2Chinese progress in geomorphometry显示文摘Geomorphometry,the science of digital terrain analysis(DTA),is an important focus of research in both geomorphology and geographical information science(GIS).Given that 70% of China is mountainous,geomorphological research is popular among Chinese scholars,and the development of GIS over the last 30 years has led to significant advances in geomorphometric research.In this paper,we review Chinese progress in geomorphometry based on the published literature.There are three major areas of progress:digital terrain modelling methods,DTA methods,and applications of digital terrain models(DTMs).First,traditional vector-and raster-based terrain modelling methods,including the assessment of uncertainty,have received widespread attention.New terrain modelling methods such as unified raster and vector,high-fidelity,and real-time dynamic geographical scene modelling have also attracted research attention and are now a major focus of digital terrain modelling research.Second,in addition to the popular DTA methods based on topographical derivatives,geomorphological features,and hydrological factors extracted from DTMs,DTA methods have been extended to include analyses of the structure of underlying strata,ocean surface features and even socioeconomic spatial structures.Third,DTMs have been applied to fields including global climate change,analysis of various typical regions,lunar surface and other related fields.Clearly,Chinese scholars have made significant progress in geomorphometry.Chinese scholars have had the greatest international impact in areas including high-fidelity digital terrain modelling and DTM-based regional geomorphological analysis,particularly in the Loess Plateau and the Tibetan Plateau regions.LV Guonian XIONG Liyang CHEN Min TANG Guoan SHENG Yehua LIU Xuejun SONG Zhiyao LU Yuqi YU Zhaoyuan ZHANG Ka WANG Meizhen 2017Journal of Geographical Sciences2017,27,11:14
3Identification and screening of nitrogenefficient cotton genotypes under low and normal nitrogen environments at the seedling stage显示文摘Background: Large quantities of nitrogen(N) fertilizer applied to cotton cropping systems support high yields but cause adverse environmental impacts such as N_20 emission and water eutrophication. The development of cotton cultivars with higher N use efficiencies suitable for low-N conditions is therefore important for sustainable production. In this study, we evaluated 100 cotton genotypes in 2016 for N use efficiency and related traits at the seedling stage.Methods: Sand culture experiment was conducted with low N levels(0.01 g·kg^(-1)) or normal N levels(0.1 g·kg^(-1)).We investigated plant height, SPAD value(soil plant analysis development chlorophyll meter), dry weight, N accumulation, N utilization efficiency, and N uptake efficiency. Through descriptive statistics, principal component analysis and heatmap clustering analysis, we confirmed the evaluation index system of N-efficient genotypes and the classification of N-efficient genotypes.Results: Significant differences were observed among N levels and genotypes for all agronomic traits and N levels.Coefficients of variation varied greatly and ranged from 6.7~28.8 and 7.4~20.8 under low-N and normal-N treatment, respectively. All traits showed highly significant positive correlations with each other, except SPAD value.The principal components under both N levels were similar, showing that total dry weight, aboveground dry weight, total N accumulation, and N uptake efficiency were important components. We confirmed these four traits as suitable screening indexes for low N tolerance. Based on the results of heatmap clustering and scatter diagram analysis of N efficiency value, 10 genotypes were found low-N tolerant, in which five varieties were inefficient under both low and normal N conditions, while four varieties were found efficient under low-N conditions but inefficient under normal-N conditions. Only one variety was efficient under both low and normal-N conditions. Meanwhile, 20 genotypes were identified as low-N sensitive ones, in which 19 genotypes were inefficient under low-N conditions but efficient under normal-N conditions, one variety was inefficient under both low and normal-N conditions.Conclusion: We preliminarily identified Kashi as a low-N tolerant and N-efficient cotton genotype, and CCRI 64 as a lowN sensitive and N-inefficient cotton genotype. 4Synthesis of Bimodal Mesoporous TiO_(2)-PTA/BMMS and Its Enhanced Performance in the Photocatalytic Oxidative Desulfurization显示文摘With the bimodal mesoporous silica(BMMS)acting as the support and the composite of TiO2 with phosphotungstic acid(PTA)functioning as the active constituent,TiO_(2)-PTA/BMMS was synthesized by the two-step impregnation route.This catalyst was applied in the photocatalytic oxidative desulfurization(PODS)process,with dibenzothiophene serving as the model sulfur compound.PODS proceeds in one pot,in which H_(2)O_(2) acts as the oxidant and methanol plays the role of the solvent.TiO_(2)-PTA/BMMS was characterized by XRD,N_(2) adsorption and desorption,XRF,FTIR,UV-vis,SEM,EDS and TEM techniques.It showed that the introduction of PTA contributes higher order,higher surface area and pore volume to the bimodal mesoporous support.With TiO_(2)-PTA/BMMS used as the catalyst under the UV irradiation,the desulfurization rate can reach 99.6%.This result is obviously higher than that achieved by TiO_(2)/BMMS.The catalyst also has no significant drop in catalytic activity after eight runs of reusing.In such catalytic system,the synergistic effects of this photocatalytic oxidation and the extraction with the methanol serving as the solvent played an indispensable role.Yang Lina Zhang Xi Cui Licheng Xu Meizhen Li Jian 2021China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,3:8
58-hydroxy-dipropylaminotetralin promotes neural plasticity in epileptic rats with depression显示文摘Rats with chronic pilocarpine-induced temporal lobe epilepsy complicated with depression were studied. Anti-5-bromodeoxyuridine immunofluorescence staining and Timms staining showed that neurogenesis within the hippocampal dentate gyrus and mossy fiber sprouting were increased in model rats. Neurogenesis within the hippocampal dentate gyrus was further enhanced, while mossy fiber sprouting was decreased in model rats administered carbamazepine alone or in combination with the 5-hydroxytryptamine 1A receptor agonist, 8-hydroxy-dipropylaminotetralin (0.1 and 1 mg/kg). Among the groups, the effect was the most significant in rats receiving carbamazepine in conjunction with 1 mg/kg 8-hydroxy-dipropylaminotetralin. 6Emerging CoMn-LDH@MnO2 electrode materials assembled using nanosheets for flexible and foldable energy storage devices显示文摘CoMn layered double hydroxides(CoMn-LDH)are promising electrode materials for supercapacitors because of their excellent cyclic stability.However,they possess relatively low capacitances.In this work,hybrid CoMn-LDH@MnO2 products grown on Ni foams were obtained through a facile hydrothermal method.The as-synthesized samples employed as electrodes deliver a specific capacitance of 2325.01 F g^-1 at 1 A g^-1.An assembled asymmetric supercapacitor using these products as positive electrodes shows a maximum energy density of 59.73 W h kg^-1 at 1000.09 W kg^-1.The prominent electrochemical performance of the as-prepared electrodes could be attributes to hierarchical structures.These findings suggest that hybrid structures might be potential alternatives for future flexible energy storage devices.Yue Zhao Jiafeng He Meizhen Dai Depeng Zhao Xiang Wu Baodan Liu 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,6:7
7SERK Receptor-like Kinases Control Division Patterns of Vascular Precursors and Ground Tissue Stem Cells during Embryo Development in Arabidopsis显示文摘During embryo development, the vascular precursors and ground tissue stem cells divide to renew them-selves and produce the vascular tissue, endodermal cells, and cortical cells. However, the molecular mech-anisms regulating division of these stem cells have remained largely elusive. In this study, we show that loss of function of SOMATIC EMBRYOGENESIS RECEPTOR-UKE KINASE (SERK) genes results in aberrant em-bryo development. Fewer cortical, endodermal, and vascular cells are generated in the embryos of serk1 serk2bak1 triple mutants. WUSCHEL-RELATED HOMBOBOX5 (WOXS) is ectopically expressed in vascular cells of serkl serk2 bak1 embryos. The first transverse division of vascular precursors in mid-globular em-bryos and second asymmetric division of ground tissue stem cells in early-heart embryos are abnormally altered to a longitudinal division. The embryo defects can be partially rescued by constitutively activated mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) kinase kinase YODA (YDA) and MAPK kinase MKK5. 8High-entropy(La_(0.2)Nd_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Eu_(0.2)Gd_(0.2))_(2)Ce_(2)O_(7):A potential thermal barrier material with improved thermo-physical properties显示文摘High-entropy oxides(HEOs)are widely researched as potential materials for thermal barrier coatings(TBCs).However,the relatively low thermal expansion coefficient(TEC)of those materials severely restricts their practical application.In order to improve the poor thermal expansion property and further reduce the thermal conductivity,high-entropy(La_(0.2)Nd_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Eu_(0.2)Gd_(0.2))_(2)Ce_(2)O_(7) is designed and synthesized in this work.The as-prepared multicomponent material is formed in a simple disordered fluorite structure due to the high-entropy stabilization effect.Notably,it exhibits a much higher TEC of approximately 12.0×10^(−6) K^(−1) compared with those of other high-entropy oxides reported in the field of TBCs.Besides,it presents prominent thermal insulation behavior with a low intrinsic thermal conductivity of 0.92 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1) at 1400℃,which can be explained by the existence of high concentration oxygen vacancies and highly disordered arrangement of multicomponent cations in the unique high-entropy configuration.Through high-temperature in-situ X-ray diffraction(XRD)measurement,this material shows excellent phase stability up to 1400℃.Benefiting from the solid solution strengthening effect,it shows a higher hardness of 8.72 GPa than the corresponding single component compounds.The superior thermo-physical performance above enables(La_(0.2)Nd_(0.2)Sm_(0.2)Eu_(0.2)Gd_(0.2))_(2)Ce_(2)O_(7) a promising TBC material.Yun XUE Xiaoqin ZHAO Yulong AN Yijing WANG Meizhen GAO Huidi ZHOU Jianmin CHEN 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,4:7
9Photocatalytic Oxidative Desulfurization of Dibenzothiophene on TiO2 Modified Bimodal Mesoporous Silica显示文摘By using the bimodal mesoporous silica(BMMS) as the carrier and butyl titanate as the titanium source, the TiO_2/BMMS catalyst was prepared. The samples were characterized by XRD, XRF, N_2 adsorption and desorption, FTIR, UVvis,SEM, EDS, and TEM techniques. The test results showed that TiO_2 was amorphous, the TiO_2/BMMS catalyst had an ordered bimodal mesoporous structure, and the chemical interaction existed between BMMS and TiO_2. Since the TiO_2/BMMS had a lower band gap, its photocatalytic activity was better than TiO_2. Under UV irradiation a one-pot PODS system was set up, using TiO_2/BMMS as the catalyst, H_2O_2 as the oxidant, and methanol as the solvent. The TiO_2/BMMS catalyst showed better photocatalytic activity than the mono-modal mesoporous TiO_2/SBA-15 catalyst, and the desulfurization rate of dibenzothiophene(DBT) over TiO_2/BMMS catalyst could reach 99._2%. 13Screening and evaluation of reliable traits of upland cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)genotypes for salt tolerance at the seedling growth stage显示文摘Background:Salt stress significantly inhibits the growth,development,and productivity of cotton because of osmotic,ionic,and oxidative stresses.Therefore,the screening and development of salt tolerant cotton cultivars is a key issue towards sustainable agriculture.This study subjected 11 upland cotton genotypes at the seedling growth stage to five different salt concentrations and evaluated their salt tolerance and reliable traits.Results:Several morpho-physiological traits were measured after 10 days of salinity treatment and the salt tolerance performance varied significantly among the tested cotton genotypes.The optimal Na Cl concentration for the evaluation of salt tolerance was 200 mmol·L-1.Membership function value and salt tolerance index were used to identify the most consistent salt tolerance traits.Leaf relative water content and photosynthesis were identified as reliable indicators for salt tolerance at the seedling stage.All considered traits related to salt tolerance indices were significantly and positively correlated with each other except for malondialdehyde.Cluster heat map analysis based on the morpho-physiological salt tolerance-indices clearly discriminated the 11 cotton genotypes into three different salt tolerance clusters.Cluster I represented the salt-tolerant genotypes(Z9807,Z0228,and Z7526)whereas clusters II(Z0710,Z7514,Z1910,and Z7516)and III(Z0102,Z7780,Z9648,and Z9612)represented moderately salttolerant and salt-sensitive genotypes,respectively.Conclusions:A hydroponic screening system was established.Leaf relative water content and photosynthesis were identified as two reliable traits that adequately represented the salt tolerance of cotton genotypes at the seedling growth stage.Furthermore,three salt-tolerant genotypes were identified,which might be used as genetic resources for the salt-tolerance breeding of cotton.SIKDER Ripon Kumar WANG Xiangru JIN Dingsha ZHANG Hengheng GUI Huiping DONG Qiang PANG Nianchang ZHANG Xiling SONG Meizhen 2020Journal of Cotton Research2020,3,2:5
14In-situ formation of layer-like Ag_(2)MoO_(4)induced by high-temperature oxidation and its effect on the self-lubricating properties of NiCoCrAlYTa/Ag/Mo coatings显示文摘Ag-Mo-O ternary oxide has attracted growing attention because of its potential as a solid lubricant at high temperatures.This work designs and prepares NiCoCrAlYTa/Ag/Mo composite coating,performed using high velocity oxy-fuel(HVOF)spraying technology.The environment temperature plays an important role in the microstructure and phases as well as lubricant properties of NiCoCrAlYTa/Ag/Mo coatings.When the environment temperature is above 600℃,the outer diffusion and oxidation of Ag and Mo lead to the formation of Ag2 MoO4 on the coating surface.Layer-like Ag2 MoO4 could form a continuous lubricant film at 800℃and consequently let the composite coating present the best tribological properties.Meanwhile,a small number of hard particles could play a good bearing role during friction and improve the tribological properties of the composite coating.Enkang Hao Yulong An Jie Chen Xiaoqin Zhao Guoliang Hou Jianmin Chen Meizhen Gao Fengyuan Yan 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,16:4
15Phragmites australis and Typha orientalis in removal of pollutant in Taihu Lake, China显示文摘Two plant populations of Phragmites australis and Typha orientalis grown in gravel and sediment substrate were studied to assess their capabilities for purifying polluted water in Taihu Lake, China. The substrate displayed most significant effects on the suspended matter (P < 0.01), with the reduction of 76%-87% and 52%-63% for P. australis, and 83%-86% and 45%-62% for T. orientalis in gravel substrate and sediment substrate, respectively. Both species and substrates significantly decreased the N and P concentrations of water body (P < 0.01). P. australis showed higher total N and P concentrations in tissues than T. orientalis and had a greater potential to remove nutrients from the lake. Phosphate was easily to concentrate in the belowground tissues, while nitrate concentration was higher in leaf and stalk. Therefore, harvesting the aboveground tissues could take most of nitrate out of the sediment. The saturate photosynthetic rate (Asat) of P. australis was higher than that of T. orientalis when grown in sediment substrate. But instance water-use- effciency (WUEi) (A/E) and intrinsic water use effciency (A/gs) showed the maximum values of two species grown in river water. With significant difference in gs, however, intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci) had no obvious difference in two species which indicated that high Asat value of P. australis might result from the increased carboxylation capacity of the mesophyll, because of the central role of N in photosynthetic enzymes. Our findings suggest that the plants could absorb most of nitrogen in polluted water, while gravel displayed a high capacity for absorbing the suspended matters and phosphate salts. 16Generation of obese rat model by transcription activator-like effector nucleases targeting the leptin receptor gene显示文摘The laboratory rat is a valuable mammalian model organism for basic research and drug discovery. Here we demonstrate an efficient methodology by applying transcription activator-like effector nucleases(TALENs) technology to generate Leptin receptor(Lepr) knockout rats on the Sprague Dawley(SD) genetic background. Through direct injection of in vitro transcribed m RNA of TALEN pairs into SD rat zygotes, somatic mutations were induced in two of three resulting pups. One of the founders carrying bi-allelic mutation exhibited early onset of obesity and infertility. The other founder carried a chimeric mutation which was efficiently transmitted to the progenies. Through phenotyping of the resulting three lines of rats bearing distinct mutations in the Lepr locus, we found that the strains with a frame-shifted or premature stop codon mutation led to obesity and metabolic disorders. However, no obvious defect was observed in a strain with an in-frame 57 bp deletion in the extracellular domain of Lepr. This suggests the deleted amino acids do not significantly affect Lepr structure and function. This is the first report of generating the Lepr mutant obese rat model in SD strain through a reverse genetic approach. 18Application of modern timber structure in short and medium span bridges in China显示文摘A series of problems about Chinese bridges with short and medium span recent years were analyzed in this paper.The necessity and feasibility of modern timber structure applied in short and medium span bridges in China were also put forward.The results showed that the short and medium span bridges had many problems,such as monotonous structural forms,serious environmental pollution,multiple bridge defects and difficulty in maintenance.With the development of connection and maintenance technology of modern timber structure and its advantages of light self-weight,environmental coordination,high carrying capacity,excellent durability and abundant structural forms,it was necessary and feasible to apply modern timber structure in short and medium span bridges in China.More emphasis on the construction of modern timber structure should be conducted to expand its application scopes and improve the construction proportion of short and medium span timber bridges.Meizhen Fu Yongjian Liu Na Li Zhiwei Zhang Enzo Siviero 2014Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2014,1,1:3

20Three dimensional nano-LiMn_(0.6)Fe_(0.4)PO_4@C/CNT as cathode materials for high-rate lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Three dimensional(3D) nano-LiMn_(0.6)Fe_(0.4)PO_4@C/CNT composite was successfully synthesized by an oleylamine-assisted solvothermal method. The prepared composite showed excellent electrochemical performance, especially superior high rate capability. It could deliver a specific discharge capacity of103.1 mAh/g, even at 80 C. The superior high rate performance of the as-prepared LiMn_(0.6)Fe_(0.4)PO_4@C/CNT electrode is attributed to its unique 3D conducting network:(1) the prepared LiMn_(0.6)Fe_(0.4)PO_4@C active particles were in nano-scale with a size of 30-50 nm;(2) LiMn_(0.6)Fe_(0.4)PO_4 nanoparticles were uniformly coated by amorphous carbon with a thickness of 3 nm;(3) the graphitized conductive CNTs were dispersed homogenously among the LiMn_(0.6)Fe_(0.4)PO_4@C active particles.
