achieved by introducing 15 wt%Y6-CNO into the PM6:Y6-BO system,significantly higher than the control binary cell(16.7%).Moreover,annealing at 100°C for over 1,200 h does not markedly affect the photovoltaic performance of the optimal ternary devices,maintaining above 95%of the initial performance and exhibiting an exceptionally high T_(80)lifetime of 9,000 h under continuous thermal annealing.By contrast,binary devices suffer from excessive crystallization of acceptors with long-term annealing.Additionally,mixing thermodynamics combined with morphological characterizations were employed to elucidate the microstructure-thermal stability relationships.The ternary OPVs consisting of symmetric and asymmetric homologous acceptors form better charge transport channels and can effectively suppress excessive aggregation of acceptors under long-term annealing.This work demonstrates the effectiveness of refining acceptor aggregation via molecular design for highly efficient and stable nonfullerene-based OPVs. | Kaihu Xian Shengnan Zhang Ye Xu Junwei Liu Kangkang Zhou Zhongxiang Peng Mingfei Li Wenchao Zhao Yu Chen Zhuping Fei Jianhui Hou Yanhou Geng Long Ye | 2023 | Science China Chemistry2023,66,1: | 0 |

| 19 | Ecogeographical variation of 12 morphological traits within Pinus tabulaeformis: the effects of environmental factors and demographic histories显示文摘Aims More data are needed about how genetic variation(GV)and envi-ronmental factors influence phenotypic variation within the natural populations of long-lived species with broad geographic distribu-tions.To fill this gap,we examined the correlations among envi-ronmental factors and phenotypic variation within and among 13 natural populations of Pinus tabulaeformis consisting of four demo-graphically distinct groups within the entire distributional range.Methods Using the Akaike’s information Criterion(AiC)model,we measured 12 morphological traits and constructed alternative candidate models for the relationships between each morphological trait and key climatic variables and genetic groups.We then compared the AiC weight for each candidate model to identify the best approximating model for ecogeographical variation of P.tabulaeformis.The partitioning of vari-ance was assessed subsequently by evaluating the independent vari-ables of the selected best models using partial redundancy analysis.Important Findings Significant phenotypic variation of the morphological traits was observed both within individual populations and among populations.Variation partition analyses showed that most of the phenotypic variation was co-determined by both GV and climatic factors.GV accounted for the largest proportion of reproductive trait variation,whereas local key climatic factors(i.e.actual evapotranspiration,AET)accounted for the largest proportion of phenotypic variation in the remaining investigated traits.Our results indicate that both genetic divergence and key environmental factors affect the phenotypic variation observed among populations of this species,and that reproductive and vegetative traits adaptively respond differently with respect to local environmental conditions.This partitioning of factors can inform those making predictions about phenotypic variation in response to future changes in climatic conditions(particularly those affecting AET). | Mingfei Ji Jianming Deng Buqing Yao Renfei Chen Zhexuan Fan Jiawei Guan Xiaowei Li Fan Wu Karl J.Niklas | 2017 | Journal of Plant Ecology2017,10,2: | 0 |
| 20 | Nanostructure and reactivity of soot from biofuel 2,5-dimethylfuran pyrolysis with CO_(2) additions显示文摘This paper investigated the nanostructure and oxidation reactivity of soot generated from biofuel 2,5-dimethylfuran pyrolysis with different CO_(2) additions and different temperatures in a quartz tube flow reactor.The morphology and nanostructure of soot samples were characterized by a low and a high resolution transmission electron spectroscopy(TEM and HRTEM)and an X-ray diffraction(XRD).The oxidation reactivity of these samples was explored by a thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA).Different soot samples were collected in the tail of the tube.With the increase of temperature,the soot showed a smaller mean particle diameter,a longer fringe length,and a lower fringe tortuosity,as well as a higher degree of graphization.However,the variation of soot nanostructures resulting from different CO_(2) additions was not linear.Compared with 0%,50%,and 100%CO_(2) additions at one fixed temperature,the soot collected from the 10%CO_(2) addition has the highest degree of graphization and crystallization.At three temperatures of 1173 K,1223 K,and 1273 K,the mean values of fringe length distribution displayed a ranking of 10%CO_(2)>100%CO_(2)>50%CO_(2) while the mean particle diameters showed the same order.Furthermore,the oxidation reactivity of different soot samples decreased in the ranking of 50%CO_(2) addition>100%CO_(2) addition>10%CO_(2) addition,which was equal to the ranking of mean values of fringe tortuosity distribution.The result further confirmed the close relationship between soot nanostructure and oxidation reactivity. | Lijie ZHANG Kaixuan YANG Rui ZHAO Mingfei CHEN Yaoyao YING Dong LIU | 2022 | Frontiers in Energy2022,16,2: | 0 |
