1Aberrant Resting-State Functional Connectivity in the Default Mode Network in Pediatric Bipolar Disorder Patients with and without Psychotic Symptoms显示文摘Mood disorders/psychosis have been associated with dysfunctions in the default mode network(DMN).However,the relative contributions of DMN regions to state and trait disturbances in pediatric bipolar disorder(PBD)remain unclear.The aim of this study was to investigate the possible mechanisms of PBD through brain imaging and explore the influence of psychotic symptoms on functional alterations in PBD patients.Twenty-nine psychotic and 26 non-psychotic PBD patients,as well as 19 age-and sex-matched healthy controls underwent a restingstate functional MRI scan and the data were analyzed by independent component analysis.The DMN component from the fMRI data was extracted for each participant.Spearman's rank correlation analysis was performed between aberrant connectivity and clinical measurements.The results demonstrated that psychotic PBD was characterized by aberrant DMN connectivity in the anterior cingulate cortex/medial prefrontal cortex,bilateral caudate nucleus,bilateral angular gyri,and left middle temporal gyrus,while non-psychotic PBD was not,suggesting further impairment with the development of psychosis.In summary,we demonstrated unique impairment in DMN functional connectivity in the psychotic PBD group.These specific neuroanatomical abnormalities may shed light on the underlying pathophysiology and presentation of PBD.Yuan Zhong Chun Wang Weijia Gao Qian Xiao Dali Lu Qing Jiao Linyan Su Guangming Lu 2019Neuroscience Bulletin2019,35,4:5

8In-situ STM observation of the phase transition of two-dimensional 2,5-distyrylpyrazine nanostructure adsorbed on Au(111) in an electrochemical environment显示文摘The phase transition of 2,5-distyrylpyrazine (DSP) adsorbed on Au(111) substrate was studied as a function of the substrate potential in 0.1 M HClO 4 , using an in situ scanning tunneling microscope (STM). Depending on the applied electric field, DSP formed three distinctly different, two-dimensionally (2D) ordered, supramolecular nanostructures on the Au(111) surface. 9Properties of Flare Events on M Stars from LAMOST Spectral Survey Based on Kepler and TESS Light Curves显示文摘A catalog of M stars has been published from the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope data release 7(LAMOST DR7).We cross-matched the LAMOST M catalog with Kepler,Kepler 2(K2)and Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite(TESS)surveys.We obtained the light curves from the Kepler and TESS surveys.We detected 20,047 flare events from 4053 M stars and calculated their durations,amplitudes,and energies.We analyzed the distribution of the flare durations and energies.The distributions of flare duration for Kepler,K2 and TESS peak are at 3–3.5 hr,4–6 hr and 1–1.5 hr,respectively.This may be the result of the different cadences for the three data sets.The highest regions of the flare energies of Kepler,K2 and TESS are 32–32.5,32–32.5 and31–31.5 erg in Log format,respectively.A linear relationship between flare duration and energy emerges from our analysis.The ratio of flare duration to total observational time is approximately 0.2%–0.3%for the Kepler,K2 and TESS surveys.The occurrence rate of a star with a flare event increases from the M0 to M4 subtypes.We also determined the spatial distribution of the flare rate of M stars in the Milky Way.It seems that the flare rate decreases as the vertical height increases.The power index of the flare energies is in the region of 1.53–2.32,which is similar to previous result for solar type star(2.0).Further,we examined the relationship between the flare amplitude and chromospheric intensity.The flare activity increases rapidly with the increase in the HαEW at the lower values(less approximately 2?)and it increases slowly at the higher values.Gang Meng Li-Yun Zhang Tianhao Su Zilu Yang Xianming LHan Prabhakar Misra Liu Long Qingfeng Pi Zhongzhong Zhu Linyan Jiang 2023Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,5:0
10Cell-type-specific genes associated with cortical structural abnormalities in pediatric bipolar disorder显示文摘Background Pediatric bipolar disorder(PBD)has been proven to be related to abnormal brain structural connectivity,but how the abnormalities in PBD correlate with gene expression is debated.Objective This study aims at identification of cell-type-specific gene modules based on cortical structural differences in PBD.Methods Morphometric similarity networks(MSN)were computed as a marker of interareal cortical connectivity based on MRI data from 102 participants(59 patients and 43 controls).Partial least squares(PLS)regression was used to calculate MSN differences related to transcriptomic data in AHBA.The biological processes and cortical cell types associated with this gene expression profile were determined by gene enrichment tools.Results MSN analysis results demonstrated differences of cortical structure between individuals diagnosed with PBD and healthy control participants.MSN differences were spatially correlated with the PBD-related weighted genes.The weighted genes were enriched for“trans-synaptic signaling”and“regulation of ion transport”,and showed significant specific expression in excitatory and inhibitory neurons.Conclusions This study identified the genes that contributed to structural network aberrations in PBD.It was found that transcriptional changes of excitatory and inhibitory neurons might be associated with abnormal brain structural connectivity in PBD.Wenkun Lei Qian Xiao Chun Wang Weijia Gao Yiwen Xiao Yingliang Dai Guangming Lu Linyan Su Yuan Zhong 2022Psychoradiology2022,2,2:0
