1A bioactive injectable self-healing anti-inflammatory hydrogel with ultralong extracellular vesicles release synergistically enhances motor functional recovery of spinal cord injury显示文摘The repair and motor functional recovery after spinal cord injury(SCI)remains a worldwide challenge.The inflammatory microenvironment is one of main obstacles on inhibiting the recovery of SCI.Using mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)derived extracellular vesicles to replace MSCs transplantation and mimic cell paracrine secretions provides a potential strategy for microenvironment regulation.However,the effective preservation and controlled release of extracellular vesicles in the injured spinal cord tissue are still not satisfied.Herein,we fabricated an injectable adhesive anti-inflammatory F127-polycitrate-polyethyleneimine hydrogel(FE)with sustainable and long term extracellular vesicle release(FE@EVs)for improving motor functional recovery after SCI.The orthotopic injection of FE@EVs hydrogel could encapsulate extracellular vesicles on the injured spinal cord,thereby synergistically induce efficient integrated regulation through suppressing fibrotic scar formation,reducing inflammatory reaction,promoting remyelination and axonal regeneration.This study showed that combining extracellular vesicles into bioactive multifunctional hydrogel should have great potential in achieving satisfactory locomotor recovery of central nervous system diseases.Chenggui Wang Min Wang Kaishun Xia Jingkai Wang Feng Cheng Kesi Shi Liwei Ying Chao Yu Haibin Xu Shining Xiao Chengzhen Liang Fangcai Li Bo Lei Qixin Chen 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,8:9
2Integration of InSAR and GPS for hydraulic engineering显示文摘Interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) is a potential earth observation approach, and it has been demonstrated to have a variety of applications in measuring ground movement, urban subsidence and landslides. Currently InSAR provides the ability to map accurate DEM and measure ground deformation to sub-centimeter accuracy. However, many factors affect InSAR to measure ground movement since dam constructions are built in a large scale area with a complicated climate and unstable geology. This paper discusses potential applications of integrated InSAR and GPS to monitor a large-scale ground movement due to hydropower developments. The integration of InSAR and GPS can provide a cost-effective means for monitoring deformation of hydropower developments. 5Science with the 2.5-meter Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST)显示文摘The Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST) is a dedicated photometric surveying facility being built jointly by University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) and the Purple Mountain Observatory(PMO). It is equipped with a 2.5-meter diameter primary mirror, an active optics system, and a mosaic CCD camera with 0.73 gigapixels on the primary focal plane for highquality image capture over a 6.5-square-degree field of view. The installation of WFST near the summit of Saishiteng mountain in the Lenghu region is scheduled in summer of 2023, and the operation is planned to start three months later. WFST will scan the northern sky in four optical bands(u, g, r and i) at cadences from hourly/daily in the deep high-cadence survey(DHS) program, to semi-weekly in the wide field survey(WFS) program. During a photometric night, a nominal 30 s exposure in the WFS program will reach a depth of 22.27, 23.32, 22.84, and 22.31(AB magnitudes) in these four bands, respectively, allowing for the detection of a tremendous amount of transients in the low-z universe and a systematic investigation of the variability of Galactic and extragalactic objects. In the DHS program, intranight 90 s exposures as deep as 23(u) and 24 mag(g), in combination with target of opportunity follow-ups, will provide a unique opportunity to explore energetic transients in demand for high sensitivities, including the electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational wave events, supernovae within a few hours of their explosions,tidal disruption events and fast, luminous optical transients even beyond redshift of unity. In addition, the final 6-year co-added images, anticipated to reach g■25.8 mag in WFS or 1.5 mags deeper in DHS, will be of fundamental importance to general Galactic and extragalactic science. The highly uniform legacy surveys of WFST will serve as an indispensable complement to those of the Vera C. 6Near-infrared fluorescent labeled CGRRAGGSC peptides for optical imaging of IL-11Rα in athymic mice bearing tumor xenografts显示文摘The interleukin-11(IL-11)and the IL-11 receptorα-subunit(IL-11Rα)have been demonstrated to regulate the invasion and proliferation of tumor cells.Our study intends to evaluate a noninvasive imaging of IL-11Rαexpression in breast tumors using near-infrared(NIR)fluorescent dye Cy7-labeled IL-11 mimic peptide CGRRAGGSC.This work evaluated the IL-11Rαexpression of breast tumor cells and the binding status of this peptide to IL-11Rαin vitro and in vivo by using Western blotting,immunofluorescence staining and near-infrared fluorescence imaging.Our biochemical study showed that IL-11Rαwas overexpressed in breast tumor cells(MCF-7).The cell-binding assay demonstrated specific binding of peptide CGRRAGGSC to MCF-7 cells in vitro.In vivo imaging results showed that NIR fluorescent signals of Cy7-CGRRAGGSC were selectively accumulated in tumor and metabolic organs.While in the blocking experiment,free CGRRAGGSC obviously blocked the concentration of the Cy7-CGRRAGGSC in the tumors.These results suggested that IL-11Rαmay be used as a potential target for noninvasive imaging in IL-11Rαoverexpressed tumors.Furthermore,the imaging agent of near-infrared fluorescent dye Cy7-labeled CGRRAGGSC is suitable for IL-11Rαexpression imaging study in vivo.Tiannv Li Jin Sun Yao Hu Min Yang Haibin Shi Lijun Tang 2019The Journal of Biomedical Research2019,33,6:1

9Emergence of higher-level neuron properties using a hierarchical statistical distribution model显示文摘Essential to visual tasks such as object recognition is the formation of effective representations that generalize from specific instances of visual input. Neurons in primary visual cortex are typically hypothesized to efficiently encode image structures such as edge and textures from natural scenes. Here this paper proposed a novel hierarchical statistical distribution model to generalize higher-level neuron properties and encode distributed regularities that characterize local image regions. Two layers of our hierarchical model are presented to extract spiking activities of excitatory neurons decorrelated by inhibitory neurons and to construct the statistical patterns of input data, respectively. Trained on whitened natural images, parameters including neural connecting weights and distribution coding weights are estimated by their corresponding learning rules. To prove the feasibility and effectiveness of our model, several experiments on natural images are conducted. Adapting our model to natural scenes yields a distributed representation for higher-order statistical regularities. 10Cause Analysis and Treatment Measures for Leakage of Top Cover of 330kV GIS Equipment显示文摘Based on the experience of GIS equipment maintenance, the causes of air leakage defects of GIS equipment running in a 330 substation were analyzed. After the equipment was disassembled, the main causes of air leakage were found, and a series of improvement measures were taken to eliminate the GIS equipment leakage defect. And the effective and feasible advice was put forward for this type of air leakage problem. 11A Novel CAPP System Based on SML for Variant Design of Process Planning显示文摘The production model of“multi-specification and low-quantity”is becoming the main trend of manufacturing industry.As a key activity in the manufacturing chain,traditional computer aided process planning(CAPP)system fails to adapt to the production model of customization.Therefore,a novel method for variant design of process planning was proposed to develop CAPP system based on Tabular Layouts of Article Characteristics(Sach-Merk Leisten in German and SML for short). 12Strategies of "Power-off Reset" Failure for Siemens MM440 in the Application of Gas Press显示文摘Gas pressurized fan speed control and remote monitoring was achieved based on three sets of gas pressure MM440 frequency converter control system,through the Profibus-DP network transmission of exchange data and signal instructions. In operation,one converter which adopted ' power-off reset' has broken down,so as to cause two other gas pressurized frequency converter tripping. This paper proposed method to achieve capture and process failures,and application to converter control system. 13The azimuthal currents in the ion-driven magnetic nozzle显示文摘Ion-driven magnetic nozzles(Ti>Te)are designed as intrinsic parts of cutting-edge propulsive technologies such as variable specific impulse magnetoplasma rockets(VASIMRs)and applied-field magnetoplasmadynamic thrusters.Employing a two-dimensional axisymmetric particle-in-cell(PIC)code,in the ion-driven magnetic nozzle,the compositions and distributions of azimuthal currents in different axial regions are investigated under various inlet ion temperatures Ti0 and found to differ dramatically from that in the electron-driven magnetic nozzles.Previously reported to be all paramagnetic and vanishing under a high magnetic field,the azimuthal currents resulting from the E 3 B drift are shown to turn diamagnetic and sustain a considerable magnitude when Ti0 is considered.The previously reported profile of diamagnetic drift current is altered by the introduction of inlet ion temperature,and the paramagnetic part is significantly suppressed.Moreover,a wide range of paramagnetic currents appear downstream due to the inward detachment of ions,which can also be reduced by increasing inlet ion temperature.Albeit considered in this paper,the azimuthal currents resulting from grad-B and curvature drift are still negligible in all cases of interest.The magnitude of diamagnetic azimuthal currents increases with amplifying Ti0,indicating a clear physical image of energy transformation from ion thermal energy to the directed kinetic energy through electromagnetic processes in the magnetic nozzle.Additionally,the magnetic inductive strength also has noticeable impacts on the azimuthal currents,the current magnitude tends to decrease as the magnetic field increases,and over-increment of it may result in larger divergence angles and lower nozzle efficiency.Zhiyuan Chen Yibai Wang Haibin Tang Junxue Ren Min Li Peng Wu Jinbin Cao 2022Propulsion and Power Research2022,11,4:0
