1Multifunctional building elements for the construction of peptide drug conjugates显示文摘Engineering of smart building molecules is key basis in designing intelligent drug delivery systems.As an emerging sophisticated delivery system strategy,the powerful functions of peptide drug conjugates(PDCs)are attributed to a smart linker and multifunctional peptide domain.Peptides exhibit a wide range of functions and properties,including easy chemical synthesis and versatile modification,tunable biocompatibility,diversified self-assembled nanostructures,specific recognition/binding,and deep penetration of the cell membrane/extracellular matrix.In addition,various types of linkers enable PDCs to release drugs responsively according to the disease microen-vironment or treatment needs.Owing to these inherent advantages,PDCs have been widely explored for drug delivery.Herein,the latest developments in functional peptides and linkers commonly used to construct smart PDCs are reviewed.The purpose is to bring widespread attention to PDC design strategies and their contribution to fighting various diseases,as well as to provide guidance for research on intelligent PDC drug delivery systems.Liu Xu Shan Xu Tangyong Xiang Heng Liu Linwei Chen Baoping Jiang Junhong Yao Hongliu Zhu Rongfeng Hu Zhipeng Chen 2022Engineered Regeneration2022,3,1:0
2An Interdecadal Change in the Influence of the NAO on Atlantic-Induced Arctic Daily Warming around the Mid-1980s显示文摘After approaching 0℃owing to an Atlantic storm at the end of 2015,the Arctic temperature approached freezing again in 2022,indicating that Arctic daily warming events remain a concern.The NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis dataset was used to investigate the influence of the NAO on the Arctic winter daily warming events induced by Atlantic storms,known as the Atlantic pattern-Arctic Rapid Tropospheric Daily Warming(Atlantic-RTDW)event.Atlantic-RTDW events are triggered by Atlantic storms that transport warm and humid air masses moving into the Arctic.Furthermore,an interdecadal change in the influence of NAO on Atlantic-RTDW-event frequency was observed around the mid-1980s.Specifically,before the mid-1980s(pre-transition period),500-hPa southerly(northerly)wind anomalies occupied the North Atlantic(NA)in the positive(negative)phase of NAO,which increased(decreased)the Atlantic-RTDW events occurrence by steering Atlantic storms into(away from)the Arctic;thus,the NAO could potentially influence the Atlantic-RTDW-event frequency.However,the relationship between the NAO and the Atlantic-RTDW-event frequency has weakened since the mid-1980s(post-transition period).In the post-transition period,such 500-hPa southerly(northerly)wind anomalies over the NA hardly existed in the positive(negative)phase of NAO,which was attributed to a stronger Atlantic Storm Track(AST)activity intensity than that in the pre-transition period.During this period,the strong AST induced an enhanced NAOrelated cyclone via transient eddy-mean flow interactions,resulting in the disappearance of southerly and northerly wind anomalies over the NA.Cen WANG Baohua REN Gen LI Jianqiu ZHENG Linwei JIANG Di XU 2023Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2023,40,7:0
3Band alignment and interlayer hybridization in monolayer organic/WSe_(2) heterojunction显示文摘Semiconducting heterojunctions(HJs),comprised of atomically thin transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs),have shown great potentials in electronic and optoelectronic applications.Organic/TMD hybrid bilayers hold enhanced pumping efficiency of interfacial excitons,tunable electronic structures and optical properties,and other superior advantages to these inorganic HJs.Here,we report a direct probe of the interfacial electronic structures of a crystalline monolayer(ML)perylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylic-dianhydride(PTCDA)/ML-WSe_(2) HJ using scanning tunneling microscopy,photoluminescence,and first-principle calculations.Strong PTCDAAA/Se_(2) interfacial interactions lead to appreciable hybridization of the WSe_(2) conduction band with PTCDA unoccupied states,accompanying with a significant amount of PTCDA-to-WSe_(2) charge transfer(by 0.06 e/PTCDA).A type-ll band alignment was directly determined with a valence band offset of-1.69 eV,and an apparent conduction band offset of-1.57 eV.Moreover,we found that the local stacking geometry at the HJ interface differentiates the hybridized interfacial states.Yanping Guo Linlu Wu Jinghao Deng Linwei Zhou Wei Jiang Shuangzan Lu Da Huo Jiamin Ji Yusong Bai Xiaoyu Lin Shunping Zhang Hongxing Xu Wei Ji Chendong Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:0
